Either keep an eye on them or watch for blood on the ground.
bloodhound.
Hey have you heard of ✨eyes✨
Bloodhound as a perk exists, as does regular blood. Lucky Break with this will be a pain to deal with so hopefully the devs will put it back to 45 seconds
Blood hound or predator.
...new Iron Will? Have I missed something?
Assuming this isn't about the Stridor nerf of course.
Perks don't need counters. There are plenty of perks without counters and it's not a consideration when making a perk.
Yeah Spirit mains complaining, I have never seen Stridor on other killer, maybe once a Nurse.
But suddenly Stridor is a meta perk that will be missed by all the killers, and need IW counter...strange
They’re changing it in the mid chapter. Stridor is no longer a counter. You get the full 100%
Unless you were using Stridor, you counter it exactly the same.
Just listen to their breathing....................
:)
👀...
You can use blood, scratchmarks, footsteps, and crows, Iron Will has been in the game since release, don't see why everyone is acting as though it's a problem after 5 years.
Eyes? never heard of it,
Only thing i know is to be a angy killer main apparently,
that's the neat part. you don't.
A popular streamer made videos about it.
And Stridor nerf, instead of adjusting the Spirit.
Spies from the Shadows is underated. That's what I'll switch to when the time comes.
... Wait, weren't you saying that you didn't like Iron Will because it makes injured Survivors completely and totally silent compared to normal Survivors?
I'd have figured you would have been upset by this.
So you're telling me you actually ran Stridor? I never see that perk.
"Perks don't need counters"
Then why does iron need to counter stridor?
If you want sound then:
You don't :D
But bloodhound/looking out for blood more can be helpful.
How do I counter brutal strength??
We need a 10 minute video on that
I actually do equip stridor when I’m fed up with iron will. Stridor hag meta
Well, eyes don't help you with tracking through walls though
i mean lets be real who is actually using Stridor ever on anyone but Spirit. not worth getting upset over.
This.. I’ve gotten better over the years with tracking blood but when I was really struggling hard I used to run sloppy butcher with bloodhound. It can also help find anyone slugged as a makeshift deerstalker but unlike deerstalker it will have an effect the entire match as long as people are injured.
Spies from the Shadows.
Survivors got 99 problems and a snitch is an extra one :)
I still maintain my position that IW should've been changed a long time ago.
Either fix the sounds or change IW.
People who use it on nurse and pyramid head to get you through the wall
It needs a minor nerf. You're more quiet when you're injured using IW. You should still make breathing noises when you're running injured imo.
Iron Will doesn't need to counter Stridor but the developers are nerfing Spirit by nerfing a perk only she uses with consistency.
Iron Will in general wouldn't be a problem if it didn't also remove breathing noise and sometimes footsteps. With how bugged sounds get IW can be stupidly strong.
I've managed to find people through walls using blood before
I've done it with blood before, if I'm searching for someone chances are I'll actually look around
Eyes.
me an intellectual: 👁👄👁
Just like you were before. Don't tell me you were actually using stridor?
For me, nothing really changes tbh
Bloodhound and spies from the shadows should work pretty well
Teeeechnically predator cause at a intersection it does show more clearly wether they went left or right but it messes up normal tracking so much it isn't worth it.
Someone suggested eyes before. That's stupid don't use eyes. Use your nose, smell their fear. Or sweat.
You don't. The Devs don't want you to be able to track survivors without LoS in any reasonable in-chase capacity, possibly because they themselves can't loop and want survivors to escape chases as well as drawing them out.
It's so sad to see all the people that think IW is okay and that the other sounds are the problem. If that were the case, the Devs would never have admitted to messing up the sounds.
these counters don't help when the survivor is in the other side of a wall, where grunts are the only clue
Use your eyes.
The survivor is injured. Blood and scratch marks still exist. How would you track a healthy survivor behind a wall? It'S iMpOsSiBlE!
It was the same as Franklin’s
Already said this but when I'm looking for someone chances are I'll check the other side of a wall, at which point I will see the blood.
Don´t know if it was the same streamer. But one said (and i quote): "Iron Will is like the phasing of Spirit. Killers without line of sight have to guess where the survivor is" "But Iron Will is totally fine as a perk"
That streamer ironically gave a reason why Spirit doesn´t require a nerf.
By playing survivor with spine chill and iron will
breathing
That's a lot of words to put into someone's mouth - I actually don't play Spirit or use Stridor.
I do play with Freddy's Jump Rope add-on in some fun builds, though.
I could definitely be missing something, but I was under the impression that all sound altering perks/add-ons have had their math reworked to be multiplicative.
Play Plague. Laugh at their perk selection.
