Wait, I'm confused. Pig is 110%, isn't she?
-
Thana was already better than Ruin, and particularly great on Legion. Now it's even better. Love it.
-
Suicides should count the same as DC-s. It's basically the same thing: screwing your teammates denying points to the killer.
-
@ShrekIsHot I mean the Entity's realm is a magical world. You know, like Neverland or Narnia. It is entirely possible!
-
@Shad03 well... I'd love to see the love child of Kate and the Clown. Or Ace and Huntress. I assume the Nurse is barren, but on the other hand, the Fog is a wondrous place, I see no reason why Leatherface and David couldn't have a baby together!
-
There are already children in the Fog.
You can recognize them when they say "ez" in aftergame chat.

Real men puke loud.

Yeah. Just don't use the "quote" button, and always type the @ and the name manually.

Just do what I did: play some other killer, gather your BP, prestige and level up Trapper to all perks. By that time you should have a pile of the good stuff. I'm sitting on more than 30 Bloody Coils and Iridescent Stones each.
Btw, I think Trapper can be quite effective even without the strongest addons, but if you're having trouble, use them.
-
Why though? Frustration and being trash talked to is part of this game. Try to win more often, that's what makes it go away. If the other guy won, he earned some bragging rights.

I dodge because I can't play a normal game with them. Imagine you don't do anything wrong and they tunnel you at the start then hit you on the hook. Ok probably because of my outfit is a little bright but that's not fair, plus you have pride to let them abuse you on the hook like that?
You're not tunneled because you have done something "wrong"... You're tunneled because you need to die. From the killers viewpoint at least.
Stop being a whimp and get used to being chased and occasionally killed if you play this game.

@MhhBurgers I agree, The Exorcist is one of those highly overrated, "classic" horrors that aren't really worth much, aside from a few neat twists maybe.
Omen was so much better :)
-
To be honest, vomiting is a very cheap idea. Some putrid haze or fumes or whatever would have worked better.
There is quality horror (scary), and there is cheap horror (gross, gory, disgusting, etc). A vomiting creature clearly belongs to the latter. It would fit well with moronic "horror" games like Resident Evil, but it's so disappointing to see in dbd.
Vomit in horror is like farting in comedies. It's the creator telling you "uhh, sorry, I couldn't come up with good ideas, so I'm just going with the classics".
Fortunately, the other aspects of the new chapter seem nice. But I wish they had had something that fits the atmosphere better than puking.
-
AFK is definitely ok. DC-ing is not in my opinion, especially with the purpose of giving the hatch to the other guy.
I'd say though, if slugging takes too long, I can't blame you for DC-ing. It's about the most boring part of the game.
-
Sounds like bait, but in the off chance you're serious: too many visual and other alternative indicators would mess up the hud. Maybe some stuff (different color for scratch marks, icon appearing when you're in killer's TR) would help some people. BUT. Only if these things are optional.
And there's no such thing as "ableist". If you can't use a lawmower, don't buy one. No one is obliged to cater for everyone's unique needs.

Here’s an idea.
YOU find out what the monumental licensing fee is, and then pay it YOURSELF on behalf of the devs.
Lovely.
How generous of you.
This :)
Also: "Responsibilities"? That's some next level entitlement. And "free Pinhead"...
No offense @RabidWabbitz , but nothing is free in this life.

First World problems.

Yet another thing to test in PTB. My guess is, after the PTB devs will make changes so mending cannot be interrupted by it (or it's already designed this way).
Will be indeed awesome on m3 Myers though :)

Looks positively toxic.

Finding something beautifully rendered doesn't equate to sexual attraction.
Nice try. 🙄
I'm probably projecting.

Horny for some murderous, plague-ridden woman, are you?
To each his own I guess :)

Imagine reporting someone for not playing the game.
Like even if you were AFK are they really going to report you for it? It's not a bannable offense to not play.
What the hell's going to happen if you *do* get banned for not playing? 🤣
Being afk is (and should be) bannable. Not that they dish out a load of bans for it. But theoretically, it is, if one does it repeatedly'

Confirmed, got Safe Hook Rescue event, though the survivor I saved was chainsawed within 3 seconds.
I don't mind the extra BP, but it's silly. -

That's bad man. I don't know what to say... -
@Theninjabizcuit man, you can repair 2 generators with or without Ruin. There are SIX or SEVEN, you think the killer can divide his attention between them (plus the totem) that easily?
I'm not saying it's easy, but hey, if 3 of your mates are dead when there's one or no generator is done, you have a hand in it too.

Something needs to be stopped about the campers cant play a single round anymore without a killer who camps, the entity should push the killer or teleport them to the basement if they're too close to the hooked survivor unless they are chasing another survivor in the areaEvery day there's a new complaint thread about camping. None of you simpletons care to search for other threads about the SAME GODDAMN THING.
Camping is rare, but part of the game. Accept it and stop spamming. -

Which proves what I was saying...
Killers don't want the totems cleansed. They want the biggest crutchperk in the game (once DS is changed) to activate.
5 totems x 14 = 70 seconds. That's not including time spent running around looking for them, or survivors being interrupted and needing to start cleansing from the beginning again. Add in all that and it's easily over a gens worth of time, easily. In fact almost every game I get interrupted at least once.
If a killer can't win with 6 gens then they have a problem. 6 gens or instadowns and speed boost at the endgame. It's win/win for killers either way.
You conveniently forget one thing: while I can see generator auras, I don't have any more idea of dull totem locations than survivors (actually less than someone running Small Game). Which means a smart totem hunter survivor group can stay immersed, without touching a single gen at start and sneak around cleansing all dulls. Then the game begins.
The Hallowed Blight event clearly showed this: those Cankers were not shown to killer. Stealthy survivors often managed to gather all the nectar they could without any contact with the killer. Once they were done, the game started.Obviuosly there are detection perks and killer powers which can help finding even the most immersed survivors. But your most important clue as to where to find survivors is generators.
-
I meant *Marker obviously.
-
An active NOED places a permanent Market effect (pillar of light) on killer's head, visible to all survivors.
Only for fairness and balance, of course. -
This would be very detrimental to killers. The only way it would be MAYBE acceptable if three new secret killer offerings were added: increase number of dull totems by 1/2/3.
-
Gentapping is a joke, come on. Doing a gen that way is slower than normally, even with a few missed Hex Skill Checks.
On the other hand, I'm going to miss dribbling so much
I never used DS and it's so funny when killer uses an obsession perk, and I'm it. Often they think I use DS... so they waste a lot of time dribbling me.
-
You have all the time you need if you're playing immersed. And totems are not particularly hard to find, although finding all five is tough without Small Game.Nea_Death_Experience said:@George_Soros said:
I run Small Game every time now.
It's very satisfying to cleanse every totem, and see NOED on endgame screen
As for your proposed change: you forget what NOED is there for. It's to counter genrush and Adrenaline. Survivors, especially those on comm, can repair all generators insanely fast. Some weaker killers (Wraith, Doctor, etc) need an edge in the endgame. And if survivors are actually smart enough to cleanse, that's a fair trade: they lose time, but killer loses a perk.
Yeah the counter to gen rush is true. But i feel that with the way they keep nurfing survivors and making it easier to find survivors and harder to find totems, survivors are getting less time in a game. How do you feel about this statement?
I personally don't find NOED so threatening, so I don't care much. But the way I see your approach is this: there is one particular killer perk you dread and find OP, yet for some reason, you refuse to use an easily available and very effective counter, namely Small Game. Instead, you'd have it nerfed in a way that makes it useless, especially for weak killers like Wraith. No offense, but it does not make sense to me. -
I'll never stop tunneling. I'll eat DS if need be, take Deerstalker, slug, and wait out the timer, or whatever I need to go to tunnel one to oblivion as early as possible. It's both fun and a good strategy.HorsePower said:Once again, stop tunneling.

My survival rate is below 30%. But you're missing the important point here. Escape is only one factor in your success as survivor. Repair a lot, help other survivors a lot, waste the killer's time in chases a lot, then die. That's a success. Escaping is just the cherry on top, it definitely should happen less than half the time.
That said, I agree it's more difficult for solo survivors. Devs have a hard time addressing the balance issue between solos and SWF. But you still have the wrong way to look at it. You should enjoy difficulty instead of complaining about it. -

Lol @e8Lattice and just what "OP" perks are you referring to? NOED is clearly not one, so what else?I'm not in practice of engaging with boringly tiresomely predictable brick walls whose one dimensional quality mimics that of an inwardly reflective infinity mirror. And yet I am here. Oh the futility of it all.
So... no dialogue? I guess I shouldn't have started off sarcastic. But I honestly don't think that any perk in the game, killer or survivor is OP in any sense.
Some killers are, yes, but perks? I doubt it. -

Yup. Red ping upon red ping upon some more red ping. Silliness!
-
Which one? All of them? Honestly, Deranged Pursuit can only be done with the help of some willing survivors. Adept is not so bad, Discordance is pretty damn helpful, the other two perks not so much. Stock up on Frank's Mix Tape and keep trying. Injure a few people, and then pick one and go for the down. Even though smart survivors don't heal against Legion, they're more careful with generators, so you will have a slower game.Gamzello said:

It happens to me a lot too lately, some of the survivors in my lobby are 15 or below. Not sure when they're SWF though.
However. Devs. Please, please just don't let matchmaking algorithm put people together who are almost literally at the opposite ends of this planet. I'm from Eastern Europe, and I regularly get survivors from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, one time even Australia.
I assume a decent algorithm is not easy to make, but this part? Not letting people join a lobby with a ping of 3-400, sometimes more... that should be easy.
-
No way. Most streamers are cocky, trash people.
-
Well said! NOED is actually good for the game. Gives survivors something else to worry about than gens. Not that most if them do, but those who don't can only blame themselves.
Of course, many who die because of it prefers blaming "noob killer" or the devs. Kindergarten.
