In this event I have faced, at the moment, against 6 killers, and the 6 have camped.
It is an event that favors campers who have no other way to win or score points.
It is a shame of celebration. I do not celebrate the 2nd Anniversary.

    Sorry for my english.

This event is the last event that favors campers. Please think before you say something.

You don't even need to touch generators. All you need to do is to sit on the hook and wait for the survivors to finish bbq gens if you have bbq offering. You will easily get 20k+. If the killer doesn't try to get bbq hooks, he will get 10-12k at best.

This is why killers just disconnect if they see a survivor who tries to sabo their hooks. Camping that guy will get him loads of points while they won't be able to get anything in return.

  • She is still slow. Not good at pressuring gens as much as billy or nurse.

She hasn't got the ability to down survivors with 1 hit. Although chases are shorter than other killers, nurse is still better. Since billy has 1 shot ability, he has more potential to end chases quicker.

Although her power is strong and useful, it still wastes a lot of time and can be avoided by a perk and an item.

We have to stop complaining about killers who are weaker than nurse and billy. I believe that billy is in a good position right now and all others should be at his level including nurse.

Event Is going to suck anyway survivors saboing the hooks and killers hard camping the gens events like this are bad for the game

I haven't seen any sabo guy today except one. None of the killers have tried to camp event gens as well. So far so good.

I am pretty sure devs are trying to fix the game since this game is also their money source. A little bit positivity wouldn't kill anybody.

    Just had this match.
That guy didn´t do particuarly much btw.

When you burn an event offering, you get more points from hooks and generators. Even if you don't touch an event generator, when it is done, you get more points. It is not counted as extra so you are able to have more than 32k.

@Delfador After reading your suggestions the first time I was like...meh. But going through there's actually a lot of decent and really good ideas. Huntress rudolph outfit or mask would be a really good match. But the biggest problem I have is WHERE IS THE SNOWMAN OUTFIT?

    Jake - Werewolve
    Meg - Vampire
    Claudette - Witch
    Nea - Grim Reaper
Laurie - Michael Myers (Bloody Overall)
Ace - Vampire Hunter or Phantom of the Opera-esque Phantom
    David - Frankenstein's Monster
Feng Min - Cosplay of a character of one of her games
    David Tapp - Robo-Cop
    Quentin and Bill - Zombies
    Kate - Banshee

    Killer:
Trapper - Mine Worker (With a headlight)
    Wraith - Goblin
    Hillbilly - Sasquatch (Big Foot)
    Nurse - Weeping Angel
Michael - New masks from other Halloween movies (the clown mask or the one from the newest movie or his ghost costume)
    Hag - Skeleton/Zombie
    Huntress - Werewolve
    Doctor - Plague Doctor
Leatherface - Of of his alternative costumes (Black Suit)
    Freddy - Original Freddy
Pig - Billy Suit and Face Paint (saw an awesome fan-art)
    Clown - Pennywise-esque or circus-themed

It would be awesome to have a specific Christmas cosmetic:

    Reindeer mask for Huntress (Rudolph?)

I hope devs will see this and take your suggestions seriously. All of them are great especially doc

I know it hasn't gone PTB yet, but personally i think it might be a little bit too much. Not because it would nerf camping but because it would give survivors a super excessive coordination to make generators, which are already ridicolously short. I understand what they are trying to do, they are trying to balance the game through SWF and (hopefully) then buff killers even more, but a buff like this for survivors, really? Maybe i could be ok with just the aura of the killer shown within the 8 meters from the hook, but come on, all survivors' aura? It feels like there would be no way to completely stop generators for even one second if all the survivors knows what they are doing.

If the developers really want to make SWF and solo Q equally strong then add comms to Solo Q. Since both SWF and Solo Q are equally strong... The developers can balance the game better. I don't think we need bandaids to fix Solo Q, we need the thing that makes SWF so strong and that's comms.

The problem is that not everybody knows english or even if we know, we might not be able to pronounce the words in the way that other players can understand. It wouldn't be a huge problem for americans but Europeans will have very hard time. If the game is getting balanced around voice comms and killers become strong enough to get 4ks against voice comms, the survivors who are not able to communicate will get destroyed.

  • Tbh with you, I don't understand how It affects campers. I am not trying to be sarcastic or a smartass here, I just don't understand it.

You can easily tell if a killer camps people so you don't need to have kindred for that. Even if he camps, I don't think kindred would help us survivors much. Instead of taking kindred, taking bond would help people a lot since it allows you to see other survivors around the hook as well as in other situations.

Instead of hindering campers, it actually affects killers who do not camp. Just imagine, you will be able to see the killer and which direction he comes from. You will be able to see a nurse blinking towards you, a billy raving his chainsaw towards you etc.

If I am mistaken or got some part wrong feel free to tell me really.

  • Hillbilly and nurse are already powerful enough to not even use an ultra rare addon. I would like to see LF and doc getting ultra rare addons. Especially LF since his addons are either garbage or stolen from Billy.

  • If both sides play optimally and the killer is not a top tier killer, the game already sides with survivors. Buffing survivors without buffing killers seem very stupid to me.

If they are trying to bring the survivor side to SWF level, at least in turn they could have given a couple of things to killers. People still do not think that kindred is powerful but when it is implemented, they will understand its true power.

I hate to talk about changes before we even try them but kindred was not a change that both sides wanted or complained. Survivors complain about bloodlust so I actually am excited to see the new bloodlust. Killers complain about gen rushing so I am also excited to see the second objective.

If survivors really complain about camping and think that kindred is a must, then they can use a perk slot for that. Killers already do that for ruin.

  • @Runiver said:
Would have prefered him to have a stronger base kit and a weaker ultra-rare add-ons, rather than the current state, honestly.

This is unfortunately this game's one of problems. A lot of killers including wraith and freddy actually is good but you need addons. Devs need to understand that rather than killer addons, they should buff their base kit.

Addons should be accessible and should not be too powerful like insta chainsaws or 4 blink nurses. Instead of being too powerful, their purpose should be changing play style of a killer. Hag and myers have really good addons that allow you to play them differently like lery's 0 terror radius myers, or body blocking hag.

  • For me it changes. I can find competent survivors in every rank since a lot of people derank purposely. Although in lower ranks survivors are incompetent, there are less nurses so the life is easier for me. In rank 1, killers usually play either hillbilly or nurse so the matches are sometimes nightmare for survivors.

I made a post where I said that we could change it to a non hex perk. However, instead of hooking survivors 5 times, killers had to hook 4 different people so that it would kinda prevent camping and tunneling since killers would get something in turn for choosing different targets.

    The problem is doctor.

Doctor with his annoying built would be just unbeatable. As you know, huntress lullaby does 2 things. It prevents skill check sounds from appearing, and regresses generators even further if you miss a skill check. Imagine random skill checks because of doctor's own ability without sounds and and with unnerving presence.

If it is going to become a non hex perk, then It should be nerfed.

  • I think that in order to make this perk viable, it should become a non hex perk and it should curse the person you downed so that for 60-90 seconds no body will be able to see him.

In order to avoid slugging, it should apply to one person at once, if you down a new survivor, the curse will change the target and survivors will be able to see the first downed survivor.

Oh my.... a business try’s to accommodate for 4/5ths if it’s player base 🧐🤭🧐
mots almost like they are trying to make as much money as they can while they can.

That being said I really don’t think the last patch did much, killers for some reason thought they got some amazing balance with exhaustion when really they didn’t at all, and survivors though they got it bad when again it’s not noticeable to most players at all.
just like these next PROPOSED changes, won’t be, I mean who ever uses BL 3 and apart from letting a survivor know what the other survivors are doing while hooked isn’t gonna be a huge game changer either, stopping the hook farming reward is a good change for both sides, stops crappy saves and crappy killers.

Although I agree with most of what you said, I think you are making a fatal mistake when you underestimate the power of kindred.

So many times I have wasted my time to go to the hooked person to only find that another survivor came and rescued her. It is time consuming and killer benefits from it. This is why an early hook can change the whole pacing of the game. If survivors really need this perk, just like many killers need ruin, then they can sacrifice one perk slot for that. I just can't understand how devs can give a massive buff to one side while giving no advantage to the other side.

and recovering from exhaustion after getting unhooked
thank god these devs realize how boring is playing as survivor after patch
it’s just my opinion seriously cannot play as killer because lobby is bugged and playing as survivor is hell boring (no swf i play solo btw)

I would just like the team to see the killer if they are facecamping or really nearby, I think this will give survivors some counterplay to camping

There allready is counterplay, it's called not running to the hook and doing gens by playing into the killer you will go down one by one, the game is allready lost for you if he gets someone down close to the hook

    there's a 2-fold problem with that
1: WGLF stacks: survivors are like vultures for the blood points and don't really care about saving their team mate
2: Benevolence Emblem: The longer the survivor is on the hook the benevolence points involved with the emblem count down.

The devs put this into the game so survivors wouldn't just gen rush, they had to do other stuff besides gens in order to pip, killers can abuse this to prevent survivors from saving team mates and possibly getting a 2k from altruism. Kindred fixes this because they actually get a benefit from leaving a survivor on the hook longer, but it would make aura perks more situational.

Then maybe survivors should use kindred as a perk not an innate ability.

A lot of killers' own perks like lightborn is also situational. If he can't play around flashlights and flashlights are his nightmare, he uses this perk instead of using perks like whisper, bamboozle, enduring etc. He sacrifices a perk slot for his problem.

If camping is a problem for survivors, then they can use kindred themselves. No killer in this thread or in anywhere else says that kindred as a perk is extremely overpowerful. It becomes really powerful when all the 4 survivors have it without sacrificing anything.

They are balancing the game. Balancing the game does not mean survivors only need nerfs and killers only need buffs.

When killers are significantly weaker than the other side that's exactly what it means.

When one side is lower you don't raise the other to become even higher. You level the field.

You bring one side down or keep it where it's at while only touching the other until they're even.

So if Survivors had all the advantages they currently do with the exception of Killers being able to clip through all solid objects Survivors would still need a nerf?

No?...Because clipping through everything would remove the survivors advantage...That'd be OP. Like Nurse.

    What about gen rushing?
    What about stuns?
    What about DS?
    SB?
    SC?
    SWF?

If you’re going to be straight about it, Survs still have an advantage, just not in chases. But how can Survs and Killers be on a level playing field if the balancing is centered around keeping a brokenly OP aspect of the “lesser” side?

You clearly haven't seen a solo queue'd game.

    Neither have you.

I only play this solo so that's a failed attempt at whatever the hell your point is

Complaints have to do with SWF, cause obviously it's broken. Solo queue'd games are not.

I am a survivor main and I am counting now. I played 7 games against leatherfaces and all of them was 4 escape in rank 1-2. I wish I was exaggerating btw.

Pigs, wraiths, and almost all of other killers except for nurse, hillbilly and huntress have really hard time. For some reason freddies beat our ass I don't know why.

I always play solo and if there is swf, they are no more than 2 people.

I know personal accounts do not mean much but how many times did you get destroyed by a leatherface at high ranks?

I feel that the game is still really survivor sided at high ranks if the killer is not viable like nurse.

    Noed should be default lol

It would kill NOED. If you know that there will be a NOED in every single game, you would just go to hunt totems. NOED kills survivors who do not pay attention to totems and just gen rush the killer.

Giving killers default BBQ means nothing to me because kindred finds a lot of solutions to a lot of problems like camping, knowing where your teammates are, knowing who is being chased, knowing who is closest to the hook so you don't even need to leave your genny etc.

I think that BOTH sides should receive these kind of things that make the game more interesting and complicated. Survivors getting something like this big while killers get nothing seems unbalanced for me.

However, I am all for making the game more complicated and giving tools to both sides to show their intelligence and skill.

So I just prestiged my first character, billy.

I would be super happy, but it was an accident, and he's the only killer I had at level 50. Ripperoni me, I didn't even use any of his offerings or add ons, and I just got the bbq and chili teachable so I could use him to farm bloodpoints. I was looking at the prestige thing to see what the rewards for prestiging were, and absentmindedly clicked the right option because it was late and for some reason I thought that would be cancel, probably because i click the right option to quit the game.

Any of you guys ever make big mistakes that you completely and totally regret?

I used to play sneaky so I wanted p3 claudette. I generally neglected her and spent my bloodpoints on the other characters. Here and there I would use my bloodpoints to level her up.

Eventually I got my p3 claudette but now I completely abandoned playing sneaky so I couldn't even utilize her p3 clothes. I really regret using my bloodpoints to get her p3 full perk set. It was totally in vain.

Anyone wanna have a guess on what chapter 9 will be like?
    Licensed or Generic killer?
    Good or Bad killer?
Good survivor perks or survivor perks equivalent to surveillance?

I really don't want to see a licensed killer. Why?

They don't have control over them as much as they have control over their own creation. Generally, their licensed killers are really weak except for myers and even he is not that good. Creating cosmetics and all the related stuff is also another problem.

They need to create another top tier killer that is difficult to play but rewarding like nurse. She/he shouldn't be more powerful than nurse but something close to her would be very nice. The new killer's perks should be game changing and allowing us to play in different styles. For example, although freddy is not a good killer, his perk set is unique and allows different gameplays.

I think that both survivor's and killer's perks should be powerful and useful enough for us to give up our own perks.

If I were them, I would go with church and killer priest concept with a good christian boy or a girl as a survivor. Yes it is overused and predictable but it feels like this community already wants generic killers like priests, clowns etc.

I feel like community is freaking out about bloodlust change. It is useful but really, I haven't reached bloodlust 3 many times. Maybe I didn't face good survivors enough for me to need BL3. We need to see the change first.

I actually support pallet changes. The game should be more responsive and skill based for both sides. These steps are in right direction and I hope they change the killers in a way that better players can show their skills with each unique killer. It should also be true for the survivors.

To me, the most problematic aspect is the innate kindred. As op stated it is like trying to elevate solo survivors to the level of SWF groups which is a mistake.

I looove the idea of Kindred, and I sincerely hope they give people tier 3 for free.

Too often do I see survivors hook rushing or camping a hook expecting the killer to leave and wasting precious time as a result. Heck, it's not uncommon for some people to waste the full two minute hook time waiting around like an idiot instead of doing the objectives in the meantime.

As well, I've actually seen quite a few killers literally camp a hook for two minutes while me and the other survivors are working on the same generator half a map away. Meanwhile I'm wondering what the guy's problem is since no one's even attempting an unhook. Then he repeats for the next guy if the game isn't done yet.

I'm hoping this innate Kindred effect can promote a more efficient playstyle for survivors by giving them the information they need to act smarter. This would, in turn, maybe motivate some killers to get out there and actually try interacting with other players. Now this would definitely increase gen rushing, but I'm optimistic that encouraging survivors to play more optimally might open the doors to introducing new objectives to slow the game down (I mean, they did mention - fingers crossed!) in a meaningful and fun way. This would hopefully alleviate the killer's time-related burdens, especially with the introduction of an innate Kindred.

Not to mention, talk about the incentive to run Open Handed (with a likely cap to seeing the killer's aura via Kindred's effects).

It is a terrible idea and will never work in favor of a killer.

Sometimes, survivors think that somebody will go and unhook the person on the hook. They continue to do the generators and the survivor on the hook gets to second phase. Works for the killer.

Sometimes 2 survivors run to the hook and get a save. The killer was able to waste 3 survivors' time at that moment. If he chases somebody, then the whole game halted. Works for the killer.

When kindred is used, we will be able to see if there is a survivor near a hook. If I see somebody around the hook, why would I waste my time to go there instead of repairing a generator?

Then you can ask why should it be in favor of the killer? Why should not survivors gain favor by getting hooked?

Getting hooked means a failure and we try to award it by giving a buff to survivors. It should not happen naturally. You can keep your kindred as a perk and use it but innate ability is too much. People don't understand but this change is much more problematic than bloodlust imo.

    Exactly!

These inconsistencies in player actions due to the uncertainties of the situation often create killer-sided benefits. That's part of the problem in my opinion actually, as it's artificially making killers stronger in games by basing that strength on survivor decisions. This in turn, can make the idea of buffing killers kind of scary due to the snowballing potential from inadequate survivor responses alone.

Why not instead make these actions more consistent for survivors, and reward killers in some other way?

Maybe the addition of new objectives to give the killer more time to act, or perhaps a debuffing for hooking survivors for the first time? Maybe both, or something new entirely?

What I want from this new Kindred is for power to be more consistently measured and controlled by giving survivors the information to act more appropriate to a given situation. Then subsequently balance around that. I want to see killers rewarded not for survivor ignorance and stupidity, but for their own plays, decisions and accomplishments. Maybe even see an increase in the opportunities for such plays by the introduction of new meaningful objectives to off-set the time lost by increased survivor efficiency.

Yes, you're giving survivors additional information for free. But in exchange, I'm hoping for more consistent results in-game, less snowballing for either side, and hopefully better balance decisions when less variables are present. I really do feel this would be a decent step towards that.

Actually if they give killers abilities with which they can make plays, I am all for making game more complicated for skilled and intelligent players to show themselves. With this change, survivors will be able to make plays without losing anything. The problem here is that they give this buff to survivors without giving anything to the killer side. IMO, except for top tier killers, game is already survivor sided and this is why survivors could easily handle exhaustion nerf etc.

Giving survivors more information to be on par with SWF is obviously not intended to benefit the killer. Why should it? The point is so that solos' experience isn't absolute trash compared to grouping up.

Getting hooked shouldn't spell out instant death just because you decided to queue alone. Being able to coordinate with other solos will alleviate being left for dead on the hook and discourage camping.

The pallet changes, pick up changes (flashlight and save nerf), and low-tier killer changes are what is working to benefit killers as a whole. Soon, we'll have 4 killers buffed, with Pig confirmed on reddit as well. Changes that aren't dedicated to buffing killers aren't "problematic", they serve to fix other areas of the game.

I have quoted somebody and wrote my own post as an answer to him. The reason why I said that the new change would not work in favor of the killers was because he said something like it was going to be helpful for the killer side too. The sentence before the last sentence seemed like an innate kindred would be helpful for the killer. However he also mentioned secondary objective so most probably it was my own misunderstanding.

I believe the survivor side is already powerful enough to beat the most killers if not top 3. Although there are some strategies that can be played against SWF, lets not act as if SWF is balanced. Making solo survivors as good as SWF is not a good idea.

Although I disagree that getting hooked is an instant death, even if it is, you can sacrifice a perk slot for kindred. To this day, in order to prolong the game for a minute, hex ruin invaded most of the killers' one perk slot. I believe that the survivor side can do the same thing for themselves.

  • The only improvement this perk needs is the activation button like dead hard.

Even 3 secs without lithe, it is pretty powerful when vaulting over the right windows. Sometimes you need to vault and this perk just gets wasted.

5 seconds and 20 sec cooldown is just powerful and means that you can almost always use it.

as long as we are on the topic, the devs have been asked for like 6 months now in every QA about why the report form was taken down before another was put up, and how long it will take to make one. they dodge the question every single time, to the point where its become a joke around here, since apparently its easier to make dlc like maps, killers and survivors, than to make a basic web form.

the lack of a report and the ingame one being a joke (proof with video goes unchecked for months) has lead to an influx of speedhackers in the past few months, but bhvr wouldnt know that since they dont have a system to keep track of it.

i dont honestly expect answers, i just want you to know that this looks bad.

"because every action should have some sort of consequences"

Like getting hooked refills your exhaustion.

C'mon, folks, let's take a nice relaxing break on the hook.

    -Mashes Sprint while getting unhooked-

Camping has a very real consequence - It's a loss vs SWF / anyone that realized you're standing still.

Bloodlust would not be necessary if they:

    1) Balanced the maps
    2) Fixed the hitboxes to remove Nascar Racing Sim 2000

It depends with camping, because a lot of people will still rush in like beheaded chicken. So it can easily be beneficial for those who camp.

And it is way too punishing that exhaustion wouldn't go down when you're hooked. Now for clarification, I actually did not watch the Q&A (the irony as mod). Is it literally like it resets or that it still has the normal exhaustion effect? The latter is what I'm okay with, if it literally resets, no spank you.

BL is the same reasoning I gave earlier - balance maps and you added the hitbox issue.

I am so sorry but are you real?

If survivors rush in like beheaded chicken, it is their own fault and they deserve to be punished and camping strategy should work there. If they understand that the killer camps, then they should turn it into an opportunity and gen rush him. If the killer understands that the other survivors are gen rushing him, then he should make a move or accept a loss. If one side plays badly, that side should lose, period.

If one side uses a tool to get something, another side should have a tool to counter it. For camping, survivors have gen rushing option. Also they have a perk option called kindred and they can use it. Why do they get an extra option for nothing?

I need to see the next bloodlust effect and other changes to say something but inbuilt kindred is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard in this game.

  • Kindred is much more powerful than most people think. The reason why it is not being seen as a powerful perk is because not all of the survivors use it in a match.

Survivors can say that the killer side also has got powerful aura reading perks recently but the killers need to sacrifice a perk slot for that. For bitter murmur which perk slot should I give up? BBQ? Whispers? NOED? Bamboozle? Enduring? Brutal strength? Ruin? I am not saying that kindred should be removed, what I am saying is that if you don't like getting camped then use it and sacrifice a perk slot for that, give up your sprint burst, selfcare, adrenaline, borrowed time, bond, urban evasion or iron will.

Survivors get something really cheap while killers need to make sacrifices constantly.

I am okay with pallet changes tbh. I think that the game should be more responsive both for the killers and the survivors.

  • Hexes are high risk high reward perks. This suggestion just kills their nature.

The only improvement I want is that the killer must be able to choose his/her hex location and hex totem should be active even if the killer doesn't choose a location for the first 30 seconds of the game. After that, if there is still no location, It should become inactive as long as there is no hex totem on the map. NOED should still be random.

  • These are my personal favorites: I can't watch them all the time because I like to watch all of them and my list is long.
    Vinc3ntVega
    Angrypug
    AdmiralBahroo
    Noob3
    Zubat

  • For survivors, bond is my favorite.
-It is good for getting blood points especially after the coop points got buffed.
-With bond you can easily team up and finish a generator within 45 seconds. Killers don't even have enough time to react and stop the generator.
-When somebody is on the hook, I can see other survivors around the hook and take a free hit for them to go and rescue the hooked survivor.
-If I am being chased and see somebody doing one of the gates, I lead killer to somewhere else and then escape through the gate.
There are many many things that you can do with bond.

For killers, ruin is my favorite.
-Because I don't want to play a match that lasts 3-4 minutes even if I 4k.

  • Bond and windows of opportunity are always with me. Generally the last 2 are Iron will and borrowed time.

If I want blood points I go with WGLF and Selfcare. Selfcare is for taking hits and I can't rely on my teammates without Iron will.

Here and there I also use small game, dead hard, dance with me+lithe combo, urban evasion and balanced landing.

it seems like they will never make hosting dedicated because of economic problems. Because lagswitching is a real problem atm, what do you think about random host. It could be the killer or one of the 4 survivor. Also if a survivor leave the game, host is given to the next random person. Abuse of lagswitch should be less of a problem then.

There is another problem with random person host.

Lets say I am a survivor and I play in Germany. One survivor joins my lobby and he is from the Netherlands. Another one joins my lobby and he is from Poland. As long as I am the host, they won't have any lag issues because they are close to me. However, if I die and if the guy from the Netherlands is chosen to be the host, the guy in Poland might start to have lag issues.

I am not sure about destinations so don't bother with Netherlands-Poland example but I am sure it would be much more problematic than lag switching.

As a killer main can't believe i'm gonna suggest this.. However can we fix the game mechanic where the survivor has safely vaulted to the other side of a window, fence, etc. and still some how manages to get hit?
They did a good job, magaged to vault to safety and while completely on the other side manages to still get hit. Not what should happen me thinks.

I feel like they designed it in that way deliberately but yeah if they land safely, they shouldn't get a hit. It feels clunky just like new pallet animation.

  • I wish there was a mod in which we could actually kill the killer. For completing specific objects we could get parts of a gun and then kill the killer. Of course, It should be more difficult than these generator repairing simulator matches. I bet it would be fun.

I dont wanna hear "oh killers get to abuse the hell out bugs etc..." we went like 3+ months without survivor breathing and footsteps and scratch marks being just stupid.. while the issues with the TR Was fixed overnight prettymuch

Though it wasnt that bad to not hear survivors' breathing. This tinkerer bug completely changes the game and should have been fixed in a couple of days.

  • Kavanagh's Last Breath
Moderately increases the chain Blink window.
    Slightly increases fatigue duration.
    Removes 1 chain Blink.

It increases chain blink window and removes 1 chain blink. It obviously is meant to be used with something like fragile wheeze. Her addons make you more powerful in a particular way. If you can't land on survivors easily, you need to use chain blinks. If you need extra time to perform your second blink, you need to use kavanagh's Last Breath+fragile wheeze. If you want to put more pressure, you need to use range addons etc.

The reason why people hate nurse's addons is because her addons ######### up muscle memory.

If you rework jenner's in the way you said, and if people use it with fragile wheeze, there will be no chance to juke the nurse. There must be massive downsides to use an addon so that you have to use them with a particular addon like fragile wheeze.

  • They need to make drastic changes for this perk to be somewhat useful. Right now, taking surveillance instead of BBQ, NOED, bamboozle, brutal strength, enduring, MYC is kinda stupid.

I think that with this perk, killer should mark the generator and whenever it is being worked on, killer should get a notification like spine chill. It would fit its name and I think that it still wouldn't be as much powerful as the other killer perks.

I liked your idea too but we need to consider doc as well. 3 gen strap with this perk would be brutal.

  • There are some perks that you always need to assume that killers and survivors use and play the game accordingly. Unlike survivor perks, killer perks can be avoided easily. NOED and BBQ are one of the most used perks in the game so it is safe to assume that killers are gonna have them.

I have seen zubat using NOED multiple times with his doc for example. Is he a bad killer? Nope. Just because somebody chose to use something, you can't say that they are bad at the game. Have you played with this pig in other matches? How do you know that he is a pig main? Maybe he was a nurse main and tried to play a pig game and needed NOED. Killers like pig freddy leatherface etc. need NOED whatever we say. They are obviously bad killers for high ranks.

You can't blame survivors or killers who want to use the most powerful perks in the game. Survivors use DS, selfcare, sprint burst etc. Killers use BBQ, NOED, whispers etc.

  • A few hooks in 30 secs? I am not even sure if 2 hit animations+pick up animation+hook animation allows you to get a hook in 30 secs LUL
Yeah before going into math, I know they do allow it, I am just kidding.

Ruin is not a strong perk. It is a gamble perk. Sometimes it just works and completely halts the game and gives me 4k without ruin or gens go down, sometimes somebody spawns on top of it and without seeing my totem it gets destroyed. Most of the times, survivors start to do a genny, see skillchecks and within 30 secs it goes down.

Bad survivors can't do anything with DS. It is only good when used by good survivors who can loop you. And when it is used by good survivors, it can be game changing because it makes you lose your momentum. I don't have too much trouble with DS personally though.

  • @Ihatelife said:
    Save the best for last

Same, especially with freddy it is brutal.

  • There is no other perk that could potentially replace ruin.

Tana is garbage and I have no idea why people use it. Even if you injure 4 people, it only slows down generators 15 percent. 80+12=92 One skill check with ruin=%8. Also people try to find ruin so it gives you extra time.

Dying light is good but you need to remember that in order to activate it, you need to kill your obsession. You don't know when you will find your obsession, you don't know how much time it will take to kill your obsession etc. Very unreliable.

There is not much choice left behind. At least not that I know. There is nothing you can do about this except for waiting devs to fix hex totem placements. Well, it is gonna take time that's for sure.

  • It would work well together but I have mixed feelings for coulrophobia. You need to have a good terror radius so you need to use distressing. Just to get very slow healing speed, you will use your 3 perk slots which is too much for me. I would rather go with sloppy butcher.

  • I actually am quite happy with WGLF as it is though it would be better if we could gain tokens by healing other people. However if we are going to buff it, we can give this perk borrowed time's old ability.

This is the old borrowed time

You are fuelled with an unexpected energy when saving an ally from a hook within the Killer's Terror Radius. Once per match, for 20 seconds after unhooking a Survivor within the Killer's Terror Radius, any damage taken that would put you or the unhooked Survivor into the Dying State will instead trigger a 30/35/40 seconds seconds bleed-out timer. Taking any damage during or reaching the end of the bleed-out timer will put you into the Dying State.

Old borrowed time was protecting both the hooked survivor and the person who saved him. They both would go into bleed out timer when they got hit. I am not sure if it would be very powerful because the person who uses both of these perks will use his 2 perk slots that will not benefit him for hiding or escaping. Borrowed time is for another survivor's safet, WGLF is for bloodpoints and if the killer tries to stop you it will back fire. The only problem would be with SWF groups. They know who uses wglf and borrowed time so the killer will have no chance.

  • Hands down he has got the best lore in the game. Although the story is short, you still can see how his character developed throughout his life. They could have made him a little bit creepier but still he is decent looking.

I thought that clown was a really good killer but more I play against him more I get better.

His ability doesn't shut down pallets, it just makes you use them earlier than normal. You won't be able to run him for 5 gens, however, since the match duration is so short that even wasting pallets doesn't mean much. With the last changes, you can make better plays with hag. I considered him as the 4th best killer but right now i feel like he is the 6th.

  • I think the greatest idea here is the third perk. It can be slightly countered by picking your perks in order and place them in a way that can help you. So I am against the idea that the perks will be chosen randomly. After all, we also have to give survivors a way to counter it. Since hag can find different survivors easily and with the new buffs that the trapper boi got like bloody coil, some killers might become top tier. However, it seems too powerful to implement. Even though this perk might not become a killer perk, we need something like this perk that allows killers and survivors to make plays. This game should be more than pressing w space m1 and m2. Perks like this can change the whole game mechanics.

I am sorry but if you cannot grasp why introducing a real life mass killer into a video game is a bad idea on your own, nothing we can say will help you out there. The fact that most people in this thread have said its a bad idea should be a clue as to why it would be a bad idea.

yes i think youre right. its maybe a too big wall because of emotions and prejudices. not because of logic.

Aristotle - There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.

fine. now you show your real face. instead of talking about facts youre getting emotional. sorry but we dont need more salty mad survivors like you. for sure a game is unrealistic if a survivor can do his testicle into killers mouth but killer cant ######### survivor. if you cant add any useful to this, you should better stay off.

"We may assume the superiority ceteris paribus [all things being equal] of the demonstration which derives from fewer postulates or hypotheses—in short from fewer premisses; for... given that all these are equally well known, where they are fewer knowledge will be more speedily acquired, and that is a desideratum. The argument implied in our contention that demonstration from fewer assumptions is superior may be set out in universal form..."

    Ok buddy whatever you say.

No, it literally praises them in a way and since both of them are rapists, the devs can not take the chance to include them. It might cause a massive backlash.

Killing people in games is fun, killing people in real life is a horrific thing to do. Including these people to the games and trying to earn money from them and dead people is disgusting.

I personally wouldn't want that to happen.

I agree with this statement... We don't need to glorify actual real killers. It is a shame there have been movies already doing this. The Devs in this game don't need to be doing that, even though indirectly they already have.

bro with all respect but youre playing a game where a killer inspired by a real life killer (LF, Clown) gonna smash your head until he cracks, cut off your finger and eat it. the other one put a chainsaw in you and cut you in two pieces. maybe youre playing the wrong game?

Getting inspired as I have said is okay. You can get inspired and if you read my second post I have already talked about leatherface and give him as an example. If you read my second post again, I have said that clown was not even inspired by Grace at least according to Devs.

Getting smashed, my finger being eaten etc. is not the problem here. ######### is an important issue and it will cause a massive backlash whatever you say. It is a cultural thing but believe me if the devs were comfortable with the idea, they would include a ######### into the game long time ago.

It is not a taboo or something. These people are not historical people, they are not important people, what they have done was disgusting but not 'world changing'. They don't deserve to be remembered and getting rewarded by getting included into a game.

why you say devs inculde them? john wayne gacy is already included as clown. they already stated they was inspired by him. however with makarenkov iam not sure. i dont mean they should name him so but maybe get inspired by him. and i agree to you, its a horrific thing to kill or ######### persons in real life but thats just a game. i mean just because youre looking friday the 13th you doesnt kill everyone?

No, the devs clearly stated in one of their streams that they didn't get inspired by him at all. The clown as a killer is a widely known cultural figure in western countries and they used it. If this game was created by africans, indians or asians, we might not have seen a clown killer at all.

What you are talking and what I am saying is completely different. Of course I wouldn't go and kill people because I watched or played Jason. I wouldn't kill people if I played Grace neither. This isn't the issue. The issue here is that one of them is a fictional character and although what he has done was horrific, it wasn't real. The other one inflicted pain in the real life and should not be rewarded by getting included to a game.

I have no problem with inspiration. After all, leatherface has been created by inspiration as well. Directly including them is the real problem here.
