I'd say it's because it's easier to shame someone to a point to prevent them from doing certain things instead of just adapting to things that are a part of the game.

As a hybrid player I'll happily answer you:
I had some chases where I had to use every braincell to down the survivor. As a feeling of accomplishment I smack em ONLY IF THEY WERE "TOXIC" FIRST. I won't smack a normal person, I'm not a monster.
Why do survivors teabag and stuff? Well, they have a sense of accomplishment. They feel that they did something, that they outsmarted and outskilled the killer.
Hope I answered your questions :3
Ok once again I completely understand Bming someone if they're Bming you even though I don't do it myself and that's cool that you respect people who are just playing in peace. As for tbagging as a sense of accomplishment I could kind of see it if they were able to give me a pretty good looping but that doesn't happen very often but doing it because they got another chance from hatch and happened to be the last person alive baffles me especially because I try to play as fair as possible.

It happens a lot, AT LEAST every other game. Thats why TUR was able to build a whole yt channel off it. It doesnt stop.
Oh yea believe me I know I used to play on ps4 and I'd get hate all the time. My ps4 broke though so now I play on Xbox and I actually get alot less hate mail than when I played on ps4 so that's nice.

A big reason to smack on hook is screaming. Survivors scream very loud when hooked, smacking them cancels it. I don't do it, but I'm assuming a lot of killers do.
Haha so kinda as a way to tell them to shut up. Yea some of the survivors have particularly annoying screams but I can't imagine anyone does it solely for that purpose.

Eh, I see it as all in fun. When i play survivor and get dmacked on hook i legit laugh every time, tbagging is just silly and doesnt bother me. The messages are the real problem.
Case on point, I just played a match as doc. Ot was really close, i think the last gen was at like 98% when the 4th person took hatch. So i sent each of them messages saying ggwp. Tge 3 I killed didnt respond. This is the message I got from the chick who got hatch

Just seems unnecessary and this is the real problem. Tbagging, flashliggt clicks, all that stuff in game is whatever. But almost every game I get something similar to this when I play killer. Ive gotten messsges from killers too but its so rare its not even worth mentioning.
Yea Bming in game is one thing and can be passed off as banter depending on who you ask but going out of your way to message someone with hate after a game is over with is just plain sad and I have no respect for people who do that.

I smack on the hook if a survivor is trying to be cocky and annoy me but fails
I teabag if a killer fails to tunnel me or shakes their head.
It’s fair trade so I don’t see a problem with that, I don’t do it all the time though because I hate people who try to be toxic every game for no reason.
Yea I completely understand being toxic back to toxic people but I typically won't because I don't like the idea of if getting to me. It'd be nice if me and similar people could in return not receive such toxicity but sadly that's not the case but yea fighting toxic with toxic is completely understandable and some people deserve it honestly.

Sometimes its just fun to give a little smack, sometimes if youre annoying you get a few. Like yesterday I had a Jake that kept spamming in and out of a locker cause he wanted to use his head on, unfortunately for him his timing was bad so i kept yanking him out of lockers. He got smacked a lot.
When I play survivor I tbag to goad the killer into chasing me when i havent been hooked yet and others have.
Understandable I play against survivors like that all the time but no matter how much they try to annoy me I won't bm back because I feel like if I do that it just means I let it get to me. And as for tbagging to get the killer off of your teammates I can understand that as well and efficient killers will usually ignore it and try to secure their kill if they know that person is on death hook but I suppose in this sense it can be a valid, yet frowned upon by some, strategy kinda like hook camping.

I'll smack people just because I'm bored or if your the last one I'm hooking just to fill time.
Ok I can see that as I know a few people who also do that. Particularly huntress players who will kinda practice their aim on the last hooked person as they die

If i get killed by a good killer or I go against some really good loopers I usually give them props if I'm in the mood but otherwise I'll just move onto the next match.

Plunderer's. I just love running around like a pirate searching for treasure.

Console Nurse main here. Some fair changes I'd like to see for her in addition to bug fixes would be to slightly decrease the blink recharge time and nerf the add-ons that decrease charge time to compensate in order to make them less necessary on certain maps. Currently fragile wheeze decreases recharge time by .9 seconds and the dark cincture addon decreases it by .6 seconds. By default I'd decrease the recharge time by .5 seconds and nerf the fragile wheeze from .9 to .6 less recovery and the dark cincture from .6 to .4 . This will make the add-ons feel less necessary to run especially on maps like lerys where survivors are constantly losing LOS. I'd also increase the default chain blink window time by .15 seconds and if that is enough then I'd revert the change where she becomes visible to the survivors just before ending her blink.

I personally would like for his chainsaw to work like Billy's where it automatically goes off once you fully charge it. It's very annoying when you 99 the chainsaw and let go just to cancel it.
-
I personally listen to alot of different metal throughout all the many subgenres but if I had to pick a favorite band it'd be Slipknot.
-
All the changes sound good but I think your idea for wake up would be a bit redundant if more than one person were to run it since everyone gains all of its benefits for one person using it.

Kindred and Spine Chill, then an exhaustion perk, then whatever you want (BT, DS, Adrenaline, etc are good picks)
With a combination of perks in that vein, you're given all the information you could need as a solo survivor. As a bonus, Kindred will help the others (hopefully) not be dumb while you're on the hook. Other than that, if people look like theyre losing chases quickly, get chased on purpose so you can buy time and lead the killer away. If you're good and pallets havent been wasted yet, you should clearly be able to buy more time and use them more efficiently. Playing solo survivor isn't about sticking to one aspect of the game that you feel like doing, its about assessing the strengths and weaknesses of other survivors and covering those weaknesses to reduce the killer's efficiency.
That said, you WILL have bad games. there will always be people who sandbag or are playing inebriated or you might get facecamped or whatever. All you can do is do your best and wash off the rest :)
Yea I'm aware I'll have bad games but sometimes I wish I'd just get teammates of the same caliber as the ones I face. Now that I think about it though maybe that might be my problem; putting too much faith in randoms :p

Mid 2019 when I managed to get nurse down on ps4 and climb all the way to red ranks for my first time.

I like the idea but the problem is that once you down someone your Nightshroud turns off so you can't actually Stalk them even if it allowed you too. Unless of course it just let you use the Stalk button for those 4 seconds but I doubt that would be strong because Stalk is slower when not leaning and the time it would take you to find somewhere to lean and someone to Stalk would probably take those 4 seconds.
What if when you downed someone with your Stalk, anyone outside your TR gets half of their Stalk meter filled up? This way you could use it BBQ and then find those people and then just finish the job, if done right it could create a massive snowball. You can down 1 person and 2 people have half their meter filled, down another and then those 2 people have their other half filled up 99% so you can literally just walk up to them BAM.
Hm yea I forgot that attacking turns off night shroud but I like your idea more. It might actually make furtive chase be worth using since your TR would be smaller when you end the chase so if you had 4 tokens, anyone 16 meters+ away from you would receive the stalk buildup.
