i think the comment is the fact that yes bl3 was rarely gotten too , most chases don't last that long . But the nerf has changed the speeds of bl all together , 1 is 0.2 , 2 is 0.4 and 3 is 0.6 , so now it takes bl3 to have the old speed of bl2 . In otherwords the nerf has changed it to where on certain killers you have to get 2 or 3 to gain on survivors unless they make a major mistake .
It is just something else the killers will have to get used to and change their playstyle around . it wont effect a lot of the top played killers because of their mechanics and speeds , only the slower killers or those still learning to play or playing against organized swf groups will see any noticeable effect .

mine is pc errors , about to try and launch it again since I went offline , if it does error again ill update . sorry it didn't work on the ps4 version .

blue jeans , denim jacket and flannel shirt that is like the redneck mandatory dress code ...

I had the same issues an even at one point it telling me I didn't have a internet connection , also had the launcher fail to launch . I tried to verify files and didn't work so I uninstalled and reinstalled and then verified files before I launched and it did work for me . I haven't tried to log back in since I stopped playing so not sure if it comes back or not …

they talked about that in the stream they did , and although they wasn't specific it looks like a dlc code for the chapter . If you think about it , its a great way to drum up business . You make "official streamers" they give you props and give out goodies . Its the modern age of publicity , the streamer gets validation and free goodies for giving them props and promoting the game . This also targets the audience they want while costing less then adverts do . plus if you think about it , if someone gets a code for a free dlc , they are more likely to buy the game and other dlc's . Like I said its just a good business plan is all .

I pointed out to powerbat that his numbers didn't add up . hes the one posting your dev statistics you have been on about . If 30% of games are 4 solo then 70% are swf , he said of that 64.1% is a duo and 2 solo , but according to the statistics of 34.1% of all games being that , it cant be posable . 34.1% of 70% is less then half or less then 50% so how does it magically become about 15% higher ? So either he posted stats incorrectly or your dev stats are not correct .
But even the base stats he use tell you that almost 3/4 the games that are played were in fact swf and those are old numbers as you said though with the recent trend of lobby dodging those numbers might change to reflect even more 4 solo groups , but that is only through the efforts of killers not wanting to play swf groups ...

I've been in some games where it takes 20 minutes to find a group to play with. Are there so few people left playing the game?its more about toxic behavior driving people out and one side being overpowered in a organized swf group . Its just natural that if the power of one side is 80 and the other is 25 , people will migrate to the 80 , then you couple that with the toxic behavior most encounter and it takes all the fun out , so they lobby dodge or just stop all together .

So this is not a logical solution. Again punishing people for playing with friends is not an option.in the current game what you speak of wanting to keep in the game is exactly what you just said wasn't a option . You just said the whole point to swf was the communication , the ability to know what is going on to be able to plan stackable benefits . Those are the exact reason that swf is unbalanced , the communication and organization that wasn't intended .
You also remarked that its unfair to punish people for playing with friends , but that is exactly what you are doing to the killer . You are punishing them because you want to play with friends . If you take the enjoyment from the game for either side , guess what one side stops to play , where does that leave things in the end ?
How many times have larger mmorpgs with faction systems in them see pvp unbalance and cause there to almost always be a one sided war and thus a one sided server . Here there is only one game and if it becomes one sided then you don't have a game to play . At least I am offering suggestions on things that can be done without ruining it , rather then to take a party line of don't nerf it or it ruins the game .
I may be the most vocal on this currently , because I don't want to see the game go downhill , but I barely even play anymore because of the imbalance and toxic behavior , im sure im not the only one , not counting those who have just stopped . you can want this trend to continue so you get the most benefit but in the end you loose more if the trend continues .
-
I will have to agree with a version 2 of the game . As time passes better graphics become available and better engines , so if things start to die off here they would be able to make a new setting different modes , correct issues of the past and start a new world with new ideas a lot easier . This coupled with new graphics and a new engine would seem the most logical .
Then again if it has enough of a following it could last . I know this is a mmo im about to mention and not the same type of game , but origin systems launched a game using a 2d overhead graphics back in 97 called Ultima Online and it is still alive today , so anything is possible .

I have never waited 20 minutes for a que as survivor or killer at any given time, are you from some small country with nobody around perhaps?back in may the killer ques were still up there other then peak times in the states , and yes I do live in the states . and if you played non peak hours then your que times were bad , ive been playing in 3 and 4 am est and getting matches on weeknights as a killer with less then 3 min ques . back in may I wasn't getting 3 min ques during peak time .
-
@Socks said:
In League of Legends it seperates solo/duo from the larger party ques (in ranked play). There’s nowehere near the same amount of people playing DbD as League at any given time, which would lead to crazy que times if something like this was implemented. What about higher bloodpoint gains for the killer when going up against 3+ swf groups?
that wouldn't work either I don't think . As a killer I would still lobby dodge swf groups . its about having fun and when going against toxic players over and over game after game is not fun to me . I can get bp and exp easy enough through a standard gain , but 10x bp wouldn't make me want to face the crap you deal with from the majority of the swf groups . And as I keep saying the majority of , not all swf groups are asshats but the larger portion of the ones ive encountered are . if my options are to play against them or don't , I choose don't , and that blame goes to the survivors that create this environment .
this is not a new issue and its only growing , has been for quite a few months . All you hear about it is people saying they need to do something about it from both sides and then others saying its fine , the devs have ignored the subject . I don't really blame them because whatever they would choose to do is going to make one part of the community feel like its unfair . its not a simple balance a vs b situation . if a is survivor and b is killer you also have to remember that a- is solo survivor and a+ is swf survivor , so you have 2 groups on the one side . And this is where the issue is in the balancing aspect , you have 2 factions on one side , if it were a simple 3 separate factions to balance then it would be simple compaired to 2 factions on one side and 1 on the other .
-
and there is the issue in the swf mechainic , if they balance the game around it then fine but what about the solo survivors who will scream its unfair? if you enjoy playing in a swf group why would you need the exp/bp perks of it . If this is a casual group of people playing what a hour maybe 2 every few days together why is this a issue ? And you all are complaining of lobby dodging with swf as it is because killers are doing it . so what options do they have that wont kill the game for killers or solo survivors and allows them to balance around the voice coms of swf ? there isn't any that is what , because if they boost the killer then non swf groups suffer , if they lessen the abilities of survivors once again non swf groups suffer , they leave it as is and killers suffer . there is no win/win/win solution to swf . If your main goal is to play casualy with friends for fun then wouldn't taking exp/bp from swf seem the most logical that way they can base the balance and maps around the game instead of swf mechanic , this would leave swf still a option for those just wanting to have fun with friends , and as I have said without anything to gain it would lessen the toxic behavior that comes with the majority of swf .
-
@FinLadd said:
Then the only way balance this is deleting all the perks from the game or give the killer fifth perk slot
there is one simple way to balance swf imo , cut out the exp and bloodpoint counts from a swf group . That way those who just want to have fun with friends can , and they don't have to balance around it and making it too hard for killer against the majority of swf , or to hard for solo survivors to play against killers . If you don't reward something people wont use it to their advantage , that should also take a lot of the toxic behavior out of it since those players usually rely on anything but skill to play and if they stand nothing to gain whats the point for them to do it .

4 strangers = 30%

2 friends + 2 friends = 9.5%
3 friends + 1 stranger = 17.9%
4 friends = 8.5%64.1% of the time it's 2 randoms and 2 swf, kill 1 swf well no more comms from the dead person other than what they already saw. But magically all those solo queue players are in voice comms and talking and sharing info.
if im reading your statistics right here , 70% of games are swf , so in essence 3 out of 4 , now of that 70% less then half of it is 2 friends and 2 solo not 64.1% (I may be wrong but half of 70 is 35 and if the 2 friends and 2 strangers is less then 35 they cant be more then 50% much less almost 15% more) . I am curious where you got these stats ? Most of the swf groups I have encountered are 3 player , I usually don't notice or count a 2 swf and 2 strangers group as its usually not that noticeable , but I will say 3 out of 4 games does seem about right for the swf that I do notice .

there was a option for closing the hatch as a killer , that was on the test when we had the clown ptb , since then I haven't heard anything else about it and here we are about to have another chapter released .

While they might be toxic that one game they're on average not toxic overall and there's been actual studies done on toxicity in online games by MIT.You can't paint a entire group as toxic without having actual facts to back it up anymore than someone on here can say all killers are whiny entitled children.
We all know there's toxic groups out there, it happens and it's going to happen, just the same as there's toxic killers and solo survivors. It doesn't make everyone bad, just those people that're toxic.
your talking about a general study done by mit on online games , not the swf games here . But I can say I did in fact stop playing for 2 months because 3 out of 4 matches I would get as a killer was swf , and 14 out of 15 of those were toxic on average . I come back to playing a couple weeks agon and again 3 out of 4 were swf and mostly toxic so I started lobby dodging as well . its the only viable solution for me to get a enjoyable game as a killer .
in the end you can only ask if this is the trend killers experience and the only method for them to avoid it they have , then why isn't more being done to either put better options in place or to eliminate the toxic behavior . A killer cant know your intensions in a group , they can only go by their experiences , cant really blame them for that .

Anyway, thanks for the tipp with the simultaneous joining @Grimbergoth . I tried it and it works pretty well so far. Waiting a few more seconds for a proper game is definitely worth it

However, you just pointed out thinking about it one-sided and then complain it is only against killers.
Actually I have made several post about this , and I am not bias on the situation . Yes I think the swf mechanic is a problem as it is , and I have said they could remove it totally which would be unfair to those who want to play with friends , giving the killer to opt out would be one solution , and I have said that if they removed the exp and bp gains from swf it would stop a lot of the toxic groups as they gain nothing for it , but those just wanting to play with friends could . Just like if they balance the game around swf instead of the solo player it would hurt them . im not for making the game one sided for either one , just trying to get a fair game , or at least a close to fair game . Right now the swf dominate the games and its not fair to the killers and thus we have been loosing killer mains because of it . 6 months ago it would take 20 mins to get a game as killer , now it takes almost that as survivor and maybe 3 mins at most as a killer . that is because either killer went to being survivors or just stopped playing as you suggested .
-
Play whatever works best for you , but keep in mind that your style of play can and usually will effect the killers style . As a killer if the survivors are being toxic I will return the favor , as a survivor I act the same if the killer acts toxic I will return the favor . I have been known for letting the last survivor out the hatch if they play a fair game , have even went and knocked one down and carried them to the hatch because they wouldn't go near where I was standing . If the killer is guestering twards something and shaking their head up and down they are probably gonna let you leave because you played a good game reguardless of your skill .
-
ok , first thing is in the stream they just did they stated that tunneling and camping are not reportable or banned offences . With that said the toxic play is there on both sides , killers resort to those tactics because of the swf groups and that is their best hope for gaining points , be able to attack the rest of the group while they try and bully and lead the killer . I am not defending it , but I do understand it as I have been on both sides of the swf groups and personally its no fun either way .
You are just dealing with the ongoing fallout of the new meta as it were . Solo survivors suffer almost as much as the killers from it . Sadly if it was swf or the egg that come first this is the result . Like I told the killers complaining about the swf bully tactics , its the game as it is , you cant do anything but accept it and move on .
-
the last I heard and that was on the stream they said early next week was projected release and it would be across all platforms .
-
I am sorry about that , I didn't realize they didn't release the same content across all platforms , I guess left for dead or left behind was only for pc .
-
A lullaby for the dark , the last breath , and left behind are all free dlc's which is the huntress , nurse , nea , and bill .

Ah because the same party joins at the same time, could have though about that lol^^
Thanks for the advice, I will try to do that now even though its kinda ridiculouslyI agree , but it takes less time to get another group even if you have to do it 3 or 4 times to get a non swf group then the time and misery of being forced to play swf when you don't enjoy it . sadly it the only option given to a killer who doesn't want to play against swf .
People only care about one side . swf groupies think they should be able to do what they want and play in a group with its advantages if they want , and I agree that they should be able to play with friends if they want . But if a killer doesn't want to play against a organized group they shouldn't be forced to either . And at this point the swf group gets all the perks as the devs ignore the flipside of it and force a killer to endure it . They don't even acknowledge or respond to questions about doing anything about the swf unbalance . If they have then I have yet to be able to find anything on it .
-
Will there be any changes to SWF ? Options I see and have heard from earlier post include : a opt out for killers to keep swf groups from joining their game . Removing exp and bloodpoint gains from swf groups . Remove swf option all together . balance the game around swf groups and this organization with voips instead of the solo gamer . combine swf and kwf into one game . Or "its working as intended" while less and less killers play daily ?
Those seem like the most viable options and it seem a very large part of the community wish to see something done but hear nothing about the subject .
-
just as long as they give him a brisco county jr. outfit as a cosmetic ...
-
if this were a wishlist of what we would like to see , I would love to see hellraisers , phantasm , jeepers creepers , pumpkinhead , and chucky . but like I said about the licensed killers before its very highly unlikely seeing any of them anytime soon . but think about hellraisers , a lot of potential in a game like this for them .
-
easiest way to solve the hotbutton issue of swf would be to add a option on the killer side to allow or not allow swf groups . This would either kill the swf option if too many killers decided to opt out and thus tell the devs what they should be looking at , or eliminate the whole debate over it . Either way it would allow the devs to keep it in game and allow killers to decide if they want to deal with it , and devs wouldn't have to balance around it this way .
That or just remove the bp and exp gains from the swf , then people wouldn't want to use it for the overpowered farms , all they would gain is being able to play with their friends like intended .

I would rather see Jason Voorhees before Ghostface though.
Friday the 13th already has a game license out there , most , not all , are exclusive licenses . as a example , sony had a star wars mmo called star wars galaxies , the license was pulled from them in order for swtor to be released . So if their game has a exclusive license , then they would either have to wait for it to run its course , or offer to buy it out thus costing much much more , making it less likely to happen .
-
@Orion said:
It's not just the weapon, the entire character model would be so similar you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from a distance.
I wouldn't think so , ghostface would be shorter , thinner in build and the open elongated jaw of the mask would be a much different look , plus the flowing black robe design . I can see them being easy to tell apart .
-
@Orion said:
^This. It's a guy in a white mask with a knife.
we have two killers with chainsaws , why not . But like they said once before the licensed killers are not gonna be happening all that much , they are focused on the original killers right now . this allows them to make a quarterly update and only they can slow themselves down . a licensed killer they have to submit and get approval for , pay for the license , and then show the final product as intended and get approval again before they can release it . That is outside of the development stages of making sure it balanced and working correctly without bugs . This is why you wont see new killers like that except maybe yearly if that at all . Its a long process they have to dedicate time and manpower to in order to satisfy the rights holder before they can try and satisfy the players with it . Time and manpower that could have been spent making 3 or 4 original killers . Plus they would have to recoup the investment in said killer/survivor in a dlc pack much like the way things are now and they have to get a lot more approval for reskinning them and pay fees there as well if they want to offer cosmetics .
Though I like the idea of ghostface , I don't think we will be getting licensed killers anytime soon if at all . There are bigger things they have to tackle first .
-
as far as I know there isn't any bp for struggling while being carried , but like I said if that is the button bashing you are talking about then its more of a rhythm to break free then spam bashing the buttons .
-
You are describing a popular swf game . At this point like others have said get used to it , it is becoming more and more the standard of the game . You can drop them and try to keep slugging away eventually you might get a hook . It takes a minimum of 4 hits and 3 hooks to down a swf survivor if you tunnel and camp , a lot more if not . so either go for the one kill or do what they want and hit them so they can heal and get more bp farming you like that . there isn't any way to avoid those games , just have to accept it and go on .
-
You probably didn't notice it , once the legs , spikes whatever you want to call them come down on stage two and you struggle , when you give out you are given points according to how long of a struggle it was , max I think is around 800 .
-
I don't know why I overlooked that entirely , and yes that is tedious at best . Though I think if it wasn't a somewhat easy skill check that most players would die if they went that rout , especialy when they are newer players . At least with this method you get bp for the struggle . I don't find it all that difficult myself, annoying , but not difficult .
Thank you for pointing out I was talking about the wrong thing .
-
As of my last play yesterday I was still get the errors . Havent played since because of it . over the past week ive lost alor of shards and bloodpoints , people are saying relog and they come back but I have yet to see them return .
Only solution ive gotten so far to work and even then its iffy is to uninstall and reinstall every few games or at least daily , tried verifying files after a save error and then I get the game wont launch error , only fix ive seen is to uninstall and reinstall and hope it doesn't come back .
-
Thank you for naming the ability I couldn't remember . The more I think about it I hope he was talking about the carry struggle , on the hook without slippery meat you only have 3 chances so there wouldn't be any keyboard bashing involved .
Boil over isnt the popular build but like I said it counters iron grasp , and combined with ds it would make for a easier struggle free . But I also agree with you in the fact there are better abilities out there for other things . I don't run it myself , I worry about the game outside of the struggle free mechanic .
-
I took it that he was talking about the struggle free concept since he said bashing his keyboard . Default comp settings are keyboard to struggle free and to unhook is mouse . I may be wrong on what he meant but that is how I read it .

@Swiftblade131 said:
Didn't know survivor was so stressful...Guess we need to make it easier for ya?
ill guess hes a non swf and probably newer player to the game . The mechanic is designed around having a lost killer not being close to a hook and you having a small chance to escape his grasp , then if you factor in a killers iron grasp which makes it 75% harder to struggle free . Now , survivors have DS (wich is a skill check)and with the addition of kate (don't remember the name of her basic ability) there is also a counter to iron grasp .
almost everything a killer can do or has the survivors have a counter or tool for , its just about getting the right setup for the killer you face . What MM uses is different from the nurse which is different from the huntress , so its hard to gauge a setup to struggle free based on one killer . Plus you have to consider that struggling free isn't supposed to happen all that often unless the killer messes up . Think of it like slippery meat its a small % chance based off what the killer does while he carries you .
As far as the button mashing goes , watch the meter the faster you push them isn't always the better . each press adds a certain amount to the meter , it also takes x amount of time and thus hitting the next key doesn't register if hit too fast , its a timing thing .

After such a game I am done playing tbh.
Guess I will simply quit the game next time, apparently it isnt truely bannable anywayActually if you drop from games and the automated system picks up the pattern then you can get a temp ban , enough temp bans can lead to a perma ban . My advice is if you see 3 people pop into your lobby at the same instant , leave and wait 5 sec to make a new one . Right now if you don't want to deal with swf its the only real option as a killer .
Personally I think they need to find a way for people to be able to eliminate swf if they wish , lobby option that doesn't allow it , removing it all together , or balance the game around swf instead of solo players , maybe even remove the exp and bloodpoint gains from a swf group thus deterring them from playing unless they just want to play with their friends .
Sadly these ideas have been around for along time and no one seems to care about them or they are too difficult to implement . So swf becomes a larger and larger issue and more an more killers switch sides or just stop playing . This is why 6 month ago a survivor took 1-3 mins to get a match and a killer took 15-20 on average , not the role is reversed , not enough people want to play a killer when they feel like they don't stand a chance from the start . We just have to accept it or quit , its the only options the devs have left us .
-
It sounds like you are making point that back up what I am talking about . In swf they have the communication and organization ability beyond what the casual solo player has , and I agree that seems to be the trend these days . I pop into a lobby and almost always someone says use my discord , so even the solo players are now using it . By adding this option they can see what in on their screen and also get the relay of what the others are . This allows for teamwork only able in such methods . Take for example a wraith camper , you get hooked and see him stand still and cloak , you then report this to your friends saying two of you come so one can lure him away while the other unhooks . This is a handy tool for survivors but it also negates the wraiths abaility for cloak and have no terror radius because the others still know hes there and when lead away when hes going so they know where not to go . Another example wrait hooks you and runs off to your left , you tell the others hes headed this direction so now they know to come in from the right and anyone to the left has the heads up hes coming . I have been in these games and know what its like from both sides and I would rather play solo then know every move before it even happens as to me there is no fun in that .

Jackie Earle Haley and Samual Bayer is who i think you mean cause this licensed freddy is there likeness and the others vision. I wish it was robert englund freddy (he doesn't like his face in games unless he can do the voice) or wes craven. Basically we got the humanizing pedo bad freddy movie version. It would of been worse if we got the freddy that has been seen on some sets now. God is he the worst looking freddy i have seen. If you look it up beware he looks like he is make a wish foundation freddy.
I love the comment , but when I mentioned them Wes Craven in particular , I was talking about the original creator , without him there would have never been a Freddy , Robert Englund was the one that brought him to life , and personally to me is the Only Freddy . I agree with the reinventions being lackluster in appearance but the spirit of the character is still there , just not here ...

Ah.. another salty killer main.. Stopped reading after the intro.if I had to estimate it I would say I play survivor 55-60% of the time , just depends on the daily rituals . Now killer wise I do play freddy more then any other , but being a killer main I wouldn't consider myself that . as far as level progression goes I have 6 survivors ive put a lot of time into and 4 killers . I feel im more equal opportunity rather then bias . just because my points argue for one side or the other doesn't mean that is my main . If you read my posts the main mechanic that is the issue is swf bringing a very large level of unbalance . My points were that killer is a joke right now , that because of the boosted survivor perks and swf there will never be a balance , that they will either have to underpower survivors for swf to be balanced leaving solo survivors suffering , or eliminate the desire to play swf by removing exp and bloodpoint gains or removing it all together . They could boost the killer to make the 4v1 pvp element more balanced but then the solo players will still scream that they are underpowered .
The broken mechanic is swf . I am not one of the devs nor have I ever been on this game , but from my standpoint swf was designed for people to have fun in a group with their friends . What it has become on the other hand is a way for people to overpower the basic game structure and balance being done for the solo players . I feel that if they remove the mechanics that allow swf to gain exp and bloodpoints then people who want to play a game with their friends will still play , as their goal is fun with friends , but those using it as a exploit for gain wont have that mechanic available , thus giving them no reason to use it .Im not argueing to remove swf totally , just don't make it a feeding ground for those who will exploit it . that or balance around it instead of the solo casual gamer .

If the devs get to 3.5 kill per match, and only if SWF have the same average chance to survive ... then 'im fine with it. Otherwise those stats might just tell how much solo survivors are weak when compared to team play, and how important it is to severely nerf SWF instead of just improving killers.I agree totally . If the solo survivor is underpowered then fine boost them , same for the killer , but if that makes swf overpowered the only way to balance it out is to remove swf . That is one of the biggest detrimental game mechanics right now , because swf allows to organization and communication that the random survivors don't have . and to balance one will either underpower or overpower the other . As long as they keep swf it will never be fair for killers or casual solo players as survivors .

There's one big misunderstanding on the part of some players. Dead By Daylight isn't just about killers and killing, but also about survivors and surviving. Even the best of the killers will not have 4k all the time, and the best of the survivors won't survive all the time.I agree totally , I usually let one escape every match be it by their skill or my own doing . And a good group of players can survive as it is even without swf . I just feel that with the state of the game and swf both that killers are very underpowered . And i see more groups in swf then i see out of it . If they took the exp bloodpoint gains from swf then you wouldn't be seeing it so often , but then everyone who uses it to their advantage would be crying , same if they decided to remove it . Im just saying that maybe they should increase the power of the killers to reflect the mechanics they put in place and are unbalancing the game in general . Show some respect to the killers and not just pandering to the ones who cry i cant win 100% they are op . I don't think either killer or survivor should be a near perfect win rate it should boil down to playstyle and skill , not unintended mechanics they didn't have the foresight to see happening with swf . Actualy i think they might have seen it coming otherwise they would have had a embeded voip for them to use , but this allows them to pander and go well its outside of the game so we have no opinion . In the end if one side gets more advantage then the other people will stop playing the lesser side and when that happens where does the game go then?

I mean it is just a game though. You are going to run into people who know how to play the game swf or notive had friends who will just stand there and do nothing as a killer when they get stuck with a swf group . Mostly its because they are afraid of getting a ban for dropping and just getting the loss over .
Personally if I see 3 or 4 people pop into a room in the same instant I will leave the room . As a killer its easier for me to get a new game then waste my time against swf . Now if people could play at that level without the organization and communication they get from discord then great and I applaud their skill . I don't mind loosing at all as kill or survivor as long as I feel its a fair fight . If their skill is better then mine then kudos to them . Its just swf turns the game into easy mode for survivors with their already mounting perks and flashlights . I just feel that a killer should be feared and not thought of as a minor inconvenience in a game that markets itself as a horror survival game and boast the likes of iconic killers as Myers , Kruger , Leatherface , and Saw . I see it I guess as not showing respect to the legacy of what you used to build your world on , when you make those same icons nothing more then a running joke .
Maybe its fond childhood memories of these icons , I grew up watching them all and I feel like there is anything but respect being paid to them and the original killers as well .

The game you want can't exist because it would fail in the long run. if killers were op and more survivors died than lived and by that i mean real good survivors were the only ones living, most people would leave. The game is success as it is because it caters to casual players.I am not saying they should be so overpowered that they are easy mode , but they shouldn't be so underpowered that survivors will seek them out without fear . In all honesty the easy way to solve the whole issue at hand is to eliminate swf . No matter what the devs do there is going to be people unhappy about it .
6 months ago it would take 20-30 min to get a game as a killer , because everyone wanted to be a killer and not a survivor . Now it takes me about 3 mins to get a game at most as a killer and 15 to get one as a survivor . That alone should tell you where the balance of power has gone . Most people play what is easy to play . Personally I like a challenge , I still play Kruger as a killer even though he is considered one of the weakest in the lineup .
yes in the beginning as a survivor or killer its tough , then once you unlock the key perks and level up one survivor with those perks its pretty much game over for the killer when grouped up with swf . As a killer you don't have that option as each killer is unique and because of that certain perks don't work well with certain killers . Survivor perks are general all use , any survivor can use any perk to the same extent , killers have perks designed to their character and sure some are very useful on any killer but the very few are useful on all killers .
My original point to the whole post was that killers should be a force to be feared , not to be thought of as a running joke (pun intended) .

This doesnt make sense at all. How can you compare DBD a game to a movie that needs to be showed in 2 hours. Look at the movie for 1000 hours and tell me again how it is a scarefest each time you watch it.First 25-50 hours in this game you might get scared a couple of times but then its just the same old thing. Theres no way you can expect a developer to create a game that scares you all the time wether you play 100 or 1000 hours.
Yes and I said that it was unavoidable that the jumpscares wear off , what I am compairing is those movies are what the game and its lore is based off of and how it falls short . Im not anti swf either but I think they either need to eliminate it or add the power back to the killers to make up for it . Rather then the keystone cops horror game we have now .

Ive reported speedhacks , lagswitches , bodyblocking , and even killers and survivors working together and see the same players over and over . so I know from my end that nothing is being done or why would I keep seeing them . Personaly the game has become anything but fun . Every match I get either 1-3 people who dc , work with the killer , or lagswitches . I may see one actual game out of 15 or 20 and those odds are not acceptable to me .
Before you say go play a killer then , same issues there not to mention it tkes me a average of 20-30 mins to get a match to start with and then you have to worrie about is it going to be a swf group on discord like most are these days , if so you spend the game getting bullied , they make all the points and you spend 30 mins waiting for another 10 mins maybe of frustration .
Also over the anniversary event I was being cursed out for actually playing the game by both survivors and killers because I was ruining their farm . they stand around a hook letting killer hook o0ne and they unhook and heal and he do again till they all 3 had 2 hooks and then he would just hit and let them heal . im sorry that isn't fun to me to me it exploiting but aprearently not to the ones who read reports cause I encountered them several times .
usualy I try to not be negative , but in the past few weeks all I have are negative experiences , thus negative things to report . I have had 1 maybe 2 realy enjoyable games in the past month , sorry but its not worth my time anymore . I hope you get things going the right way once again and the game becomes fun again , I would love to keep playing but only if there is fun to be had win or loose ...
