Wow, I wanted an adequate answer and there is still toxic trolling. Much appreciated! Now you can really delete this game!

@Faishun Ok ok, I'm sorry Faishun, I really am I just found your wording funny. What is your rank and build on Legion? Maybe instead of wanting to quit the game and die inside when you lose kills, you can just ask the killer mains for help on how to counter this with your main killers.

And? But they re self care. You basically bringing another perk into trial when you dont even need it to play game optimally. You want to heal just bring self care? Whats the problem? Simple. People who bring med kit they just want to save one perk slot.

  • Nah, I kinda like exposed hex perks even though I don't use them as killer, I think they're fun to go against. I like the unexpected twist of it sometimes. Also it's gotta be painful for some killers.

    This community is so hypocritical.

Plague 4k 4 iri double pip at rank 1.

"That doesnt prove anything they were probably potatoes. "

At rank 1. Looks viable to me. Best killer? Nah. Viable? Apparently. Get over yourselves.

@Carpemortum A lot of people seem to be asking for the points/perk screens in order to take this seriously. For all we know he farmed with a couple people to build up points and then killed them with noed or something. idk idc

Personally I don't think Plague is weak, but I have yet to lose to a plague out of their skill, if I ever lost to a plague (maybe once or twice) was because I hated the way my team played against her getting themselves in trouble and let her kill me. I would much rather let a killer take me during a crap game than try to find/camp a hatch. I think for a killer like the plague, potato survivors give her A LOT more power. But I say that because that seems to be how I've seen plagues get kills with and without tunneling/camping.

Ok i see you are new to this, "Rank 20" means ANY rank other than Rank 1 (Rank 4, 3 and 2 are also considered Rank 20"). So if you arent playing at Rank 1 ONLY, you wont experience the true DbD experience (toxicity), so you are just considered another Rank 20 Killer or Survivor.

@Bug_Reporter yeah but rank 1 players who actually choose to stay in rank 1 and not purposely depip themselves like some others just to pretend they have status in this game or whatever reasons they keep in rank 1 for can keep their bs opinions and inside jokes to themselves. Lower ranks can experience toxicity too from your deranked comrades and their friends they brought onto the game to swf with.

Also, use legion to farm as much as possible OP, I seriously bought legion for that purpose and havent even touched him yet cause I'm having too much fun with Clown atm. Gosh dangit...

  • Er. I try to do this nice thing every time a killer lets me live but they always DC from the after game lobby too quickly for me to finish typing it out but. If a killer lets me live, I will give them some weird unusual thing they can do if they ever see me again and I'll take it as them wanting pay back, so I'll let them farm me and kill me next round. As killer, if I see a team really struggles together I'll take it easy on them, occasionally let them win. I am not a fan of ez wins when I play killer.

  • I replaced bond for Kindred and it took me a long while to find my ideal build to keep it on and keep winning most my matches, but some killers are smart enough to hook you away from their totem. Sometimes I want bond back just to see if someone was by a totem before they got hooked but, Kindred has really been a great solo perk for me. I have saved games by keeping it on and it's rare to see I see small game a lot more than kindred so I just always hope someone who comes for me is running small game.

  • I think wraith's cloaking needs a lot less time to come out of naturally but people should still be able to see him from a distance and nearby while cloaked because its not like wraiths don't bodyblock, palette block, window block or anything. Right?

Removing sounds from pig's ambush is stupid because you don't know where her ambush is coming from without looking around anyway and it will still hit you after you figure out where it comes from if she's close enough. I think the only people who would want to remove the sound from her ambush are the idiot pig players who would be in a visible loop and out of desperation crouch right in front of their victim then gets mad when the victim dodges it. I do not agree that her traps should take all 5 boxes because then the only way to win against her if she's running a lot of traps and especially if she's doing that and tunneling people with traps or who were unhooked is to run a team full of spinechill, toolkits, lightweight and iron will and nobody should have to build specifically for jerkwad pigs. It's the killers who need to build to counter the survivors, that's why they can see survivors getting ready in the lobby. Survivor's only jobs are to build for the benefit of their team depending on where their playstyle is best not specific jerkwad killers.

I think bubba needs the speed boost part of devour hope naturally implemented into him

Spirit isn't easy though, she requires practice, though not as much practice as nurse. You can't just pick up Spirit and start slaying with her

    I did. That's why I mained her.

Spirit is a great killer, I used to play her with no perks or addons when I had her from level 1-15. I used to throw those map offering boosted swf in the garbage and nobody could complain because I didn't have perks or add ons. I highly recommend survivor mains use her if they want to get into killer because you need to be really good at predicting to use her phase walk. I wonder if Wraith is like the weaker version of spirit, I don't play him....not since that awful 1hr rank 20 bully experience....my heart hasn't healed yet lmao.

You guys are complaining about huntress lullaby? Wow just wow

@Tru3Lemon Her humming is wider than her terror radius, that's why.

I agreed with it needing to minimize at first. But then I remembered that she would be way too close before someone can react if that were the case. I think however there should be a rare add on that gives people the ability to minimize her humming distance to as low as her terror radius incase they are learning with huntress or just find it easier for them personally. Personally I just make up for this crap by NEVER unequipping Whispers from my huntress.

  • So Claudette was the entity all along huh? Should've known that plant freak wouldve been giving people weird plant drugs to make them think they're her murderous slaves and guinea pig survivors.

  • I think we could get in trouble for saying how to do it on the forums. :(

  • Easy.

    1. The survivor you suspect of working with the killer. Let's call them swk will occasionally pretend to body block for people then run barely far away and heal right there while someone's being chased
    2. The killer will ignore a crouching/terribly hidden swk if you run by them so they are in clear vision. The swk usually will hide very lazy and obviously in terrible position
    3. You may notice from far away sometimes the killer and swk crossing paths and the swk will lazily pretend to hide and or the killer will slap them, down them, and hook them first while the swk doesn't or poorly puts up a survival just to get the killer's bbq working.
    4. The swk will teabag and make dumb gestures while other people are being chased or downed because they know they won't get die in the match
    5. The killer will try to avoid hooking them more than once and will leave them slugged and able to be picked up a few times
    6. The swk will likely be looking through as many chests as they can or vaulting if someone else is looking through a chest they want
    7. The swk will try to protect hex totems from being cleansed by pretending to cleanse totems if someone walks by
    8. If you quit the game and spectate, after the other players leave the match they will be farming a generator together or the killer will be letting them cleanse totems and finish gens left, getting points in every category together.
    9. One or both of them use 100% all category bp items or bloody party streamers

Not all of these will be done in the same match, but you can see most of them in the same swk match. I will DC if I notice this crap unless I feel like being nice.

  • I don't understand why there are some people that think only billy can counter mom?

like for me it's the sooner you find survivors and get a chase going the better. So now I feel like discordance is super important to my clown and spirit. I dunno what it's like for other killers, I thought Myers would be perfectly fine against it and legion ofc. And Nurse, I figure doctor would be fine against it too but IMO most doctor players I went against as survivor suck and breaking/slowing down loops with him. Basically my mindset is that I have to play "fast" and put map/gen pressure in clever ways and slow healing. I run coulrophobia on my clown still and that helps whenver people are healing around me while I'm looking for them or chasing someone else.

  • If it's a decent one I will consider maining Legion, Joey looks the coolest!

  • @Incirion I never accused you of encouraging camping and tunneling, but anyway. You don't encourage killer toxicity?

You've said that hatch animations should be longer for survivors and killers should be able to close it for finding it first (hating on survivors having chances of escape per usual)

you've said you dodge lobbies if 2+ survivors dress the same, multiple flashlights, multiple claudettes, multiple people with paid cosmetics basically implying that if the survivors appear to you as if they are swf or stand a chance for an easy game, you will dodge (and as a spirit main? really?). (hating on survivors chances of escape per usual)

You admitted to doing cannibal dailies with insidious in the basement (who wouldnt though but that is toxic) (you know what goes here)

You've said to remove the squeal pig does when she ambushes which is some survivor's only way of knowing where she comes from whether or not they get hit. (You REALLY know what goes here)

You've agreed to someone's idea of making hex perks besides noed lasting the whole game and need a buff. (Mmm Devour hope hex being uncleanseable would really be crapping on survivors chances of escape)

ETC ETC and on top of that, when you're not insulting people's intelligence for disagreeing with you or not relating to your struggles in this game; you're playing like a mild-mannered confused and misunderstood victim when people respond directly to your shalam.

  • I don't agree with buffing it, and especially don't agree with removing exhaustion for a cool down. Because although not common, the fact people can use that perk to save survivors being carried might lead to some salty killers crying for changes again. Especially in the basement.

  • @Trikset said:

@Kurisataru What's the idea of this build? and cant you just run all 4? Deliverance + DS + Mettle + Sabotage = 4 perks. Was there another perk to make up the 4th to swap out DS with?

    Sorry I'm a bit confused.

@Trikset Since a lot of people run exhaustion perks I purposely left that one out for preference.

  • I forgot who I was watching, but I saw a vid the other day where a bunch of survivors with Head On were using it to help each other getting picked up by a wraith. I believe it was Noob3, Monto, Puppers, and OhTofu, correct me if I'm wrong. It was so funny.

Not sure if that was you, but I've done that before, then trapped it with a hex.....in case it moved. Also did that to a tire stack that blocked Bubba. I pointed at it and bubba chainsaws it, then me. But, we showed those tires!

@Warlock_2020 Idk, it couldve been you! Can't say I remember what rank I was at when that happened or how long ago it was but it was while I played on PC.

Lmao I love those kinda games, yeah it can waste some time but any game that makes me laugh to the point where I'm wheezing or gotta pee is a super gg in my book whether I pip or not. Even as a killer sometimes I'll mope about if a survivor I know I can down is bullying me and I'll just pop for them later. Or I'll run against people as close as possible nodding my head to taunt them till I get smacked with a palette or whatever happens. Not every match has to be played with the intent of succeeding with a lot of bp, getting pips, 4k, whatever. Besides, since I only play with killers I'm very good with I don't mind cutting people some slack with a bit of humor sometimes. And sometimes even the most serious killers I will compliment and say gg to just so they know that however I acted in game wasn't meant to be disrespectful.

Taunting, people gotta stop making up BS excuses.

@PiiFree Someone here is close-minded, I guess whatever makes the killer role more immersive for you bro  ¯\(ツ)/¯

    Normal reason's I'd point:

    1. Point at some object I got stuck against right before I get downed to say "F you tree!" (I wish I knew who was the friendly hag that beat up a tree for me after she downed me lol)
    2. Point at some cancer teammate that the killer should get because they've let someone die just to hatch camp and they're waiting for me to get hooked so they can escape having done crap when they couldve had gens done for us or taken a hit to give someone a bit of time in a chase to gain distance from the killer
    3. Point at the killer to say "Calm down buddy/leave me alone/F your swing from some bs distance hitting me/Wassup bro/You found me, you found me I know I can't hide now"
    4. Point at an object to say "Don't mind me, I'm just going to look through this chest/do this generator/mess up your totem" (I never expect a killer to let me do it but I'm one of those dbd players with a sense of humor; and if they hit me I'm prepared for a chase)
    5. Point at a swf I'm teamed with hiding around a corner or in a locker just for lols
    6. Point at an empty locker to see if they open it for lols (Once it wasn't empty which was hysterical and sad)
    7. Point at a hook to tell a friendly farming killer to sacrifice me (or hook my teammate they're carrying at the same time I'm body blocking; which is a taunt)
    8. Point at doctor in treatment mode or plague vomiting or piggy teabagging someone, camping bubba, billy ramming into things, nurse nodding and slugging, etc to say "Stop that you bully."

Personally if I want to taunt a killer, I will teabag or use the "come here" gesture but I'm not intending to be disrespectful, I'm just exploting some killers' weak mental fortitude and how easily offended they get to lure them away from my teammates. I feel like most killers don't get offended by pointing though which is why I don't mind doing it for little imaginary bants.

  • That's what I'm talking about. (Still gonna complain about minor but valid issues on behalf of others who's life depends on it)

  • @blackcat9001 said:

How do you not understand the DCing problem? I play on PC as well, and every other match someone gets the "infinite loading screen" bug, which will make the match 3v1, or just make the killer DC. About one in three games that I've played the last couple of weeks (around 30ish hours) has had 3 or less survivors because of this. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Ever since patch 2.6.3 people have been DCing more than ever, because the penalty for it is bugged. If one thing goes wrong for their game, many people will DC.

These two issues are killing this game for me.

I can't tell you how many times I'm feeling good about a match, looping a killer, when suddenly they get frustrated and quit. Two gens pop in a chase as they get pallet stunned? DC. Resulting in a depip, losing all offerings played.

Or when I'm playing killer myself, and I down someone, and they instantly DC. Why even play the game if you can't deal with going down? Why play the game if you're not willing to deal with the consequences of chasing the same survivor for an extended period of time? I can't comprehend it.

I think I've had less than 10 normal games in this past week because of these issues. Meaning, a game where all players load in, and no one quits.

BHVR needs to make it so quitters will get matched with other quitters, just like other video games. Don't ruin my game because you're salty, or a pansy who can't deal with something going your way. Match quitters together so that they'll never play with people who actually want to play the game. Problem would be solved. I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer for a match at all if it meant I would be with people who don't quit.

@blackcat9001 That's the most original idea I've ever seen on the DC issue, pair quitters with other quitters. Lmao I like that one, I like that!

    To the bell curve argument.

SWF break the bell curve by interducing high ranking survivors to mid ranking killers.

As long this system is in place every SWF with different ranks breaks the game.

Suddenly a casual killer has to face a veteran.

It's like in a sports event in a local town. Normally all the average Joe's and Jane's have their fun and suddenly an athlete friend wants to join and just stomps the competition.

@Cymer This isn't so bad though because some lower rank killers are actually not that low skill wise, and on top of that they can learn some things from facing higher rank survivors. I just don't agree with rank 20 killers having to see green and red ranks in their game. When I reached yellow ranks solo I was getting paired lot with green and red rank players/killers and part of me thinks the match making takes your skill/points into account when they pair solo survivors in lobbies but I could be wrong.

    @M3ndele said:

If I may interfere here with some little thoughts:

I personally think the game is neither healthy nor sick. It is on a good way, but has it's issues.

For example: The bugs with parts of maps that load way after the game began are very annoying or the invisible walls where you randomly stuck.

But they fixed quiet a lot of problems tho, which is a positive point.

But I think the major problem of this game is the community.

Sure there are friendly killers and survivors, but the toxicity is still the main way to play.

I for myself play mostly survivor and I can get tilt very fast if I get camped and tunneled from a games beginning for 5 rounds and more.

But I get killers that tilt too, cause survivors disrespect a lot and 'tryhard'.

    And thats just some examples.

I would say, that the line between playing the game how it is meant to be and playing the game in the meanest way, just to piss of people is too thin.

@M3ndele We can't stop toxic killers and survivors in general, the best we can do is make it so that it's more attractive to not be toxic. And the devs have tried that. Camping killers get less points for chasing around hooked survivors as time passes or some crap like that, Discordance is good for finding people start of game and getting the flow going which imo should be attracting certain killers away from needing noed, etc. I think the sound issue with killers needs to be addressed asap but Toxicity in this game seems to be punished because as I and some other survivors have noticed, you don't pip just for staying in a chase for a long time. You need to do more. I guess that's to punish survivors who teabag and flashlight and slap palettes left and right as their playstyle when some killers hate it. I love how BHVR listens and at least tries to fix issues.

  • I think the issue with a lot of people is not really that the game is "broken" unbalanced, I think they just don't want to be forced to play with certain killers just so they can pip consistently, and survivors don't want to deal with killers who have super little counterplay that is easily detected and countered like Nurse and Legion. You are literally at the mercy of them (especially without spinechill/premonition and spine chill is probably always accidentally countered by legion).

  • @MystiKasT said:

@Kurisataru Every DC I've ever seen has been when downed (immediately) or hooked (immediately). I've only ever seen legitimate DCs during loading screen.

Yeah, I don't doubt at all most DCs are salty ones but just becuse of the few exceptions (imo) that's why I would rather the killer gets rewarded more for a DC depending on how long the quitter stayed in the game rather than the person who DC'd being punished.

  • Since Legion's few counter plays are easily countered, I just say he should be like myers and build speed up with certain conditions. Might encourage people to stop DCing. I don't exactly want to get rid of his palette hopping ability like some people but damn man, sometimes I think we just need some time that we cant buy and not all Legions are willing to cut slack. I deeply appreciate the very few who do, and I would thank them but every legion I go against tends to DC the after lobby to avoid salt or something.

  • I refuse to accept punishing for DCs because it's situational. It's not always DC for someone to get a hatch, or DC because someone is fed up of being in the same game as the same killer for a 3rd game in a row, or DC because the killer seems op. It could be DC because igtg, dc because lag switch, dc because the killer and a teammate are obviously farming other survivors together, DC because the ping is worse than it seemed in the lobby and I can't move or know exactly where I am and don't want to be stuck in that game because I have things to do and little time to be playing (dont want people getting hurt or wasting time trying to save me if I let myself be hooked), DC because internet went poop. But other than that, yee.

  • We all have those days. I've currently been on a good luck streak for the past 3 days I touched dbd but sooner or later I'm going to be back where you are and you're going to be the one with the luck streak.

  • Easter is a good time to teabag some chocolate and white chocolate eggs as survivors. I'm gonna teabag everybody!

  • Deja Vu, Lithe, Small Game, Technician before the last patch that changed the sounds (rip; hopefully it goes back to the way it was before), Lightweight (Though i keep seeing youtubers use this for some reason lately, idk why), alert

  • LOOOOL This is real salt, I hope he sees this thread and comments in it. Just laugh about these things op, someone actually was so mad they made a hitlist with your name on it and played a top tier killer just for you.

The other day I was playing solo and was kinda drunk and sabotaging hooks and laughing at various killer responses (Because that is my new fetish and I'm still kinda new to this game so cut me some slack for being late on your old skool cool kids games, jk) but the killer was a pig and any killer knows that a sabo person on your team is a pain in the butt and probably deserves to be camped to death to prevent them from 99ing your hooks or whatever dumb crap they might have in mind. So the pig came for us, I ran to a corner because for whatever reason my drunk ass decided to try being a sabo corner pleb for this round just to see what's the fun in that. The pig downed me at the corner, crouched in the cornfield and let my teammates pick me up then did it again and again. And each time the SAME NEA kept picking me up so I figured she was just farming me and knew the killer was crouched barely ahead of me and waiting for Nea to move so she can ambush me in the corner again. The other 2 teammates finished 5 gens while this Nea who cleansed no totems and touched no gens kept picking me up.

My hooks finally respawned and the pig hooked me and camped me to death, then went to deal with Nea who was sticking around for whatever reason and she got dealt with EZ PZ. End game chat is all ggs and I thanked Nea for trying to help me despite the fact the pig was camping my slugged body and farming me; except the idiot Nea who proceeded to call me ######### and slow and was indirectly blaming me for her death because she was probably boosted and couldn't use common sense to avoid me and the pig and work on gens during the game, and very obviously couldn't chase for her life. She seemed so mad I bet she reported me for grieving and my dbd name is probably impossible to forget so, I expect for her to get revenge on me one day 2 months down the road. She had a literal heart attack on the keyboard it was hilarious.

  • I used to only DC against boosted ass farmer killers, but now I just don't DC at all because I feel bad even for them, I bet they get enough DCs as it is. I try to play serious now. I have had some of my most fun insane good games doing this and surprisingly survive once in a blue moon or at least help turn a 4k into something less. My pp fortitude has indeed increased.

  • Don't get me started on sound issues, I literally switched back to survivor main till it's fixed, I only play killer for dailies now.

  • No but because my build doesnt run an exhaustion perk either atm I will bring a medkit or a toolkit luck offerings in hopes of getting a good medkit or another good toolkit most likely.

  • Kate is my main girl, my ideas for her are totally more skanky. I think that if Nea is the trip chick, Feng is the casual with occasional trip, Claudette is the hipster, Jane is the professional/profeessional casual and Meg is the athletic/edgy casual one. Then Kate could be the tramp with some southern and bohemian (which I see you have there mainly at the bottom). But I do agree she needs more cosmetics, I was excited for the march ones with the short brown hair and nightlife vegas like outfit but that didn't show up and it's april!

  • I love how the quinten looks exactly as he does in game.

All my swf friends are toxic rank 1s that makes killers want to depip so it's easier or harder depending on who the killer is, and if they're camping with noed at the end. One of my friends is super freaking toxic and can chase for gens on gens but just because he plays with a cute blonde feng min he gets the hatch a lot no matter what crimes he's committed. It's so weird. Dwight is obviously cuter.

    in SWF Comment by Kurisataru
  • I LOVE painreliever, this dude's video on killers helped me a bunch and for survivor his "8 ways to make space during a chase" vid was exactly what I needed to start going above my current rank as survivor. Only because I never used to think of making space, I only used to think of looping then hiding in hopes they lose me it and wasn't enough sometimes. But now that the general understanding of "making space" is engraved in my mind I just combine that with everything else I learn and stuff's been so good. I ruined a legion's 3 v 1 game (Ended the game by doing one of 2 close gens he was gaurding after tons of chases with me from the start and then rescued his 2 almost kills he had been slugging and guarding by one of the gens and they escaped then I grabbed the hatch while he was camping the exit gate open in desperation) the other day just by no longer thinking escape is only possible through looping and hiding when possible.

  • I'd be more bothered by my teammates letting a plague camp me if they were present. Who the heck lets a plague camp their teammate to death? (I guess it depends on hook location?)

  • "Nurse is super easy"

WHAT? IS SHE? I need the secrets now! I freaking suck with Nurse, I get bullied worse than a rank 20 wraith tip toeing around the map swinging at thin air when his target is like 5 steps ahead. You should've told him "Easier than using dbd to gain a streaming career". Literally everyone and their dead gerbil from childhood is a streamer.

  • If I see a killer crab walking I assume they're using whispers lmao, I guess that would make a pretty funny mindgame, especially if it works.

  • Original Quinten has a recessed ass chin and his neck is trying to swallow his face.

Dbd quentin looks like he died in his sleep and his body is animating for some reason.

Also, Laurie in dbd is hideous af. I didnt think the fan edit resembeled her as much as the other two resembeled their guys so I took the pleasure in fixing Laurie on the bottom right image with the blue star and left the original fan edit over it for compare.

@Poweas I main Spirit also. PGTW regresses gens more, Ruin makes their progress go slower. You can only kick one gen per hook with Pop, but Ruin slows down every gen in the game. So PGTW is better for mid game or late game, when the gens actually have progress on them.

@Incirion Except Poweas didnt say replace ruin, they said replace Noed with PGTW and we all know every time you talk on the killer forums you're encouraging toxic killers while discouraging survivors having any chance of survival and the fact you encourage Noed to counter gen rushing is hysterical and unsurprising coming from you.

@mcNuggets What killer/builds do you run? Discordance is a great perk to start the game off finding people since it's common for survivors to spawn together, Ruin is a must on many if not most killers too.

  • Weird. I had this bug for a few days where randomly when I got hooked, my camera would follow the killer in third person until I got unhooked. Weird things happen sometimes when we get hooked lately.
