Well maybe not playing the other side but every one should atleast read every killer power and perk before accusing people of hacking

Survivor mains should definetely play both sides at least bit. You get just better understanding how each killer power work and also which way you can counter them. Playing killer helps also improve you looping seeing how good survivors do it. Experienced Killer main however does not neccesary have to play survivor but for beginners I would say play some survivor too so you can see how more experienced killers mindgame and use their powers. It also helps to know where survivors typically spawn.

My bad, yeah killer is playable if you are face camping as bubba whole game, otherwise if you are looking for casual game that lasts longer than 3 minutes then its unplayable

Good survivors will do just gens if you camp so nope basement bubba is not that viable or playable. For me most matches are playable thought as killer but not all matches are fun. Killer is lot more frustating role usually than survivor so that can make it feel like unplayable. Most my matches I get 7-10 hooks so that's enough for me and debending on match and which stragedy I use it's 1-4K.

Dead Hard wasnt that great when the Killer was the host of the match or it wasnt validated by the server, Exhausted on the ground wasnt just a meme, was a reality and it happened around half the times you used the perk to dodge a hit.

Also what Chewy said, the game had worse things.

Killer is still partly a host or at least favoured. If killer has bad connection he can hit very far away survivors. Hitting throughts pallets is also still pretty common too.

I don’t wonder why survivors run those perks at all, they’re viable perks and it’d be kind of silly not to run them. On the other hand, tunneling is just as viable. Making the game a 1v3 is far better than 1v4 in the eyes of a killer.

It is viable if survivor is bad and don't have ds or misses it. But those games I win anyway so I don't have to get one out quickly and well and 4vs1 is lot more fun than 3vs1. I find tunneling just unfair tactic too so I avoid it if I can win more fair way for example slugging. But I don't try to win slug everyone just but enough pressure so they can't work on gens. Those games where I have to play 3vs1 when someone dc early or sacrifice himself on first hook are not that fun survivors usually play more stealth and just try to hide lot more and that is what happens lot of time if you manage tunnel fast. But anyway when I tunnel it's usually good looper agains't me and he can loop long enough that other get gens done before I get to kill him and well the problem is usually that I start to tunnel too late. That makes it pretty unviable tactic for me.

There are times where everyone gets out though. It’s a rarity, but it is possible. Even the best Bubbas bumper from time to time. It’s definitely a risk worth taking if you ask me. There’s NOTHING more infuriating to a camping Bubba than all four survivors getting out.

Usually when I play agains't facecamping bubba's they get 1-2K with noed so it's hard to get everyone out. Sometimes they get 3-4K especially agains't soloQ. Just played match were bubba chased me 3 minutes straight but my teammates only fixed 3 gens. My friend fixed 2 and others only 1 gen. Well bubba gave up on me and got claudette immeditelly after that thought. I went to fix gen then and my friend and other survivor just watched claudette on hook close by I quess. Then bubba knocked the other survivor and I got my gen done and came to revive him. My friend didn't want to take any risk and claudette ended up dying on first hook. I managed to revive the other survivor but bubba came immediatelly on me with the chainsaw. He had the long chainsaw add on so no way to avoid that in open spot. My friend tried flashlight save but did it too early and then bubba carried me on basement I almost wiggled out but nobody didn't try to bodyblock or take a hit so I died on the first hook as well and then he got my friend and he died first hook too. The other survivor managed to barely get out after he did the last gen. Bubba missed like 5 hits on him when he was opening the gate so he was just very lucky. So even bad facecamper bubba can get 3-4K if survivors make mistakes and don't complete their objective (fixing gens) enough fast. I don't remember if everyone has got out agains't one in my games that's probably very rare. I once looped bubba 5 mins and all gens got done and everyone escaped im pretty sure he would facecamp me after that.

BHVR, How can you do this to a Killer... Do you guys even Play Twins, It's the worst experience in the game... I played pre nerfed twins alot and yea I won alot by slugging... but it still felt fair.

I played on Father campble and coulnt get Victor to work there. Deadhard can be punishing af as Survivors can just kick Victor after dodging and for the love of Christ, Why can't Victor injure anyone on slopes???

I couldn't even punish survivors rescuing on the dang hill because Victor isnt damaging the Survivor and a kick to the face is all he gets.

I was even using toy sword and holy crap and it feels so slow charging, it's super frustrating missing a pounce because a Survivor has Resilience and Spine Chill.

I dare anyone on BHVR to play Twins and have fun, because I can't imagine having Fun as Twins when you can't use the Power without losing braincells

I played her once with my friend and I managed to slug everyone was good game and liked controlling victor. It's almosy imposible to dodge victor's hit just give her another try. She is very strong killer in right hands.

Tunneling is getting worse these days, and your basically just screwing over your teammates because you didn’t equip it. Don’t get me wrong, I also wanna swap it out to try other perks because the meta perks are becoming more boring these days, but the Killers want someone quickly out of the game so they have a easier time. So please, just bring it! It’s worth it and you can help your team out many times!

Even if you bring ds you can still miss it and killer can just wait it out. Ds needs buff so more people would use it. It should have easy skill check and stun effect should be longer and survivor should not leave scratch mark after using it. Also the timer is too quick probably 80s would be better and you should be able to heal yourself. That would make it real antitunneling perk. Now it's usually small slow down and agains't good nurse or blight it's nothing.

    - Bear traps don't injure survivors

    - Survivors cannot escape bear traps by themselves

I think It's add on just for farming bp. I use it in my farming matches but well they could change that it would take at least 3 tries to escape but it's grey add on so it's not supposed to be good.

In all honesty, you wasted more. You wasted the time it took for them to find a match, the time for the match to start, the amount of time they’ve already played in the match, the offerings, items and add-ons they may have brought to the match and to top it all off, if they DC, the Bloodpoints they had earned that match. I personally find it MUCH more gratifying when they give up, because there is always potential for a trade off or for them to get off of hook entirely if the other survivors play smart enough, but them taking the easy way out ruins that chance and all the other things I had mentioned. Survivors be goofy.

Well can't be mad if bubba facecamps and if survivors play smart they can trade with him if they use bt so everyone can have decent match then but ofcourse one has to die eventually.

  • @SilentShepherd said:

Every single one. Huntresses, nurses, Trapper, Hag, all of them camping from 1st hook and then tunneling that hooked player if they can.

    Every. Single. Game.

This is one aspect of DBD that needs attention. How a killer can create a downright toxic and horrible experience for a particular player in a match, by camping and tunneling. Intentionally ignoring everyone else, walking around them, to keep tunneling. Even if a teammate stands in front of the killer to try and help, the killer runs around the teammate to keep tunneling. Hooks, then camps again.

This sort of thing needs immediate attention to be fixed.

Did something happen in the past couple weeks I don't know about?

That's lot of tunneling. Personally when I play survivor some killers tunnel and camp maybe like 1 out of 3. Others play pretty fairly and some of them 4K so it's only excuse for killers to not be competive any other way than tunneling and camping. Personally I never tunnel unless I have to or if it's feels only way to get that one kill or if someone makes me mad. I probably tunnel 1 out of 5 matches. Usually I only camp at endgame but if I get 2 survivors in the basement then sometimes I camp before that.

You press Dead Hard, if the Killer didn't hit you within 0.5 sec aka you didn't dodge your hit, you get exhausted and no distance dash.

If you press Dead Hard and killer would otherwise hit you within that 0.5 sec window you will avoid the hit and Dash.

    How about that?

Would make it useless on console and on pc still you would able to dodge hits which actually did hit you.

I don’t normally make rage post about killers usually it’s my teammates (and don’t get me wrong they were not good here either) but this one rubbed me the wrong way. I normally do message the killer and give them a “ggs you were very good” even when I lose and they seem like they appreciate it. They normally respond with, “ggs I hope you have better luck in your next games” and the conversation goes well. I’m playing on my sisters account to get her into iridescent. I’m in a game vs an Oni and he camped, tunneled and hit me on the hook. His excuse was that I tbagged him, even tho I didn’t do anything wrong (idk maybe you disagree).

    https://youtu.be/9xt6SPehejw

I asked the Oni afterwards why he did that.

    1. how do you even know your going up against iri 1s
    2. this wasn’t a swf, I was by myself and the Elodie was by herself I checked postgame. Just sucks when games are like that. Losing a pip when I don’t really get a chance. If I did tbag or flashlight click then yes I deserved it but I don’t do any of that stuff. Also I didn’t know that franklins didn’t have a cooldown that’s on me

Some killers just tunnel they think it's fair. I don't think it's even good tactics to win the game like that oni got only one kill and all gens got done and rest escaped. Agains't good sfw he would gotten 0K as they would saved you from the hook.

  • @Msterflex said:

That most complaints are from people who play only one side. Killers complain about swfs and perks like dead hard and unbreakable but have no idea how frustrating solo que is and survivors complain about tunneling and camping but have no idea how frustrating it is to have three generators go off after spending like twenty seconds chasing one survivor.

All these frustrations are the fault of the games design so stop blaming the other side and tell the devs to fix it

How devs can fix it? Game is balanced that 2 survivors get sacrificed and 2 escape. If gens speed get slowed down that favours killers heavely and tunneling and camping will still be as common and even more worth to do. Well corrupt invertion and deadlock could be basekit for killers and bt/ds for survivors. Other slows down game and other prevents tunneling.

  • @mees said:

It makes no sense to me. Why would you give a survivor a free escape it's not like the killer can find a button somewhere random on the map that gives him a kill. So why would survivors get a free escape, and i know that you can slug to get the 4 kill but thats just annoying and a waste of time. It's also annoying as a survivor when there is 1 gen left and you are being chased and the other survivor just lets you die so he can get hatch instead of doing the last gen. Its also really dumb when de tbeag and click their flashlight when they leave through the hatch even though they did nothing to deserve that. I just think it makes no sense. (and yes i know it doesn't count for mmr).

Hatch used to be better that all 4 survivors could escape throught it with a key. But unfortunately that was removed I think it should been just changed that survivors would have to repair all generators before hatch spawns.

I dislike Nurse as much as the next guy, and wouldn't mind seeing her getting knocked down a few pegs. But what you don't realize is that there are 25 other Killers in the game, and most of them get absolutely crushed by DH.

I'm not a fan of the idea that we should keep this perk in the game to slightly counter 1 Killer (who is already the strongest in the game either way) and let the rest of Killers get absolutely shitted on.

Bottom line is, remove Dead Hard AND nerf Nurse.

Dead hard is only problem on pc on console it's much weaker and can be used only for distance and sometimes that does not even work but if you wait that killer start to hit. You get downed everytime. In pc however you can use it even killer has legit hit you sometimes you can even hear the scream when survivor gets downed. So those hacker dead hards needs to go but other than that it's fine. Other exhaustion perks need buffs so survivors would use them more like it's very easy to hit throught balanced landing and that perk isn't useful in many maps.

  • @Fantasy said:

As you can probably tell from the title I don't find them fun, even less so than before. I like the instant down mechanic after chaining hits but mending is a boring mechanic, made worse by frenzies being available more often now. You can double hit the same survivor and lose minimal distance on them, idk I feel like they're a bit over-tuned.

He is still m1 killer so easy to loop so it's should be fun for survivors. But if you have to mend whole match that ofcourse not fun. He is fun to play and still not most boring to face as survivor.

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

    Legion will get nerfed 100%.

Their kill rate has risen above any other Killer because Survivors keep suiciding against them

No it's survivors own fault do that should not count half decent survivors still beat legion most of time. But it just bad survivors are all together and legion can frenzy them and then he has the advantage to win. Good survivors are spreaded so you maybe get two deep wounds with frenzy at best or they just 360s and you don't even hit no-one.

  • @Krazzik said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940196#Comment_2940196

Eh it depends. Most of the time as long as the survivor isn't a god looper, it's better to tunnel than to spread hooks, even if you know they have BT and DS, that's just how strong turning a 4v1 into a 3v1 is.

The only time tunnelling is the wrong thing to do is if the team unhook at the last possible moment, effeciently do gens -and- the person you're tunnelling is a strong looper, but all those things lining up isn't that common.

If you sweat for 4K yes tunnel but I play for fun and want everyone at least have half decent match. I tunnel sometimes when it's only option left or I have mori but very rarely I still "super tunnel". Usually before I kill someone I still has hooked others usually at least once or someone even twice so it's bit of tunneling but pretty quickly after that I can make it 2vs1.

  • @FrostyEyesSusie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940460#Comment_2940460

Being red rank tells nothing of the skill of the people you go against. If you can spread hooks around without insta losing then you're simply not going against competent survivors who are capable of exploiting all their 6th chances, survivor sided map designs and overabundace of healing sources.

There is a very good reason why you see nothing but Blight and Nurse at the top mmr, and why they all tunnel shamelessly.

Sometimes I have those kind of survivors and im proud if I can win them but that totally different game than normal match. So yeah I don't think killers should tunnel every game and devs should make it more unviable. I don't think it's good for the game health that one survivor gets taken out first few minutes of the match. I see kot of killers tunnel even if survivors they face are bad or just average.

  • @JimbusCrimbus said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940196#Comment_2940196

What a load of crap. People have been running that nonsense since before tunneling was so wide-spread, and they'd be running it regardless because it's all the strongest #########, so why wouldn't they?

On the other hand, tunneling? Camping? Killers often HAVE TO in order to get some decent pressure. Why? BECAUSE of perks like the ones you mentioned.

Survivors will use those perks because tunneling killers don't give survivors any other choise and if someone does not use them killer will take advantage of that every time. Camping is not really putting pressure if survivors are good and just do gens then. Tunneling is only worth it if the survivor is bad and don't have ds so then he is not able to loop killer long enough to others do gens. It's effective stragedy to get that 1K thought.

  • @FrostyEyesSusie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940397#Comment_2940397

That way of thinking is based around the premisse that the killer has enough time to spread hooks around when if fact if survivors are even mildly competent then going for the unhooker instead of the unhookee is a guaranteed method of enjoying the sight of tbagging survivors at the exit gates 3 hooks in. The game is survivor sided to such an extent that a a 3v1 is a balanced match, so excluding one person ASAP is simply the most reliable strategy unless you're the kind to regularly de-rank.

Im red rank 1 and I would probably still not derank even if I would try. I have gone for unhooked but that ends up lot of time him looping me long enough that the time when I finally kill him there is only 1 gen left unless he is not good. But when I go gor unhooker I end up getting much more hooks and usually 3-4K. Eventually yes I make my matches 3vs1 then 2vs1.

  • @Devilishly_Rowdy said:

Asking a killer to not tunnel is like telling a survivor "hey don't do that gen, travel to the other end of the map and do that one. Why do you wanna complete all gens so fast? Let the killer have some fun too"

Isn't it pretty much the same thing?

I think killer objective is to hook survivors as fast as possible when you hook one survirvor you are supposed to chase survivor two and hook him. Well sometimes when killer does not find anyone quick enough ofcourse killer is supposed to go back to the hooked survivor. But then there is also the option to go for unhooker and usually it's better if unhooked has bt protecting him and ds as well. Ofcourse you can wait bt out, slug him then and wait ds out (which is not effient). Well he can even have unbreakable... It's usually just better go after the unhooker but ideal would be down them both. But quickly tunneling someone out is not even fun for me and then when I watch the end screen and he gets what 3000 bp so did I really play well? Feels almost like cheating.

  • @jesterkind said:

This idea comes up every once in a while, and I'm not convinced it'd help people out as much as they think it would?

SWF have the capacity to be a really tough, sweaty match, but they also have the capacity to be a bunch of people barely trying because they're hanging out in voice, or a bunch of overly-cocky, extremely altruistic flashlight types gifting you a free win. On the flipside, too, a competent and skilled group of solos should be feared almost as much as a decent SWF, because the survivor role doesn't require you to be on voice to be a noteworthy looper or to know the right times to go for a save, and so on.

All seeing SWF in the lobby would achieve is a bunch of people dodging lobbies that they might not have had any reason to, and that's not a good thing.

When I play with my 3 man sfw we don't always use mics to communicate usually first few matches we just play. We still win lot of times those matches but there is more some mistakes like bringing killer to gen which someone repairs and someone getting on second hook state in first hook but well that still happens sometimes when we communicate...

  • @dugman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940196#Comment_2940196

Nobody even agrees on what tunneling means let alone whether it’s good or bad strategy. For instance, some people call downing a person who was already injured and ignoring a healthy survivor “tunneling”, but obviously downing the injured person is way better than injuring the blocker. Likewise if someone just got unhooked, and you have a chance to down them and rehook them versus downing and hooking someone else, all things being equal it’s better to rehook the survivor who’s already been hooked once. But that too is called “tunneling” by a bunch of people.

If your sole definition of “tunneling” is chasing someone too long then, yes, that’s bad strategy. Knowing when to break off a chase and switch targets is important. But a lot of people use tunneling to cover all sorts of other things that are only loosely related to downing people multiple times in a row or chasing someone after you hit them, etc.

Well unhooked survivor may have ds so trying to hook him immediatelly might be even bad option to do so just slugging is better and I do that sometimes but usually survivors use bt. And I always try to hit unhooker before he unhooks if im in that kind of situation so it's worth to chase him sometimes and I end up downing them both and hooking them. But when unhooked use bt to protect unhooker from getting hit im gonna tunnel that's fair then. But still it's situational sometimes I still go for unhooker.

  • @OpenX said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940196#Comment_2940196

Pftt as if you should ever care what survivors think. You don't play killer to make friends unless you are a cringe huntress main 69.

And tunneling someone out right off the bat is the best strategy there is in DBD btw. The best tunneling perks that have ever existed in DBD, Deadlock + No Way Out, are in the meta right now. Both allow you to sacrifice tons of generators to secure kills.

Even as a baby killer I always considered 3 gens for 1 kill a good trade, because it's so easy to snowball in the 3v1

Well I quess I just try to play more "right way." You can do what you want I tunnel sometimes but like it does not make me feel good and well if you play survivor do you like to get tunneled? And still I always usually chase someone else when survivor get unhooked so why would I go back to tunnel him/her.

  • @xBlitzAce1989x said:

Tunneling is just a different word for chasing. Seriously, let's break this down... The Killer's job is to chase, down, hook, and kill survivors. The survivor's job is to do gens and escape.

If a Killer/ Attacker is chasing you in real life, what are you going to do? Turn around, wag your finger and say, "Hey! Quit tunneling me, you trash Killer!" Really... be sure to detail how that goes for you.

Killers chase, it's what they do. Personally, I don't target any Survivor for any reason other than being in my line of sight at the time. Maybe I noticed that you don't have any speed perks, making you an easier target. Maybe I noticed that you don't have a flashlight (or vice versa). If you're playing the game, you are a viable target and free-game.

And then you wonder why everyone use borrowed time, dead hard, desicive strike and unbreakable. Tunneling is actually bad tactics if others just do gens and are free from pressure. Tunneling is only really viable if you do it fast and others don't work on gens and come to help. Personally I don't tunnel but I can hook sometimes someone twice in a row but im not that cruel to kill them immediatelly after that thought. Better stragedy is to tunnel 2 survivors same time but it's harder to pull off.

  • @DBDVulture said:

Many killer perks can be removed from the game; as an example corrupt goes away after 2 minutes. Hexes can be game changing but also can be found and removed.

By design survivors are supposed to have stronger perks - this is a paraphrased quote from Mat Cote in 2016. But when you consider SWF on top of this it just feels like a losing balance to want to play killer. In the case of a SWF you are playing against 12 perks with 4 perks. Let's not even mention the information they get for free in a SWF that could be worth 4-12 perks worth of information.

It would greatly help to balance SWF if killers got 6 perks. This would help all the low tier killers tremendously. This would likely make Nurse/Blight too strong (nerf their kits slightly and some of their broken addons).

It would likely make most people playing DBD much happier.

Only if survivors get 5th perk as well and I still doubt killers should not have more than 5 perks. Like noed would become way too common with 6 perks.

Usually I just play more fair as killer but after everyone is on second hook. I do bit of farming or just end the match. Sometimes I just only farm but it debends on what the survivors do. As survivor I usually just sacrifice myself on first hook if killer just plays like it's normal game and there is no chance winning.

  • @Valik said:

IMO Thanataphobia needs to be reworked for this exact reason.

I hate how it gives a sizeable debuff for injured teamamtes (ok) but then it's completely useless when they die? Isn't this supposed to be the perk about being afraid of DYING? And yet the closer survivors come to death, the less actually afraid of it they are.

It should probably be a perk that slows down survivors action speeds depending on the severity of teammate's conditions. Like - Injured teammates confer a 3% debuff, Dying confers a 6% debuff, Hooked confers a 9% debuff, Dead confers a permanent 12% debuff.

At that rate, instead of gaining maximum value for 4 injured teammates, the greatest value is when survivors are at their worst. 1 dead survivor and another on the hook as the other 2 are injured? Fear of Death. 27% speed debuff.

But this also means that getting everyone injured with the Legion or Plague isn't an automatic 1/5 speed slowdown. Instead of 20% for everyone injured, it's only 12% - 15% when you 5th hit and put someone into the Dying state and 18% while they're hanging and everyone else is spread out.

Legion isn't the problem, it's that Thantaphobia is a little wonky.

5% slowdown per injury is nice, but not super strong. Punishing a killer for getting kills is a bit strange and kinda goes against the theme. Might as well get two birds with one stone.

So you want encourage tunneling? I think survivors should be slower repairing gens when there is everyone alive and that excactly what thanatobia does.

  • @SensualPotato said:

Yep. What the title says. If you need 3 or more slowdown perks to passively win you games, you're not good at Killer. And that's fine! It's fine to want more chill games and not have to get flustered and stressed out because gen speeds are too fast. But don't act like you're amazing at Killer by BM'ing and being a jerk in chat afterwards when you're clearly relying on multiple crutches to do even partially decent. It's like camping a corner of a doorway in a competitive multiplayer FPS and thinking you're somehow a god at the game.

Same goes for all of these Survivors who can't play a single match without their Circle of Healing, Dead Hard, and Brand New Parts.

TL;DR - Play however you want, but don't be a jerkoff when you know you're relying heavily on meta perks to even manage to do well. Don't BM the Killer in an exit gate, and don't shake your head and slap a Survivor on hook when your perks are literally passively winning you games.

I bit agree like it's really annoying see killers with pain resonance, dead man switch, hex ruin and PGTW or corrupt invertion. I only use one of those as killer

If they buffer survivors and then told the killer to stop making mistakes I don’t think it’d sit well, everyone has a good reason to complain and most likely if a lot of people are complaining then there must be an issue.

Ive seen countless survivors dc as soon as they see legion and complain, it gets old very fast but it’s probably due to bad killer rotation as well, constantly facing the same killer gets boring and I imagine most killers want to play as him.

I feel like some of the complaints are valid but it’s hard to tell this early on due to how many people are playing as him, it might just be exaggerated

That survivors own fault dc:ing. Legion is fine now and would you like to rather play agains't nurse or blight? Legion is still only m1 killer when he does not use his power so he can be looped. Well and survivors don't need buff other than they should not be punished if killer has high ping and can hit miles away.

Let me start off by saying that if its end game and face camping is a last resort its not annoying. And tunneling if you are good at looping wont matter I like being tunneled but, I ran a test yesterday and today and out of 20 games I was tunneled out 8 games(all gens got done but the killers mmr still goes up after tunneling me out and face camping) and face camped on 1st hook till death 9 games only 3 out of 20 games where normal loops gens and chase games is there something I'm missing bhvr needs to address this I've seen it all over the forums too and its making people quit in droves. 2200 hours of survivor and 30 min as killer since last January and I play maybe once a week now was playing 10 hours a day. If this doesn't get addressed I think I'm going to just full out quit the game and so are a lot of survivor mains makes matches boring as hell.

Well do you make killer somehow mad cause that is lot of tunneling. I don't personally usually get tunneled as survivor but sometimes it happens. Im not like super good looper so idk maybe killer just gets mad when you are too good? Some killers facecamp good survivors because they looped them too long (Killers ego got hurt).

wiggling, in my opinion, is a mechanic that exists from preventing carrieng a surv around like a bag, not for you to use it as a second chance. its already kinda abused with library and BO. If there must something to be done -- adding more hooks, not moving them further.

Was that joke? Hooks are already so close so you don't like want to even carry survivor? So yeah she is right that they should be bit more far away that survivors would have even small chance to wiggle off. Library has been fixed and there is hook now so that argument does not work also.

Press M2 and follow the auras and there's nothing the survivors can do.

Slipt up so then he does not have enough time to get everyone.

Uhhh what? Legion moved up a slot maybe two on tier lists. Almost everything was pure QoL updates.

I say he is A tier if you can get downs with frenzy. I whiped the floor with one team a way I could never do as any other killer he is strong if used right. It was my easiest match probably ever were I hooked everyone twice before killing anyone and the survivors were not even newbies.

isn't dead hard really good cause it can be used for distance?

That's not usually possible and it's used more to avoid hit. And lot of time when you use it for distance killer hits you anyway. You still usually need killer to swing. I play both sides I know and dead hard is million times worser on console than on pc. If I wait killer ever to start hit I will lay on the floor death and if I manage to quess when he is gonna hit and I dead hard same time as he hit im dead again. But when I play agains't pc players it's 3rd health state. I hit them but they then still dead hard. I had very ridicious match were someone was close to window I hit him but he dead harded and I didn't get hit and he then vaulted window and extended chase. To make it clear he didn't get any distance using it but dead hard made him immortal for few secs.

It is no secret that Nurse is balanced on a pin's tip.

Her power circumvents the conventions of the game, making many killer perks useless to bring on her - and many survivor perks useless to bring against her.

She's extremely punishing to learn, and there's a fine line between those who can end a survivor team quickly and those who must 'git gud' and improve on their Nurse skills. Likewise, survivors that have grown comfortable with the conventions of the game can often find themselves in the middle of a rude awakening as they struggle to contend with this extremely unique killer.

She really does not need a rework, she's in a very strange place as-is.

But here's a question I'd love to see some answers to:

What direction should she go in if she had to move?

Does she need to stay focused on being straightforward and punishing to play for newer players?

Does she need to be slightly less as deadly in the hands of a master and slightly more approachable?

Should she start the match super weak and become a snowball machine (Oni, Meyers, etc.) ?

Or should she start off strong and fall off as the match progresses (Legion, Ghostface, etc.) ?

Should she become louder and far easier to spot?

    Should she become stealthy?

Or should the only changes be considered be animation and modeling updates?

    Why or why not?

I'd love to hear what the community feels about our favorite RN of the fog!

There are many different opinion on this killer, and I want to hear them all.

Making her weak line oni at beginning could work but then should she has instadown then when she gets her blinks... That would at least change that she would have to run loops as m1 killer first but how she would get her power? stalking or collecting something? But for real I think she is pretty fine maybe her add ons need some nerf idk.

  • @RenRen said:

I always thought that exhaustion should have some sort of penalty but as dead hard and debatably sprint burst are the only ones that are a problem, I'd say it's fair to make it a limited usage thing instead.

And those are only problem on pc not in console so only survivors playing on pc should get dh nerfed. I don't think sb as problem cause it requires skill than just pressing a button. On console when you try to dead hard you will get downed if you don't use it earlier than killer is starting his lunge. But on pc you will not get downed even if killer hit you before you use it. You can use it even when killer already hit you which is just ridicious. So you see it's pretty bad on console and you can only use it for distance but on pc it just overpowered

I´ve been reading discussions about perks and a lot of people seem to hate Rancor. So I want to know: How do you feel about Rancor, And are you a survivor or killer main.

It's free mori why wouldn't I like it? And it even gives nice information too. There is no counter other than obsession hiding but I make always sure as killer im close to obsession when last gen pops. Thought there is actually one counter I used rancor couple days ago and it didn't instadown survivor so that is that's the best counter it does not work. But my best match ever with rancor was that I pretended to be baby killer and used oni's perk nemesis with it and managed to kill 3 survivors. I don't consider myself like big survivor main but that side is usually more fun cause you can play with friends and looping is fun too. I hope they add two killer mode in dbd cause killer sometimes is bit lonely and sressful. But mostly im dbd main.

Head-on is simply very abusable by survivors and specifically SWF's.

I truly believe it wasn't attended to be used in the way survivors are using it, it was meant as a last-ditch effort to extend a chase with a killer, survivor runs into a locker and stuns the killer.

Sadly, there are people who think it fun to have a friend run them to the front of the locker and then boom, you get head-on by a survivor that there is no way to know they're there.

Today, I was playing my first matches with Pig, I got Badham Preschool IV in the 3rd match, a rough map for most killers but especially Pig. I get a hook pretty quickly with a nice mind game and then gen pops, all of a sudden alerts are popping constantly at the house. I know from past experience I can't ignore it as they just constantly do it, so I go up to look.

It's the 2 rooms with the pallet and the lockers there, nothing I can do but go past the lockers, I assume they are still in the locker and then boom, head-on. I'm like OK, I go to chase after them but to my surprise, the other 2 survivors are in lockers as well and all have head-on.

Of course, I'm going chase after the survivor and there is no way I would think all 3 survivors be in the locker when 4th survivor is on a hook. I also didn't think anyone would be so childish and do this, I had people before running me into a locker where their friend is but never had it to this extreme before.

This is why Head-On should be disabled and redesigned in a way it can't be abused by childish players.

I suggest changing it to "Lock-In", it's similar to Lucky Break that it works for a specific duration but a survivor can jump into a locker, and that locker can not be opened by the killer or another survivor until it runs out, once it runs out, the perk is disabled for rest of match. The killer can wait it out or at least some of it but survivors can waste more of the killer's time with it, could come in clutch in the end game but it's not abusable like Head-On is.

Something like that happened to me when I was still baby killer and survivors just continued stunning me with head on and worst part was I never catched them. It was mostly 2 survivors doing it and other 2 doing gens and sometimes stunning me but I eventually got those but the other ones who stunned me whole game escaped.

  • Usually toolboxes I like to sabo or fix gens bit faster. I also use lot of flaslight it's fun to blind killer. Medkits I use less cause Coh but still frequently.

  • @Seraphor said:

So chases take 10 minutes... fun.

It's literally impossible to catch survivors as Nurse without using her power, and she's 4.2m/s. That's why her speed and power are wgat they are. Do you propose giving every killer a teleport to make up for this?

Nurse is 3.8m/s I believe but with add on is possible to increase it to 4.2m/s speed. I think blight maybe should be nerfed to 4.5m/s instead 4.6m/s his power is already so strong and makes him very fast so I don't think he should be as fast as m1 killers. Spirit however should be buffed to 4.5m/s she is currently too slow with 4.4m/s at least when I play her

  • @xBlitzAce1989x said:

I whole-heartedly enjoy playing on both sides. The problem I'm noticing (mostly on the survivor side) is that some of them really don't play Killer and therefore don't understand why Killers do certain things. I was the same way until I started spending more time as a Killer. I've been pretty bored lately so I started camping more and more... and some Survivors are cool with it, others... not so much. If someone throws enough salt my way, I'll just direct them to the, "I'm a Happy Camper" song from Sleepaway Camp 2.

Does anyone have a similar experience and now understand something previously unknown to them?

I don't understand camping either it's toxic and killers who don't know how to play do it eventhough I play killer equally as much as survivor. For real I understand but I personally avoid it as much possible but if survivors hide and you don't find them even with BBQ so then any killer with common sense would go back to the hooked survivor. Also in endgame collapse what else killer is suppose to do other than camp. But camping ofcourse is still mean and some killers just don't do it and take the L instead.

    Like,

once he fills his power, gets a hook and uses it he can just:

Run around fast, have instadown, big lunge, curve around walls while sliding on them as if they are made of butter, destroy pallets with it,

and unless the survivors instantly heal, the map is just filled with red orbs for him..

The thing is don't give him his power try to delay it as much as possible by pre dropping pallets and just playing very safely and alsl Coh should help in healing quickly.

I personally don't have a problem with Oni. Might also be because it's really rare for me to see any.

If facecamping Bubba is doing it to get kills than, yes, teabagging is worse. If it's just to collect salt then it's on the same level but camping to acheive something in the game is much better than just trying to bother someone. If you teabag you have no right to complain about facecampers because you're just as bad and possibly worse.

Like I said camping is much more worse takes someone ability to play at all I don't feel bad for teabagging or clicking at the killers face because usually he deserves that. But when I camp and tunnel as killer I feel bad so it's much worser for either side but sometimes you gotta do those to get 4K.
