Killers get a bunch of perks to slow down the survivors' objectives. How about a perk for survivors, where if they rescue a survivor they can perform an action to have an extra hook stage before dying to slowdown the killers' objective?
Or is slowing down the game just exclusive to killers?
(that's how balance works, right?)
I think perk which you would be able to give hook state for other survivor would be good. But maybe it should also injure you so that killer would probably even change target.

Nurse, clown and huntress. I don't like to play agains't them unless the huntress is bad.

I feel the same. Even with the Killers im good with i get this anxiety.
For me its the fear of being humiliated by the other Side. When i play Survivor and the Killer is toxic i can just kill myself and go onto the next Game.
But as Killer you have to push through it. No matter how many Pallets are smacked on your head. Or how many Flashlights are clicked. How many Deadhards take your hit and how many Butt dances you have to endure.
Even going afk isnt the solution as Survivors can just not do the gens and keep bm'ing you.
I just wanna have fun. Not get bullied by someone else.
I hope Bot Matches give BP aswell. So i can just play that instead of having to face bullying for trying to have fun as Killer.
Bully squads are annoying but it's always funny to destroy them. I don't really care if I get pallet stunned it happens and lot of times I manage get hit throught them. Agains't full flashlight squad I usually equip lightborn or franklin demise. Well survivors usually realise im not that kind of killer they can bully but it's usually too late at that point and it can end in slugfest for them.

Do any of you know that feeling, a certain kind of fear, anxiety and nervousness when you think about playing Killer?
I have a problem with that and would like to know your feelings.
I play both sides. I play solo survivor. When I play solo survivor I always have a big desire to play killer because solo survivor sucks.
The difference is: when I start the game to play survivor I'm calm. While I know I'll be upset and frustrated playing solo survivor, I'm still calm when I start the game and I'm also not scared or nervous when the match starts.
But when I really want to play Killer, most of the time I can't even launch the game, because I feel so uncomfortable with the thought of playing killer, that I rather play another game. Or when I DO launch the game, I sit in front of the main menu, stare at the screen for minutes.... and switch back to survivor.
I have new killers that I haven't played once since I bought them because I just can't bring myself to play them.
And even with killers I've owned longer, and even had success with, I can't bring myself to play them again. I haven't played Killer in weeks and it bothers me so much because I really want to play Killer instead of solo survivor.
Why do I feel this way? Why can't I even play killers that I'm actually good with? Why am I suddenly so scared and uncomfortable?
I feel like the longer I own DBD the worse this fear of playing killer gets. It wasn't like that at the beginning and I don't understand what's going on with me.
I know there probably aren't any psychologists in this forum, but maybe there are other players who know this strange feeling and can tell me what they did to overcome it.
I would also like to say that it's not about winning for me. For me it´s all about having fun and earn BP. I would be totally fine with not killing anyone if I had some good chases, hooks and a decent amount of BP at the end.
So it's definitely not the fear of losing.
It is something different. And I have no idea what it is.
Probably have to wait for bots , so I can play killer again without anxiety, lol
Sometimes I have that kind of feeling but it's usually when I try killer which im not that good at using. I always get bit nervous playing nurse but once I get first down it goes away. But sometimes I bit stress even I play my mains and even im pretty good killer I 3-4K most my games and do well.
What I would say just go out there and play if you don't care about kills you should be fine as killer you still usually get more bp than survivors even if they all escape.

I get tbagged and abuse in end chat just about every game, why are Survivors so angry at Killers?
Do you tunnel and camp? If you do then don't expect them to be happy about it. Those are dirty tactics from survivors perspective and sometimes totally unneccesary to use.

Nemesis has one of the best anti-loops ever. He is eating pallets like breakfast. If you are infected, pallets and vaults are not safe anymore. 3rd health state is annoying, i know but he is alright.
Only 2 heath state if you use fist but the testacle is very good antiloop so it would be overpowered if 2 hits would be enough.

Had this match against a nurse, she played very well, got 2 hooks on all of us, downed us pretty fast, didn't camp and tunnel, but still all gens got done fast af cuz our team was efficient on gens (that's all that's needed for survivors to win). So as soon as the exits were opened she knew that she had lost despite doing so well, so she just stood in a corner waiting for us to end her suffering and just leave. However, the other 3 survivors just kept clicking at her while she stood in the corner, refusing to leave. They were doing that to a killer that played "fair". Killers are such a joke in dbd, i genuinely feel sad for people who play this role, but i also respect them. Congrats devs, you've managed to make this a horror game FOR the killer.
I don't feel bad for killers they hard tunnel/slug and camp so much that I have no sympathy for them as survivor. That nurse mistake was obviously play too fairly he got 8 hooks in that game and could probably still get 2K if she would tried. She probably just let you go. If I ever feel bad for killer is when they bring cake and they don't get much points and they played fairly.
But so many killers just bleed out you on the ground and close the hatch front of you so you should not feel bad for them. I don't have really words to say about how terrible some killers are they only purpose is to make others suffers as much as possible. These killers just take all my sympathy away and survivor is just miserable to play without 4 man sfw.
I have good times as killer personally if survivors are toxic to me I destroy them but still I have my limits as I have some empathy I don't close hatch front of someone and if I accidentally do I give them exit gate nobody deserves that. I think im bigger person than those bully survivors. But im not there to play fairly either I adapt my playstyle to make sure I win.

Ghostface should be S tier on this list they usually always hard tunnel and camp.

I mean when dh for distance is in almost every chase causing at least 2 minutes to be added, to the games total time... nothing you can really do to play better as its literally enough time for the 3 other survivors to do a gen.
Other exhaustion perks also add time to chase so should all exhaustion perk just be removed then.

Swamps are much worser in my opinion and should all be deleted. I hate them as killer or survivor and want to dc if I get in those maps.

It's the worst map to play in as a killer there is 0 outplay potential survivors can just run and drop pallets and you can never catch them and it has no unsafe loops and tons of god pallets.. gives survivors enough time to do gens while you play break the pallet simulator.. What's sad that years of complains but it never got any solutions.
It's very good map for nurse and it's not too bad for other killers once you have broken good pallets from there. But it favour survivors more but I have had good games there as killer.

This guy should not face survivors are like us.
When I first played killer I got bully squads after like 2 hours playing. They only purpose was to just do flashlight saves I think I managed to kill them eventually I don't remember exact details. I also got head on squad soon after that and was stunned with it over and over again I got two of them eventually but other ones who stunned me the most escaped. This game can be pretty miserable for baby killers. Luckily I also got practise with my friends in custom games.

So i'm a killer main who switched to survivor main, but recently i've been trying to get back to playing killer. But whenever i try getting back to killer, i get atleast 3 dead hards every game, my downs and outplays at loops are denied by the single press of a button and i get frustrated and quit playing killer again. Then i tell myself that i'm never playing killer again until they nerf this broken perk that single handedly destroys the entire killer roster. Hell i'm ready to give up a perk slot, i'll play with just 3 perks, but just get rid of this "press E to outplay" perk. They need to kill switch this perk right now, not wait for a year to nerf it. It's ridiculous and unfair.
It's not that bad play some stronger killer than pig that's why you struggle. I tried sadako and suddenly 4K became actually hard. I switch lot between killers I play but my main is oni and almost always 3-4K. So my experiences usually as killer are better than my experiences as survivor in soloQ. My experience as killer is also better than in my sfw but that is closer as I survive more then.
As survivors it's bad experience to die which happens to me probably at least 2/3 or 3/4 of games so it's just sucks and I try to play for rifts so I don't get too frustated thought. Killer can actually be more frustating at times even when you do well but I don't care as long I get that 3-4K. But sometimes I get only 1-2K which sucks and that probably is for me 1 out of 5 games. Probably 1 out of 50 games all survivors escape if I actually tried.
Auto dead hard is what sucks for me most have to say but to pull that off survivor actually needs skill I think dh invulnerability needs to removed then it's less op but survivors really need still the perk otherwise nurse and blight would 4K every game so if those killers get removed maybe dh can be nerfed more than that.

" Killer failed his main objective which is kill survivors before gens are done"
No, the killer's objective is to kill survivors before they can escape the trial. It's not over until the fat lady sings.
I can see your point but it's rare killer winning after gens get done if all survivors are alive. So I think it's fair if survivors has key to escape throught hatch. I end majority of my games anyway before gens get done so that why I see gens getting done failure as killer.
Survivors would have to find anyway the hatch first so killer would just wait and do nothing? They would probably still go open exit so killer would still has chanse to win and survivors would probably throw some game finding hatch at the end.
-
@KateMain86 said:
The hatch change was catastrophic for survivors. When I read about the change, I couldn't believe it. So many things changed when this happened. Incredible key plays (that were entirely conditional) and keys which had great value in many situations all of a sudden no longer could be used the same. Some of my most exciting matches were hatch plays before the change. I still don't understand why they felt it needed to be changed this much, to only potentially benefit the last survivor. My keys have basically turned into dust collectors. I think I've used less than 5 keys since this change and they were only used for addon testing to see if I could find a reason to use them again. Now I avoid them in the blood web if I can. I really miss the old hatch.
I heard and idea hatch should spawn after all gens are done so survivors could escape fromt it with a keay instead from exit gates and it would be well deserved then. Killer failed his main objective which is kill survivors before gens are done. Some killers ofcourse with endgame build would complain about that but they could just dodge lobbies if they see keys and I think it could be changed you don't get key from chests.

@ad19970 said:
Nope not really. I think these slowdown perks giving killers a fair chance to win is a better argument here. That's more accurate.
Gens can be repaired very fast, if the survivor team is good and coordinated. As simple as that. Slowdown perks give the killer more time to have a chance to complete their objective and win. It surely doesn't carry the killer, with maybe Blight and Nurse being the exception.
Gens going very fast is one of the reasons why some killers camp and tunnel, it's the easiest way to deal with the problem, it doesn't take nearly as much effort.
I am hopeful that we will see some real changes to the meta with the perk update. But I definitely hope very much that we'll see some form of slowdown added to the basekit. Killers need this because of how fast gens go. So I wouldn't expect that killers will have less slowdown when the patch drops, at least I hope so. Killers need time to have a chance to win as well. I hope it gets more consistent, so killers will always have a fair amount of time without games potentially going by at snails pace.
I also hope that we get baseline nerfs and counters to camping and tunneling, because those are the killer strategies that need to be discouraged far more, not the fair and skillful strategies. Incentivising the killers to play fairer and more skillful, and decentivising the killer to play with these unfun strategies is the way to go with DBD.
But only 2 dead hards so I would say killer outclassed survivor perks or at least tied bringing all the strongest perks from killer side. It all debends how well they are used and on luck as well. Killer can bait dh and then it does not extend chase or then dh can be 3rd health state if used right. Scourge hook and pop can make the gen go from 90 to 0. Or killer does not make it to scourge hook and gen gets done. Also ruin can be found at beginning or never.
-
@Crowman said:
There's no reason to do this, because there are other scourge hooks besides PR that exist.
Your issue of PR + Pop being combined is a skill issue. Any killer who is able to both PR and Pop gens constantly through the match where they outpace gens getting done would have won without those perks anyways.
Not really those perks really slow down gen progress and that's why people use them. Gen which goes from 95 to 0 can be game changing. I use pr and I can tell I have won some games with it. If you can end chases enough quickly you can outpace gens.

Whenever I know Im against a Leatherface I just asume he is going to facecamp or at least hard proxy camp because thats what most Leatherfaces have been doing since the masks got removed, I dont even try to go for the unhook unless I have a visual confirmation this one isnt camping, if he does leave hook Im usually pleasently surprised.
I just stay on my gen until it finishes and rush towards the next one, no totems, no chests, no saves, no heals, nothing but genrush, odds are whoever gets downed is going to get facecamped and mindlessly rushing gens is the only way to at least have a chance of getting out. Another thing a lot of people seem to do against him is not greeding a single pallet, throwing anything they find and just trying to stay away from him as much as they can because we know if we get downed odds are we are going to get facecamped with no chance of a rescue so its better to waste pallets trying to stall him as much as you humanely can until the inevitable down and facecamp, luckily you bought enough time for the rest of the team to fix the remaining gens before you croak so at least he only gets 1 kill.
Dont blame me, this is just an adaptation I developed against Leatherface after many MANY games against facecamping strats.
Well that stragedy can actually make bubba facecamp even if he didn't plan to. Gen rushing is the thing which makes killer most angry and it can change fair killer to be camping/tunneling killer. But it's ofcourse killer fault to not apply pressure on gens and not ending chases sooner. I have seen less facecamping bubbas recently usually they move to way now to go for chases. Huntresses camp way more I would say.

@RockyCrayon6625 said:
I been trying to get Bubba adept since I gotten 2 done lately, but so far I'm lucky if I can even get a hit on a survivor at least once. Survivors seem to move ridiculously fast and fix gens too frequently, too.
I don't know if high MMR is just screwing me over, OR people just toggle cheats as soon as they see "The Cannibal" when loading in and think I'm going to just be another facecamping insidious bubba in the basement. It's getting to the point I don't want to play him because I lose rank more than gain.
Anyone else been having this issue, or just me?
Just continue trying and some places it's not possible to use chainsaw so hit them with m1 they can be surpriced by that. If you get swf it's very hard but agains't more average survivors it's possible. Try to get 9 hooks and everyone sacrificed I would say tunneling one out is probably good stragedy but it can backfire if others suicide so ideally try get some hooks before finishing first kill.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/325468/why-are-so-many-killers-facecamping-at-5-gens
You are seeing this in the wrong perspective. Camping a survivor at 5 gens is potentially far more rewarding than doing so at 1 or 2 gens.
The objective of this is to remove a survivor from the game. The sooner this happens, the better the chances for the killer to take control of the entire match, leading to a more relaxed and enjoyable experience for the rest of the match.
5 gens camping is prime strategy, admittedly, at the expense of a degradation of the survivor experience, but ultimately everyone seeks their own enjoyment in a game and never have I seen a survivor group that is like "hey, we already 99d the last Gen and the killer is at 1 hook, let's stop for a while so the killer can have fun too".
Personally I don't camp much, because I don't find it enjoyable, but don't miss understand the reason behind killers that do so at 5 gens. They are being efficient.
You can have pretty easy relaxing game at 4vs1 if you dominate so facecamping at that point is unnessary for the win as the killer was already winning basically unless big miracle was going to happen. If you want even more easy game making it 3vs1 even tunneling is better experience for survivors than taking someones ability to play at all.
I get bored quickly personally if I tunnel someone out or when someone suicides on hook as the game is not then any challenging so it's too easy. But occasionally I do basement bubba and that can give you 3-4K even when all gens are already fixed but if I dominate the game totally from start I usually stop camping and go for chases. I don't think basement bubba is toxic it suit his role and he does not go usually for grap so you can save the survivor with bt.

@Sally_S_gay_son said:
I do not want to meme around in either case
4king fast or ''genrushing'' (just made a thread calling this the dumbest complaint in the game) happens when one side is much better at the game than another
Close dbd matches are the best, and it simply depends on both sides, meaning everyone has to try to constantly outplay the other side, Killer knowing who to chase and which gens to patrol, survivors knowing where to be at what time, when to unhook, when not, which gens to pressure and etc and then since both sides have the same knowledge it will be a close call, I mean sure you can call this mindset sweaty but all my fondest dbd memories is when I was either playing against a good team and I was playing well as well or when I had an amazing team against a great killer and it mostly ends up in 2k-3k but it was close and tense, like a true slasher movie which is what this game is supposed to be like
Killer still usually has more control in these situations if he is decent. If survivors gen rush, playing dirty as possible is the answer camp/slug/tunnel. But when survivors are really weaker. You don't have to slug them hard or tunnel one out. You can try to hook everyone twice before killing so then it's not total blowout well some games still even are after that.

I'm not one for camping at 5 gens simply because I don't find it a strong tactic, save for one scenario:
The super fast survivor down. If I get that first down extremely fast and the survivor I have on hook just screams weak link than I do not have any incentive to move. Where will I go? I could go chase some survivor off a 5% gen, and if they're any good I will lose pressure while someone else makes the save.
Screw that noise, I have your friend. Come save him or lose the game in the inevitable 3v1 2-gen scenario, I'll be waiting.
Im not sure what your saying but while killer facecamp 3 gens get usually done. Then one will go for save and others go work for the last gens and by the time killer gets that 1 kill all gens will be done.
Well if I get that fast down I usually put him on scourge hook: pain resonance and go for the gen which explodes to chase another survivor. If that does not work out I go back to the hook if he is still there and try to down the one who will go for safe.

I can tell from roughly two years of experience of playing like that (roughly 100hours, yeah i know but i only play casually) that the majority won't care or show it and that the grateful are nearly as rare as the toxic ones. If i had to put numbers on it, 85% say/show nothing or GG (and the latter often only in case where 8 or even 4hooks/bbq stacks weren't achievable aka stomps), 10% are explicitly thank-/grateful and 5% think they won just by skill and are explicitly toxic.
Tbagging and/or flashlight spamming are done by roughly 40-50% on average.
Pity kill offerings and the like still are in the single digits unlike hatches given.
So i still miss to see incentives to play like this at the given balance and behaviour from survivors, outside having the personality for it.
Well I play on xbox but usually I get gg from survivors when I play fair way and some even when I kill them send me gg and fun chase. But when I tunnel/camp I can get some not nice messages but that is deserved. Seems pc players are more toxic I quess.

Chicken-egg problem, but not really.
Survivors have to do gens (and interact with the killer, do saves, ... if they want more points) and killers have to kill.
In the vast majority of games, survivors are slamming the gens, usually two or three in parallel (because nobody has the ubiquity perk). Players handle that differently.
I usually switch to a hard tunnel (which makes the match even more fun when the survivors finally decide to do something about it). Some will camp, and I could too with some killers (no, not only Bubba). Some will proxy-camp and punish the speed by ensuring another hook state. All these counters are perfectly valid.
Doing it when no generator has popped yet seems a bit sad. Maybe these players have so often been in that situation they don't wait for the pops anymore. Still, it's a perfectly valid move.
It's perfectly fine to do if you know the survivors are good and they seem like they will slam gens but if they are not on gens. Killer can also play it more fair way. I always adapt my playstyle debending on which kind of survivors I have agains't and how well I just play myself. If 3 gens pop which is very rare for me I hard tunnel and camp. But hard tunneling and facecamping at 5 gens like you said is just sad but if it's bubba can't be mad.

Its the killers job to kill the survivors. As the name "killer" says. This is one strategy to do that. Why should he walk around the map when the survivors are coming to him in this szenario? Against a solo queue, its a bad strategy, against a SWF, who want to save everyone, its the easiest way to get at least am 1K or maybe 2K. And dont forgot: maybe they are doing a quest from the archive.
Well killer could use BBQ see where survivors are or pain resonance and pop goes to weasel so put some pressure on others. Most killers still leave hooks and win that way. I thikk that is the way killer is intended to play. Never I said killer should not kill survivors but if you dominate the game you can play it bit nicer. You know survivors are not bots there are people playing them.

It isn't but as a killer that played intentionally horrible aka immediately leaving hooks for the other side of the map (fast unhook or not), ignored freshly unhooked survivor (even when they run into my face), slugged no one except on deathhook and only started intentionally killing after 8hooks, i can tell you that it isn't met with grateful or even nice survivor behaviour.
In most cases they just lose all respect and start bming the living hell out of you.
And in the outlier cases they thank you for it or go to straight up toxicity in end game chat.
So i see no real incentive to play like that except for being generally a nice person like i would say about myself. And even then the negative or missing feedback (not that i would be inclined to any good feedback) makes it feel less rewarding/satisfying to play like that.
I bit disagree some survivors all like that but I think most respect that when killers play more fairly. Trying to hook everyone twice is very noble but obviously you lose games that way.

It's generally a really bad strategy to hard camp and tunnel with the existence of BT and DS, but the second you realize that a particular survivor doesn't have those perks... goodbye JoJo lmao
Yup like those games I tunnel I lose more often than those when I don't but it's because I tunnel the best looper with ds and others are then free from pressure. You have to be smart with it and tunnel the weakest but also apply pressure on others and hook them too while the one who are you going to tunnel is on hook.

I must admit I have noticed that the tunnelling has gone up a notch lately. I was in one game where we managed to complete all gens while the killer tunnelled one survivor the entire match, a few of us even tried to get in the way so he could have a rest but he was having none of it
That survivor probably looped him too long and made him mad so he only wanted him/her.

Okay, judging from your comment answers THIS particular game it was camping at 5 gens.
But have you seen the hefty amount of games where it gets from 5 gens to 2 in seconds? If they killer didn't preemptively created some king of pressure they are now way on the back foot here and have to sweat and stress themselves even more than normally.
If not more than half of all games would immediately go from 5 to 2 gens then i would say less people feel stressed to create preemptive early pressure.
If course there is the group if killer player that will do it either way and this has led to both sides going immediately ball to the walls tryhard to get the pressure advantage.
Maybe the guy in your game had the exact situation in their last trial that 3 gens got done at or before first down? I don't know and frankly and don't care anymore.
Could be if killers would play more fairly probably survivors would not rush the gens as much. But when you completely have the game under control I don't think facecamping is really needed.

That's their fault what I mean there is no-one around but you stay facecamping on the hook at 5 gens. Huntress is good for normal camping when you quard the gens and when someone tries save hitting them with hatchet is good stragedy but I don't think it's needed at 5 gens unless they are very coordinated sfw.

@duygu said:
since the early game is extremely disadvantageous for the killer and against an efficient swf, the actual match starts at 2-1 gen remaining for most of the killer roster, good killers may immediately search for a 3-4 gen spot and direct their attention there. even more effective if their hex is within that zone.
so let's say the killer hooked a survivor in that area, they may start proxy camping even if there's 5 gens left to do. it's because they do not want any gen done inside that setup otherwise it's nullified (even just one generator on the other side of the map of 2 generators close to each other is a very bad situation for any killer), and naturally expect 2-3 gens done very shortly afterwards.
with a hooked survivor in that 3-4 gen setup, and maybe a hex totem, it's nigh undefeatable against a good killer, if you are not a swf with meta perks. chances are those loops are already exhausted and the killer can see each generator while also camping near the hooked survivor, so anyone who tries to rescue will either trade hooks or get downed in vain, and anyone who tries to do a generator will get hit by a hatchet or something of that sort. it's possibly the best game strategy for killer side if the RNG factors make it happen.
He got lot of downs early game then he just decided to facecamp one of them. That is very early advantage for killer. So this game started while 5 gens left so did he feel he is that bad he can't win it if he does not facecamp? After he got the kill then he started to more like really proxy camping so I quess so.

Why are you fine if Bubba does it but not other killers?
Bubba is designed for facecamping insta down which can even beat borrowed time with him it's definetely best stragedy if survivors try to do saves. I was AFK pretty long time playing him and then I got survivor when there was only 1 gen left and just facecamped him because what else I was supposed to do at that point. Survivors where greedy for save and I hooked everyone twice and got one sacrifice I could probably try to slug them all but I wanted to 100% quarantee one kill. I got nice message from one: not one person on this world loves you, awful killer uninstall. This should be said for killers who facecamp at 5 gens and are not bubba.

A killer using a strategy to win the game is now a sore loser? It sounds more like you are the sore loser since you are getting upset over how your opponent chose to win.
Best strategy for killers is to lock down an area and force an early death. proxy camping first hooked survivor in a defensible spot is simply good strategy.
Sounds like your one if you need to really facecamp at 5 gens. It's bad stragedy agains't any decent survivors but my team was full of potatoes so it worked for him. I probably said but the guy didn't move even 5m from that corner and if everyone would slam gens would been easy win but I was doing rift challenge so didn't care to. I never facecamp at 5 gens I chase survivors and get the win right way facecamping at 5 gens is for those who suck at really playing the game. Just asked question why are some killers like this? I would never do that im not enough toxic to do that I quess outside playing bubba who is designed for it.

There is no such thing as "Proxy Facecamping" You have have Proxy Camping (which I think you are describing) where the killer sets up a patrol around a hooked survivor. Facecamping is when the killer doesn't move an inch after hooking and won't let anyone unhook without a grab or hit.
He tried to get the grap when survivors tried to save the one on hook. So maybe his playstyle was something mixed between camping and facecamping then. He was standing still at times and then doing bit patrol.

Proxy Facecamping. That is an oxymoron.
Idk how to say it like they don't stand there looking at the survivor (normal facecamping) but move a bit and make sure no-one can save the hooked survivor but they don't move even 5m away from the hook so I wouldn't say it even camping.

I've said this many times but if you fantasize about your opponent purposefully trying to ruin your fun then you'll only upset yourself every time.
What you list is just gameplay, it may be gameplay that upsets you but that's a you issue not a game issue.
If survivors bring cakes and you dominate the game you don't have to be toxic. You can play it fairly so they can get some points too as they gave you lot of free bp.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. I have had to HEAVY slug to extract points out of the survivors. It is harder than trying to 4k them. Lol.
Heavy slugs barely gives bp even when all escape you get more. Just terrible tactics if you want bp. Tunneling and camping works usually well thought.

It's not worth a perk being disgustingly gamebreaking against 25/27 killers because it's a "must" against the other two. You know how we see less sweaty Nurses and Blights everywhere? By making the rest of the cast less miserable to play.
That's why nurse and blight needs nerfs so then dead hard can be nerfed as well.

Huh.
As far as I know, a DC gives credit for a single hook state. But I could easily be wrong.
One of them was hooked once and he dc:t while on hook. Other just dc:t after that I got 40 dc points thought.

At what grade though?
At Iri (or even Gold) you aren't getting this with an early DC.
I think I had it at red ranks or at least gold rank. Believe me or not I would get it if I would finished the last guy as well.

I'm glad you got it. Yeah, I've pulled the zig zag pathing to let the unhook happen so that I could get my last few hooks. When I do adept for killers I've done this to guarantee those 9 hooks. It's really sad when killers get rewarded by mmr system when they tunnel at 5 gens because a lot of the times they get away with it. I will say though that being hard tunneled but successfully escaping the match is the best feeling in the world. I had a nemi who tried to hard tunnel me out of the game, and he just eventually dropped chase with me because he lost 4 gens already (Red Forest Mother's Dwelling, decent main building helped me and some spicy jukes). A zarina somehow got hit with NOED and then he proceeded to take his anger out on her by hitting her on hook until she died. DBD be like that sometimes.
Yup but sometimes even when you loop the killer very long and he gets you. Then he kills the rest of the team at the end with noed... This game sometimes rewards poor playing so much. But it always fun if you whole team gets away from killers like that then ofcourse I teabag to them at exit gate which is deserved.

Because he is not range killer. Except Hag, all 110% killers have range powers.
Personally Billy's mobility is better for me.
Why spirit is then 110% when she is already much weaker killer? and if you happen to miss one phase walking... Spirit needs buff to 115% and blight nerf to 110%.

It's a very annoying medal to max, as it depends more on the survivors not being schmucks than you.
Essentially - if anyone rage DCs, suicides or hangs on the hook for more than 1 state, you're not getting this at higher grades. It's generally the medal I have the most trouble maxing out.
Dc:ing actually gives points towards it so it's still possible to get just debends when they dc. I had match were 2 dc:t pretty early and I farmed with the last 2 and killed the other at the end and let other one escape. After match turned out I was very close getting iri devout.

Yeah, I certainly have my games where I play a little more ruthless like securing a second stage or if I have to proxy camp because the gens are too far to defend. I don't blame you for getting salty from time to time, it's sometimes very hard to keep your cool when other players ruin your experience by just going overkill or doing unnecessary things. As long as you're not slapping someone on hook or hard tunneling at 5 gens, then don't feel like you're being too "toxic."
And yeah, if your style is more dominate the early game and get instant pressure that pulls them off gens, then I can see how getting iri gatekeeper might be easier. I usually either play for the snowball or just the mid-late game pressure. My endgames are sometimes where I secure a 4k. Most of my killers that I play are ones that need set up or I just don't mind losing a gen early.
Good luck with iri devout. My best tip is to count each time you hook and get out of there. I've been screwed over because of bad survivors who don't rescue their teammate and then I lose a hook stage because they either go to second or die on hook. It's literally the worst when you just need one or two more hooks but they let them die instead of rescuing.
Ruthless wins your games and if survivors don't save the hooked guy soon enough I go back to the hook make sure he gets second hook. But usually im able to find survivor to chase so it's usually not problem. Sometimes they don't even save hooked guy when you are other side of the map.
But usually I never manage to be as toxic killer as some of those who I play agains't as survivor. It's just too cruel to be loser like them. Agains't swf you gotta be little cruel thought but I never tunnel at 5 gens. Usually when I take first out there is 2 gens left. When I do super tunnel it's usually the team's best looper who manages to make me mad. It's probably most stupid thing to do as killer but sometimes it even works.
I finally got the iri devout as well. It was lot of work to get in one of the mathes I actually had to let second last survivor to wiggle out and save the one on the hook. Poor survivor thought I was going to farm with them. Well at least it's not as cruel as some killers who close hatch on survivor face or let them open the exit gate but hit them immediatelly and mori them or hook.

Being startled isn´t the same as the reactions the streamers had. Some were even running away.
If you search dbd sadako jump scare on yt. You get the weirdest reactions.
They're probably fake but first time when she did it agains't me I had no idea she could do that and I almost got heart attack. Since then im bit scared to play her. But when I do I turn my volume off and just put quickly ready to avoid it.

Ok i picked this killer yesterday for a test drive, and as i was choosing things to buy on the bloodweb i had the onryo teleporting and giving me a freaking terrible jumpscare, i spilled my coffee on the table, i get scared extremely easily and this killer is creepy AF and gives me shivers, now i have a problem i want to play it but im afraid of having that jumpscare.. i know sounds stupid for some but for me its a problem, i always stay only about 15 seconds in it and then i get back to main menu and select it again, to prevent the jumpscare.. please give us a way to not have it
I agree, hopefully they change it. Because that's why I never can update her and just has to avoid playing her. I don't know why she even does that to us when we are the one playing her.
