O really, i didn't know that. thx :)
Anytime, homeslice🤙

Oh ok I thought this was a mod insult thread.
Yeah no this is still bad though. You can't name and shame, even if that's not your intention, or you'll get banned from the forums. If you care about that you might wanna censor their name.
-
Ok kO

Let's be real though. Nemesis has been one of if not the most iconic Resident Evil figures ever since the release of the original Re3. Mr. X was only kinda more well known after the remake. It makes sense they went with Nemmy.
Did keep your word though. Props lol.

Just listen to their breathing....................

Few things:
1. Maybe feathering your chainsaw could've made her use it a bit earlier.
2. It looked like you were close enough that if you would've waited just a bit longer you could've downed her as soon as the I-frames ended.
3. Continuing to chase at shack isn't the best idea.
I agree with your main point, but I have to play devil's advocate here a little and say this isn't a good example.
-
Yeah.

Meanwhile I'm left to die on first hook because nobody comes to rescue me.

Fun fact: the "triple dot" (...) actually has a name. It's called an ellipsis. The more you know.
Anyways here we are

Sooo how bout something like an endorsement system like in overwatch? There would only be options for positive endorsements as we already know a negative option would be abused to hell.
You can endorse your teammates for things like "Very altruistic" or "Very efficient" or "Good sportsmanship" and on the flip side killers and survivors can endorse each other for "Good sportsmanship" or "Fun to play against" and stuff along those lines.
Of course there would have to be certain restrictions like you can only endorse one teammate and one opponents per match, unless you're the killer in which case you can endorse 2 survivors, and you can't endorse people you are in a swf with. To give a little bit of incentive to use the endorsement system you receive 150 bp or 100 xp each time you endorse someone. (Values are all open to change obviously.) Leaving matches prematurely will reduce your endorsement level and make it so nobody from that match can endorse you(I mean why would they want to anyways?)
The matchmaker will take endorsement level into account and try to match you with played of similar endorsement level, but to avoid ######### up Q times it will expand it's search if it can't find anyone after X amount of time like it does with rank.

You didn't read me post very clearly did you? I'm calling out the hypocrisy on this board. Whenever someone talks about how survivors at the highest level, as proven by tournament play and depip squads, are far more powerful than killers are, the response is always "We shouldn't balance the game around high level, those are really rare". So, i'm stating that by that logic, if we balance the game for average players, then we need to look at the stats, and based on that nurse is the worst killer in the game and needs buffs.
Yea that's not what I meant though.
I do agree with your post, but I wouldn't want to give the impression that I don't by questioning you further. So I won't. Maybe some other time.
-
Hey I'm not trying to call you out or devalue your post by any means, but I thought you were someone who advocated for Nurse nerfs as a Nurse player because you really did think she was too strong. I could be wrong and have you mistaken for someone else, but if not I'm curious on why the change of heart?
Again not trying to call you out or anything I'm literally a Nurse main myself. Just curious.
-
No. No it doesn't.
But the milk should always go before the cereal.
-
Oni. I'll let the people who comment after me explain why.
-
Can't remember the last time I played against a doc at all.
-
Nope me too. Nerf corn pls🌽👎
-
I got one already owned perk in the shrine for bp.
-
Yeah nope. Can't play her right now. It's no good. Lag and freeze frames make her especially unplayable atm.
-
I've been farming only and playing overwatch when I'm not on Dbd.

Here’s some for Twins.
Hexes are the best perks for Twins because they all work even while Victor is in use. (i.e. Crowd Control>Bamboozle, Ruin>Pop)
Victor’s Lunge Animation is faster and farther than Dead Hard so 90% of the time he will hit through it.
Victor has built in Bloodhound, which is something you can abuse when Survivors are injured. It heavily counters Iron Will and helps snowball slugging. The blood is so bright that I’ll sometimes go on top of hills and see a blood trail from across the map.
And my final tip is for Charlotte. Always keep her centrally located since she’s only 115% while Victor is 150%+. It saves time in the long run and totally freaks out Survivors when you chase them with Victor into the center of the map right to Charlotte.
More great Twins knowledge. I used to think that dead hard simply didn't work against victor unless you dead harded out of the way of his lunge completely, but that explains that.

Haddonfield: You can completly counter Myers House top floor window by faulting and then lunging right after. Its far enough that you drop off almost instantly. You safe more then a second by doing so and therefore the survivor wont make it upstairs anymore.
EDIT: Here is someone showing the trick
Holy ######### that's ######### genius.

With Twins, it's often a good idea to release Victor and control him while Charlotte is standing under a pallet. Survivors often can't resist the urge to stun Charlotte when she's dormant under a pallet, which means that you get a pallet for free AND immediately get into a chase. Stupid, but it works.
For Deathslinger, reeling survivors actually makes the chain decay faster. This means that depending on the loop and where the survivor is, intentionally not holding down the reel button while walking around the loop means you cover more distance before the chain breaks. I've managed to get a shot through the broken window of the shack, and gone all the way around to the pallet side and STILL gotten a hit thanks to intentionally not reeling when the survivor's where I want them to be. Remember, though, always start reeling again in the moments before you lunge.
For Plague, you want to aim your vomit stream at the wall when you turn a corner, rather than at the survivor. This changes the vomit's momentum and lets you puke on survivors around corners. Difficult to describe, but borderline essential at some loops.
Also for Plague, she can puke much further than you think. Make sure to aim your camera as high as you can, and puke while walking forwards for maximum distance. Think of it like Clown's bottle arc.
Lots of good knowledge here. I especially like that Twins tip. That could definitely be useful.

Former Nurse main, but these tips should still apply.
- The Nurse's blink landing area has a hitbox. You can use this to block survivors, or even to find them (if you're using Plaid Flannel and pay attention). However, because of this, you need to charge longer than you'd expect to go behind a survivor who's on the other side of a pallet or rubble.
- The Nurse's blinks are not instantaneous. Keep that in mind when you try to catch a survivor who's far away.
- You can aim down to shorten your blink distance, which is very useful against survivors who constantly double back. However, you have to keep in mind any underground areas and avoid aiming at them, or you'll blink into them.
As a current Nurse main I approve!
Not that you even need my approbation though.

Always moonwalk as myers by the exit gates.
It's common knowledge that if you don't do this you are simply playing Myers wrong.

@Phasmamain said:
Never throw directly bottles at survivors unless you’re going for an interrupt. Too many clowns just play him like huntress for some reason
Yea going for direct hits with bottles is hard enough. Supposedly it's supposed to increase the effect of the bottle if you do get a direct hit though.

You need to be at the right spot to do it, otherwise it just goes into the air. But right around where the staircase meets the deck you can fire down onto the survivors through the wall. It can be a bit hard to pull off but when you do they can’t get out because you recover fast enough to M1 before they can run past you.

Could definitely see this coming in handy.

With Legion, blinding ends their frenzy.
So, if a survivor drops a pallet and wants to blind you with a flashlight, you can activate Feral Frenzy, vault, and swing. If you time it right, the survivor will blind you right as you finish vaulting, and you'll do a basic attack that will damage them instead of Feral Slash.
Kinda confusing, but rewarding to pull off.
Ah yes the forbidden legion tech. Never been able to pull it off myself, but I bet it'd make you feel like a god.

Pyramid head can launch shots from the basement staircase / deck down into the basement and it makes getting out borderline impossible even with BT.
Really? Damn that's pretty crazy.
-
Eeyup.
Monitor won't work on him though. He has a lullaby like Huntress. More salt in the wound.
-
As killer I need to work on my ######### awareness. I'll be watching other people play and see them be like "Somebody's here" and they'll find them and get a free easy hit and I'll be like #########? I didn't hear anything. I didn't see anything. How'd they know that?
Makes me question how many survivors hide practically right under my nose without me noticing. There are times where I do catch the sound of someone breathing, but I'm sure most of the time the ambience of the game has my ears too occupied to notice.
But that's why I run whispers almost all the time.

Mostly I was curious what they meant by slightly. Like had he gone to 110 it might have been an okay addon. I've honestly never gotten around to even Scratched Mirror Myers. I mostly just run Hair Bow and J. Myers Memorial.
Not only is the speed reduction too much, but it's also inconsistent with Hag's water-logged shoe add-on. That add-on states that it slightly INcreases her movement speed, but does it increase by 7% ? No it only increases it by 2.5%.
Pretty dumb tbh.

Do they just sit under offerings saying retired? Guess its time to never prestige.
Yup. I've got a few of those and the glass ones on my xbox Nurse and I've got a 3 year cake on my Hag on my ps4 account. Never will I prestige either of them.
-
Ooooh. I say collect it. You'll never get another again.
-
Used to play her a bit back in 2019, but I've completely dropped her since. She's the only killer I still have 3rd year anniversary cakes on iirc.
-
None. There's always room for improvement.
-
It's literally just a minor inconvenience for the killer. It's think it's fine.
-
Ooh another console Nurse in the making? I gotcha. I main her on ps4.
So that thing you described where you can't attack after blinking is what I call the lunge bug or what most refer to as "M1 bug." Lots of fun. It's random and happens whenever the game feels like ######### you over, but that's just one of those things that comes with playing her.
As for tips I'm gonna assume you play against the average red rank survivors. Before we go into that though I'm going to suggest that you play at a decently high sensitivity. I play at 75 so somewhere around that is ideal. You want to be able to turn fast enough that you can match the survivors jukes, but not so fast that you can't control it and that it screws up your blink accuracy.
Now then. Most survivors in red ranks are aware that doubling back can throw off the Nurse and make her screw up her blink, but usually this is the only method they know. If you suspect someone is going to double back just go short with your blink. If they break LOS then blink to the location where LOS was broken. If they double back into you smack em and if they keep running use second blink to catch em. Try to get a feel for each survivor and how they play and you should be able to easily predict their movement most of the time.
Pretty basic stuff. It'd be nice if you could post some of your gameplay to see exactly where you stand so I can try to give better tips based off that.
-
Twitchies? Eh for me they're pretty cool most of the time. Guess I'm just lucky. Plus it's fun to watch the vod after the game to see how you played from a different perspective.

Good job 👏

90% of my friends list on ps4 are players from Dbd. In most cases they add me or chat me first and I add them back and we'll usually play like one or two games together and then after that they'll just sit there in my friends list. I can only think of one person I met on Dbd who I actually talk to on a daily basis.
-
If you just want to have the best chance at winning you can go with the standard Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer along with Infectious Fright. If you're already a pretty decent Nurse and want to improve you probably won't want to rely on those perks.
Right now I'm working with Bbq, Whispers, Shadowborn, Agitation. Trying to improve myself, but console Dbd is in the ######### gutter right now. Well more than usual at least.

Same.

Yeahhh I feel you. Chasing survivors around the big solid houses can be a real pain in the ass. You have to make sure you charge your blink long enough to go through otherwise it'll just get swallowed by the house. That and blink hitboxes just in general are inconsistent af.
-
I like the set amount of time to get out of traps. Even with the chance of escaping traps on your first couple of attempts being reduced I still regularly have people escape the traps on their first attempts anyways. In fact it feels like they're more likely to escape on their first or second try now than it was before that change.
Anyways yeah it's something. Poster boy needs all the help he can get.

Wonder what gave you that impression.
