1) starts with 3 traps but loses ability to hold 3 after placeing the first one, then he can hold 2 by default
2) can throw traps at a distance right in front of him to set them instead of bending down
3) Traps have bigger hitboxes and the propt for disarming a trap is only shiwn when looking directly at the trap
4) New option to manually trap windows and pallets so they will always trap survivors instead of trying to inch around until you think you have the perfect place
5) Remove the downfalls of all addonsIf 2 is like clown's ability, then no it would be too powerful. Instead, It would be very cool if he and the hag could place the traps without losing line of sight. So they will be able to place the traps without looking at the ground. It wouldn't make them op but they would be more enjoyable and powerful.

When I first started playing killer I Myers mained to rank one. Then i started using the trapper and noticed the terror radius doesn’t make much of a difference because you don’t know what angle I’m coming from anyways.
No, we actually know in a sense. When I hear heartbeat, I don't have to know what angle you are coming from anyway. I just can go to the nearest pallet and wait there for you. No terror radius can't be implemented in this game because there are killers like leatherface or hillbilly that can down survivors with 1 hit. Also, ambush killers like the pig or the wraith would lose all of their ability. Why would I choose them If I can use hillbilly with no terror radius.
I wish there were no scratch marks and heartbeat but these 2 features are almost impossible to implement.

I don't know what they can do but killers should not be at the hands of survivors' mercy right now. Survivors must feel the pressure to finish the objectives and get out the game as quickly as possible. However, even survivors try to not gen rush because they want more bloodpoints.
We gen rush because you have to in order to pip pretty much since it's a free for all and with so many maps now having gens only 1 person can work on if you don't gen rush you're screwed. Me I prefer to actually wait a the start to get my bearings so that i can scout where the killer might come from. I like to see where are my escape paths at, where are area si might be able to run to.
I see people at high ranks run around all the time and in plain sight in wide open areas basically saying here I am killer. For em I want to know where that killer is at or at least find someplace when I start moving that they don't have an easy target or los on me.
As a killer I try not to take the same route to a gen, I try not to look right at the gen I'm going to in case they've got spine chill. I don't always check the same gen the same way, sometimes Ill go far around it, other times the direct approach..I try and mix things up so I'm not predictable. I find I catch more people that way and I'll also try and guide them towards areas I know survivors are at. I don't always chase them in a straight line but sometimes slide to the side to guide them to where I want to.
The high rank killers that get me quite often do so because they tend to think like a survivor and not a killer when hunting. They also do what I said above and don't try and chase me directly but will cut the corner to where they think i might be going.
How many of the killers complaining do the same thing over and over again? Do you always play the same killer and same perks/items/add ons etc? If you don't choose the most optimum killer with the most optimum perks/items and add ons then the problem is more you than the game design.
I've been seeing people detroy with high ranked Hag's and Freddy's and they do it by not running the most popular perks/items/add ons. Some of the people that've commented about playing those champs have said how to do it but been ridiculed by some of the same people on here. I've been destroyed at high ranks by Trappers because they get the most out of them. Instead of going with that Mori because they see a steamer they use a map offering that's good for them.
I have no problem with survivors who gen rush. After all, it is the only objective that the survivors have right? More you kid around, more pallets get destroyed, less chance that you will survive, I get it. However, you can't claim unless you are a nurse that if survivors want to finish generators as quickly as possible, you are able to stop them. It is not just possible. Maps are too big and there are way too much pallets. In certain maps even if you don't loop but throw the pallets and force the killer to break them, you will run him for 5 gens.
Your play style is kinda good but right now, survivors have no reason to be afraid of the killer. There is no reason for hiding unless it is your third hook or something.
Getting destroyed by a hag is okay because akiller can make plays with her. Getting destroyed by trapper or leatherface is kinda weird. It is not like I am never getting destroyed by them but when usually somebody is getting destroyed by these killers, it is more of his problem and fault. Killers can't make plays with leatherface he is way too simple.
Mentioning addons is not a great way to go. Killers can't have the addons that they want all the time. When people complain about hag and claim that she is too weak, they don't think about mint rag hag. With mint rag, she is way too powerful nobody denies that.
I agree with what you said about optimum perks. Yeah there are great perks for certain killers and they should be used for them.
I want to play mind games and force people to do stuff like force them to go some areas but as I have said when you try to do that, the game can be over if the survivors want. This is the problem. There is a chance that the game can be over within 4 minutes and even nurse sometimes can't handle this, if she is not very good. Average matches should take at least 8-10 minutes.

I don't know why but it means nothing to me. I don't remember if I get triggered by tbags in this game at all.

Inb4 "you just played bad as killer, git gud, i can stomp any SWF team ezpz. if you can't control gens you suck"There's idiots that actually believe in this nonsense.
This is actually not far form the truth both sides f the argument, I've seen bad killer at high ranks use the swf group excuse when it's all solo players. I've also been stomped by swf sometimes by my own bad decisions and other time because they just flat out outplayed me.
The idiots are those that refuse to accept that there might be some truth to some of what's being said and some of those that believe everything that's said.
Gens are not in your control. It's up to the Survivors to choose how fast they want them done.
Gatekeeper is an emblem that you really have to pray the Survivors take their sweet time or you'll end up with nothing in that category.
I rush gens all the time. I get teams that don't rush the gens so gates take a while to power, other times I'll get teams that fly through gens in 3-5 minutes. There's nothing the Killer can really do about that.
Totally true. Killers are at the hands of survivors' mercy right now. Especially if survivors man up and repair generators together, the killer has no time to catch, down and hook somebody and stop the generator that is being worked.
In the thompson's house map, I was repairing a gen with 2 other survivors. When we progressed the gen 40% nurse downed a survivor in the cornfield. The time between hooking a survivor and directly coming to our gen with her blinks was so long that we were able to finish the generator. That match lasted like 4 minutes. The killer was not a bad nurse btw. She didn't use ruin and didn't slug anybody and this allowed us to gen rush her.
I don't know what they can do but killers should not be at the hands of survivors' mercy right now. Survivors must feel the pressure to finish the objectives and get out the game as quickly as possible. However, even survivors try to not gen rush because they want more bloodpoints.

I am also one of the bond users. When you start to use bond, you just can't stop using it. It kinda became meta for me and I think it is better than self care tbh. There are many situations in which bond becomes really valuable. Finding other players to repair generators, healing yourself and others, when somebody is being camped you can see the teammates near the hook and make a play like getting a hit for someone else to get the save etc.
If you are going to use bond, you might as well want to use Iron will too but i don't know how many perk slots you can give. My build is urban evasion, iron will, bond and windows of opportunity. Believe me, you don't need any kind of crutch perks to play the game.

Why do people look at the situation one sided?

So if any devs actually read this, first of all hey.Now down to buisiness, I know that the devs are currently looking at Trapper, Hag, Freddy and Wraith for buffs. This is great and my question is this: After they are all buffed, what killers are you considering focusing on next?
Now I know you have said that you are focusing right now on the aformentioned four killers, but you must at least have an idea on who you would like to look at next.
I personally, and i'm sure much of the killer community, would recommend you taking a deep look into Leatherface. This is because LF is, in a word, awful. His ability sucks and is super clunky, his add-ons are mostly useless and just copy Hillbilly and he has kind of become a meme in that he is just the ultimate camping killer.
LF is another topic for himself though, I am just really curious what the plan is for more killer buffs if you would be inclined to tell us.
Thank you!
LF doesn't need anything. The one who needs buffs is Freddy.
Tbh, with freddy, you can at least make a couple of plays. There is nothing you can do with leatherface right now except for camping. There is no such thing as good LF because his ability doesn't need any kind of skill or usage. He is too simple to use so they can't even make him stronger. They need to rework his ability so that he will be more difficult to use and when used properly, he should be deadly not 'memely'
Actually, this is the problem with this game's killers. They are so ######### simple to use. There is a difference between a good nurse and a bad nurse. There is no difference between a good LF and a bad LF. Everything that you can say about LF is general and comes to one's knowledge about the game. Zubat can play leatherface better than me not because he is actually good at LF but he knows the game and plays the game accordingly.
Edit; Killers must be able to show their skill when they are playing their killers. Nurse, huntress or hillbilly players can show their skill but since killers like LF are so simple, nobody can show their skill. If leatherface comes across with good survivors he is doomed to lose the match.

Even when she wanted to buff the game's pallet design in favor of survivors, she mentioned very safe pallet areas that suck for the killer.Bloodlust is needed for some buildings but she already wants them to fix those issues. Other than that, she doesn't want bloodlust to be removed.
Pallet droppings are a problem too. Just because killers suffered because of pallet vacuum and other issues should not mean that survivors have to suffer too.
In every single post, I am always killer sided except for nurses and I couldn't see any problem with what she has said. The thing that disturbs me is that people including tru3 attacked her from different angles which don't even mean anything. Instead of her suggestion, people talk about how much she plays killer, why she doesn't stream killer etc.
I'm sorry but tru3 attacked her? Can you link me to that cause I don't know if I'd really believe it, he doesn't really talk about balance anymore.

Fixing horrible maps like cowshed-killer sided
The game's safe pallets-killer sided
The amount of pallets in the maps-killer sided
Trapper-Killer sided
Freddy-Killer sided
Chainsaw billy-Killer sided
Nurse and huntress addons nerf-Survivor sided
The game's pallets for survivors-survivor sided
Bloodlust-survivor sided
Delay between pallets-might be survivor sided but it is a common problem. anyway lets say survivor sided.Machine gun build is stupid, nurse is already very strong doesn't need her addons to stack. The game is just a gamble for survivors and hasn't got many windows. The pallets are distributed disproportionately so they need either more windows or a better pallet design. Everybody was complaining about pallet drops.
Only controversial thing is bloodlust and people don't need to freak out for this reason.

@Hillbilly420 I'm looking forward to hide or die hopefully theres a console release. Nothing can compete with dbd. Too original of a concept. Only dbd2 can do better where the whole game is redesigned. It is not too original. It is the only game where horror fans can experience the dream of getting into the same realm with myers, leatherface or freddy.
This 4-7 survivor against a killer concept was born in the movies. In the game industry, dbd was the first successful game that could catch the same atmosphere. There were games like white noise but they didn't succeed.
This game can die very quickly indeed. It only takes one successful game. A lot of killers are frustrated and whenever a better balanced game comes they will switch.
I am not sure if it will happen soon though. After all, new games will not come in golden plates. They will have so many problems as well.

She also commented that several of them play at high ranks so that they cn know the issues and are hardore players.Somebody sent the video I was talking about. I also said that the devs who are playing the game are an important factor too. Queen is a community manager and doesn't have as much power as cote has and judging from the video cote is not a high rank player.
Dude, if any of the devs who can do something about the balance of the game played the game we wouldn't discuss this topic. You can be a survivor main or a killer main but you can't say that without ruin the game lasts long. It is unnaturally short and frustrating for killers.
I'll have to dig through the video where she talks about the 1 dev being way better than her and i've seen high ranks killers just leave me facepalming.
Another good point. A lot of 'high rank killers or survivors' do not belong to high ranks. It is very easy to pip and rank up right now. If you want to see real high ranks, you need to get there within the first week or even within 2 or 3 days after the rank reset. To the end, it becomes mixed and a lot of mediocre players become rank2-1. If the rank system truly represented players' skill, a leatherface could not get single kill without hardcore camping.

I only read the title. I totally disagree with you. More players now than ever. It'll take about another 5 years for this game to decline at it's current state. Even then there will be ample players to find full lobbys within a minute or two. Case Dismissed.Even though there are more players than ever, I feel like more players are about to have an burnout of DBD aswell. The balance flaws are pretty obvious and known to the public now, starting as a new player is so difficult and unrewarding, its ridiculous.
We just gotta hope that devs were honest about trying to make this game competitive and introducing leaderboards/seasonal rewards because this is the only thing that can keep the game alive long time in my opinion.
Currently its the grind that keeps a lot of players playing while they hope for a better future, but at some point you will have P3ed ur characters and realize that devs lied to us

This is totally true.
We need leaderboards and rewards for high ranks so that good players will find a reason to rank up and stop bullying the new killers/survivors.
We need to have a better rank system so that nobody will face beast killers or survivors because right now everybody can pip and rank up.
Match time is too short and certain killers like leatherface, Freddy and wraith are just garbage. High ranks are really boring because there are only billys and nurses. Nurse is too powerful and kills the game's mechanics for survivors. Every killer should be at the same level of hillbilly.
The game will not die soon that's for sure tbh. However, this game could be a lot more popular than it is now and the only reason it won't die is because there is not a single game that can compete with dbd right now. There will be two other games coming out soon that are similar to dbd. If one of those games become somewhat successful, the bells for dbd will start to ring.

SWF problem is more than that. Even if we give survivors a debuff like this, I am not sure whether it will be effective or not. It seems to me more of an annoyance to survivors rather than a balance fix.
We shouldn't punish survivors for wanting to play the game with friends. If we are going to balance SWF, buffing killers should be considered like 8 perks for 4 man SWF.
-
Except for myers, your killers are generally unplayable in high ranks especially leatherface assuming you are not using any addons. As long as you are not a god tier player like me who plays for fun and not that good at video games, trying to play myers is a waste of time as well. If I were you, I would derank and start to use nurse/hillbilly/huntress and get better at them. Even killers like zubat have hard time playing with those killers like leatherface hag etc.
-
Yes there is some toxicity but I am not sure if the game is dying. This is one of the few games which didn't lose its playerbase but actually gained more and more popularity in the last couple of years. I am not quite sure when I started to play this game but when I was playing it, steam stats were 7k-12k current 17k-18k highest. Right now 24k people are playing it and highest number is around 30k. Also, this game is popular in twitch as well.
For the other part, there is toxicity in every single game. It is not unique to this game and there is nothing that devs can do against this. A lot of people consider using flashlights toxic but if the game has given survivors the opportunity to use flashlights, it is devs' fault not survivors. People will talk ######### all the time after matches. I don't think we can prevent this as well.

No you can't do that because doctor's ability is a little bit situational. You need to time it to prevent people from looping. If your change takes place, Clown can easily throw a bottle in front of a pallet and prevent people from using it which is bad.
Clown is actually difficult to play. You need to close the ways where a survivor can go and catch him before he reaches a pallet. Right now a lot of people intoxicate the loops to prevent them looping but then good survivors go to the other pallets.
For me he is 4th. If you can use him efficiently, at least a survivor will not be able to loop you for 5 gens.

Yes, there is supposed to be a balance. If you were to put the killer on one side of the scale and four survivors on the other, the survivor side would be heavier, which is imbalance due to how this game is supposed to be. It needs to be balanced to a point where one killer holds about the same weight of four survivors. So in a sense, this game can be balanced, but at the moment, it's not.
If it were balanced it would be a symmetric game this is an asymmetric game.
It asymmetrical because of 4v1 not because it’s suposed to be one sided. The 4 together are supposed to balance to equal the 1.
Exactly 4 should be equal to 1 but at this point, for most killers 1 almost equals 1. A survivor should not be able to loop a killer for 5 gens.
Stating that I am not getting looped by one guy for 5 gens because I quickly change targets and force them to go to the areas with used pallets. So killers must git gud and understand that playing killer is not like using W and m1. Still, you can't say that wraith and leatherface are perfectly balanced and there is no problem with them.

First, I play survivor. Second, I fully endorse camping when someone does like 99% of the things that survivors do that warrant it (tbagging click click flashlights looping etc.) Why camp someone who gets a flashlight save though? Like I find a yellow flashlight no addons, and happen to blind the killer, thats like an automatic red emblem for altruistic. Now I gotta loop you the rest of the game because of the salt.It is not salt, it is pure logic. I am a survivor main and I am garbage at flashlight saves. So lets say that there is a claudette and she is really good at flashlight saves. If the killer can find her and down her, he should camp her because even if she dies and drops her item, and i pick it up, I won't be able to save people with it.
This is why generally flashlight saver guys use the most powerful perks in the game like DS. They know what will happen to them if they get caught and generally they are good loopers.
My advice to you is that you should not use any kind of flashlight until you can loop a killer for 3-5 gens.

No I still enjoy the game. If you want to balance the game, give killers more perk slots than survivors but don't take away our perk slots.Maybe to balance the game and add more depth to the game, everybody should have their one unique strong perk? Like if you want to use sprint burst, you need to use meg but you won't be able to run self care because it is going to be claudette's.
I don't want what I said to be implemented though. I think that the perk system is fine as it is. It could be cool if the killers had 2 more perks though since survivors have 16.
the thing i don't like is that the survivor is not bounded to anything while choosing the character when killer is bound with its killer power
What do you want though? Placing traps with nurse or blink with hillbilly LUL. Survivors are just skins at this point.
They are only skins at the point when you max all survs and have all perks on all characters. Till then they are not skins but individual characters with their own perks or are you going to disagree with this?
I will because you need to read the answers in their relation to questions. The person who created this post talked about killers' powers and said that survivors know which power belong to which killer. In response to that I have said that we can not change killers' power like we can't give the nurse the ability to trap or the clown the ability to crouch and strike.
Both sides can not know the perks that are being used in the game. You still can play bill and only have his own perks and do not even use his special perks you know. Even though you don't have all of the perks in the game, as a killer I can't know whether you have got sprint burst in your bill or jake before I see it.

Not quite sure about that since they're already weak.Do you really think in this way? All the hex totems will be removed from the game and you won't be able to destroy ruin anymore. You can only hit great skill checks and good skill checks to counter it.
Overall I liked the changes but I am not sure. This post deserves to get attention a little bit more.

The survivors should be scared of us killers dammit! Or else you should change the genre of the game
I already requested this and I was told that "horror genre" doesnt mean that the survivors are actually supposed to be scared.
I was quite buffled, but guess this game is more about fun/bullying instead of a scary aspect
There are sub genres in Horror games. Most specifically “Action Horror” and “Survival Horror”.
“Action Horror” are games like Resident Evil and such. Where your are supposed to fight back and overpower and triumph over the bad guy.
”Survival Horror” are games like Dead By Daylight. Where you’re NOT supposed to fight back. You are supposed to hide, and use your environment to outwit a Killer. Problem is the way the game is set up right now, the environment allows you to “fight back” against the Killer because the game mechanics of Looping allows Survivors to not have to “outwit” Killers. Just abuse the mechanics to the fullest extent, that the Killer spends so much time fighting those mechanics they make no progress.
The term "survival horror" was first used for the original Japanese release of Resident Evil in 1996, which was influenced by earlier games with a horror theme such as 1989's Sweet Home and 1992's Alone in the Dark.
Dude what are you talking about? Resident evil is the king of survival horror games.
Survival horror games do not mean that you can't fight against your enemy. It means that you need to use your limited amount of resources carefully and survive. If you use all of the ammo in RE series you won't be able to pass some levels because you couldn't manage your resources.
Survival horror is a subgenre of video games inspired by horror fiction that focuses on survival of the character as the game tries to frighten players with either horror graphics or scary ambience. Although combat can be part of the gameplay, the player is made to feel less in control than in typical action games through limited ammunition, health, speed and vision, or through various obstructions of the player's interaction with the game mechanics. The player is also challenged to find items that unlock the path to new areas and solve puzzles to proceed in the game. Games make use of strong horror themes, like dark maze-like environments and unexpected attacks from enemies.
This is from wikipedia btw. Resident evil become much action oriented with re6. They made the right decision with re7 and pulled their franchise back to survival horror.

IMO only nurse and billy are better than she is but bear in mind that the gap between huntress and billy is huge. You will have chances to throw your hatchets and if you miss them with 110 movement speed, you will have hard time playing her.
Pallets and windows are unsafe playing against huntress and there will be a lot of mindgames like survivors will fake window vaults or pallet drops. You have to win these mind games and play the game calmly.
Every killer is viable at every rank. Just because you reached to rank 1 doesn't mean you won't be able to get 4k as freddy. It will just become more difficult. Huntress can easily be played in rank 1.

For claudette
Bond, windows of opportunity, iron will, urban evasion.
For kate
Bond, windows of opportunity, WGLF and self care. I use self care beside bond because i get a lot of hits to get tokens and can't rely on the teammates since I don't use iron will.My other favorite perks are technician, borrowed time and tenacity. I sometimes swap.

It was even harder back then, so most people know by now.I know that it was difficult in the past even more. I think people get me wrong. I didn't say that it was easier in the past. What I have said was that it was less noticeable because there were 2-3 months between releases. I mean you can say since you had hard time, you might not like the change but do you think it would be bad if the newcomers get perks more easily?
600 levels for survivors are just a lot and for kellers it is like 1500 levels.

Guys I feel like getting all of the perks is very difficult for beginners. Some of you have been playing the game from the beginning so you might not understand how difficult it is right now.I stop you right there, you think you have it hard for the perk farm now?
Yes there is more perk now that back then, but back then everything was way more expensive, perk to gain more bloodpoint didn't exist, offering to gain more bloodpoint cost way more that what they could give you and the % of bloodpoint they awarded where lower (and that without compting that party streamer, escape cake and, survivor chilly didn't even exist yet)
Bloodweb where 3 time bigger and you didn't have the luxury of choosing between two perk will you leveled up, nowday what is needed to reach prestige 3 level 50 was what we needed to prestige ONCEBut please tell me how bad you and newcomer have it...
Sorry my bad but If you kept reading I also have said since you endured the grind, it could be unjust. I still think that getting perks for new characters is easy. I had all of the perks for my kate less than 3 days I believe. Yes 3 times bigger bloodwebs and other stuff is hard but you had 2-3 months until the new killer and survivor came. Maybe instead of stopping reading you could read the whole part and tell us how you feel about the perks.
For me it is not that bad because I have almost all of the perks in the game right now. I was going to create this post way back but felt like I was whining so instead I have waited till I got all the perks I needed.

So, if I put a RBT on multiple survivors and they got saved from the hook... I body block the basement so they can't get rid of the RBT and they DC. Bannable?
The devs said it wasn't bannable because death is still escaping. Not different from facecamping the hook.
I think it's dumb, but it's such a rare situation anyway, it hardly matters. As long as you're not sitting there upwards to 50 years to force the survivor to rage quit.
Someone blocked me and I went outside with friends. When I came he was still blocking me LUL
As for the original post, camping and tunneling are more than okay. Play the game in the way you feel most comfortable, don't mind survivors. Also when someone tunnels you, please understand why you are getting tunneled and don't cry after the game. I have learnt why killers tunnel people when I started to play killers.

I feel like killers can at least get a couple of extra perks. Removing survivors' perks is a stupid idea because this game is very boring without perks. Action speed debuff and all other stuff makes the game even more boring. If the killers can get at least a couple of more perks, the game would be more fun for them because they can try new builds.
-
This was one of the best solutions that I have ever heard about hatch standoff. I hope devs see this thread and at least tell us whether they will consider this solution. The times when the next hatch will be open or how much time the killer can see the survivor can be discussed and adjusted.

1) Buff ambush killers (pig, wraith and EW1 Myers) by forcing survivors into first person when repairing gens, searching chests, clensing totems and sabotaging hooks so they cant see the killer coming from a mile away.2) Nerf killer and survivor meta perks and buff the bad perks until there are multiple, viable ways to play and there is perk veriety in all games
3) Rework all Hex perks and remmove totems
First advice is terrible tbh. There is a reason why Wraith does not completely vanish but become somewhat visible in his cloaked mod. If they wanted something like that they wouldn't give these features to the killers. They want survivors to be aware of the environment so they can avoid ambush killers. Also, pig or myers can easily grab people from generators. It is not going to happen.

Im tired of #########.Just play the game and enjoy.I hate toxic survivors and killers too but i am not whining. If you do not want SWF then quit the game.If you do not want to loop, play nurse then.Killer mains saltier than everyoneKiller mains complain about balance issues and blame it on the devs, not survivors generally.
Survivor mains complain about how killers play and how they should play. They have their own made up rules like killers shouldn't tunnel a person because he is injured or they shouldn't camp and all that stuff.
You can say that killers do the same thing to DS or flashlights but there is a huge difference. Killer side should have been the stronger side with many tools, not survivors. Flashlights, DS, bodyblocking create many many balance issues.
Although both sides complain, not always but generally, the killer side point out the balance issues in the game while the survivors side just whine.

Play without need 3 other people and voice chat to carry you.
Then play without any perks and or items and addons. If you're going to need that stuff to carry you to victory then you shouldn't be playing as a killer. The entity would say that to you if it saw your post since you're not supposed to fing care.
I play both solo and swf and some of it's to rank up and other is just to have fun and the whiny spoiled rottenness of killer is astounding right now. I've been doing a lot of solo queue and the moment they see a single tool box and or flashlight they dodge 90% of the time.
When I play killer I could care less, i''ll take you on regardless and sometimes I'll win and sometimes i'll lose but at least I tried and didn't wimp out. It's like playing the killer has now become oh it's a difficult group screw this wimp out. The new changes are a positive and there'll be more to come for both sides.
But if you want to opt out then simply stop playing the game as a killer because it's not going to happen. When 70% of the player base is swf and you opt out then you're going to be in lobby for 30 minutes to an hour if not longer.
The devs aren't going to cave to a vocal small minority of killers that want this and have already stated it many times and constantly spamming the forums with whine threads like this makes all the ones doing it look childish. Instead get constructive and give ideas and break down how those ideas would work. What would your ideas do and what are it's pluses and minuses? How do you improve on those ideas and mitigate any issues?
If you can't do any of those last things then better uninstall now because you're not getting what you want anytime ever. Those are simply how the numbers game work. You can say queue times will go up but the devs will simply do something to attract killers to lobbies like bp events etc.
The game is not meant to be played without addons or perks. However, by not providing in game chat and mic, devs tried to avoid communication. It is a massive disadvantage for killers and people are right to complain about it.
Don't get me wrong. I am a survivor main too and I would try to play SWF if my friends liked this game but I at least acknowledge the massive disadvantage it brings to the killers. You can still play the game and don't tell your friends where the killer is going but I assume that almost none of the SWF groups play in this way.
Why as a killer do I have to endure this? Why when I use BBQ and go to the survivor crouching in the distance, should survivor know that I am coming to his way so he must hide? The disadvantage of voice communication for killers is beyond imagination in this game. You want to have fun? Killers want to have fun as well. If you want to play the game in a way that makes you happy and allows you to have fun then killers have this right as well. They can pick leatherface and facecamp you with their chainsaw and become happy because they spoiled your fun.

1.) Update current maps to make them more bigger while keeping a consistent pallet number. (Every map will have 20 pallets, it won't be randomized on how many pallets you'll get)Reasoning: Bigger maps allows for stealth play for survivors. Additionally can make finding generators, pallets, vaults, totems, chest, lockers, traps, and etc more challenging to find (since the map is bigger, everything will be spaced more apart) which can buy killers more time to sacrifice survivors.
2.) Make killers strike the fear of God into survivors instead of being a laughing stock AKA buff killers or nerf survivors.
Reasoning: Do I need to explain why lol?
3.) Better hook mechanics in general such as replacing the struggle button with skill checks and make the "Attempt Escape" action more consistent during the summoning phase.
Reasoning: I made a post about this but it's really lengthy and no one didn't comment on it. Here's the link if you have 10 minutes to read it all, https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/5584/hook-phases-more-long#latest
First change is terrible to be honest. One of the most problematic aspects of the game is that killers can't cross the map quickly. This is why nurse and hillbilly is kind of meta as well even though it is not the number 1 reason that people prefer them.
Bigger maps won't make traps more dangerous. In which maps is the hag more dangerous? The game. Bigger maps will kill hag and trapper for sure. Hag won't be able to teleport to her traps, trapper will have to walk around the map god knows how many times to pick up his traps and place them.
Finding generators is the easiest part of the game. It won't make a difference I believe.

1-) Map designs are just terrible and they need to be changed. Windows and pallets should be there for a survivor to create an opportunity to hide from the killer, not a way to get to another one, then another one, and then another one. By improving map designs, hide and seek part of the game should be improved.
2-)The hillbilly can cross the map quickly, put pressure on people easily, and if a survivor makes a mistake, he can easily punish him. These features should be other killers' features too. Survivors need to be afraid of the killer. In this current state, survivors are not afraid of the killers except for nurse and hillbilly. Even billy has hard time sometimes. Nurse needs a nerf because she takes survivors only weapon from them.
3-)Games are too quick to even enjoy them. If you don't use ruin or the ruin gets destroyed in 30 seconds, against a competent team, you will lose all the 5 generators in the match under 5 minutes.
Overall, map designs, killers' power, and match duration should be improved. These are my and almost everybody's top 3 priorities.
-
Pallets and windows should be an opportunity for survivors to juke the killers and hide from them, not a tool for survivors to get to another pallet and window and loop the killer for eternity. However, map designs are not good enough for this. The only map that sort of fits this idea is lery's memorial institute.
The problem is that the devs intentionally want us to loop the killers and long chases. Just take a look at the 2 T walls with 2 windows in the coldwind farms and autoheaven. There are no good spots to hide but if you try to loop the killer around those 2 T walls, you will steal at least 30 to 40 seconds. Naturally, survivors will always choose the best option that fits themselves.
Devs should try to rank up and see the real problems in this game. There must be a hide and seek part of the game but at this current state, hiding is not a good strategy for a survivor so most people will not try to use it.

You should also get more BP for being on a hook, as well as double pip if you get fully camped.
And escape points since dying is sort of an escape (even tho it's not)
Fair stuff.I think if they manage to Kobe that should automatically put them on death hook status. It's absolutely ridiculous that they have a chance at getting away, you have to chase their ass back down again, hook them again, and you still have to wait a minute and a half or whatever for them to finally die.
Also, feck Unbreakable. I hate that perk too. The number of times where I've slugged 3, go after the last guy, only for a Kobe or Unbreakable to completely take that away from me is ridiculous.
Why aren't Killers told they have Unbreakable like we're told they have DS? Oh wait, we're only told if ONE guy has DS and not all of them because reasons...
These are some ridiculous ideas dude.
It is %4 to kobe and if you can't do that you will go to the dying state anyway. It is not like op or something. If someone unhooks them it is the same thing anyway.
Unbreakable is not an OP perk once again. It can only be used once and If the killer picks you up straight away you wasted your one perk for nothing. It doesn't need to be changed.
For the third point, you are not told that survivors have unbreakable because it is supposed to be a 'surprise perk' for the killer. If you choose to slug people, it gives survivors the chance to counter it. Btw, it is really easy to counter unbreakable. DS is nothing like that. You can't counter it if there is not a nearby hook or even if you can, he/she will still be able to use it for the second or the third time.

Nah survivors have very good perks they can go with WGLF even in its current state. I only wish that we could get tokens more easily than just unhooking survivors and protect hits. They can buff it so when you pick somebody up on the ground or heal one person equivalent of one health state you can get a token.
