I apply this on a different level, as I treat other the way they treat me (in videogames), never has a survivor shown me a drop of mercy, why should I be playing in a different field?

Sometimes survivors show some mercy but ofcourse bully squad don't. But do you think survivors should just surrender and give you free kills? That can happen sometimes but after all killer is the power role so I wouldn't expect survivors to just give the win to the killer. Play some survivor and see how killers treat you that's what I mean. Killer can control how the match will go. Killer can tunnel one out, facecamp or proxy camp or just go for chases or farm. What is you want to experience I prefer the chaser one and he does not have to go for 8 hooks that actually bullshit lot of times you have to take one out at some point if you want to win 3-4K and that's perfectly ok. Sometimes even bit of camping is needed.

Disclaimer: Killers can play the way they want, If they enjoy slugging its ok. Im not saying you can't do it, It is your game you paid for it. This is just suggestion nothing against you or against your favorite role.

BHVR Just add an option to hold M2 while on dying state to make bleeding faster. Like from (4 min) to (1 min) or something.

With that. Change any challenge or achievement that require killers to 4k. Should be only 3 or below.

Survivors already have an option to kill themselfs on hook (which only take 2 min maximum). But if being slugged it takes 4 min and nothing you can do about it.

I would be fine with ability to heal yourself if killers leaves you more than 2 mins in the ground

Every survivor wants to go hard to survive.

Why shouldn't i go hard and kill them.

Not everyone cares for bp. I've got nothing i want to p3 so why bother? why be nice?

Well let's just say treat others like you want yourself to be treated.

I know. Smaller maps with less god loops will help so much. Dead Hard should go as well. Those changes will make most of killers viable. And we can buff other weak killers, like Trapper for example.

Oni also needs buff he should start with blood fury so you can get quick down and have blood orbs all the time to collect. Pre dropping pallets and coh hurt him so he is too weak now. Nurse has her power at start so there is no reason why oni can't as well.

I guess its sometimes hard to judge from the survivors perspective. I go for 8 hooks and don't try to sacrifice anyone, unless they are super obnoxious. When I got someone on deathhook and chase them, but don't down them, just breathing down their neck, they wisen up, but before that its "panic! The killer is going all in! Ahhhhhh!!1".

I had a situation were I downed two survivors in front of one of the gates, put them both on their second hook ... and then the others just left ^^ Felt bad, but what ya gonna do? With all the sweat going on this event you can hardly blame them, especially if they wanted to save their invites.

Damn you make me bit feel im evil killer I play for 3K and let last one escape usually. I try to play fair as is possible while I can still win. Few matches I let 2 escape but usually I want to pip.

5 hits out of a locker just happened naturally over the course of 2 games. If you're not, you're not playing Dredge properly. 15 seconds is a long time.

Vaulting is usually where you get hit anyway

Run Iron Will for a couple of games. (I've recently done both the 60s and the '60s as David in a single game', it's not that hard)

The community challenge is ridiculous though.

I did the community challenge as survivor but as killer you should just farm if you want to get it ever done.

Tbh, even if you personally don't use said flan, atleast one other random person most likely will. So saving them is not that stupid.

It's still is as you would get even more bp. I think if you use flan you usually get 2 flans back from it so if there is only 3 flans you gets 6 flans but if there is 4 you get 8 flans in bloodweb. So it's still not smart.

I love our boy. He is simple and easy to understand. However, that also means he is in need of some TLC and QOL changes.

I know they have done this before but he still doesn’t stack up to other killers. Let’s talk about his perks first.

Brutal Strength: 20% increased break speed.

Agitation: Movement speed is increased by 10% while transferring bodies and terror radius is increased by 16 meters

Unnerving Presence: 15% skill check chance while in the killers Terror Radius and success zones decreased by 75%

Compared to more modern perks these are just laughable and almost feel like universal perks. This is how I would change them.

Brutal Strength would be increased to 30%/40%/50%. Making him harder to flashlight but also allowing him to open the breakable doors with ease.

Agitation needs a whole overhaul and I believe I know what to do. If we change it to a Scourge Hook perk with this type of effect it could be a huge boon to him: “Four scourge hooks will spawn throughout the map, If a survivor is put on a scourge hook you gain a token. For each token your movement speed while carrying a survivor is increased by. 3%/4%/5%. Caps at 3. Upon getting three tokens you gain the ability to completely reset the next generator you hit. All tokens shall be used and you’ll have 0”

Unnerving Presence is actually a decent perk, but I feel like it can get a little buff by making the 15% just be automatically 100% with a 60/45/30 second cooldown.

Now his add-one are great, but I feel like he needs a passive or a secondary ability. I’m not fully sure on what however. Without making him over powered.

    What do you guys think?

Agitation is very decent perk nobody will wiggle off and you can carry survivors to basement from distance. It also allows you to do hits which you would not normally get while carrying. Other trapper perks are trash but agitation is very good and needs zero changes other than even faster movement speed would be fine now it allows 16% increase. Without this perk basement trapper or bubba would have much harder times. Brutal streng is only good for farming. Unnerving presence does absolutly nothing.

That just toxic doing it agains't innocent survivors if he really would want send message she should done that agains't them who wronged her. But I think it would just be better end the cycle.

  • @InvadeGames said:

I will preface this by saying maybe in your part of the world players play differently but I am in NA and this is my experience as someone who plays both sides.

This forum constantly whines about camping and tunneling and i have seen time and time again what people claim is tunneling and camping. And your not being either.

vast majority of killers dont face camp. Not at mid to high mmr. if your being facecamped your probably a bad survivor and dealing with new killers. I get a face camper 1 out 50 something matches. And thats usually when a killer was ran around all game and you can tell they are frustrated.

proxy camping is not camping and is a 100% good and viable strategy.

I have often been accused of camping when i hook someone literally travel to check 1 or 2 gens and patrol back to hook, then go away do the same until the unhook. I time this in such a way that I can add pressure to a solid portion of the map and time that when the save happens i can end up close by or at least on the way. This is SMART gameplay. there are 2 people not on hooks with at least 1 injured, that i can get a trade on, or get the unhooked right back down and possibly pressure a second or third person right off hook.

or sure i can let every unhook be safe and have them heal up and start all over again. Im going to make the strategically sound decision, not handicap myself for no good reason.

Yet I have been accused of camping many many times for literally leaving the hook and often getting a hit on someone else.

Your not being tunneled. a killer's making an intelligent decision and going for someone who is injured near you in many cases a good idea. Not always but often it is.

Often times survivors make bad decisions or just end up popping up in front of me as im moving across the map. you think im not gonna go for you? lol

Tunneling is when EVERYONE else is ignored the whole game till the killer gets you out. this is RARE. (again speaking from someone who plays in NA)

Tunneling does NOT exist when 3 gens have been done. when there are 2 gens done the killer needs to get outs.(and 3 gens are often done in the first few mins depending on a few variables)

You wanna complain that it sucks getting taken out in the first 5 mins of the game. sure i get that, but almost 50% of games are over in 7 mins or less. Time is not on the killers side if half decent survivors know how to juggle gens and run tiles. This game has waaaaay too many safe tiles to run. 30 seconds to run a surv down off a loop is up to 30 seconds gens are worked on.

Its very common that by the time you get 1 surv down especially if they know how to run, that 1-2 gens get done in that first hook. The killer now has only 3 gens left and 11 hooks to go assuming survivors want their 12 hook match. Your wanting the killer to play like an idiot and play in and inefficient and tactically inferior way?

every may has at least 1 double L tile(frankly they are unmindgamable with any m1 killer without a mistake being made and im of the opinion the "L" part on one or both sides needs to be removed to stop that being an infinite, every map has at least one infinite window or double window vault and the majority of pallet loops are big and a time waste to mind game, there should be less safe loops and more 50/50 to unsafe pallets and shack, which is a huge waste of time for many killers.

decent survs should be able to pull at least 30-45 seconds off every chase and they often can get 60 seconds plus if a map gives them chained tiles and a pallet every 6 feet. This doesnt include the time to take to hook which could be a 2 second trip or a 15 second trip and then your travel time to a new generator/surv.

Whether you like it or not the reality of this game is that there is no luxury of time to just have a nice fun chase, if i had time to do a 2-3 minutes chase ona surv, i would love it. Mind games and loops are great enjoyment, but when your in a chase you have to end it as fast as you possibly can because up to 3 other gens are being crushed out while your traverse the infinites and 10 pallets. This doesnt include the huge amount of second chance perks used, whicha re strong enough that many of them have close to 50-100% use rates on a team. All of which extends things even farther.

When 2 or less gens are left there is no camping or tunneling, it makes zero sense. When 2 or less gens are left you in most cases NEED to have SOMEONE out the game or you have a much higher chance of losing, and it is not uncommon to have 2 gens left and only 3-4 hooks out or less.

You get mad if your sacrificed in the first 5 mins but you sure dont mind ending the game in 5 mins so what exactly is the difference here?

Finally, since most players choose one of like 8 different survivors and commonly use the same skins many many games have 2-4 identical characters. Sorry im not gonna try and work out which of the 3 bills i just hooked, nor am i going to see a bill i just hooked and ignore him so i can go find someone else when i need to take the bill i just hooked out anyways.

There is actual camping and actual tunneling and i am 100% confident that 95% of these complaints arent either of those.

and please please please, instead of trying to overthrow 4chan for which community is the most toxic and vile can both sides actually talk and listen to each others issues instead of acting like real life enemies?

Survivors NEED killers and killers NEED survivors or there is no game. we can discuss the issues we have and come to mutual agreements and solutions without treating each other like garbage.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Sounds like camping to me proxy camp is still camping but it's viable stragedy but that does not change what it is. If you go after unhooked and hook him again you are tunneling. But example what is not camping is you leave the hook go to gen and start chasing survivor but if that survivor then goes to unhook survivor on hook and you down them that's not camping or if survivor is saved right after you hook him and then you go after them that's not camping or tunneling.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

No. Because camping is more viable most of the time. Because Dead Hard is often making chases last longer than 60 seconds :/

Well I think the legion was stupid. He had two guys on death hook so it's not smart to camp. I would go chase them and make the game 2vs1. But maybe he was bad at chases so still remained camping but survivors could finished all gens in meantime and get 3 man escape. Camping only works if survivors are stupid.

  • @spodamayn said:

People hoard them because the toxicity during anniversary events is at an all time high. It's usually the time when there's the most camping and tunneling and people don't want to reward that if they're tunneled out of the game in the first couple of mins into the match. They'd rather wait to use offerings when people have calmed down a bit after the event

Gotta give credit to killer tunneling so fast I almost always end up chasing someone I tunnel 3-5 gens. So I don't know why killers think is so good stragedy with other stragedies I win but tunneling is almost always L. Tunneling is only good stragedy for nurse and blight probably or other killers if there is no ds ans bt in a play.

Most Killers arent able to pressure all gens at once especially if they are M1 Killers or just don't run any insta-down perks in general.

There are perks to help stop it corrupt, pain resonance, deathman switch, pop and deadlock for example.

  • yes, but usually because killer didn't apply enough pressure. But sometimes survivors have toolboxes and just rush gens and don't heal then killer will have harder time even applying that pressure first so that's the real gen rush.

  • @InvadeGames said:

You should pick up a copy of the survivor rulebook.

I would complain about it if I brought a cake and got nothing out of it and well it's usually survivors fault but some killers play for slugging and it's unfun playstyle. Personally I avoid slugging everyone as killer cause I want bp and if I slug everyone at start im not gonna get much. But when there is like 1-2 gen left or endgame if I have chance I slug everyone.

Sorry but I think that's on the survivor misplaying, a walking nurse is not a danger, in fact the opposite.

And yet, she's one of the least picked killers with the lowest killrates. Evidently she's not as easy as you think because no one outside of already high MMR killers probably play her. A company like BHVR uses statistics a lot, and my guess is their statistics say that at the highest level, where Nurse is deadliest, the kill/escape rates are probably fairly even, because only really good survivors/SWF would be playing those kinds of Nurse's, and she's not as strong as you think against good survivors.

See, a lot of people aren't interested in learning to play against Nurse, or run into a good Nurse to learn how to. It's always funny when a terrible survivor thinks every Nurse they run into is god tier when the reality is they're just bad, and predictable, and would've lost against any killer.

I have been seeing everyone use this weird notion that "Everything in the game would be better/changed if Nurse didn't exist" as a means to justify the state of the game. No Nurse? Oh, better map design, better perk design, better killer design, better everything design. How delusional some people really are to say stuff like that and get people on their side because of their hate for a killer, and how they could be so ignorant is beyond me

Game would be better without nurse everything has to be balanced around her. If some perk is made too strong she will became op for example stratruck. She has best power in the game and she does not have to do anything to earn it. Oni has second best but he is very limited on how he can use it and has to earn it. If nurse is fine in game like this I quess oni should start with his power and would still be weaker than nurse. But it at least would make him viable.

  • @Zozzy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2998341#Comment_2998341

no... no buffs. Survivors already do gens way to quickly when they double up. Buffing on death would also punish good killers because well.. survivors are eventually going to die, and by that time there should only be one or two gens left.

Tunnelers should be punished but I think I said this could punish too much killers who play fairly so that should not happen.

  • @Akumakaji said:

What would be the alternatives? Taking all decisions anx interactivity away and just make ot a timer? That's even more boring either way, and the occasional missed skill check during the struggle phase can be fun.

Giving no penalty for self ubhooking tries? Yeah cool, then everyone equips slippery meat and get 6 free chances without repercussions.

On the contrary, killers have no easy way out should they face a bully squad, that they either got to suck it up, eat the 5min DC penalty, deal with it, or sulk in a corner till it's over.

I still think that a catch up mechanic would be healthy for the game. Nowadays most often one side it totally dominating and snowballing on its success, but what if you got a speed buff or short aurareadings or plus genrepair and healing speed buffs if the ratio of hooks to gen progression is too unfavorable for your side?

I kniw that people don't like it, because "they get punished for being good", but right now you see so many people giving up when things go south and I can't blame either side.

Well those buff should be very small ones so like if survivors are being stomped at 5-4 gens so then suddenly they can repair all gens very fast and heal would not be fine. Also if killer plays fairly hooking everyone twice this could punish him a lot as he has 8 hooks but no kills. Whereas tunneler has only 3 hooks but a kill already at that point.

  • @DyingWish92 said:

All survivors are alive. A gen takes somewhere between 100-120 seconds to complete solo. Increased from the 80.

Now listen. For each survivor that dies to the entity survivors get a big speed increase on the gens. Somewhere between 35-50% perhaps.

What this does is allow the killer to go for multiple chases in the beginning of the game without losing 3 gens in the first chase. It punishes the killer hard for tunneling someone out of the game to as the 3 survivors left get a big speed increase on the gens. It also allows the survivors to still have a chance when it's a 3 v 1. It gets rid of lots of landslide/stomp potential on both sides.

Of course I'm not 100% sure on the numbers of the speed buff and debuff at the gens but something like this would be great I feel. Getting a 4 man escape would probably be very difficult but not impossibe.

Something like this would be implemented with the perk reworks. So gen slow down perks reworked so the killer can't make it like a literal eternity to finish a gen because they brought pop, pain res, Ruin and so forth. We assume those perks will be reworked.

Gen speed is a big problem, tunneling is a big problem. Do something that helps with both in one base game change. I understand lots of people don't like the idea of making gens take longer something has to be done about it. To many games end in 5-7 minutes because the killer has a first chase that lasts a little to long.

No gen speed slow down they are already so slow so who want's to fix gen 120s? Survivors should have secondary objectives like finding part for gen and killer could also try to stop that preventing gen from being completed. Artist perks which block all gens should be buffed and be 2 time use.

    ^ this.

For some reason people think that Nurse being difficult to learn is a justification for her being broken. However, IMO the difficulty is hugely exaggerated, she is the hardest Killer to learn, but it is not that difficult.

But yeah, the Devs being scared is probably the reason why Nurse is that one broken thing from the past which is allowed to exist.

She is not hardest you need few matches to bit undertand blinking once you learn that it's not that hard. Pinhead is much harder killer for example it's very hard to control his chains. Only thing with nurse is bit hard is to quess what survivors going to do but once you played enough you will quess that most of the time. Nurse needs major nerf she has best power in the game. Oni's power is second best but he has to earn it is that fair nurse to get best power in the game right at the start.

Map Offerings should be removed i will always quit when some1 Drops a Offering 4 a Map like the Game or other that are very unfun or Survivor Sided

Game is not that bad map I have lost 3 matches a row there as survivor even I did personally well. Finishing gens and looping killer but it all debends how your teammates do. The reasoning is that if someone is unhooked during EGC and has DS, it’s basically a guaranteed escape even if they’re downed. If you pick them up, they hit DS and escape. If you don’t pick them up, they either crawl out or are healed. Killers basically have no options.

To use survivor mains’ favorite complaint: “there’s no counterplay.”

Killer has already messed up pretty badly if it goes to that so basically ds deactivating would give killer second chance and well there is already noed, no way out, blood warden and rancor for that which is enough.

As for nightfall, not only should you be paying attention to your environment anyway but you literally get a warning when it's about to happen so if you're in a bad spot when it happens that's on you

I mean if he enjoys winning there is no reason to play another game. Also if the wraith tunnels a good looper then there was most likely time to get all 5 totems done. Solo Q issue not noed issue.

I quess I have bad luck but whenever I tunnel someone right at the start I almost always lose. But when not I win most of the time. So tunneling is just miserable experience for me not enjoyable. It's always goes same way all the others rush gens fast and I have to eat ds and bt. With noed I have been able to win some of these matches at the end. Most effective way for me is to tunnel 2 survivors at the same time that wins always if it works out. But like all these tactics makes the game lot more stressful so normally just play and go for chases. Facecamping bubba ofcourse is pretty relaxing.

  • @Brimp said:

Well given that wraith is still a b tier killer at minimum with minimal map pressure.... makes sense why they would tunnel.

Wraith can move pretty fast and no it does not make sense to tunnel and facecamp every match and at that point it just better play some other game. Ofcourse if he enjoys it that is different thing but I don't know who really enjoys tunneling. If the tunneled one is good looper it's just miserable experience all gens getting done. Well with noed it's possible snowball at the end. If survivors save without bt and no ds then tunneling only works.

well wes thats whats wrong, you have to predrop and lets be real you can predrop ecery pallet in the game, but that does NOT win you games. any killer who is smart will leave you after a few good pallets and then bam someone else wont predrop and finds out the hard way that antiloop killers can be pretty dang good at well antiloop and then when people get coralled to the place where the pallets are now gone they easily die speeding up the process for the killer. pre drop works against oni and dumb killers only. but as for why i dont like anti loop killers... i hate gens and i hate healing. i only like looping killers, so when they leave me it sucks because my friends i play with or the randoms typically die within seconds. but i mean they arent all that bad, pyramid head isnt so bad because there are tricks to dodging his ability, the only reason he has ever and still is annoying is that he can cancel his m2 for an instant attack. artist isnt that bad... i dont think, ive never gone against a good one tbh. dredge isnt so bad because you can run to another loop, its just when you have too much space between loops where its bad. you see what i mean? its not like theyre horrible its just some facets are annoying and some are fun, the main annoying thing is the same type of killers being released back to back, kinda like its annoying getting 3 legions in a row because of rift

Pre dropping works if other survivors rush the gens. After that there is still windows to use for other survivors in looping long enough so that all gens can be finished. But if survivors fail to do gens quickly then killer will win and end chases in the end quickly. But map like game there is 100 pallets so that will take a while.

Because nurse's power is mobility + downside (fatigue) and not mobility + instadown + literally no downside???

Oni can be looped even in his power but nurse can't so there would be downside. Good nurse downs you in 10s so oni would still not be anywhere close to that power.

  • @Ayamir said:

That would instantly make Kazan S tier, his biggest weakness is that he starts as a basic M1 killer with no power at all which makes him the worst killer in the early game, survivors will predrop pallets and play safe because they know that if he get a hit early into the game he can snowball so fast.

Blood Fury is arguably the second strongest power in the game next to Nurse's Spencer Last breath.

Oni is A tier beceause he can't always use his power and he needs to work for it,but once you have Blood Fury ready he becomes a slugging machine and good Onis will literally down 3 survivors in few seconds.

Lethal Pursuer + Monitor and Abuse + Infectious Fright and double durations add-ons would be the best combo for him to end games fast and get huge pressure in the early game he might be better than Blight if what you suggested goes live or they make it an Iridescent add-on.

He would be the second best killer in the game next to Nurse,Oni is already a viable killer he's a 4k machine in Comp DBD even if survivors predrop he's gonna get that hit sooner or later.

Watch swish's recent tournament Oni was one of the best killers in that tournament all games were 4k or 3k now imagine if he had his power at the start of the game.

If nurse can have her power at start why oni can't they can change that is not as long and they could change that survivors would not spawn together so then at least oni would probably get only one down with it or two in best case scenario. But it would mean oni would get his power lot sooner back as those survivors would be then injured when they are rescued. Artist is ranked better killer than oni that needs to change and oni should S tier we need more killers than just blight and nurse who are strong. Oni is most fun to play agains't of these two and more fair.

Once a killer commits to breaking the pallet, there is no defence and it's a cheap blind when a survivor does this. Bad enough killers got to navigate the maps with many pallets and so much else for survivors to use, we have to just stand there and take a blind which requires no skill on the survivor's part.

also, there are toxic survivors who will double-blind you or even try to triple-blind you, it's crazy that a killer can't do anything. We could use light born or other perks, but that takes up a perk slot and we badly need to use that slot for something that can slow survivors down on gens.

You can obviously detect when the killer commits to breaking the pallet as the animation breaking pallet starts, so once that triggers, just prevent the killer from being able to be blinded. Quite frankly, if the survivor is good enough and most are, they can make it to next tile in the time it takes the killer to break the pallet, so it's not really a big deal if you do this but it would really help killers out as its one of the things survivors deliberately do to annoy you.

While doing this, remove the ability to double-blind the killer as well, as there really should be no ability for survivors to do this.

It's not toxic to blind killer when he break's a pallet. Like it's not toxic to hit survivors as killer when he vault's window or pallet.

    How about no?

I had a pretty great team on Suffocation Pit as Nemesis where they did nearly 3 gens because of one bad chase.

Still 4K'd before the gens were done. Most matches are perfectly winnable. Are they frustrating? Yep. Fun? Not really. But winnable? Absolutely.

DH is an issue. The Devs have already said they are looking at it and, presumably, it will be nerfed.

    Patience.

This is true there is always way to win every match but is it going to be fun? Probably not and most important thing is are you ready to do everything to win. Which can mean camping/slugging and tunneling.

    I play both sides equally.

I'm not denying facecamping, hitting hooked survivors and slugging someone to death aren't toxic, but their existence shouldn't solely be reason to deny this suggestion

I don't believe teabagging and flashlight clicking are minor issues. They can seriously ruin someone's experience if done exhaustively. Ultimately, this leads to a decrease in player satisfaction, which is undesirable.

There's a reason most games out there have anti-teabagging systems. They just add to the overall toxicity of the game. Not to mention the underlying sexual reference.

Well that player is too soft and maybe dbd is not game for him if teabagging is really what ruins his experience. I understand clicking can be very annoying and it can cause actually eye strain so it's need nerf. But killer can really ruin survivor experience do these are only minor issues compared to facecamping and hitting hooked survivor, bleeding survivor on ground as those makes you unable to play the game.

I report them as unsportsmanlike every time. The game is balanced to a 4 man swf. When playing as solo there’s often an instant DC. So we now have an already unbalanced game (killer is favored vs solos) become insanely unfair. Since Behaviour can’t figure out a fair way to deal with immediate DCs it’s MY OPINION that it is unsportsmanlike for a killer to play a game that is wildly unfair and balanced in their favor and they should just make it a farming game instead of beating up a team that is stuck in an unfair match since Behaviour wont let us quit in these situations. Just throwing it out there… It’s your system Behaviour. This is how I interpret it.

Killer does not have to farm if he does not want to and usually that's not either what survivors want to do. But however in this situation killer can play more fair and go for chases instead camping or tunneling and also hook everyone twice before finishing anyone off and that what I do personally sometimes I farm with the last 2. But if killer does play like is 4vs1 and hard tunnels/camp it's miserable experience for sure but still not reportable. As killer job is to sacrifice survivors and well some just want quick easy win.

Yeah, clicking and teabagging is baiting the killer... facecamping (not just camping, roaming around, literal facecamping) and hitting the survivor on hook, or slugging the last survivor for no reason at all and waiting for them to bleed out.. now that's toxic.. clicking and tbagging? annoying, but not really toxic

Clicking is still toxic but other I agree. Yeah I had killer bleeding me out as I made few 360s agains't her and she closed hatch front of me while I crawled to it. She also just continued hitting the air and purged on me. So some killers are just much worser than survivors in the game. In chat survivors can be horrible as well.

Now, these stats are years old at this point, but it used to be that SWF made up the majority of the player-base.

    I don't imagine that's changed.

Debends how you count sfw is 2 man sfw or is 3 man sfw? 2 man sfw for me is soloQ. Real sfw is 4 man squad. But 3 man can be pretty sfw but that one solo might make lot of mistakes and cost them game so they can still suffer soloQ issues but definetely not as much.

I don't think it shocks anyone to say teabagging, or repeatedly spamming the crouch key/button, and flashlight clicking are absolutely disgusting. They are the peak of toxicity in Dead By Daylight, and it's seriously about time to address them.

    Anti-teabagging System:

I think it would help reducing the amount of toxicity in the community if there was a way to slow down repeated crouches, or nerf the crouching speed so normal crouching works as expected, but spamming it causes your character to "get tired" after every crouch more and more so it becomes slower for every next crouch.

Off the top of my head, CS:GO has a crouching system that would work perfectly here. It kills two birds with one stone; it prevents fast crouch peeks and stops teabagging simultaneously. Now, fast crouch peeks aren't an issue in a game like Dead By Daylight, but teabagging definitely is.

    Anti-Flashlight Clicking System:

For flashlight clicking/spamming, I'm not exactly sure how slowing it down to the same level of the aforementioned anti-teabagging system would work, but it could be tried out.

Alternatively, introducing a cooldown between each flashlight click could be an option. Say 5 seconds between each click. So survivors are still able to blind the killer, therefore making the item still work as expected, but spam clicking it wouldn't be possible anymore, as they would have to wait 5 seconds to use the flashlight again. Of course, this number is up for debate, but I hope it gives you an idea of what I'm going for here.

I can't think of a single reason to keep either of these features in game, other than the fact they just add up to overall toxicity in the community, but you could prove me wrong. What are your thoughts?

These are only minor issues compared to killef facecamping/tunneling and hitting survivors on hook and making survivors just feel as miserable as possible. Those are much bigger issues does teabagging prevent you playing the game? Nope it's maybe annoying but when you hook them you can headnod and hit them on hook to payback. Flashlight clicking needs nerf that it can't ve done too fast and blinding also should be less bright cause some people are sensivite for these. Even I once got headache from someone clicking at me but I played too long anyway that time. But really facecamping and hitting survivor on hook are at least as much as toxic. You probably don't care about these issues as you only play killer but I play both sides and those are big problems.

You cannot compare the Pig camping a box to Bubba camping a hook.

The issue with Piggy was that she could use an addon, then AFK in front of a box - do nothing at all, and still get a kill. Bubba at least has to chase and hook survivors.

I think grapping healthy survivor from hook doing the save needs to go. Even lot of facecamping bubba's go for that grap. Maybe that would help bit for camping problem and make chasing survivors more worth it.

The Pig afk thing is obviously an even more ridiculous situation. That said, obviously there are good reasons to, if there is a way, systematically steer killers away from thinking that standing in place at a hook for two minutes is a viable strategy. I just don’t know what sort of system would be a good way to do that without breaking something.

Grapping healthy survivor from hook needs to go and maybe that one bubba's add on needs to be looked at which makes him able to beat borrowed time.

  • @GreyBigfoot said:

When Balanced Landing ruled the exhaustion meta, at least there were times where a survivor would simply not be in a high spot, and therefore got no use from it. It did needed that nerf though.

But now it needs a buff it's garbage.

So lately I've noticed gens are getting done in less then 4 minutes.

I think that's rather ridiculous that gens can be finished so quickly. Now it forces killers to camp/tunnel.

Devs please do something about this. Because I want to play a game that's more then 4 minutes.

Sorry I needed to vent about this.

Use corrupt invertion it's in shrine of secret that should slow down game a bit at least. But if gen speed would be slower than they are who would want to fix them like it's most boring part of the game as survivor. Camping and tunneling would be even more worth it also. But if survivors just gen rush you should tunnel one out and proxy camp.
