When new bt comes out, no complaining.(warning)
I’m going to start as a warning that this post will be controversial. I think that new BT is great, & it’s a good way to deal with face camping & camping in general. I think it’s a healthy change. Thus saying, people are going to lose their right to grievance about camping, face camping. People still grievance anyway, but your credibility for it drops. Is it scummy to camp & face camp?? Yes very scummy. I don’t do unless you ask for it. Idc about throwing the game, I’m going to have the same respect you give me. Sorry for the paragraph.

They’re reworking it even if you’re not In The terror radius it still activates but for a shorter time.
yeah no more terror radius. always gonna activate no matter where the killer is near the hook or far away.
On PTB it triggers unconditionally.
It's not a big deal for the most part, but now you don't get cucked if you're running BT against Freddy.

I think it is still bad, the perk was already fine. It is more unhealthy than anything since it encourages bad saves by survivors since they can now unhook in front of stealth killers when they aren't necessarily camping.
It would make more sense to redesign something with the game rather than relying on this perk to fix camping.
I think it's quite a good way to work arround camping killers that didn't really get affected by BT like Freddy, Twins or Hag. That being said I'm a bit scared that killers that are not camping will maybe get punished by annoying survivors that get unhooked and run out of nowhere to bodyblock, but I guess we'll see if the 12 seconds allows for that.

Yeah, use a perk to "fix" bad game design in a badly designed way! No reason to complain at all!
Good point. MYC would be used a bit more for bad saves. 😉
MYC doesn't trigger if you're within 32 meters of the hook. If you are far enough away that you can proc MYC, it's not really a bad save. MYC does nothing against a legitimately bad save being shielded by BT.

BT doesn't bother me. Never has. Yes, go mend in the corner, I'm chasing your friend now. You're a very brave survivor for trying to body block. Papa clown will catch up with you real soon.
Worst case scenario? I know how to count to fifteen. It is no problem.

Exactly. As I posted before I think the new bt change is good. Insidious camping won’t be effective as it used to be.
Ok I think BT is a great idea perk and so is the rework there is just one small little tweak I want made to it. The unhooked survivor has no colosion.

You can do a lot more depending on the killer you're playing. Wraith and Twins come to mind.
All which are well within the game rules, same as bodyblocking with BT.
That would make the perk half neutered because:
Bodyblocking rewards unsafe unhooks and poor plays. So many time I would have easily gotten a down on the unhooker but the other person blocks a doorway for 15 seconds and I am either forced to give them a speedboost or wait 15 seconds and lose the other guy. Also I want BT basekit so it is in every game.

We’re not but I threw it in there since it is relative. Basically as a way of saying it’s fair game when there are things on the opposing side which can be denied via a bodyblock.
I mean, yeah, they're allowed to do it. For me, it's more of a question of "is this gameplay pattern acceptable?"
Camping victims will be happy and out of excuses, but I can see how this will negatively impact killers in the end game.
