Teabagging is NOT different in DBD from other games. Teabagging is a way to bully and humiliate a person in games, so its just as bad as bullying people in real life. Everyone knows that. It's disrespectful, there is no other opinion about that. Maybe survivor can use to each other for communication, but against the opponent is a way to provoke and then to bully and humiliate him. This is its meaning. And this is bad. Teabagging is ban worthy. Devs usually dont ban people for teabagging because they feel they cant ban someone for "crouching", sometimes (sadly) they endorse these kind of behavior. Which is a bad thing.

You literally cannot teabag in dbd, because teabagging is crouching on top of the opponent's dead body, first of all. Also, people need to stop being triggered by crap like this, it is pathetic. I don't always use crouching to humiliate, and most of the time I don't. I use it in ways described in the post. But if you're triggered by a survivor pressing the crouch button repeatedly, maybe you need to go play some Civ 5.

Knowing the person doing it is doing it to purposely be an ######### =/= being triggered. I don't understand how being aware of someone's intended affect suddenly means it worked. If you teabag, I know you are being toxic and trying to piss me off or goad me into a chase. I will either ignore you completely and go find the people you are trying to protect, or down you and kill you like usual. But let's not pretend that the point of teabagging at the exit gate or behind a pallet isn't to try to piss the killer off or disrespect them in some way. Whether it works or not is irrelevant.

I'mma bust in here and say you've literally just put words in his post.
He did not say knowing if the intent is foul is synonym to the teabag receiver being triggered.
He did not say that knowing someone's intended effect of teabagging means it worked
and nobody here EVER implied that there is no such thing as rude people teabagging by the exit gates or behind palettes to be rude.
The point of this thread is for teabaggers to admit that they are not always doing it to be rude, because I and likely everyone else here has seen how serious some killer players will take it because they think it's just rude no ifs, ands, or buts. Also, some people are admitting that even if they don't want to teabag and come off like jerks, they have to do it in attempt (and lets read the word attempt and not take things out of context again) to protect their teammates.
Nobody is saying it's wrong to camp, tunnel or chase teabaggers, it's just explaining that some survivors don't always mean to show disrespect to the killers when it's done. And the killer doesnt need to let it get to them and ruin the experience whether it seems rude or not. Which sadly is something that a lot of killers condone on these forums; taking time out of your play to camp and tunnel and lose points over a tbag and be triggered.

Also, sometimes I teabag by an exit gate so the killer can take a free hit or two, so that's not always toxic like your first post implied. Glad you looked in here though because you're precisely the kind of player me and others in here wanted to share this with.

  • I played a game where i couldnt hear huntress’s hertbeat ever, only her humming and she spent 3.5 gens chasing me before giving up. She was always around me though I think she heard my breathing or had bitter murmer

  • Swf finding lobbies is a nightmare for even 2 swf on ps4. Solo its far better

I agree that the emblem system is flawed for survivors and don't represent the skill and value a survivor brings to the game. If you are the gen jokey you miss out on chasing, unhooking and healing/altruism points, but you probably won the match for your team. Same goes for a good looper. If you manage to occupy a killer for long enough, so your teammates can 3-5 gens done you get punished for sitting on the hook. And those altruism points are cancer! They are the reason why some survivors tend to hook farm, swarm hooks and stupidity bodyblock. As a killer I laugh my ass off, but when playing survivor it is just frustrating.
And the emblem system only gives you less points the better you play!
You are stealthy, gen doing and not getting hit and let others not get hit...you end up with less points...

Thanks for reminding me to stop leveling up my david for Dead Hard and just continue leveling up my killers to get more points sooner. OOOHHH CANNNIIIBALLLLL, BBQ and Chili please~!

  • For some reason my last post didnt come through.

Long story short, I said that this game is highly toxic with players, toxcitiy is encouraged by youtubers and streamers
and I know streamers who sexually harassed and cyber bullied, as well as faked swf with a 14 year old girl on this game for rejecting one of their advances and now she can't play this game without her father in a swf with her.
Lobby dodging should not be punishable.

I also said your thinking isnt as charismatic or persuasive as you attempted to be with your vocabulary and sentence structures. Don't try to disguise self-serving, attention-seeking useless ideas with it. Nobody falls for it, ever. Think about the real problems this game has because it is NOT lobby dodging.

  • Simply put: Your idea is stupid. And your thinking doesn't sound nearly as charismatic and persuasive as you think it does because of your vocabulary and sentence structures.
First of all, nobody should be forced to play with someone they dislike. If you have been around the forums, then you would know how easy it is for people in this game to sabotage one another and tick each other off over the pettiest things.
YOU WOULD ALSO KNOW that there are streamer/player groups who ENCOURAGE toxic behavior and harassment of other players they didn't like.
Lastly, I have a friended player on this game who is a 14 year old girl that experienced sexual harassment and cyber bullying on Dead By Daylight because a female dbd streamer's fiance tried flirting and seducing this girl he knew was underage, got rejected, then started using his and his fiance's streams to join her games as SWF and sabatoge her for lols and turn people against her by lying about her. It got so bad that now this girl is not allowed to play on Dead By Daylight without her father being a SWF with her.

  • LOL well if she wouldve DCd for a little unfortunate mistake like that she wouldve DC'd over anything. Don't feel bad.

When I am one of the 2 survivors left and my teammate is injured, I fail the skillcheck on purporse when healing them, so the killer finds us and down them. Then I try to get the hatch. Is that something that bothers you?   ;)

Hmmmmm......I think it's one of those things where it would bother me if the person who did that to me had not helped with gens and was one of those buttholes crouching and walking around everywhere. Hiding from the killer, not doing crap. But if the person who did it was actually helping to make progress then it's like "Ah, I see you. I see what chu doin" and I'll struggle on the hook to give them time to find the hatch rather than just not struggle if it were a useless teammate. But regardless of what kind of teammate they are, if someone I suspect is a meanie busts a skillcheck on me, I'm following them anywhere they go and doing loud vaults (or palette drops if we are the last 2) anywhere I can till we're found and the killer takes who they take

    Ardetha (I think that's how it's spelt)

He has actual coaching videos where people submit game footage and he goes over it and reviews it.

    Ohtofu does the same thing.
I used 3 videos, one by ohtofu, one by theking (I think he's called), and one by TydeTime all of them about palettes and loops and though those vids DID NOT help me actually do looping, they helped me be able to eyeball good palettes and loops from bad ones whereas before those I couldnt tell a good one from a bad one I just knew that there were good ones and bad ones. Ultimately my skill in actual chasing comes from my first post on this thread.

  • I wouldn't do it so late in the game, but I have rage-gaveuponthehook at a highly selfish team where I protected one of them when we were found at a gen at the very start and the killer was going for her because I stood in one place like a dope to let her run in front of me since she was behind. And then the other player was being a stealthy claudette hiding in a stupid spot, got found and I literally just finished healing myself from the last chase, ran to try and take a chase away from her, succeeded, the 4th person finished a gen, the person I got caught on the gen with finished our gen (Which I got hooked next to) and then the killer supposed they would come to rescue me since one generator was done right next to me so came to guard and make sure they don't try it.
Thats fine, that's cool. Don't save me in front of the killer, smart.
But I noticed that the claudette and the Meg I had helped knew exactly what other gen far on the other side of the map the 4th person was on and both of them went straight there and continued to gen rush with him far away from my hook without so much as checking to see if the killer is still camping. I got to 2nd phase and eventually very very close to death on 1st hook while they continued to ignore me. So I gave up and let myself be sacraficed, then went to spectate and help the killer obliterate them. Some people would ragequit and I get why, but imo if you're going to "rage quit", do it if the killer is doing suspect stuff that breaks the game not if your teammate is unfair.
That kate gave claudette the hatch, lost her points, and made you lose your earned points. Like what?

  • I play on ps4 too!
Tunneling and camping is just part of the killer's play. If you get floored immediately after touching the ground again, your teammate screwed up for taking you out with the killer nearby. If you get tunneled then the killer is just desperate for a quick kill and it is what it is.

Especially after the recent rank reset I've been seeing farrrr more camping killers on ps4 so I'm just waiting to see if it calms down since this is my first rank reset. Or maybe its just common on lower ranks, I was boosted too high from the bp farming so the rank reset dropped me back down close to where I really was skillwise and now I can't rank up or down because of tunneling and camping and lag switching, and laggy killers taking advantage of people with their lagdom, and a bit of bad luck or bad play on my end as well.

Dear pig players on ps4, I am always the first one found in your scary games. Please stop camping and tunneling me with a mask on, I will massage your ears and brush your hair if you tbag hi at me and we can be best buddies

    Yeah ok

If used properly, camping can work. The Cannibal in that comic is a dumb*ss who camped at the wrong time.

There is no "If used properly" It's "If the teammates are dumb enough to keep attemping aultristic action". That's why that meme is hysterical because it paints a picture of what happens if the team isn't dumb enough to impulsively try saving each other.
I'd rather my team survive than try to save me from camping because I'll be laughing at the end of the game that a killer did camp me first and foremost, and my team got out. I'd laugh even harder when I'm running killers a round for 3 or 4 gens and then they camp me when there's 1-2 more to go and my team makes it out the game without ever facing the killer. So everyone is laughing and that's a good thing <3

  • Yeah these totem spawns are hilariously sad sometimes. I play survivor mainly and I cry (through my laughter) at how sometimes I will see a totem spawn right next to a hook or right in front of a generator. I had a game with a hag that hooked me literally a point gesture away from her hex totem and I ASSUME she just didnt want to come off as toxic and didnt camp me but she did lay down traps in front of me and none in front of her totem right next to me. Guess what my team did first?

I also saw totems spawn on opposite sides of the same rock or on different rocks next to each other but one totem was on the left side if its rock and the other totem was on the right side of its rock. Idk man, I wish for these totem spawns to get better before I am done levelling up my killers and switching to the dark main side.

  • I think with all killer reading Perks they can be unintentionally countered by the killer maybe except for object of obsession. I like alert because I can probably guess if the killer is in a chase or looking for someone depending on what kind of motion he makes after breaking the palette. And that's as reliable as seeing someone get injured. I dont think any killer reading auras are great for genrushing unless you know where the undone gens are, they're just good for being stealthy imo.

Tbagging is different in dbd than to most other games. And in gaming, almost if not every game where tbagging is NOT one of your few only choices of communication in-game, those are the ones where it's always considered toxic. We don't communicate with the killers so we have to use our two gestures, putting down and picking up actions, and crouch spamming.
If I were a killer and a survivor was crouch spamming me while very noticeably running me away from a specific area where I had caught them with other people. I wouldn't think they're being toxic first and foremost, I'd think they're protecting people and I'd run back that-a-way which I came just to check if people are sneaking back, or hiding around. Which, many times they are.
If I'm playing a killer and bodyblock someone then just stare at them and make stupid random movements to obviously express that I'm laughing at them or being dramatically over top with my kill for whatever reason. The survivor may spam crouch and I can take that as either insults or "take me already, I goof'd up" or "Please killer, let me live, I'm sorry". So I can try to have a hopefully better guess on which they mean by whether they follow up with a point, an item drop offering, or a 'come on' gesture, if they crouch and look up at me or nod at me, or if they try to make stupid movements too in the corner.

If I were a survivor and a piggy floored me then crouch spammed me, it's FARRRR more obvious what that means. Piggy has no reasons to spam crouch me other than when they're being non-benevolent and making lols like when they're greeting you at a gen and pretending to do it for example; or when they want to taunt someone.
So basically, its far more easy to tell if tbagging is toxic in this game depending on the circumstances.
For survivors, we all know spamming it at the exit gate is usually if not always meant to be toxic, but you could say the same about pointing by the gate and using the come on gesture by the gate in that case. Dbd is just probably lacking some clearer gestures for some people I suppose.

I am sorry but I have to disagree. Tbagging is tbagging, is tbagging....DBD is not under some special rule-set that changes a wide known toxic gesture into a positive gesture. The fact you have gave me multiple examples of what tbagging means to YOU, proves that you do not even know for sure what it means in this community. But what the community does know, is that in gaming terms, 99% of the time someone Tbags to disrespect. If you genuinely believe that you tbag not to be offensive then, cool, go on you for being different. But to the average Joe, if they see a tbag, they wont know of DBD special rule-set, you seem to believe in, and considering it toxic. I repeat my point, DBD is a game and in every community I have been apart of, or I am aware of, tbagging is negative.

I didn't say that's what teabagging means to me, I said that's how it can be used in dbd, and if you read through more threads on the topic you will see more players admitting to using tbagging for reasons other than disrespect. You going all "gamer elitist teabagging has a specific definition and deadbydaylight is not a special exemption" in a casual, non-fps game and say that there's a chance 9/10 players mean it to be toxic makes no sense to me because I don't say it's never not toxic while that's precisely what you say. At the end of the day, in any video game you play, teabagging is another gesture and dbd just has more uses for it since we don't have mic chat in-game. I understand why you disagree though because of how you are a dead on believer that no matter what the game is, tbagging has 1 use only because of the definition. But just in case this needs to be said, I hope you don't let it ruin games for you. Nice talking with you Killigma.

  • @Killigma said:
Tbagging is always going to be toxic, regardless of how you dress it up, because it is known in gaming as a negative action. You can try and justify why you use it, but you are one person. You might not mean it in a toxic manner, but 9/10 Survivors might.
Saying this, I do agree that the term toxic gets thrown around all to easy. Doing gens, toxic. Killing first hooked Survivor, toxic. Using perks, toxic. Using add ons and items, toxic. Unfortunately this community is the only real toxic thing in this game, so you can either roll with the punches and get over other peoples options on toxicities or stay away from the community for your own good.

why are people so whiny. literally it's the crouch button, if you actually get mad at that (and especially go out of your way to ruin their game in another match) you are extremely sad, you are playing a video game. lighten up, get your bloodpoints and move on. turn the chat off if you don't want to listen to end game chat. and also people saying crap like "how can you defend survivors" you sound like a neckbearded redditor crying bc you got beat. IT'S A VIDEO GAME. grow up and learn to have some thick skin, you're on the internet.

Let's take an example at the extreme, and maybe that will make the point. If you follow tru3ta1ent's stream, it won't take long to notice there is a particular player who always stream snipes him. Okay, that's not a huge deal, except the other guy finds tru3 in the match, and sets off every noise notification he can, in order to get the killer to focus on tru3.

Once he's done that, he'll do other things, like farming tru3 off the hook, or using healing to prevent him running away, or anything he can do to get tru3 killed and ruin his game.

After the match, the other player will offer insults and even death threats against tru3 in the post-match chat. I have no idea how many times tru3, who the Devs like enough that they've added multiple cosmetics to the game for him, has reported the guy, but it's been plenty of times over enough time that something should have been done. And yet, nothing has.

From your point of view, tru3 should grow a thicker skin and accept this sort of toxicity as just another game on the internet. On the other hand, I believe the guy either needs serious mental help, or a firm ass kicking. And if, by some random twist of fate, tru3 had the chance to take some small revenge against the guy in-game, I wouldn't blame him in the least, or call it "extremely sad."

It may be on a smaller scale, but the toxic comments I see in game come from the same state of mind. If it's butthurt people who can't stand dying, or even the disgusting sexual remarks I've seen directed at women, it's those comments and actions that are the problem, not the people who are sick of seeing it.

Where as you condone that, I have to disagree.

We all have the option to DC from a game if we dislike people harassing us. Tru3 has every right to DC from a game if it happens to him, but he has his reasons why he wouldn't. Maybe he doesnt want people calling him a quitter, maybe he wants to prove how toxic the community is, maybe he hopes people can identify those who harass him, whatever the case is. You don't have to engage with trolls in this game and it's just a freaking crouch button. You're trying to make this whole deep emotional reach with people who disagree that toxicity is in the spamming of a crouch button towards a killer by using the example of a survivor being a jackass to tru3 playing as a survivor and this is why we say that this community is whiny and dramatic.

  • Ohtofu and many many others have great videos on understanding how loops and palettes and perks work. What's bad and what's good way to chase. But ultimately I learned when my rank 1 survivor/rank 1 killer-main friend just threw me into Kill Your Friends, knocked me down, shouldered me and pretended he was a survivor and how he would play if a killer was after him. I'm still not as good as him but that totally brought me from like 0% surivovr chase threat to 50% and I just need more experience to get better. I only startd this game mid december. If you have any friends who are great at chasing in this game ask them to do that for you.

Definitely, sometimes I just go to a generator and keep hitting it and then survivors come up and start doing that generator while I'm still hitting it and then we all skip away to the next one lmfao. If I do d/c as a killer its because the survivors are trying to mine salt out of me and since I'm immune to teabagging and unbalanced swf knowing all the loops and counterplay, I just take it as them dragging my game out for too long and give them 10 minutes from the time I give up to finish the level before I dc for wasting my time. > @ToxicAddiction said:

Well, there's Irl stuff, that's justified
There's swf refusing to do their last gen because they want to spend an hour taunting you into chasing them after you gave up to let them do the gen and leave which was my experience and why now I would D/C if I see a team about to win and they stop to just taunt. I'd rather they stay in game to farm and search chests than freaking try to start chases and run circles around me after the exit gates are open. Its a waste of time and I don't find it fun since I dont know the purpose.

Edit: by taunt i dont mean teabag by thee exit gate, I mean purposely run around the map loudvaulting, hiding in lockers until 3 crows are making notifications, just trying to make me chase them after the gates are open and they can leave for no reason other than watching me look for them for lols. Its literally dragging the game out.

  • I had to farm with my killer friend to get points for perks. It took insanely long, thank goodness I started the game during a double bp event. I don't even have a devotion 1 yet and I would rather use shards to buy costumes than money. Practically costs 10usd for one whole outfit and they focus more on claudette and nea since they're probably the most popular.

  • Sorry but imagine the amount of actual toxic survivors that would try to message the killer like "hey man lets farm"

  • I'm a low rank killer, but thats because I main survivor atm to get a better idea on how they play so I can switch over to killer main side. So far I play as the spirit mostly since thats the best killer I have to deal with rank 12s and up somehow ending up in my lobbies with their swf all dressed alike and dragging my games out for ages if I use most other killers. Plus I like the booty on my main menu. But anyway.
Something I've been doing recently since I think about this when I play as a survivor is, I check out the way the gens are lad out and I determine which gens I want to patrol at the start so that I can push them to that side of the map later on in the game. I will engage in chases as to not waste time, but I try to don't let any survivors do gens in an order that will be a disadvantage to the specific killer I'm playing as. I did a kill your friends with a rank 2 killer the other day playing as survivor and with 2 other people on his team and they couldnt find my totem, nor could they avoid my line of sight especially since I was playing as spirit.
This strategy only works good if you understand the maps, get a decent map and regular stuff like you being good at chases and looking for hiding survivors though and since I am still new to the game, I don't have a lot of luck knowing where's the best loops, how close are they to generators, where to survivors usually spawn in how close is it to the gens or my totems, etc.

At the end of the day, how good you are as a killer and what killer you play as will affect any anti--gen strategies you use and so will map knowledge and maybe maps themselves. Survivors mistakes are what you need to be patient for too. I usually get 4ks or DCs in my games but I rarely use a killer other than spirit for fun and countering SWFs that are too unbalanced skillwise and cannibal for bbq points if I'm lucky for chill games.

I'm still wondering why a survivor will cry about face camping or any camping when a group can be at an exit taunting the killer and then running out.

    ya know what I'm say'in?

For the same reason why some killers complain about all teabagging being toxic. They just get their feelings hurt because they feel inadequate imo. But facecamping is yet another tool in the game. Not "Toxic" if you ask me. Because it lures salty survivors over to the killer sometimes. Sometimes facecamping just helps everyone else or some other people escape too because they know the killer won't move. There are even survivors who will even pretend to gesture for help on the hook when they see their friends nearby and it's another communication like "screw off, I'm being camped" because they will keep doing it the more you approach then when you walk away they stop doing it.

The word "Toxic" is thrown around incorrectly too much here if you ask me.

I forgot to mention that sometimes we can even do teabag apologies at the killer. Imagine a survivor breaks your hex totem, then you come and stare at them like "Really?", they know they have no where to run so they will face you and teabag and or drop an item to save their scadoodle.

  • Forums need to be moderated to stop people from making these pointless drama-starting topics. This is why the forums are more toxic than the actual game.

  • @Zarathos said: The dbd meta has always been the chase. Never ever stealth or evasion. Nurse is the only force right now that promotes losing the killer and stealth. We need more killers like legion. A threat that rewards us for being evasive and punishes players for only understanding looping mechanics with no knowledge of evasion tactics or controlling the trail of your scratch marks.

I agree with you for the most part on all that, I hate facing a good Leigon as a survivor main, but at the same time, I LOVE how Spirit and Legion forces survivors to think smarter and be on high alert when you're in big groups or someone gets hooked. I personally get immersed in it. If your team can force Legion to spend more time looking around, gen patrolling (if I can control it, I try to make my team do gens in a specific order or I do my gens based on how they do it), or camping (assuming they ever do). Then you'll be fine. I think survivors will feel better when they realize that they need to break out of old habits. I only started playing this game during the december 2018 double bp event and thankfully so because I'm still learning this game as it's changing.

Depends on my mood and the survivor in question. If it´s a survivor who did a lot during the game I´ll let the killer hook me to save him/her and kill myself on hook so everyone else gets out. If the survivor was one of those "urban invasions" who appear to be glued to their crouch button I´ll open the gate and not even think a second before leaving.

This. I get super put off when they do that and camp in corners of jungle gyms or against the walls in the very edges of the map. I would let them die. Just yesterday I spectated a claudette (quit out the game because the killer was obviously lag switching and spectated to watch a Nea who was obviously too skilled in dealing with lag switches to learn something) who stayed the whole game crouch walking around the edge of the map and literally 10 minutes in of the killer (Who was a lag switching wraith using bloodhound and sloppy) desperately switching to catch Nea and the person she was protecting; this flipping claudette was still crouch walking around the edges of the map and didnt do a thing till I sent her a message telling her to do a generator because the whole time he's been busy trying to catch the other 2. The worst part is that there was only 2 gens left the whole 10 minutes he was chasing them; and had that claudette just did generators they wouldve lived. Those crouch lovers for me are worse than a skilled Leigon with FMT or a myers who can mori without hooks. KILL THEM FIRST

5000 BP for Survived the Trial is more than the roughly 1000-1500 or so I might get for the Assist, Unhook, Safe Hook Rescue, and Distraction points I'd get for unhooking another survivor and taking the hit for them so they could escape. This is a no brainer.

    Hmmm. I may reconsider.

Let me get this right... So the counter against Legion is to make someone a sacrificial goat while the other 3 survivors gen rush?

Not really, I mean this is how my games with good leigons go:
Someone gets hooked, if we are smart we know to not all try to help them at once.
Leigon walks off looking for someone else, finds someone else, hits them up 1-2 times, sometimes floors them, leaves to check on who's being saved
Usually the other 2 people are trying to save/heal the person unhooked and end up getting smacked up thus wasting time
    Person unhooked gets hooked
    Someone else gets hooked
Everyone is injured and not doing gens

Against a leigon even something like Kindred would be useless if your team doesnt have their wits about. Usually if I play in a Sw1f match against a good leigon we end up being the last 2 dead and giving each other the hatch or just dying. It's hard to play with randoms against a good leigon and I assume that one of those swf types who uses Borrowed Time, Instaheals, Selfcare, DS all that stuff my team wouldn't use all at once would be difficult for me to play with too since they're overly altruistic

  • I'm on ps4, I rarely get dodged (I assume that means the killer quits hosting the game if they think the survivors are high risk) and I rarely see moris. And I rarely play swf, when I do I rarely have more than 1 friend with me for it. Sometimes loading does take forever even with only 1 other friend with me and dodging would suck but, just keep yourself busy irl? Clean or organize something, get some snacks, keep yourself entertained and if you get dodged, do it again.

  • I'm glad my anyways offended you, that's precisely what I wanted, but anyways (again),
you're still making Phd thesis' to make a point that doesn't exist, you're arguing your assumption that OP needs "easier" targets and not people of his skill level like he said. You're turning this whole discussion now about how the ranking system is fine rather than staying on the real topic because you want to talk trash. Now with that being said, you can throw me more salt diamonds and I really don't care for it because I'm not going to help you throw this thread out of topic.

Is there anyone else struggling with the fact that ranking is too easy? Is there even a way to go down in ranks that's not just standing around AFK-ing? I'm a pretty casual player and I just started playing after about 7 months of being away--now I keep double-pipping after matches as a survivor and pipping as a killer, even though I barely get more than one sacrifice?

I'd really love to play with/against people who are my actual skill level, not people who can run circles around me? Any advice other than git gud?

    haha nice...

"Is there a way to go down in ranks"....

"I'm a pretty casual player".... "now I keep double-pipping after matches as a survivor and pipping as a killer, even though I barely get more then one sacrifice"....

    Then this....

"I'd really love to play with / against people who are my actual skill level"...

So?.... Are you pipping or not pipping?... Cause from what I know... If you are better then the people you are playing, you'll usually rank up... So... What is the issue?.. Not playing against the EASIER opponents... AHH.... nice.. forgot.. Deranking to face easier opponents... GGs

Sure it is easy to rank up.. but if you were playing against people that are better or same skill... then wouldn't you just rank up on average and not "i keep double-pipping... etc..." ??

So play at higher ranks where you'd play against more skilled players... or play in the lower rank with lower skilled players.... Makes no sense to say you find it easy to pip up and then complain about not playing against people your own skill level...

This must be a troll or bait post.

He barely gets more than 1 sacrifice and is still pipping, you're making a whole antagonizing statement trying to prove a point that doesn't exist, calm down. Last I checked, 1 sacrifice isn't gg for the killer point and skill wise.

    Anyway,
OP, I understand your issue, but no matter what you do you will always get survivors who depipped to join low rank games (even if they are above those ranks skill-wise) running circles around you so just take your pips and play the game. If you have skilled friends who can teach you the ways of being a decent killer/survivor then ask them to help you get better.

  • I use Dwight simply because I have more perks on him but my ideal survivor hasn't come out yet. I'll use anyone depending on what I feel like looking at.

I want to know more about the character that you created. She seems really interesting. Is that your drawing at the bottom?

Yes I was painting/designing that. She is almost halfway done but I havent been working on her for a few weeks or months and decided to just show her face rather the whole finished and unfinished parts. The story for her was basically she is a wanderlust homeless girl who lives in her car. Her outfits are inspired by diesel punk, "normcore", california beach coast/casual surfer wear and bohemian style. She is supposed to be a university student but at the moment she is in love with just driving around to interesting places and public events, making some quick money by selling accessories she makes with things she picks up from places she's been or doing small gig work she gets online from her cellphone, and just running away from her responsibilities like going to University. I suppose something tragic happened to her that caused her to run away but, I'd rather people who are interested decide if that's truth or fact. I don't think I named her yet because she was originally supposed to be a Nea-dressed Claudette then I got carried away.

there was definitely a hatch. You just never found it. Just another person who got mad at me for literally just playing the game.

I've heard from some friends that for a time the hatch could ocassionally glitch out and spawn outside of the map. But my opinion on the hatch has always been the same:

Imagine being upset because your allies did poorly and you didn't get a free escape because of it.

That would make sense if that glitch had happened. But I agree 😆 hatch escape pisses me off. I’ll see survivors purposely stop fixing gens after getting 2 done because they know if everyone else dies and the live then they can just escape.

If I give up on struggling or don't do the struggle at all, it's because I see someone immediately looking for the hatch after avoiding to save 1-2 other people while I've or someone else has been running the killer around. I don't like players who survive by hiding from the bunch the whole entire game because they ruin it. People like that play as if the game was messed up from the start and then a bunch of perfectly fine people get hurt and tunnelled being good sports while they just hide place to place and only do gens when they're sure someone else is being chased when they couldve been done with the last 2 gens on their own while people have been healing themselves and hiding. Time-wasting wannabe elitists.

  • This is why leader and prove thyself are about to get buffed. Because a good leigon has no real counterplay. A bad leigon on the other hand is a hilarious joke and you can heal right next to him and be ignored because hes busy testing some idea of bringing everyone to deep wound/injured.
I refuse to disconnect on purpose against good leigons though because how else will we discover counter play besides playing against it? At the moment our only savior is hoping that he isn't good at finding people who are hiding and he plays like one of those funny leigons who try to kill the whole team at once. Put you on deep wound then walk away hit someone else, walk away hit someone else expecting to floor them as a grand finale all like he's trying to cook pancakes; pour the batter, wait a bit, flip it.

  • Woah brother. Pig is one of the few killers in this game that make me crap myself.
I literally have never played a pig game where her Jigsaw boxes spawned

literally two feet away from each other

I would love to get a map where that happens because I would teabag the life out of that map and fart my grateful survivor essence all over it.

I think that survivors being able to leave through the hatch with the trap is fair some maps it's a lot harder to find than others and the clock is ticking for you to find your only way out. I'd be more mad at the map I got than the fact the survivor left with the trap on.

I dunno about the timer thing, I thought it just pauses if the survivor is hooked.

  • This community doesn't teach us to be scared of hag, plus the way she runs from a distance is hilarious, and especially if you see her place a trap then run right past you as if she didn't notice you, that's a side cracker. I have played against a good A hag other day who was gen gaurding like a champ. She basically pushed us to do the side that hardly had any gens and patrolled over the last few. I am too noob to think of how to counter that and so were my teammates. Rank reset is something else.

  • I didnt think it was possible to depip past rank 15. I tried it because I just started this game during the Winter 2018 event and accidentally pipped to rank 7 as survivor. Then tried to depip back to 20 and it just wasn't happening when I hit 15.
Congrats, I'm a survivor main currently, but I've seen tons of gameplay and had a few swf games as survivor or killer where it was just flashlights, instaheals, dead hards and freaking teabagging. Makes me feel bad for the killer sometimes if I see a killer with 0 hooks or kills at the very end and they seem to give up on life after a game full of mistakes or toxic survivors and walk away I'll just let them kill me or try to farm me with a teammate till I make them kill me.

  • Depends on how good #1 is. Like if I get the feeling they are doing it because they are really good at chases, probably even chose the map then I'll kill everyone else even if they live. If #1 thinks they're better than they really are then I don't mind camping and tunnelling just so I can lol about their delusion-bred ego and hopefully get a good hate message.

  • Over altruistic one, I like to pretend that the toxic one is protecting the other one and will get mad if I kill the altruistic. Sometimes that has happened where the toxic one will keep trying to get my attention making noise cues while I'm chasing the altruistic one instead of just buzzing off and helping with gens like they care about life.

  • The pig scares the life out of me, especially when she does that weird growl roar thing while I'm on a generator and I confused her for a teammate crouching near me because my vision is crap and I'm like "Hey wassup bro" then hear a GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I only rage(NotReally)quit if I am almost 100% sure the killer is farming or glitching me with a survivor in game. I don't want to reward them for spending ages trying to join each other in the same lobby and succeed at farming the 3 randoms and each other. I don't see how opening a locker is sandbagging....some people just need an excuse to ragequit lol

I don't really d/c, regardless, though I haven't been held captive in game before. I had someome lagswitch and kill everyone at end game. xD It was real weird as he didn't do anything like that for the rest of the game.

To me that sounds like the killer ragequit except he wanted points for ragequitting lmao

  • It's happened to me before, seems like people who want to lul and farm do that. I dunno why people would do that because there's 2 roles I usually play in a group: Gen Rusher or Chase Decoy who usually ends up being camped, tunneled and camped again. Either way I'm contributing to the team as best as I can in that game so I can't see why people would do that to me out of spite.
I tend to get in games with randoms who are super slow and stealthy or swf who would rather run the killer into me so they can genrush and plunder through chests together. So I hate being a survivor with randoms though that's how I play this game a good 70% of the time as survivor. If I do play this game swf, I usually have only 1 friend and it's just as toxic for us if we end up in a game with another group of 2 swf because they tend to not be team players and want us to be scapegoats and most of my 2swf+2swf games end up with my friend and I chasing the life out of a killer, the other swf ignoring us and doing gens while crouching around as if it isnt obvious by our constantly moving state icon that the killer is too busy for them to be crouching around and then freaking one or both of us dying by being camped or unable to save each other and the other people still ignoring us to finish gens and do gates. My friends are killer mains too so it puts them off from swf with me.

but yeah, I think people not trying to help each other off the hook to genrush the final gens and leave is more common than snitching. Or maybe its just on PS4

  • I was like that, then I got decent at being in chases as a survivor and chasing people my rank as a killer with all my killers less than Level 5. Now I complain about how the maps are imbalanced for killers and I'm tired of being a low rank killer with higher rank SWF joining my games and protecting their newbie by bumrush unhooking in front of me and purposely making loud audio cues left and right to taunt me and drag the game out from 10 minutes or less to an hour when they realize the struggle I'm having. When I was a rank 20 killer I was getting rank 12 people in my game protecting their rank 19 whatever friends. And they played like people who Depipped to join their friends in dragging an easy game out.
To be fair, i don't mind that different ranks can join each other like that, I get annoyed at how survivors just harass killers and drag out the game forever then want to complain if a killer quits out. If you're going against a killer who obviously sucks, just win fast and move on out, stop wasting our time, we got more games to play and life stuff to do. Some of us I assume really don't want to quit out on a SWF winning, but once you start dragging out the game much much longer than it would've been, you lose all rights to complain about whatever points you couldn't make.

Your friends just need to feel the game out more. They'll complain when they become killers.

  • Sometimes I'm in a nice mood and will not kill anyone. Instead I will find a high point and dance/swing around until survivors call me along like a pet dog, then I will go to one end of the generator and keep hitting it to pretend I'm doing the generator and if someone busts the gen 3 times in a row or so I will smack them one time and shake my head. Which usually ends up with everyone scattering then creeping back when they see I'm not chasing followed by funny gesture exchanges.

I get a little put off by people who don't take the opportunity to cleanse the totems, farm each other off the hook or grab the hatch. I get that they're being careful but they still wouldve died with a lot of points if I just so happened to be a bad guy camping at the end and only downed them if they came close.

  • I'm mixed race, I just play whoever I'm in the mood to play with based on what kinda outfit I want my character to have. If I want to look doofy I'll grab Dwight or David for example, and if I wanna look edgy I'll grab any of the females except Kate for example...I think I care more about that character race representation stuff more on TV and bigger games. I kind of think that with us mixed race people its too complex because there's too many types of mixing that there will always be one group of it feeling mixed out. For example, atm Black and White/Black and Hispanic/White and Asian are the most likely mix race individuals you will see on tv or in games. So using those to represent all types of mixed would still be considered unfair for mixed people ya dig? Times are changing though so I don't doubt your wish will come true soon.
