  • Because I dont want to be gen rushed in 3 minutes with toolboxes and survivors on separate gens? Even with toolboxes on ruin it can go by fast. Personally if I have a green or purple toolbox with good add ons I gen tap instead of holding repair because it goes by fast af boi. zoom zoom

  • use detective's hunch or a map.

  • Well now I'm wondering:

Does hag regurgitate all the survivors she eats to make the survivor pudding for the entity? Do other killers give her BP for making survivor pudding for them to sacrifice and for borrowing Hex:Ruin?

Is Hag the entity's personal chef and right hand?

  • Mainly survivor, but I came into dbd knowing I'd main killer. Doing it slowly but surely. So far if I play killer it's to test ideas and my mindgame/prediction against survivors, sometimes just to get a good laugh seeing what kind of fuckery they can do to or around me. Things I don't normally see when I'm a survivor working the good ol gens. I laugh a lot in this game on both sides. Yesterday I was playing legion and hit a wall before losing my power while facing the wall and a meg just crouched and looked at me like I was a dunce so I nodded at her and walked away like nothing happened. Killer is more fun if you play it the way you want to and not with so much pressure to be good at it like we're constantly talking about in this community.

  • I still have to build something with ooo. Its a perk I've been wanting to use for ages. I tried it with No Mither a few times and the killers farmed me which was what I was hoping would happen. but it didnt really do much to slow the games down or make me useful to my teammates at all so there was no point in that besides farming if the killer would even want to.

I think it can make the killer think you're a swf informer and just want to beat your ass or save you for later when they're done beating up your comrades. I strongly advocate Alert if you dont run empathy, spinechill, or premonition. I suck at using spinechill and premonition really freaking bad so I used to use alert. Or just experiment.

If you want you can test this out for me since I'm missing one of these perks on my survivors and tell me how it works:

OoO, Small Game or detectives hunch, Dead Hard, Distortion

I cant see your med kit, box, key or map add ons only that you have one. If you play against killers often enough you can figure out there add ons.

No ones arguing dcing killers dont happen but its less of an issue because survivours dont have to put up with continuing the game when a killer dcs. Its also way more common since 4 players are statistically gonna be more likely to contain these kinda players then a single killer player.

Lobby dodging consumes no add ons or items and its really just making it longer for killers to get games its not like survivour queue times are crazy long either.

Also let not dodge the issue your lobby has 4 boxes with there names all written as gen rush. Telling a killer he has to put up with that crap or worse telling me its unfair to not throw on a mori or Franklin's.

You should try and play as survivor then, because while the queue is short, thats not accounting for how many bad ping lobbies you'll find, and no, killers CAN see survivor items in the lobby screen, lol, survivor can't. Dodging what you dont want to play against is fine, but don't have double standards if survivors want to dodge what they don't want to play against in game then. Like I said, blame the game design.

@Victory You misread him, he said killers cannot see WHAT ADD ONS survivors have on their boxes. We don't know if the 2-4 survivors joining our lobbies are running green/purple toolkits with the best stuff you can find plus plunders or ace perks to search gens for even better stuff. We don't know if someone on your team has botany knowledge with we'll make it and a green medkit with good ass add ons for a 3-4 second heal time and 5 full heals plus mettle of man, plus borrowed time on anyone. Sometimes its not even just 3-4 player swf that are trouble. A smaller swf can still be optimized with the randoms they're with.

I guess he wanted to say only the add-ons the Killers can not see my friend. SWF are toxic and should be dodged. To find game as Survivor is pretty fast, I find games less than 15 seconds, so its not an thing to complain about. Survivors who disconnects during the match are more likely bad that only likes to fight agains't bad killers. Survivors can use and have Adrenaline, Decisive, Borrowed Time(This one is special by SWF toxic friends), Med-Kits with Insta-heals, flashlights with red add-ons, dead hard, a lot of ######### op perks, but If an Killer uses an OP add-ons the survivors are like: "WOOOW NOOO, THIS KILLER IS SO TRYHARD OMFG I AM ONLY USING MY INSTA HEAL DECISIVE ADRENALINE SELF-CARE SPRINTBURST WITH MY FRIENDS WITH FLASHLIGHTS WITH AN BULB AND GREEN BATTERY ALSO BORROWED TIME AND PUPPLE TOOLSBOX WITH ADD-ONS AND PROVE THYSELF FOR GENRUSH, ITS SO UNFAIR OMGF, i wilL disCcoNecTTt beCAusSE This is uNFaIR, TotAllY U N F A I R"

@Kees_T I won't lie, sometimes I want to play with douchebag perks as a survivor because of those sweaty killers out there who want to pull out some noed, mori, and act crazy just because they see like 2 people with toolboxes. Now if I see so much as 2 people with a toolbox or medkit and I'm playing survivor, I will pull out a map offering. Which is @Victory yet another advantage that survivors have. The ability to be able to choose maps.

@Zarathos Most killers assume you have the best add-ons, regardless of if you do. The same goes for survivors. If you play against certain survivors enough, you'll know their build. You'll know if they loop really well and decide FROM THE LOBBY SCREEN that you don't want to deal with that and leave. You know, what survivors do in game. I'm not for DCing, but I'm also not for the double standards presented here. If killers' names were hidden to prevent abuse, survivor names should be, too.

Otherwise there needs to be a punishment for lobby dodging.

@fluffybunny Yeahh but some players dress their characters pretty noticeably and still get dodged. I'm not for dodging either in most cases, but I'd rather a killer I went against lobby dodge me than just try to build to counter me or me and my friend only. Sometimes I have those games where I go against the same killer like 2-3 times in a row maybe even more or the same killer just over and over at some point in the day and they just select a killer and build to get revenge on me or a friend constantly with as little effort as they can put in. I'd like those killers to be able to lobby dodge if they ever want to, please keep them back! Begone foul no deodorant having killers!

  • As a survivor I've always liked the game. I remember my friends warning me that it sucked for survivor but I rarely play The Game and lose if the killer is not a spirit, trapper, or hag. I just think its a very refreshing looking map and though I still don't know all the loops for it, or the whole layout; that hasn't stopped me from having mostly ggs. Just being on that map feels like a nice change. As a killer I hate that map because although it is supposed to be in my favor, I don't know the whole layout and so I can't predict survivors as well in some places. For example: You know if you play hag or trapper you want to put a trap where the huge funnel vault is? I don't know how to get there, I have to get there on accident so I would be wasting my own time consciously trying to look for it.

I also like Temple of Purgutation as a survivor and killer. It's a huge and beautiful and fun map. Mainly survivor sided but even during some of my worst games there usually say everyone or some people survive I can at least have them all ready on death hook. I just think it would be better if it were smaller or had more dead areas for killers. Maybe just 1 more.

I strongly dislike most MacMillan estate maps as a survivor if I'm not running deja vu. I just suck on those maps very bad because most survivor games I do there we get gen locked.

I also hate torment creek as a survivor because I rarely get killers who arent good at gen patrolling and map pressure on there.

as a killer I hate Disturbed Ward because survivors are too stealthy and I get confused there if I dont have decent tracking perks. And sometimes I like to play without perks/addons to test how good I am at predicting/tracking without.

  • Run small game or use a map and make sure that your teammates can see what you see when you use the map.

Noed exists for killers who need crutches to win either cause their killer is kinda low tier, or they suck. The other reason could be that there are killers who just want to ensure all their games go by fast. I don't like or hate it personally, but it can be a party pooper sometimes on both sides for me.

  • Don't mind me, I downvoted your post just to get the toxic train rolling like the crazy people who harassed that poor guy over a darn video game dlc that didn't even come out yet. <3

My new build: Unbreakable, Tenacity, Flip Flop. What should my 4th perk be? Sprint Burst so when I pick myself up they can't immediately down me again?

@brokedownpalace Not sure if you need tenacity, seems like a waste of a perk slot to me. I think my current survivor build will be fine for going against this kind of crap since I run kindred. It can hopefully keep people from trying to save me if killers want to camp or walk around an exit gate I'm hooked by and slug everyone there. Or if you don't care about others so much end game lol try lightweight or Hope. I run lightweight on my current build and I used Hope when I was new to the game and that was all I had on my bloodweb for the longest time. should probably be useful now, I don't know if it stacks with adrenaline.

Maybe you have said something to that effect, but I don't remember such a discussion nor your name. Regardless, I'm trying to understand why you believe slugging is different now even though it lasts the same length of time and has a cool death animation to top it off.

@Orion I havent played this egc yet, looks interesting to me from both perspectives but from a survivor one and one of someone inexperienced with egc, I'm wondering if its possible to be slugged by a freaking hatch the killer kicked shut with no way out. If that's the case I can imagine that as a difference that would drive some people up the wall. Other than that I really don't see the difference between being slugged to egc and being slugged till you bleed to death. Either way, if you get too close to the exit gate and the killer sees you they can pick your ass up and drop you further away.

  • @Endorb said:

I've noticed trapper seems kinda buggy doing basic actions, compared to other killers. Bugs I've seen include lunges turning into pickups, walking through a survivor while lunging, being blinded instantly, not having a cooldown on a successful attack, allegedly not letting survivors wiggle, and lag-teleportation.

This might be sampling bias since I played trapper the most back on my old (broken) PC, but I can definately see you having a bug to your advantage and not knowing it. Hell, I've had my fair share of life-ending bugs as survivor too; being frozen when I try to down a pallet, not having terror radius play (vs a trapper and a hillbilly without tinkerer or the plague perk).

@Endorb Not sure if there is a perk for this but I went against a trapper today where I didnt get skill check notifications for the whole match. Hope that's not a common trapper bug.

  • How dare you call ANY good spirit player boosted? Tell that to the ones running Noed, myc, and Haunted Grounds *huff puff*. Prayer beads are awesome. Plus, spirits sound bugs arent fixed so she needs add ons

  • @GrootDude said:

This actually isn’t good for survivors since the killer can get them all injured quickly. I wish they’d fix this.

    @fluffybunny said:

It's actually beneficial to the killer if everyone spawns together. You get 2~3 people on a gen and if you pressure them, you're pressuring 2~3 people. Gen rushing typically happens when people are each on separate generators. That's when you get 2~3 gens going off while in a chase.

    @Chi said:

Spawning survivors separately would result in gens going much faster than if they spawn together.

    This

Do you play killer often? I have Discordance on a lot of my killers for this reason. Also, just because survivors spawn together often doesnt mean it's always a bad thing because as @PeepingPeacock said, it's probably a shadow nerf.

Don't forget that where survivors spawn in every map are few and easy to remember, if I'm playing killer in lerys for example, I know that the wisest thing to do would be to check the exit gates at the very start because I will likely find a group of survivors that spawned together there before they can get on a gen to set off my discordance.

As a killer you should love the fact that A) they spawn together a lot and B) their spawn locations are predictable and as a bonus; c) discordance is a great perk for killers especially at the start of a game

  • @DemonDaddy said:

There's an audio warning everytime she gets it. Sacrifice your gen progress and hide if its to difficult to avoid in chase.

    This.

I rarely ever need to heal more than once against a plague and if I do its usually when I get to 2-0 gens left and they're running monitor and abuse with overcharge or pgtw and my teammates are basically giving her free hits because they don't know how to run and hide from her.

  • Kurisataru will remember that.

  • @GrootDude said:

  • Now I can depip myself without survivors holding the game hostage as killer

as survivor I think it's an interesting mechanic, I'm all for it. Should make dramatic plays.

  • As someone who has aspired to design and make assets for video games since 8 years old and soon will, I get deeply irritated by people buying into this idea that you are giving these little background creators "more money" to do their job. No, when you buy a battle pass you're letting yourself be scammed by greedy publishers and developers.

Epic Games, creator of Fortnite, was given an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau amid mounting customer service complaints.

    (EG not associated with bbb)

Epic might be swimming in a pool of money thanks to the success of Fortnite and the debut of its exclusive-gobbling Steam competitor, but it’s also—to hear the Better Business Bureau tell it—in hot water with its own customers.
When something seems too good to be true, it probably is. It’s a hard lesson to learn and, in this case, one that’s being taught by scammers.

Even desperate kids and broke people who can't afford to let themselves be scammed instead by "hackers", "account sellers", and "glitch/bug/bypass know-it-alls" and websites generating click/ad revenue for their false advertising.

I watched a video not long ago (few weeks ago) about how fortnite got itself probably a good 25mil annually in scams. Not sure if that includes the independent scammers in it's community but I highly doubt that. But you're not going to see the little guys getting famous and rolling in dough for being part of stuff like this, if anything they just have more competition to deal with getting in the industry and still average salary. Subscriptions should not exist unless you're just paying to use the server imo. Paying for cosmetics, bonuses, etc is taking things too far and unless the company develops and publishes their own stuff and has a good reputation for making great content, taking care of their customers, and paying their employees great (Blizzard; although its getting shaky recently) they should not be making so many microtransactions.

BHVR can calm down with all their freaking "tournaments" ideas and new skins and work on balancing the game, fixing the server as they've been promising for years before they even think of adding a battle pass. And players need to stop throwing around that they're giving more support to the little guys for paying for this kind of crap. This is why we'll never see ethical practices in micro-transactions; because the gamers themselves just take the finger up the butt.

  • I have not used self care since I started this game late december. I tried it but I always find medkits and randoms more reliable. I don't know why so many responses here seem to have bad luck with randoms healing them but people seem to like farming so I let them take some points. I won't lie though, I get some of those games where having self care couldve helped me help myself or someone else. But it's ok, I'd still rather take a medkit.

  • @WaffleFalafel said:

@tt_ivi_99 Stop assuming my logic because at this point you're just creating straw man arguments. MYC doesn't affect Hag's ability to teleport across the map. M&A isn't fixing a problem where Myers can't stalk because he has a large terror radius because the problem doesn't exist. Unnerving Prescence does exactly what I believe a perk should: compliment a killer's power. None of those perks are fixing the killer to work as intended: they're expanding the potential of those characters and accentuate specific traits of that killer, like M&A on Myers with his smaller terror radius.

Thanatophobia doesn't fall under that criteria when paired with Legion. Sure, it synergizes with them, however that is because it alleviating Legion's glaring weakness: gen rush. That of which, mind you, isn't supposed to be possible, or at least considerably harder, because of Legion's ability to put pressure on multiple survivors, which it doesn't.

On a related note, you brought up, as a possible counter, using other perks to counter Thanatophobia. That is not an appropriate counter. If you have to bring in a perk to negate another, all that's saying is there is no counterplay naturally. The reason Enduring was used so much before was to negate DS. That's because there was no counterplay naturally and killers had to use Enduring to negate the stun. That wasn't healthy for the game and neither is the Thanatophobia counter you offered here. Just because other survivors hold that mentality towards Mettle of Man doesn't mean you should fall victim to it as well.

Don't get me wrong. I think the rework that the @OP provided here was nice and did make Thanatophobia good. What I disagree with is the similarity in purpose to Legion and frankly better potential at accomplishing their purpose. This is why I believe that either the purpose of Legion or Thanatophobia need to be changed before either one gets a buff. Quite the derailment, but I'll take responsibility for that.

    Edit:Spelling.

@WaffleFalafelYou can't exactly tell @tt_ivi_99 he's assuming your logic with his response then go on to contradict your statement by saying "UP does exactly what I believe a perk should: compliment a killer's power." We all know it's impossible to have every perk compliment every killer, but there doesn't need to be so many potentially good perks on the killers side that are only good with certain killers no matter how hard you try to make it work whereas survivors have so many good perks that are potentially good and they just have to build around it (since they don't have natural abilities/disadvantages to handicap them from making use of their perks like killers do). Thanataphobia is one of those potentially good perks that should be able to work for more than just high tier killers and mid high killers with certain addons. Don't take this as a personal diss but, screw legion needing reworks for it to work at its full potential when it can work vice versa and include more killers.

Unless I've been chasing that person then I take it as "Come git me scrub" and I'm not a triggery madhat so if I can get them I will and when I do I will run against them nodding furiously before flooring them like "wacchu gonna do now punk?"

Either way survivors wouldn't get points, since they weren't the ones to open the gates.

Survivors "yank points away" from killers by escaping, but I don't see anyone complaining about that.

@Orion Well escaping is a survivor objective, opening gates is not a killer objective it's a survivor one as well, so I'm thinking that they had in mind that the killers can steal that objective from them.

  • The fact that killers can be awarded points for doing it confuses me. I guess it's just snipping points away from survivors? Is that what some of these devs have in mind? Make it so that survivors and killers can yank points away from each other end game or something?

Then how do you know it's bad? If you haven't even tryed it yet hmmm? Instead of reading the patch notes give it a try first. Yea IM just as shocked as you and puzzled as to way they nerfed her. But give it a try before you post this. Thx

@jackkn12 Though I normally agree with this kind of statement, I feel like this is one of those instances where you don't need to test it to know it's a crap idea.

Just like you don't need to test opening the gate as killer to know that's a bs idea. I know I personally need to play through all the changes but, from my understanding, survivors are just really favorited by the devs and their game design testers need to freaking go and be replaced by people who actually play killer and survivor of equal skill and understanding. The rank system is garbage, the scoring is stupid and unbalanced, just when I thought with spirit, plague and legion they wanted to be better to killers dumb ideas like some I saw on the ptb notes come out. Can someone tell me if they fixed the volume issues and stopped making it easy to hear spirit phasewalking?

  • Update, this awesome guy PR I learned some tips from DC'd against me yesterday. I dunno why but he had bond/spinechill/balanced and some crap and I think its cause of havng crap teammates from matchmaking but seriously I'm tired of YTers and streamers DCing, it makes it seem ok to their following. Thano absolutely does not work on her. She is bad at spreading pressure and multiple injuries due to the fountain mechanic.

The only gimmicks that work on her perk wise are gen protection related, or you could just play the typical pallet ignorance with brute force endurance etc.

Now I said this before about the spirit. Who had some of the worst perk synergy initially. But then they introduced a new crows which highly increased her synergy strat for tracking. Legions perk synergy is a no brainer and his power screams on hit effects and debuffs.

But plague? You can semi guard gens..... thats literally about it. You can maybe make some interesting plays with Make Your Choice since her vomit tags the person who saves off the hook so you can easily track them down. But her Vile purge is literally useless... You're never going to run into situations where people are conveniently sick after a hook allowing you to spread KD's to their team. It doesn't happen. As soon as they know you landed the hook they go heal and its over. Her vomit doesn't alter peoples vision, cause exhaustion, extra bleeding, screams, it doesnt slow down gens, it doesnt prevent other actions....its just a target marker tbh. So what, they go broken? Its not a big deal. If it was more difficult to cleanse sure it would be a threat. But imagine if playing pig and using her bear traps meant that the first jigsaw box you went to EVERY TIME automatically removed it, AND HEALED THEM TO FULL. No matter what, no more looking for the correct box, the first one does it all the time. <-----It would literally make Pig unplayable. But since this mechanic is pretty much what the plagues power is it causes a negative side effect because of it.

They said in a dev post that tracking people down, vomiting on them until they are broken, and then hitting them was an intended game play design. But at the same time, THEY NERF THE VIABILITY OF THAT STRATEGY BY NERFING HER SPEED!?!?!

Why did I buy this character....

LOL, I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it to buy her with shards or just use money. I'm still at 0 devotion. One thing I don't understand about her for real are her add ons. I don't know why they couldn't at least add hindered and blindness. Because exhaustion on her puke would be pretty brutal imo. Or make add ons so when people use her fountains, they can get penalties for it like exhaustion for 40 seconds or something.

I think I have a decent plague build, well at least it's been working for me lately.

Perks: Pop Goes The Weasel, Bamboozle, Discordance, Ruin

Add-ons: Ashen Apple(or blessed apple) & Incensed Ointment

Basically, you use an apple add-on so you can go grab your corrupt purge at the beginning of the match and then head over to whichever gen discordance lights up and down a survivor with it. Then after hooking them break the gen with PGTW, rinse w/ vomit & repeat.

I agree though she needs a little boost for the mid-chapter patch so she's more viable and not so add-on dependent. I find that whole "Throw up on them until they're broken" strategy to be really ineffective and time-consuming.

    @PhantomMask20763 said:

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Gen rush is insane. It's good if survivors really don't pip after.

The power revolves around the survivors not the killer anymore.

I have yet to not blame being gen rushed on myself. If I'm being gen rushed it's because I didnt have good tracking perks at my disposal, I was being lazy with chases and didn't mindgame, I tried slugging and failed at it, I didn't protect gens and totems because I was just searching around for stealthy survivors instead of worrying about them doing their objectives. Basically, I was genrushed a lot as a newbie killer, but even though I don't keep perks and add ons on most of my killers, I still blame gen rushing on myself if it happens while I use one of those killers. Because it is my choice to go in unprepared for anything. On a map I can play and with the right gameplay in mind and some survivor mistakes. I still get DCs and kills like anyone else.

  • A basic tip for plague: You don't want the survivors to be OK with not healing. You want to pressure them just enough so that they will want to use fountains constantly. I can't tell you how much I HATE plagues that manage to do that to me and usually I'm the sickness ignoring gen jockey if my teammates do lose their marbles.

These are the first builds I'd wanna make on her perk wise when I get enough shards for her; so please take it with a grain of salt because I don't know how people normally build plagues:

    ** Discordance, Agitation, Bbq, Ruin

*** Discordance, Tinkerer, Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden

*** Thanatophobia, Ruin, Infectious Fright, BBQ (or Stridor or Whispers; whichever works best with this)

Add on wise: Increase infection duration on objects and whatever else. The idea I have in mind is to make it so that even if they are desperate enough or willing to get themselves infected they'll want to clean off asap before they can get broken and downed.

I've once seen a plague with overcharge or PGTW that was pretty hardcore, wish I remembered her build.

  • I think the word toxic is thrown around here so much because people get offended over playing the game the way it's meant to be played. I just use the word because it's everyday lingo here but. I personally LOVE the toxicity. I laugh a lot while playing this game.

This morning I was doing a survivor daily and my teammate was farming us by the killer and he didn't even seem to care if he was winning or not, he was just cleansing dull totems, touching gens, getting bold points or something, this dude was obviously just being a jerk. So then when I got to my killer daily time, I had the fortune of farming him as wraith and turning all of his hooks into unsafe hooks and making sure he died first. I don't see it as being toxic, I just see it as playing the game. He was trying to farm bp because he needs bp, and I was just farming him back when I got the chance as killer because I needed bp too and I didn't appreciate being sandbagged as a survivor. So if he gives 2 craps then he will learn his actions do have consequences and you never know when your survivor teammate is also a killer player who can eat that bootyhole.

    and knowing how toxic some triplets can be, i decided to come up with a plan, which was;

    kill off one david

down the other one who had a flashlight

    leave claudette to do gens

injure the other david and chase him off but not exactly down him.

so i did just that, and the last david to be on the hook was the one with a flashlight (who was being the most toxic by teabagging, pointing, sandbagging their teammates, etc.)

claudette went to go save him before he reached stage 2, but this dumb guy tried to kobe.

then he got mad because i blinked back over to him and killed himself in the process, and claudette was literally right there.

so i decided to make things easy (because 4 gens were left, and the hatch didn't spawn) and let claudette get her gens done.

in the endgame chat, the flashlight david went off on claudette on how she 'wasn't doing any gens' and 'was being useless to the team' even though she did the most work, and this guy was at the bottom of the scoreboard.

and he got extremely salty at me for 'tunneling' someone off the hook and cussed me and claudette out.

i took the time to explain my plan to him and told him off about how he was the one that was being useless by not doing anything other than running around and trying to piss me off/get flashlight saves. and he just straight up went quiet

and claudette and i laughed at how stupid this guy was being, because he kept on telling me to "get a job".

man kids can be so funny on this game nowadays,

@Skittlesthehusky Somemthing similar like this happened in one of my games a couple days ago. I was apparently playing with a trio of toxic survivors and the killer was a pretty hardcore built spirit who was out for blood. I ended up being the only one surviving but only because I was actually getting stuff done while they were running her around trying to be funny and she got so fed up she straight up ignored me for one whole gen. Then after I did like 3 gens on my own and opened the exit gate, she had noed and got rid of them and camped them. I couldn't save them and she could've gotten me by the gate but chose instead to stay by her slaughter. If I walked their direction she swung at the air so I was just like "mmmmkay then, it's all yours buddy." After game lobby was them calling spirit a loser and telling her she needed to git gud and learn how to play spirit and calling her a sweaty try-hard for using noed and spirit ripped them to pieces for being hypocrites for being mad with their perks and playstyle.

  • If killer tiers continue to exist I believe that survivor perks should be in tiers as well and killer perks should have little to no hierarchy.

  • To me it sounds like exploiting because you know that getting on dropped palettes to reach survivors is not an intended mechanic and you're abusing it by ignoring the intended play. How many DCs do you get for that?

  • I always want to use pgtw but the timer does put me off from it. I agree with 2.

So they have a 'leave game' button, but if you pressed it you're perma-banned.

that'd be an amazing gameplay experience lol

    @Zraith LOL

@Sythalin someone on this forum said a couple days ago that people who DC should just be paired with each other next round. Killers and survivors alike. Let them keep matching with each other and see how they like it. LOL I like that idea personally because I don't believe in punishing DCs since it is still possible to get necessary ones. Also because I get sick of going against or teaming with survivors who have idiot names like

    Toxic Killer=DC

    Noed=DC

    Legion/Nurse=DC

    Camping/Tunneling=DC

Honestly I think they will get salty over more things than just what's in their name.

Once there was a Laurie that joined my game, I was a survivor and she named herself "Toxic Killer=DC" and I made a joke like "Lol a laurie named that, I bet she has selfcare and decisive". Then when the game was loading she DC'd to three man us and I bet it was because of what I said. End game lobby comes and she HAD SELF CARE AND DECISIVE AND DELIVERANCE AND WGLF and a toolbox with good addons. It's obvious she wanted to farm and didn't want the killer interfering with it.

A double rainbow is a phenomenom of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere!

And usually if you see it in parking lots that's just car oil getting ready to pollute the waters and grass land once the rain comes and washes it down the nearest drain or watershed!

  • When it happens it'd be Dwight, Kate, Meg, and Claudette incase I ever want to be a butthole. Because whenever I join a lobby with 3+ Claudettes I ask them if I can join their sister squad (Yes I went there JC fans) and usually they say yes. One claudette called me a smelly creep because I was using defalt david and told me I can't join their club.

    Dang those regina georges.

My build on Legion : Franklin's, Sloppy, Ruin, Nurse Calling/BBQ

@Faishun You don't need nurses calling on legion depending on your rank because smart survivors won't heal against him and nurses+sloppy on the same build is a slot wasted imo, you don't need franklins because items really don't matter against an efficient legion.

I see a lot of legions using Monitor and Abuse, Overcharge, Discordance, and BBQ with a couple switches here and there

    Enjoy. :)

Yeah this video saved me from deleting my huntress daily rituals, highly recommend.

  • @PeepingPeacock More like "Why should we get rid of killer tiers?" instead of just asking them to make more high rank killers and give bonuses to lower tier killers who perform well at higher ranks in the meanwhile.

@ItsYourBoyGuzmaI don't know what you mean by an actual moba but the mobas I know of do have tier lists too.

It's always something i really questioned about the Devs, It's a decision that hurts the game and they wont change their stance on it.

The Devs spend all this time creating these unique powers and amazingly designed Killers just to chose to make them weaker knowing full well they wont be used as much as the stronger killers, It's a complete waste.

Variety is Desperately needed in a game like this, Facing the same few killers over and over because their the only viable ones while also doing the same objective of generators over and over makes the game go stale very quickly. It gets boring.

There's also the fact that a lot of people who would play the game longer don't because they don't enjoy the very few viable killers on the list and enjoy the playstyle and powers of weaker ones but just can't put up the same fight.

The Game would be so much better if all killers were viable for everybody.

@Bongbingbing I like how you worded that, especially saying "people get tired of putting up with the same fight". I felt like I understood the struggle on a personal level.

Yeah I don't get why they continue to make weaker killers either. I guess plague isn't so bad, should get a minor buff imo but Legion without his add ons is....idddkkk, I've seen some good ones on video but never in game. If the devs do decide to keep a hierarchy they need to add more high tier killers seriously.

So you use it in case your team is playing bad lul

@Slayer Yeah man! That or the killer is too dang good and I need to try and trigger some adrenalines! Or if it's a camping killer then toolboxes will help to punish their camping by genrushing. Same way killers have 2 add ons to boost themselves and or hinder survivors, survivors have an item and add-ons for the item to make it last longer and or work better. You just need to worry about making your killer counter the items in their hand. If I'm playing killer and i see survivors running a map or key, I'm going to assume they're likely stealthy and gonna try to find my totems sooner than the people with a toolbox or the medkit, and such and such. I'm not gonna lose my potential bp/points by just bringing a mori out of worry of losing. If I bring a mori, its because I dont mind getting less points and just feel like doing one. Its in no way going to help me get better at learning survivors and countering them.

@Slayer TreemanXD is my psn and once again I quote “survivors that give me a bad feeling” seriously you’re either trolling or can’t read.

@TreemanXD Heads up if I ever turn on my ps4 dbd again I'm gonna add you.

@Slayer because I play solo and I don't know if I can trust my teammates to stay on gens while I'm being chased so I try to get done as much as I can before I get chased and afterwards. There are good killers out there who can pressure survivors and survivors out there who get too scared to touch a generator if they hear a terror radius or their dumb spinechill or prenomition activates or if the see someone get hooked and assume the killer has bbq. Those types of survivors are trying to protect themselves early and it wastes time. I also bring a medkit for the same reason and because I don't run selfcare. Sometimes I need to heal myself before rescuing someone too. Why do you *Need* a mori because of A toolbox or medkit? Maybe you need more perks on your favorite killers?

There are a ton of salty peeps on this game. Use the same trick i use that a streamer taught me. Anytime someone gets super salty rage at u. Just use pervy innuendoes in a generalized fashion and watch them either leave disgusted or explode with rage and salt and their brain cells stop working. Meanwhile u and prob ur teammates are laughing their butts off at the rage nerd. Made a few friends with survivors as killer by doing this wen one survivor got super salty

@Purr One of my friends does that, he has years and years of sexual harassment reports to his name from freaking child hood because he can't stop threatening to pleasure some salty person in vulgar ways. MANY times on dbd it backfired because he'd call some random salty player cute and sexy and what not and it'd be a girl who for some reason loses salt over that. Thus he has tons of dbd girl friends.

Generally the closest I see people doing this is by randomly saying "I love you" to a salty person and they start throwing around gay slurs and f yous. Good stuff 10/10

Time to return to playing the game optimally cause why not? Noob survivors bring toolboxes cause gen times is not enough for them lol

@Slayer If noob survivors bring toolboxes then what do you call the killers who complain about toolboxes? Not every toolbox is going to be a green or purple. 9/10 times personally if I bring in a tool box its yellow or brown with brown add ons or no add ons. Many survivors are also nice enough to not 4man with toolboxes in their hands because they know the killers will either close the lobby, or DC while the game is loading or as soon as the match starts to make them lose the items, or the killer will bring a mori and their most try hard killer/perks (which is what they should be doing if they see 4 toolboxes rather than just DCing or complaining about it).

  • Do you think that she meant to take you off the hook but decided to keep healing instead? Maybe she thought you were on your final hook? I'm starting to think that Mat_Stella may be right.
