I only camp/tunnel wiggle DS (aka non obsession DS) users, because thats frustrating af. Obviously it depends on the situation, but at least when I chase the obsession I know whats going to happen next. Non obsession DS users usually won't get fun experience in my lobby.

Because every match at red ranks is identical to Marth88's team? lul
No, but u missed the point. He answered to that guy who said he can "beat every sweaty death squad with low tier killers"
And he said he has proof but not gonna provide it (lame excuse, he doesn't have proof he's probably a survivor main trying to fool people)

Some killers can benefit from thick mist (Trapper's traps, crouching Pig, stalking Myers, cloaked Wraith) which is why killers get the same offerings as survivors in terms of mist.
Lmao maybe at rank 15, but against good survivors mist will ALWAYS benefit the survivor more than the killer

That's why you need Thana to punish them for not healing. If they try to do this gens take forever solo and they have to team up. They are forced to heal first then do gens, which Sloppy punishes by making heals take forever.

how is something balanced at the top level balanced for all levels of play? and normally I would agree with that statement but dbd isn't a competitive game.
Simply because the top levels will give the standard of what is counterable and what not (aka broken). If you attempt to balance around the "average casual" the top level players will abuse that.
Best example is D-Strike: in the hand of noobs it's not a big deal, you down them within 10 seconds again (if they even hit the skillcheck) but in the hands of good players it's absolutly broken. That's why you take the top players as reference to balance the game for everyone. That's how balancing works in every single game.

Not really. His appears on top of survivors out of nowhere. If they aren't next to a pallet or window and he's carrying the instasaw add ons then it's easy to get an instadown.
There's a real contradiction when it comes to Hillbilly. He's apparantly so easy to loop yet he'd also the second best killer in the game. Those two things don't add up.
You can avoid everything by beeing aware and sticking to loops. U can loop billy aswell, and a minority is capable of doing perfect and deadly curving at loops (and even then it's open for mindgames, survivors can bait that).
Imo if you go down within the first minute of the match you did the mistakes.

No they weren't bad they were good so guess it does matter how I play as the killer cause most swf groups I dominate there's only odd few where 1 maybe 2 will escape, it's rare when I come across a group where all or just 3 escape...
I've been gen rushed loads to where its down to1 gen left or exist gates need be opened from death squads an still fu*ked them up without using NOED or ######### like that, death squads ain't all that once you play them enough as you get used to their plays so can start predicting what to do next...
Sure lad, everyone buys your story. Wanna give us a livestream how you stomp those sweaty death squads with a low tier killer?

The mechanic should be basekit, but the time should be increased. With the addon you could decrease the time. Trapper is just garbage against swf, especially if they use OoO and call out the trap positions

Yes the most balanced killer is the one that can have a survivor instadowned in the first 10 seconds of the game and create an immense snowball at any minute. *Rolls eyes*
Spirit is a good candidate. Has options at every pallet, but takes 2 hits to down survivors. Has snowball potential but not overwhelmingly slow. When phasing she can either wreck survivors or miss completely. She's a strong balanced killer.
Sorry man, whoever gets downed by a blind chainsaw sprint in the first 10 seconds is absolute garbage and should go back to rank 20 and learn the basics.

1. Billy
2. Nurse
3. Myers
4. Huntress
5. Wraith
6. Spirit
7. Bubba
8. Legion

I can handle groups of swf with with all the killers I have at red ranks so I can disagree with that comment, its just about how you play with the killers an their strategy etc
U had bad swf groups then, simple is that. Swf death squads are going to dominate you, and it doesn't matter how skilled you are because the survivors rule the match.

I just hate the damn hitbox of Hatchets when trying to throw at Survivors ducking around loops, even tho their back or head stick out and you try to get a hit and it just takes a nose dive into the surrounding environment or hits invisible walls in the air.
Oh man I could tell you storys. Whenever I play survivor I can duck/juke hatches. Visually it shouldn't hit me, but it still does. And when I play huntress the hitboxes are not only perfect, but also go through the survivors (doesn't happen always, but often at vaults and slides).
It's inconsistent
-
Windows 10 has an inbuilt recording software, just press window+g to open and start recording
-
Tbh tho, this is pretty "normal" for p2p multiplayer games, it's the same scenario when you wonder how you died around a corner in other shooter games.
But the thing about DbD is that the hitboxes are broken aswell, sometimes the survivor has an hitbox like an elephant, sometimes like a little peanut (from killers perspective) so I think dedicated servers will only partially solve the hitbox issue, the devs need to change something else aswell, especially around the time of vaults.

Exactly man. Like me personally... I don't really want another female killer in this game. As the great majority of them are male in real life.
But you don't see me on here harping about it and being sexist about it. It's cool. If they do it... that's cool. I know that is different from religion. I'm just saying, that I choose not to be disrespectful about stuff like that.
If they put a Muslim person as a survivor.. I think that would be over the line. I completely do not agree with Islam in any way, but that also would be too much. It isn't about what I am, or anything it's about what is right and what is respectful.
I agree man.
I'm glad to see someone in the internet who has (imo) a healthy moral and mind.

You mean people do the objective they're supposed to? :O
If they stay injured, it's a one hit down. Easier.
If you still have issues with genrush, and not healing, run tinkerer? Bitter murmer?
There are plenty of perks at your disposal to tailor your playstyle, and to makeup for where you have issues.
I don't have issues, what are u talking about lol
-
No. Have some respect to religious people, noone wants his most loved personality getting beated up and slaughtered in a damn video game.
Disrespectful to ask this, and I'm suprised that people really want this. But I'm sure the devs are professional enough not to do that.

Yet the big big majority of Survivors choose to invest their time healing, even with Sloppy Butcher on them. And its not wrong. Running around injured to do generators might be effective, but its risky. Get found by the Killer and its half of your chase gone. Its like having a free exposed and Whispers effects.
The best survivors I verse don't heal, especially not for the last 2 or less gens. And this "tactic" is getting more and more popular since the healing nerf and all the killers using sloppy butcher.
All I'm trying to say is that the plan to slow down the game didn't work, in fact people genrush more and more.
Let's see what's going to happen next
-
Not a good counter, because now optimal survivors won't heal at all and genrush with adrenalin lol
At least I do this since the healing nerf, and as long as you are good enough at chasing you don't care about beeing injured. Unless it's a nurse. And since the release of Legion it's even more a waste of equipping selfcare.
People were complaining about genrushing and now survivors genrush even more. Let's see when it makes "click" in the head of the last guy.

I've been waiting for some type of gamma/brightness support for colorblind players for a long time. I play killer like a T-Rex, I have to watch for movement because many survivors blend into the map. Especially Claudettes with the cammo shirt. I ran third party colorblind software, but it hinks up the cheat detector. Had to disable that. If I could brighten the screen sometimes, it might help some.
Try playing this game in nearly black and white and see how well you do following scratches. :)
Actually you can bright up your screen if you are running Windows 10. There is a command where you can adjust the gamma value
-
Oh yeah, the controller vibration is a really nice idea.
Maybe mixing it together with some visual signs would help them even more. For example red pumping corners which get more intense the closer the killer is (the loader the heartbeat is). Obviously you could turn it on or off in the settings. This would help players who are playing on mouse and keyboard instead with controller.

I dont care about my team when im against a broken killer like the nurse, nothing u can do against her, pallet? Windows? All useless, so the best choice i can do its to leave the match soon as possible. (I never disconnect) when they balance her i can finally play vs every killerMan What a crybaby you are. Nurse is a DIFFERENT killer, just because you are to lazy to learn how to beat her doesn't mean she's broken. Obviously, if you keep dying on hook you will never learn. You just want to loop around tiles against every killer
Nurse is the only killer who has a chance against the most sweaty tryhard SWF death squads.

Yeah, I never understood how that's a counter. U basically waste a perkslot to be injured.. Well, just let you hit once and you are injured aswell. And noone slugs a no mither survivor anyway, it's a useless perk and more for giggles and challenges than anything else
-
Yeah NOW you don't need that change, but wait till the second objective drops and you would wish that you would have voted for yes. Because solos need to be even more efficient and there would be 100% no time for every solo to check if all 5 got cleansed.popoles said:I am against this idea. As a solo survivor, I am cleansing every totem I see. I don't need this buff at all and it also removes the "immersion", because how can my Feng know that there are 5 totems left even though she saw only 1?
Or add it to the Small Game.
But whatever, if you don't care to close the gap it's up to you. I want to balance that mess. And the UI counter is a perfect step without buffing swf.
And by that logic, how does your feng know there is 5 gens to do without seeing them? -
Maybe the devs could also add these "community challenges" (they sometimes posted that on reddit I guess) when you have to use certain builds and those who succeed will get rewardedPeanits said:That would be nice to have. I voted No, It feels like too much information and puts the killer at an even more disadvantage. This would help solo survivors though with totem info that swf may share. to give this info to survivors you would need to buff totems for killers to benefit them somehow. You and many others see this as a "one step buff for solos and nothing for killers" change, but in fact with this exclusive solo survivor buff (swf won't get stronger with that information, they already share it) we are one step closer to close the gap between solo and swf and as a result we can buff killers without completely make the solo experience to a hell ride. We need to think 2 steps ahead, even if the first step sounds bad for killers, at the end killers will benefit form that.
Because I think the only reason why the devs are holding back to buff killers so they can compete with sweaty swf groups is that they don't want to hurt solos to much. Hopefully that makes sense and you change your vote to "Yes" :) Except the killer buffs are a load of horse feces and will never come. That's what all the killers already know. It's funny there is all these solo buffs being talked about yet not a single iota of information about what killer buffs are coming to compensate. Anyone have an inkling or is it something that will be pondered for years while in the interim the killers are expected to just endure? Never mind the fight that will have to be made for every crumb of compensation as the newly buffed survivors fight to keep their ez mode. Yeah, that's the ticket. What a crock and the shills are out in full force trying to help it gain traction. But 2-3 men swf groups are still not that strong compared to 4 man SWF groups. I always take reference to 4 man groups because these are the death squads who are making the killers life to a hell. My overall killer buff idea would be a second objective for survivors. For now, a second objective would work against those swf "death squads" but against solos it's heavy.
We all want the second objective for survivors, I just think it's currently not practical for Solos (obviously it depends on how the second objective is).

All perks unlocked would already make a huge difference and would be helpful, not everyone has the time grind all if them during 2 weeks and to test how the killer works with different builds.Peanits said:It would be a nice change. The issue I do see though is that so long as you're giving people everything, a lot of people are going to use the best things they've got available to them. While it's important to see what that'll be like so rarer add-ons can be balanced as well, if you can just use very rare and ultra rare add-ons every game as the new killer, a bunch of people would.
I think it would be best if you have everyone the same stuff to start out with. All perks, a couple of each add-on up to rare, then left the rest up to progress made from playing. That way very rare/ultra rare stuff stays rare and doesn't become the norm. Let's not forget that KYF is there if you just want to have everything and run the best add-ons the entire time. -
