I hope never. As console, we didn't get a ptb so now is our chance to test out the new killer. All I've gotten is Deathslingers, spirits with stridor and huntresses with iri head and Mori. Ofc I'm disconnecting.

I hope it doesn't. I like disconnecting when survivors burn an Ormond/Haddonfield/Yamoaka offering or when I get a person/team that I know is toxic in my lobby

Why is Billy on B? He has one of the best mobility and a one-shot skill, there is no way he is in the same level as Doctor and Myers.
Of the whole 2 Billy's I've faced since the Overheat was added, neither of them did very well at all. He just isn't the same.
He no longer has the same add-ons so I, personally, agree with OP and don;t think he is nearly as good as he once was.
But my sample size is basically nonexistant so I don't really know what I'm talking about. lol

Does anyone know how it works?
undying = 1 totem
haunted = 2 totems
If a survivor takes out the 1 lit totem, does it keep the other lit totem in place and just spawn a single new lit totem?
I'd imagine it would. cant see why it would deactivate the lit and spawn 2 new fresh lit totems
When you cleanse Haunted ground, the other totem deactivates. This is how Haunted ground has always worked. I don't know if, when undying comes in to effect, the previous one just relights. or if it just randomly chooses two of the available totems, but it doesn't stay lit until the Hex reactivates. And there needs to be two Dull Totems available for it to reactivate.

I feel that but so are Adrenaline and DS and I see those used all the time. 🤔
DS is situational?
lmao.
Anyway. I don;t run unbreakable because I am rarely ever left on the ground long enough to make us of it. If I had it. Which I don't. Yet.

Personally I am terrible against the wraith and always get dominated by any I go against. He's probably the killer I find the hardest to play against. I'm not even sure why.
I would loathe to see him buffed but I know he needs it.

Well it's Friday night so this is like prime SWF sweat squad time. I suppose the killer problems you're experiencing are a trickle down of this as that's what they're expecting in the lobby screen each game.
That completely makes sense.
I just guess I've just been lucky since I've never really had this bad of an experience on Fridays before. And I've been playing since Before Spirit Release.
-
@TheMonadoBoi said:
I actually avoid playing Fridays and Saturdays for this exact reason. About 2 weeks ago I faced a facecamping basement Bubba and a combined 17k hour toxic SWF back to back. Really just stay away from the game on weekends.
The thing is is that I've never experienced this before and I play on the weekends regularly. Maybe I just got lucky.
Its frustrating as hell to say the least.

Blight is as strong as Billy ever was, Instasaw and Crack Billy notwithstanding. People just suck at him and assume it's the killer being weak, not them having no skill with him because they didn't give it time to develop.
I could see it. Once people really start to perfect his bumping the mind games are going to get crazy. Like passing you and coming all the way around from the otherside crazy.

I doubt I'll ever get this Achievement. Downing from over 24 metres away is an absolute pain. I feel adepting Nurse is going to be easier once I get around to that nightmare.

I don't play Killer but I can't even imagine if I was going to play it today.
I've literally had a Infinite Tombstone Myers that was fed by my team, then two of my teammates ran over to me with Myers in tow and I became the first victim even though I hadn't seen or interacted with Myers until that point.

10 games is a lot - from my experience so far the game needs a restart after ≈ 5 games - and no, you can't deal with it if you are playing killer, especially certain killers.
For example, the game will basically freeze for half a second every time you hit a wall as the Blight, and the most awful things happened to me trying to stalk as Myers as well.
I know it's just an annoying band aid, but if you play killer it's just a must.
As a survivor... who cares.
I only play survivor and i agree, who cares? Lol
Though I might restart if it gets really bad. Like stuttering so bad my inputs not being read. Or if I face multiple Doctors on a row because that's basically unplayable on stove maps.
If I played killer I would definitely restart as often as possible because just seeing my fiance play it after this patch is a massive headache.
-
Restart it? Like how often? Because I'd rather deal with it instead of having to restart every 10 games or so.

Lol, that's funny. Although I'm a german, I hate the "Dirndl" and the "Lederhosen". But wow, I love Kates haircut. I still hope that the linked outfits will get an update for separating the headpart. That's why I still refuse to buy linked outfits.
Yea. I refuse to but linked outfits because I can;t mic-and-match the pieces. The hair would be nice on other outfits I just think its all a bit much. lol

I exclusively play solo survivor and I disagree with this. Sure, not all games go well and sometimes the Killer wipes the floor with my team, and as Killer you don't have 3 other players to worry about who might, as my most recent game shows, throw themselves at the killer and bum rush the hook while you do a gen. In the end nothing is accomplished and the Killer walks away with a 4k in 3 minutes. But playing Survivor is easier and much more relaxed.

There, added nurse, LOL and moved a bit solo and S tier killers, do you like it now?
Perfect. 👊
-
Easy is S tier Killer. Medium is Solo Survivor.
But the rest of it works.
Edit: Also "Learning Nurse" should be its own Nightmare Difficulty.
-
Meg's is good. But it's still Meg. Which means its like dressing up a scarecrow that looks like it smells of hot garbage. I dislike that I have to play her for this archive. Also, I see no reason to buy it since she's getting a decent skin through the Rift which she will be wearing forever once I finish it.
Felix's is good. That head is sexy af.
I hate that Kate's is locked. I like the dress but dislike the hair.
-
I don't play Killer but I assume most just want us to leave. About 50% of the time I leave, but sometimes I stay for varying reasons. Never to TBag. I would never do that.
Usually I stay so I can get a few more BP, either through healing, a final chase, or what have you. I almost always, if I stay, try to give the Killer a final hit. Though I'm starting to think this might come off as cocky or annoying. I just want to give them a little more BP. But yeah.
Oh also, if my team was exceptionally Toxic and I'm not going for a challenge I'll offer myself up to the Killer. Especially if another teammate TBags as they leave.

@Mooks said:
No, someone from Germany could never be evil!
i wondered why they would not include one killer.. and used Kate and Meg which both seem like to get constantly cosmetics..
Meg, Kate, Claudette, Feng and Nea get tons of skins for 2 reasons:
They are popular and they are female.
Its just a fact that female characters always get more cosmetics and the popular ones get at least twice as many as everyone else. Examples of this are Chun Li in SFV and Half the female roster in League of Legends.
This is mainly because they make money.

"Eventually, Felix's girlfriend announced that he was going to be a father"
oh no, I said he had a wife, while she was only a girlfriend. That's absolutely changes everything.
They are different things. If you are going to argue against some one use the facts instead of twisting them.
Its small, but it negatively effects your whole stance if you can't even be bothered.

@VolantConch1719 said:
Normally, I wouldn't really care about this topic. I just feel it doesn't have any place in a game where the characters are trapped in an eternal cycle of death until the ultimately lose all hope and become soulless husks tossed aside into an endless void. I think sexuality is the LAST thing on their mind given the circumstances.
That being said, BHVR did make a big deal about it during Pride Month, and we're still waiting on actions to back up those words. That is the price of making such statements during such a time: people start expecting action to support your words. BHVR has done practically nothing besides a few things DURING Pride Month, and if they did do something inclusive, it was so small that it passed under my radar. Which, considering I check these forums multiple times a day because I'm bored, would be impossible.
Sorry but what does a characters backstory have to do with them being trapped in a cycle of death?
Example, why do we need to know that Kate was a musician who had a hard time playing pop music? Or that Meg's mom was terminally ill or that David's father was an ass? A character's sexuality is part of who they are, it is part of their backstory. It fleshes the characters out.
-
@bjorksnas said:
Why are you trying to assign sexualities to characters can't you just enjoy the characters enough without doing that
also
dwight - doesn't get any from either gender
meg - breaths too loud
claudette - Gender_XX_Preference not found its too sneaky
jake - is a chad yoga instructor
nea - entity don't need love
Ace - Gambler
Feng - Gamer
David - Too bloody too often to be with anyone
Kate - Too busy writing music to bother with the slim pickings in the entitiys realm
Adam - Known to throw pebbles in bed
Jeff - Spends too much time trimming hair/beard to have any left over to bother
Jane - Pan fried rice
Yui - tries to flirt but can't stop driving people away by bragging about moterbikes
Zarina - Probably straight because she is interesting in cowBOYS
Felix - Had a wife
Felix wasn't married.
How have 2 people in this thread stated that he had a wife when he doesn't have a wife?

I know, I think this is just what the OP wants, whether subconsciously or consciously. Like how do you get Jeff to be Bi/Pan?
He's an artist? 🤷
-
You aren't really "addressing" anything lol.
What I want to address though is Felix's random Pregnant Girlfriend. Literally came out of no where and had no real place in the story and made most of how they defined Felix to come into question.
Also: I ship Kate/Jeff forever.

Then turn off cross play.
You know since this never happens with PC players. /s

So basically when a survivor and killer both know where the hatch is and are there at the same time, the survivor will probably escape?
Honestly?
Literally never seen a survivor escape if you are both on top of it and the killer is mashing the close hatch button.

This.
Plague is just plagued with bugs. 🤓

Maybe..but I'd say 20/24 meters would be decently effective
Then it would go on cooldown much more often by sealing pallets that aren't even close. Meaning it'll be up less often when you actually need it.

A meme is an idea that is passed on by nongenetic means through culture. There have been multiple threads all saying the same thing. That if you can't down using your power then you're worthless.
Good survivors deal with the cards they're dealt. They see that they CAN'T heal and are forced to stick soley to the objective. Which means if Legion swings back around, and they don't have a backup plan, they're fubar.
It's all level dependant and based on setup. It isn't an instant loss if they're using basic attack.
The said "What meme?" not "What is a meme?"
You are being blatantly obtuse.
However, I agree that good players adapt to what is going on in game and how the Killer is playing. However, it is a basic rule that you shouldn't heal against Legion because it wastes to much time. However, if they are good at chases healing may be needed.

i dont think the Hex notification of it goes away when you cleanse it and Undying transfers it to another totem, so they would still be aware, unless you mask it with yet another perk such as Ruin.
by the way, Undying states that all tokens on a Hex will be lost uppon transfering, does this also apply to ToTH? im wondering because the ToTH tokens represent the amount of totems in the trial, so it wouldnt really make sense for all of them to be lost after cleansing...
No. TotH is based on the number of Totems still standing in the match. They are different from the stacks you generate.
-
I heavily dislike 2 of those perks and only actively use one. So, even if it is optimal in one form or another I think I'll stick with playing whatever perks I feel like playing.

Thats what I was talking about. There was heartbeat when I played against him. I recall hearing it and I'm pretty confident. I play on PC steam. Is it 100% reproducable? He was around 16-24m in front of me and he had heartbeat. It reminded me of his chase music is where I'm getting at.
I just faced a Blight and found that I could hear the Heartbeat while wearing my headset. I'm not sure what's going on because this is the only match I've had today where I could hear it. Just went against a Nurse before it and no Terror Radius. The new maps might have something to do with it maybe.
-
There is a lot of History when it comes to Players and the Legion. Some people just can't get over it.
Also, Legion is low-mid tier at best imo. I can't see any way that they could be placed higher than this.
-
@Zeus said:
When I played against a blight today and he did have TR. He was chasing another survivor so I'm pretty confident. But I can't tell if its his TR or a chase music because it reminded me of his chase music.
By TR I think they are mainly referring to the Heartbeat which is bugged and either nonexistent or REALLY quiet. This makes some Killers, like the Blight, harder to track by sound alone because his non-chase Music is so quiet.

@EqMonkVeeshan said:
yes undying needs to be nerfed. hex totems are supposed to be a power so great that its ment to be limited. if this stays in the game in its current state survivors will need to get their old school exhaustion back to balance it out.
This is ridiculous.
Most Hex perks aren't even good WITH Undying.
But sure. Tell us what Hex perks are now so broken that old school exhaustion needs to come back.
Also, Undying does not make the Killer able to ignore Totems. You are acting like Hex: Undying isn't a Hex perk in and of itself, meaning it can be cleansed, or that Hexes with stacks don't get reset.
-
This is one of the weakest complaints I've see so far.

No offence but it just seems that at times killer complaints are a little petty and you can't flip the argument around because the survivor meta is fully based around the killer meta and killer strategies.
Both sides are petty and both sides have legit complaints. Neither side has a monopoly on complaints and neither side is more "right" in what they complain about.
-
The hair looks different maybe? I dunno. Doesn't look any better imo.
Hell, I had one in a game earlier and I thought a bloody skeleton was healing me for a second.

I am base PS4 and a survivor main so hopefully this stuff works fine
I'm on base PS4 and play survivor exclusively and I can tell you that there is a lot of stutter during certain actions (some Killers Lunging for one), random frame drops and no Heartbeat/very quiet heartbeat.
-
Stop complaining about Killers complaining. Its getting old.
Not that complaining about Survivor complaints is any better.
-
Meh. He's fine. I don;t like that the Alchemist we've been hearing about all this time has turned out to be just some guy with deformities who runs fast. Kinda lame.
Felix is A+ though. I hate half his backstory, and find most of it to be a mess with no direction, but his design is great.
-
Remove the cooldown.
I think that's all it needs.
The effect doesn't need to last forever, but you shouldn't have to wait to be able to apply it again.
-
I disagree with this. Some things run smoother but the sound and frame issues for both Survivors and Killers really counters any real good that was done in this patch in my eyes.
-
I find crossplay survivors are too Altruistic sometimes. I've lost count of the number of games where its been me trying to save three slugged teammates.
