before 50 ive had 3 and 4 mori in a single level , granted it was 40's but 3 and 4 pre 50 in one web is a lot . Then again ive seen bbq one time leveling up a killer to p3 and its still level 1, but I seen shdowborn 5 levels in a row . I think they have done some tweaking on the killers web . better items , crapy perks , lol .
-
for me swf has always been a negative experience no matter what side im on . If its as a survivor and your the lone man out prey you stay out of the killers view cause they leave you to die , even most 2 mans will focus on their buddy then the rest of the people on the team . As a killer 3+ usually sucks , 2 or 2+2 not too bad until you get those depipping tards whos only skill is beating people far below their skill levels , that and the ones who team up with all their rank 2 buddies at 16 .
And the depipping goes both ways too . how many streamers are level 80+ playing a level 15 p3 killer or survivor . If I was level 15 and p3 I think I would be hiding it because it just goes to prove I don't have skill or I cant win against people above that level . This is why the survivors need the op swf organization , at level 15 a 3 or 4 swf group equals one of the upper levels de piped killer . Its just poor mechanics all over in one giant cluster ...
-
I usualy have this happen on pc about once or twice a week , usually freddy or doc im playing , but when I check my levels it records it as a dc , I lost pips and didn't gain anything . Seems like a stutter in the conection that some reason tricked your side into seeing the survivors as dc's when it was you that gets the dc .
-
my only complaint with the map is that the bamboo is so dense that you cant see scratchmarks through it and this negates certain killer abilities all together . I don't feel the map should negate any ability survivor or killer .
Now as to people talking about trapper pig and doc yes I can see this map is a great one for them , the smaller size with the doc set up right and there is no stealth just like the warehouse , pig can disappear in the bamboo easily , and a trappers traps much like scratchamrks cannot be seen at all . So for those wanting points that make those killers strong on that map there you go .
-
@powerbats said:
The map is difficult yes but there's been a lot of good games on both sides and it's not just about scratch marks. That's what some people don't get about that map and some killers have expounded on about all maps in general. You need to pay attention to sounds, movement, breathing, are plants moving showing someone's there etc. If you're head is down in the weeds not paying attention to anything else you're going to lose people.
I understand your point , mine is that the map itself shouldn't negate perks in general . with the changes to preditor like they did this map basically turns that perk into a waisted spot altogether . perks should be a bennifit not a drawback because of map design be it survivor or killer .
-
I will agree and disagree both . I don't think the corn is all that difficult to keep track of a running survivor . I do though agree with the bamboo being to dense to see scratchmarks effectively . there is a difference from being stealth friendly and something being so dense it obliterates the trail they put into the game for you to follow .
as far as some maps being certain killer friendly and being crap for other killers that is fine , not every killer should have mastery over every map . But a map where you can not only loose sight of the prey your chasing but the trail just as easily they put in the game for you to follow that seems a bit off . combine that map and the changes to certain perks where it tightens the trail you can easily get hosed and makes that perk more a drawback if you actually use it .
-
the problem I see with it is in the current meta almost every survivor runs self care and this is where it gets the drawback . if they realy want to make it anti camp make it more like bbq . where every hook get a passive stack though the % would have to be low otherwise it would become op .
personally it would need a total rework imo to be really viable and anti camp . make it trigger hard skillchecks more often based on the amount of hooks , this way a survivor stands the chance of triggering a notice for the killer and giving him a direction to run not to mention the generator taking a hit as well . So basically instead of it being see all auras outside a certain range , anyone working a gen/selfhealing/sab gets a hard skillcheck . it allows survivors the ability to avoid it why allowing killers a anti camp tool without a guaranteed aura read .
-
I can agree with both the wraith and trapper changes as well as the idea of adding more traps in general on the map . With that being said I also think the doc needs his passive madness scream toned down a bit .
before you flame me on this there are reason why , playing a survivor I have seen this all to often . his passive works off of his terror radius and with the right perks that is a huge area thus allowing him the ability to know where survivors are very easily and on certain maps you cant seem to get out of it . I don't mean nerf the hell out of it but let the passive stay to its original terror radius instead of the expanded . leave the madness like it is after that .
I play both survivor and killer so I wouldn't consider myself a survivor main or killer , but im more of a killer main then I am survivor if you need to classify me . And yes I do play the doc , sadly some of my favorite killers are the worst in the game at high ranks .
-
Swf is actually counter productive to the game . Originaly the basis was for friends to play together with the original design of the gam without voice coms . problem is they cant police voice coms and thus its snowballed into a very unbalance and toxic interaction most of the time . this also allows for a lot of perks to become useless . Empathy for example , why would you need that when you already know where your friend is .
they said in the beginning they didn't want to add voice coms to the game and I think we have a good idea why , look at where its taking the game . I think now they have to either decide to add it so all survivors have access to it and balance it around the voice coms and organization . this would then of course cause them to have to rework perks like empathy . the other option is to remove it , thus making people lobby dodge until they get their groups they want like the did in the beginning .
I honestly don't think they thought swf through with the original game design , otherwise why not just add voice coms in the beginning along with swf . Balance is the answer to why they didn't and they knew it then , they have just ignored it as long as they are still making money .
there is no real win here , if they remove it people will complain who want it , if they balance around it the solo player will suffer and complain , they leave it as is and the killers and some solo players will suffer and complain .
I do like the idea of a mechanic like option 2 though where if a group is in play they suffer some side effect for the organization and voice coms , at least that would be a short term fix to a growing issue .
-
ive been experimenting with this . it seem the way it works is the person who made the initial group is what it goes by that is why you see 2's in a level 18 match up and 18's in a level 2 match . there is a range of what the matchup looks for so say a 18 might get a rang of 16-20 depending on available players , so if they make the group with friends in the 10-2 range those players will be playing a killer in the 16-20 range .
this is just another thing that is broken about the swf grouping , the developers know about it and we haven't head anything at all , they pretend they don't know at least as far as the information they give out is concerned . the only info ive heard was them supporting swf months ago when they implemented it and talked about how big of a success it was with 70% of all games played being some form of swf .
Since then I haven't heard anything from the developers about it , but the community has voiced up pro and con about it on a daily thread and usualy multiples . ive heard a lot of killers wanting opt outs , survivors complaining how swf only work together and if they are the odd man they are left to die because the 3 man can win just as easy without them . people complaining about the rank imbalance in matchs because of it , the list goes on .
-
before swf was in game people complained about survivors lobby dodging , now survivors are complaining about killers lobby dodging swf groups . The devs have arealy posted numbers before that 70% of matches were swf and that was a bit ago , now they seem more frequent then that . so it seems the only logical choice is to balance around swf and most importantly the voice coms .
This will leave the solo survivors to suffer some , simple solution is to just add voice coms in game and then all survivors solo or grouped have access to it .
If there is no balance and we keep going down the road of ignore it and it might go away … what will go away is killers . we have already seen this trend . Untill they released the spirit and the free to play weekend with half off killers were steadily switching sides or stopped playing altogether .
the current solution for a killer main is lobby dodging . the current solution for the game developers is add a new killer and a half off every quarter to increase sales and replace lost killers , problem with that is how long will that work ?

Not sure why you are complaining now. Rank 1 has always had terrible ques. People derank for a reason.I just jumped from rank 5 to 4 last night and the difference was immediate.
he is correct on that as well the rank you are at will also play a factor in que times , the 5-15 ranks seem to be more killer friendly , the top and bottom seem to have the longer times during peak .
-
I say just make them toolbox based with about the same length of time as a sab does , or even just lump them in with sabo that way the perk would apply as well . Meaning that you can get them off the board with either a perk or a toolbox and addons would effect it same as a hook . this would make up for the fact a killer uses a perk to have active totems as well as the highly obvious places they are located . This would bring back usefulness to a lot of them . just my thoughts ...
-
last week they released a new killer , coupled with last weekend being a ftp/dbl bp and sale so we get a lot of new players , that means a lot of people wanting to try killer or the new killer . this happens every ftp/dbl bp weekend with a half off sale , couple that with a new killer and it gets worse . Give it a few weeks to start to thin out .
Just as a example of the math if 50k people are playing and its split equaly between killer and survivors that means all 25k survivors will get into one of the 6250 matches , while a additional 18750 killers wait in que . When its 4v1 someone is going to have a longer que time , and usually its the killer in this situation on PC . If you try the offpeak times you may find your ques to be fairly short . I play survivor during peak with almost insta ques and offpeak killer with not quite insta ques but very little wait times .

I got my start with origin before ea , left them and went to verant interactive and sony acquired them , from there to funcom with anarchy online as a gm and eventually ran a event team , then back to sony for swg , Funny enough the reason swg no longer exhists is because sonys nge shot the game and lucas pulled the rights to it . that is why swtor release date and swg's end dates are days apart . the end of one license and the beginning of the new one ...
-
sorry I didn't do the math for you , if 50k players were online and they were split killer and survivor equally . that means 6250 matches are gonna be played while 18750 killers are waiting for a que . this is just a example of how the math works out and why one side seems slower then the other ...

I wanna play killer just for fun but it's impossible to find survs and I know it's a surv side game but at least devs fix that ffs. I mean it seems that killer mains are talking to a wall when they notice a issue (poor killer mains) It's boring only playing as survhere is the real issue that you are not seeing . Its not that this is a survivor side game its actually just the opposite issue . If 50k players are online to play a 4v1 game and 25k of those are killers how many games are actually taking place vs how many stuck waiting . This is why survivors get ques so much faster right now .
Every time they have a free to play/dbl bp event and a release of a new killer we have a huge influx of people trying to play killer . If you give it a few weeks it will start to level off a bit . also keep in mind that peak times are actually the worst time to try to play a killer in a killer heavy platform . Usually the off peak times are the easiest to get killer games and peak is the easiest to get survivor games . I know this sounds backwards but it takes 4 survivors and only 1 killer to start a match , so if 4x the amount of survivors isn't logged in then matches will take a lot of time for killers to get .
-
a lot of the time when you have 1 or 2 rank 2 killers its because they qued in a swf group and the leader was in your rank . its one more thing about swf groups that are broken , but the 4 level 2's vs a 14 is a bit excessive and not sure how this happens … I have personally had matches where I played against much higher ranks as well but not to that extreme .
-
if your using say bbq and when you hook you see 0 auras they just gave you the reason to sit there , you know they are close by . now if you stand face to face even then that might be a bit extreme at least try to find those close by and patrol . So I guess it really comes down to if your looking for them then not camping , if you just stand there at the hook staring at it probably camping still .
either way , devs said it is a legit strat ...

I used to work for sony back in the day as a professional alpha/beta tester , specifically swg , spent 3 years on that game before it ever went live (wasn't even close to finished even then) . that is where I picked up my knowledge on how ip license work . Back then lucas still owned star wars so he was very hands on and like you said it why it took so long , if he wasn't happy we had to rework and retest it .
-
I cant say for sure , but I can tell you about how the license works . They have to pay the holder for the ability to put it in their game . those contracts usually keep the artistic values set to the holder . thus they have to submit a proposed idea to get the ok to make the final product , once made and approved they cant alter or change it without getting consent to do so . that means changing animations , cosmetics and such has to be approved before they can be implemented . as far as the performace changes goes that the in game balancing and this is where they can make changes so unless a animation is causing a issue they cant just change or add things . this is the way most license work , maybe it will help you understand , but like I said I don't know the specifics of their license so I cant say for fact .
-
its not realy that bad , the hardest places to be is the rank 20 and rank 1 areas . Only reason I say this is that you have issues at 20 getting killer games and at 1 you have issues not dealing with the swf organized hardcore groups . Its also why if yopu notice a lot of the killer streamers will depip off stream into the 10-15 ranks as they are easier to get games that are not hardcore swf .
and don't get me wrong the hardcore groups can be beaten but those matches are about mistakes , whatever side makes the biggest one causes their team to loose , and there are only a couple killers that are strong enough to effectively handle them . so unless you like playing nurse (I don't really like her) then you are kinda putting yourself in a hole to start with .
Which leads us to the only real problem I see with rank one , all survivors are exactly the same , they have the ability to get the same perks the same items , but killer are all unique , and the devs have stated they don't want all killers to be viable at rank 1 . Problem is then there is no real choices to be had for killers and with rank 1 been made so easily obtained it leaves people having to depip to play their favorite killer if its not nurse or billy . this means your either forced to learn and play killers you don't want to to stay competitive or depip to play the ones you enjoy . this is a developer mistake imo but at the same time it explains why the 15-5 ranks are full of different killers and easier to get games ...

@Grimbergoth Good points. Thanks. Maybe I'll just do Survivor in the meantime if it comes to it. Bloodpoints are Bloodpoints. I can always put them into a Killer.
Also keep in mind that if you get 1 min ques with survivor and 20+ min ques with killer that the bp earned can be used anyplace . So the games you can play as a survivor during peak times would probably outweigh the bp you get in the same time as a single killer match takes . And you can still use the bp to level the killer of your choice .
It basically what I do is play survivor during peak and like at this time of night I play killer . I did get the perks I wanted basically on one survivor since they are just skins in the end and use most of my bp on the killers . Then again I didn't go for the easy crutch build on a survivor of ds/adr/sb and so on , I just use a claud with her perks and slippery or sab tossed in there . Im not a pro survivor either so don't think I am , I also avoid swf groups just because I don't like them as a killer . I try to play both sides the way I see them from the other side , so if I think swf is unbalanced as a killer what would that say about me if I used it as a survivor ...

killers have the same point potential as survivors. thats not a factor.sorry that point was to the op .
Also, survivors get hardly any blood points and that needs to be addressed majorly. I play killer mostly since they get so many blood points and I can use them on upgrading, why would I play something that makes me progress slower?

Marvel said:I have 450 hours and 2 characters on prestige 1. It will take TONS!!!! of hours to get all prestige 3 xP
idk what youve been doing, but 450 hours for two p1s is some insane afk time
actually this can be account for in lobby time as well , certain ranks and times of days killers right now can take 20 mins to get a match . This also relates to the amount of games vs bloodpoints you mentioned with survivor and killer gains being different . If a killer averages 25k per game and a survivor 15k per game but it takes a killer 20 mins to que and the survivor 3 mins add in you 15 min playtime that is 35 mins for a killer and 18 mins for a survivor thus meaning they are about equal . How is that equal well if in 36 mins a survivor plays 2 games to the killers one they have the average of 30k for one min longer time vs the killers 25k .
Like you said though the numbers are all speculative and also the time of day , what system you play on effect times as well . So to say that 450 hours is some serious afk time I would think can be very incorrect . Plus then factor in not everyone comes into the game a expert at it , so you have to figure out the learning curve for that person , how much times they are experimenting and getting wrecked in games as a newbie .
-
here is something I don't understand about the video , at 21:47 marker you are reporting this after he hooks and kills you , before the whole not killing anyone even happens . This seems staged to me because how would you know what is going to happen before it actually happens ? I also notice this is a swf game as well , ant the top score was a rank 18 , looks like a farming group , plus at the end they did complete the gens and escape .

@Grimbergoth I gotcha. Now, if only the [BAD WORD] Rank 20 Killer queue would fill with some Survivors, that would be nice (PC). Kind'a hard to play and rank-up when you can't get a damned match. And this was during prime-time, even. Two nights now, I wait about 15 minutes and then just say to hell with it. Survivor is fairly quick to pop, but I prefer Killer.you would think prime time would be the easiest to get a que but it isn't . Pc right now is killer heavy cause of the spirit release as well as the dbl /free weekend new players , for a week or two after those events its usually killer central . Play the off times and you will find ques are easier to get .
I think the reason is during peak time say there are 50k players queing and half are killers , in a 4v1 setting it takes a lot more (4x) survivors to keep ques moving . now in the off hours when the kids are in bed at school and so on the killer population tends to drop a lot more then survivors , so say off peak there is 20k but only 6k killers , meaning ques will pop a lot faster . \
though as I said before , in a week or two once the newness wears off the ques will balance out a bit better , especially once the new players see how much survivors overperform against them and then start playing survivors ...

@Marvel and @Grimbergoth As a new player, I keep being told to level this character or that character and unlock teachables. Then I see these threads here and at Reddit, and I sit back and go: Well, maybe going back to Overwatch isn't so bad, after all.Seriously, if I want an Asian RNG grind, there are MMOs for that. Hint: I don't. It's why I stopped playing MMOs, finally. The more I see the threads and then go off and research that aspect of the game elsewhere, the less hyped I feel to play it.
It's totally fine if you start and you play mostly 2-4 characters, you get enough BP to get the important perks but as soon as you have all killers/survivors with unlocked perks things change and it takes a lot longer to get certain perks on killer or survivor X if you haven't played him/her that often.
it a fair bit of luck , take the spirit I have , she has both noed and bbq at level 3 and shes just 40 . But like marvel said its once you have a lot of the perks for each survivor or killer that the perk pool get huge . if you say start with 20 perks total and then add 3 per killer you unlock to 40 and we have what 10 killers now that is another 30 perks you dump in there . It would be nice if there was a way to block or sort through them easier then just leveling up because once you p3 a character the web is massive and takes a ton of bp to cycle each level .
at the same time if they didn't add a rng or allowed you to block certain ones then what you would have is everyone blocking all but the perk they want to get it the fastest and so on basically hand picking perks . I try to see thing from both sides if I can so I understand the rng reasoning . but maybe tweak it so if you pass a perk two or three times it doesn't keep showing up , that or if you pick one that it has better odds or reappearing in the web the higher you get .Its just a wishlis is all .
-
Im, sure there are a ton of stream snippers and toxic swf groups out there that would cheer on this idea , but for me ill say …..what part of no didn't they understand , the n or the o ?
-
i am almost on p3 with a killer and have yet to see bbq one time on any level set , and before you ask yes I have it unlocked . But I keep seeing sb and and bloodhound almost every level . Im starting to think its either total luck or you have to pick up every perk in order for it to rotate otherwise it seems to rotate the same ones back in you pass more frequently . acctualy he hasn't seen noed either come to think about it , those are the two perks I don't always use in a build but like to have for the killers .
-
heres my opinion on a couple points . if you unhook in front of me im going for the guy just unhooked to give you a unsafe penalty thus a deterant to keep doing it , if im running bbq and I hook someone and of 3 survivors I can see aura of one I know the other 2 are close so im looking for them .
A lot of survivors say he camped or he tunneled me without telling anyone the whole story . like ohh most my team was hiding close by is why he camped me , or he tunneled because they unhooked in his face …
Like before mentioned though there has already been a statement saying they are not against the rules and no reportable , so don't give the killer a reason and a lot of them wont do it . I leave the hooks once ive hooked someone unless bbq is telling me not to , I may go to a gen or pallet to break them first but I do leave . I also tend to go for a fresh hook when running bbq unless like I said they do it in front of me and I got for the unsafe .
-
I get this a lot as well , don't really care its when I log out with 1600 cells and then log in the next day with 1300 that I take insult to it , and this has been happening as well . I think its a save error that isn't showing the message like a few weeks ago .
-
as much as I would like tosay this is different I can see what they were talking about . I don't think they are saying the voice there and here kinda thing . I think its how those programs relay data that the opposing team don't have access to , and how discord or steam or anything else can allow survivors to relay data that the opposite team or killer doesn't have access to . if it were 4v2 then I would say discord is fine because both sides stand equal ground .
I don't think banning for using it is the right call either , but I do think something needs done , balance around it you make solo players suffer , don't , you make killers suffer for it , there is a real no win situation they create with it . It doesn't matter what they do it will upset one group or another and there will be imbalance . you have 3 factions at play here , solo survivors , swf survivors , and killer . No matter what they do to try and balance things out one of the three will always be least favorable impacted side . With the dev stats the last I heard that 70% of all games were some form of swf I would say its looking like balancing around it . that or just change the format to a 5v2 , but if you put 2 killers in then people will scream its unfair for them to have voice coms ...
-
you could also just get a steam card and give them the number from that and let them load it to their account .
-
i can say I have had a much better quality of games in general as both survivor and killer this weekend . A lot of new blood playing who are not toxic , it makes for more fun overall , even when loosing . People think that getting out alive means they win , I guess for those who need a statistic to validate themselves it would be . To me its more fun win or loose , being able to enjoy the game .
I got soo upset earlier today because we had 4 random survivors against a freddy and it was such a great game . we had 2 gens left , only one dead , just snaped out a fellow survivor and we started working on a gen and then it locks up next thing im staring at my desktop . That upset me because we was having a great game , most of the remaning three of us had been on the hook at least once , myself twice . 4 random players though were working together without discord , saving each other , bandaging one another , snapping people out of dream state . It was the ideal game imo . I wish I could find many many more of those .
(added) ohh , I was on a level 5 bill , I expected to die quick but used him to burn a party streamer I had so others could get use out of it . I was so surprised that the game turned out like it did ...
-
If you are starting out at a decent rate and it steadily declines to a freeze then usually that is a memory leak . For those who launch at a lower then normal rate ive noticed this too and if I sit on the killer/survivor screen a few mins it usually corrects , haven't been seeing any major drops in matches after that . What I have been experiencing though is the sudden 2 sec freeze at random times and usually seems to be triggered by a event , someone hooked , pallet dropped or even a skillcheck . These are totally random and maybe 1 in every 2 or 3 matches on average .
-
I don't play PS im a PC gamer , but I have heard that PS community is a heavy killer community , PC is survivor heavy and I think but not positive about it that xbox is as well . Problem seems is finding the balance without screwing over one community or the other . Because they tend to make the changed based on the game as a core not the community its running on .
I can see if its killer heavy then boosting the survivors some to make it more attractive for people to play a survivor . trouble is they have 3 different communities under their title and trying to balance them as a whole .
-
I agree that it is the killers objective , and unless I missed something bbq doesn't start with a stack until that first hook and at max its 25% per first hook to a max of 100% . the passive ability does let you see a aura for 4 secs if they are outside of 40-53 meter range . the problem with that is the range and as far as I know the survivors perk to block aura reading . if the aura is being blocked then bbq is useless other then for the bonus . And as you said survivors seem to think they are all powerful and usually are in that range . there are downsides and counters for bbq . I do think they might need to add something like taking a hit near a hooked survivor that way in a campers case you could still get the bonus even without the unhook . if the killer doesn't follow you away and you heal and take another hook then its on him for feeding you like that . Just my thoughts there .

It doesn’t effect you if we get a BP buff, why do you FREAKIN CARE!? Besides, as a solo only side, I really want it
it will effect killers , if you think about it . Killers are 1v4 to start , then factor in the crap they have to deal with from stuff like flashlight exploit , swf , and so on . If you take the one of the biggest advantages from them they have over survivors then why would they play killer ? there has either been a huge influx of survivors or the game is already loosing killers (maybe not this weekend but in general) . f they keep boosting the survivors the way they have been then the killers will continue to switch sides or stop playing and then you will be upset because it takes too long to get a game started (wait wasn't that just one of the major complaints with swf groups?)
-
The only thing I can see as far as to why they wouldn't is the one major difference to what you are saying in your examples . The event counters for survivors like repairing gens or cleansing totems are fixed items and no challenge in finding or catching them to get the bonus . the killer only gets a stackable bonus if he chases down a survivor and hooks them the first time , so that means he has to hook each survivor once at least before loosing any survivors for the effect to have its max . Take also in consideration that a objective that is fixed cant dc to keep you from getting your bonus either .
Is it weaker in comparison , probably so . But is it easier for a survivor to do ? does a dc effect it ?

55000 people playing at once and I would bet half if not more are killers and with games being 4v1 guess how many killers are playing the forever waiting game ...

They changed the Wraith to give him a slight speed boost after uncloaking , they changed the add-ons so that some silence the bell entirely and others muffle or displace it so you don't know where its coming from . as far as his shimmer goes I cant say if you didn't notice it or it wasnt there … but sounds wise they took his speed add-on and gave him ones that muffle negate or displace his sounds .

I will assume you can read and just not understand what I said . I never said anything about a free win or killer should get 4 kills every match . I said that a dc to control when the hatch opens should be considered a exploit , since the hatch opening isn't supposed to be controlled by survivor or killer other then through the key . If you as a survivor feel that you need to control the hatch by dc;ing then maybe you should learn to play with skill ?

almost everyone missed one key point to his argument , and its the one point I think should stop a hatch from opening , The third survivor dc'ed so the 4th in the group could escape , he didn't kill the third , and dumping them wouldn't solve that either as they will still dc . It just part of the toxic crap we get with most (not all) swf groups .
As a killer if I kill the third and the 4th gets the hatch that is on me , I knew it would open . But the inability of people using a dc to control it is a different story . This is the one point I can and I think most people can agree with , that pulling a dc should not benefit anyone else . I know they are putting in mechanics to stop or at least punish the ones who dc on purpose , but I have been seeing the same names do it almost every time I face them , so either the auto bans are not working or it takes a lot of dc's to trigger it .

Every time there is a new killer for the first week or more the ques slow down because a lot of people want to try it out . When they offer a free to play weekend the ques get slower as well because people want to try playing the killer . Now couple the new killer released 3 days ago with a free to play weekend and guess what ? Really long ques ….

as you near level 30 and the teachable you will notice in the bloodweb that there are 2 perks , each will be 3 steps from the starting point , you can learn 4 parts of the bloodweb before the entity starts to black out things starting with one perk . If though you choose a perk it will start the entity off blocking the other perk . So plan ahead and choose what you want and leave the rest for the entity . Just a fyi on the way it will move on the bloodweb , it starts with a perk and usualy moves until its path if blocked then it will usually jump to a lines end before it will move to a spot in the middle of a line .

So because people don't know who the killer is and with all the Hags pre patch and Wraiths post patch it's an exploit t bring it. Again not knowing who the killer is you can't call it an exploit for bringing said flashlight since it could be a Billy/Nurse.I cant speak to the intent , but I have seen a huge increase in the games where flashlights are present before launch . I see it as being in preparation for the spirit . If your good with one you can use it against any killer but with the upswing of a new killer and the odds in favor of it being her , they bring them .

sounds to me like a lot of the either or choices were skilled on the original perks , that or you have one hell of a pool of teachables . Reason I say this is a new player that starts with their first killer or survivor should and usually does get level 3 by 50 . now if you have all the killers at 40 with all their perks unlocked you increase the original pool size and watering down so to speak the ability to get certain selective perks to 3 by 50 . But if im not mistaken the original perks have a much better chance to appear in the bloodweb for that character .

This is a touchy subject in general , If you went to gamestop and preordered a game and then it gets delayed you wouldn't be mad at gamestop because they are just the retailer you would be mad at the sompany making the game . But this isn't the same thing its a DBD product being made by someone else . In other words they are using a contractor to make and ship their product , so in the end yes it is BHVR's job to make sure the product is completed and shipped on time and to explain why not if its not going to be . In the end its their product .
