This is why I dislike gameplay altering addons being locked behind addons because you need to farm like mad if a certain playstyle tickles your fancy but cant be replicated with the base kit
-
If this dude were NA I'd volunteer to show just exactly what a low MMR survivor is capable of.
I die in 99% of my games but in the games that I dont, I have over a 99% escape rate

If you had items in your hands your blocking your third eyes sight.
Yeah, look at Mike there; she's clearly using both of her hands there. It's impossible to use items with this.
-
I think it's time we addressed the elephant in the room and talked about Sadako. Why is it okay that she can attack a survivor twice and IMMEDIATELY put them into the dying state? 😤
-
Pinhead feels sweatier to work because you really want to know where all 4 survivors are and contest the box while also not losing your generators, on top of having high risk/low reward chains
Dredge feels less intense to play, the only tricky part about Dredge is fully utilizing his Remnant but at least that doesn't hurt my brain.
Pinface is probably the better killer with the higher ceiling, but I feel Pinhead can be countered easier and he'll have a rougher time for it when things don't go his way; Dredges counters tend to be the map itself lol.
I guess it depends if you like the idea of a 1v4 capability through secondary objective that survivors can contest or if you'd like a gimmick power.
I suppose I'd rather have that gimmicky power on large maps like Red Forest but I'd prefer Pinhead on tighter maps like Midwich where I can more freely contest boxes.

Darn, here I was hoping for free wins tonight just by equipping Franklin's /s

Gl in Overwatch because the teams are even worse than solo q survivors atm
-
Floods of Rage caught my first toilet paper Deight cheater the other night. Aura caught him red handed so he gave up pretending to be legit so we all just started goofing off
God bless Floods
-
If enough survivors wasted time piling on the Box with no communication wed still be better off than we are now.
I would feel bad because I enjoy solo q so I can relate, but it's because I'm a Solo Qer that I know teams deserve to die because nobody bothers.
People are scared of the Box because they dont want to accidentally risk being the target of a tunnel or camp because all it takes is one down
-
Game sense? Idk.

9 times out of 10 the killer B-lines it for the unhooked anyhow. "Take agro" doesn't work like that bud. Killer mains usually tunnel out someone so they can put more "pressure" on the rest.
This is precisely why I've been rocking BT+Guardian in Solo Q and I swear by it for this situation. Watching killers blatantly ignore me and fail to find the unhooked never fails to amuse me.

I understand your point about things being fine in one mmr but game breaking in another, but all I'm saying is that we should be careful how we nerf stuff as to not make the casual players' experience too unpleasant. It's already super discouraging being a casual survivor. People play 300h and are still not good at chases, still have horrendous escape rates. How long is "eventually"? How much neglect is it tolerable to inflict on what makes a good part of the playerbase, because of another ?
I get that things need to be adjusted at high mmr, but all that is done is stuff that majorly impact average-level players more than it does high mmr. Killers were buffed to have higher overall killrates because they didn't kill enough in high mmr. That's all good and fine. Except most it did was make casual, average players' games harder.
So yeah, changes need to be done, but for the love of all that is unholy, let's tread lightly on making the beginner and casuals experiences worse. This game is not competitive by nature, everyone should be able to enjoy it without it taking a thousand hours of experience...
There's a reason Self care is still popular even by itself. I agree that messing with med kits too much would probably be a terrible idea.
-
this is partly why I think Tricksters seem so salty on average and will camp/tunnel and honestly I don't blame em
even throwing knives slowly and methodically has crazy recoil
-
dbd attracts some people who tend to be unstable and irrational; anything can be perceived as a personal slight. It's why my policy typically is to not engage with people because there is nothing productive to say, because everything said is just them lashing out and blaming everything around them so there's nothing to reason with.
Sorry about your matches, those kind of days are rough :/
-
I would say the Bill tome cuz Plague is beautiful and a Bill outfit is cool but they really dropped the ball with Bills outfit, especially with the glasses.
My favourite is probably the one that had the Mime Feng because that's the tome that kickstarted my passion for Feng
-
fun fact: one time there was this one dude who used a poopsicle to scoop his way out of an avalanche that had caved him in.

i think people are more upset that you "steal" energy from the survivor when they get downed. but honestly not that bad
just the usual people being more toxic and trying there hardest to not let the other side get there reward
Sounds ike the good kind of toxicity, honestly. Just downing survivors? Cool, I was already planning on it.
Then the survivors can stun me and rob my wallet? Cool!

I'd love a Shinichi cosmetic. Sadly I dont think a killer would work unless the Parasyte controls a non licensed Survivor as a skin
Imagine if you could spawn in using your favourite Survivor cosmetics because the Parasyte hijacked your survivors brain
I understand that being a Survivor would not work as a killer in terms of balance but in terms of being awesome I think the community would love it as long as that aspect is just an aesthetic gimmick and not meant to actually fool anybody

I loved it on Nemmy last year

Time to main monstrous shrine

I'll say Legion because that was the first one I ever saw, back when I didn't even know what a Dead By Daylight was. I thought by the name it was some ######### Day Z type game but the trailer looked neat.
Poor David :(

You could consider swapping Merciless Storm/Third Seal for Coul if you want to make healing skillchecks also extremely awful.
My favourite part about Coulrophobia is that it makes survivors extremely predictable; If somebody needs to die asap, you have a good idea where to look. Then the 50% slowdown kicks in to stop the last bit of progress.
-
Grim Embrace may as well reveal all survivors auras
-
yeah it seems like his kit naturally favours tunneling.
I personally enjoy dabbling with his Coulrophobia build which is already great for tunneling, but when you mix the two together you get a wonderful recipe of unpleasant gameplay.
I wouldn't be upset at losing the Killer Instinct on using the vaccine in exchange for maybe a few less cans or something.
-
you might have to adapt to your...meta, as much as I hate to say it. It's not realistic to carry entire teams like that so your only realistic option is to be a Jake and crouch with Iron Will as your friends around you suffer a grisly demise.
-
Noed is like....soooo last year

Funny enough he was more viable on console BEFORE his buffs. Those 44 knives are killer

Sadly, your experience is partly why new players dont stick around.

Pig gets hate because lots of bad people like Pig; Amanda's chasing trapped survivors isnt just a meme because the beeping is an indication saying "Tunnel me! Tunnel me!"
Luckily I think the average tunneller has moved on to Wesker
-
Looking at eyeballs likethis make me internally shrivel up
-
Honestly...what doesn't ruin Solo q?
-
Survivors are a mood for me.
If you see me as AoT Meg, then I'm playing selfishly and keeping to myself. If I am STARS Feng, then I'm playing to be a badass. If I am playing Lisa, then I am the team healer...or I just wanna run Balanced Landing etc.

Ghostface is the better stealth killer than Wraith, assuming the optimal condition of Perfectly stalk survivors->free grab->survivor gives up for getting downed in the first 30 seconds
In every other scenario Wraith is better imo. Ghostface is one of the strongest killers in the game in those first few seconds but it's crazy how hard he falls off. He has to go hard, and fast. Wraith too can play for the Stealth Killer alternate win condition too, but his Snarl+Bell holds that potential back compared to GF.
If GF doesn't get his optimal start, I'm more scared of a basekit Myers.

For me the sounds of Eyrie of Crows are worse, the sound of the ink in the sand is almost the same of a survivor healing.
Don't worry, I'm positive that the NEXT ink bloop is definitely a survivor! Oh, and that fire barrel on that one map is 100% a hex totem!

As somebody who experienced Breakdown "enjoyers" when Breakdown permanently broke hooks....this Flashbang change is nothing. It's a bone to those weird 5 people who play Leon. And a damn fine one might I add, I hope it stays.
Bring it on, I say.
-
meh, not really unique to Nemmy. I'd rather face a Nemmy than a Wraith that's for sure.
-
Twins is fun, I just wish I could be more HAM and viably use both Twins in a chase.
I know it's not how you're "supposed" to play them but I enjoy playing them as a Corralling killer like Clown who guides his victims to their grave. I love bodyblocking with Charlotte and using perks to give Charlotte "powers" such as Bamboozle but I guess that's just considered a waste of time by most people.

Usually at the start of a match, it will feel like Spirit starting to phase takes so long to start accelerating into a 176% movement speed killer. It felt awful. Swinging at the start of the match actually negated it though.
wow I never knew about this...geez mang.
I've done some testing today, both with weak addons and the better addons and my lord, it feels like my training weights have been lifted off! I've been feeling gaslit about Spirit for a long time now and honestly, I was sometimes getting some Impersonation syndrome with her kit because my muscle memory was telling me something was off.
Time to give the Warhammer Titan some love ^^
-
What exactly did this bug do? Something's felt off for me about Spirit for a while now and I've just told myself I suck.
-
what's wrong with being ugly?

You'd probably get along with that 500 "winstreak" Demo main.

I literally never thought about Call of Brine. Going to be trying that tomorrow.
If 3 gen is your thing it's kinda gross honestly. I've personally subbed out Discord Ants for Call of Brian and haven't really looked back.
On a map like Lerys you can really feel the zombie pressure as theyll hang around the 3 gen. Perfect for the War of Attrition when survivors stop fearing you and will gen tap the millisecond you go to the next gen
-
My old HAM build was Lethal BBQ NWO NOED. Lethal and BBQ create a nice gameplay loop which is honestly all ya really need for perks. NWO NOED was a nice fallback plan but you could probably replace that now
Lethal BBQ Agitation Starstruck is another old build that I love. Nemmy has an investment cost associated with his power so I treat Starstruck as a way to make up for lost time infecting Survivors.
-
I'm still rocking NOLB, Adrenaline, BT Guardian.
More often than not Guardian is my only perk but hoh boy... if we make it to the last gen then that's where the magic happens.
I like to think my actions inspire my teammates to perhaps pay it forward next match :)

IMO BHVR likes the Mori-Animations and they want that the players can see them more often. However, with current Moris this is not the case, because they are not as strong as they used to be (rightfully so).
Personally, I dont care about the animations at all and I dont think that the Finishing-Mori should be a thing.
Wouldn't only sluggers and bleeders be opposed to the final mori? I dont know a soul that actually enjoystryingto find slugged survivors who have crawled half way acrossthe map.
-
Cuz the original is a timeless classic. It would not be out of place to have a survivor chapter of Scoob
-
The fact is, if you wanna climb ya gotta play dirty. Not many ppl can 8 hook, never 3 gen, never tunnel never camp etc. And 4k consistently.
Just like how survivors cant be expected to just give up and let themselves die, you cant seriously expect a killer to not want to kill.
Now, if someone dcs at the start and you decide to slug 2 ppl so you can guarantee the 3k then yeah you deserve to be called out
-
You're seriously gonna call out AoT? It's just as valid as the God awful 80s cheese slashers.
-
OW2s cross progression is the only reason I touched that game. BHVR is crazy to keep sleeping on it because a lot of ppl wont open their wallets until they do.
-
That'sthe fun thing about Legion; you can run nearly anything! : D
I dont use much regression on Legion so the recent changes have only helped me
