If you get nine hooks, the game was not even close to balanced. Maybe if you hyper tunneled the first two and got lucky with the last two cooperating with you instead of playing for hatch. But still, I wouldn't call that easy as it requires the other side to help you...

I would just use a low mmr killer to do that in one try as opposed to attempting it on your main.

Personally I try to get iri devout just by hooking everyone but at some point I take one out. And then make sure everyone is hooked twice before finishing the rest.

That's a fair opinion. I don't know how you play, but generally I try to 2 hook people because I get more bloodpoints and I don't want to tunnel people just cause I know how it feels. With how I play, I would consider getting 9 hooks balanced because that could mean I 2 hooked everyone and got 1-2 kills. For my win conditions on how I play killer, I would call this a draw, but I totally get that most people do not play like this.

I also didn't call this easy to do, I just meant that it isn't the hardest one in my opinion. I feel like Gatekeeper is harder to get because you basically have to dominate the early game and make sure the gens don't fly too fast and then guarantee that gates don't get opened. It's definitely not easy to have a good game like this when you're going against sweaty survivors, but considering OP was able to mori their survivors, it probably means they have enough games that they dominate where they should be able to get 9 hooks.

Sounds you play very fairly I respect that. I try to hook everyone twice when I have good games as killer and as survivor so im more friendly then. But however when I get hard tunneled or killers are just very toxic for no reason I became toxic killer too.

Like today my team brought two cakes and killer hard tunneled and camped when he already dominated the game and there was 4 gens left. For me it was not possible to get good points my teammates were bad and killer took advantage of that and I ended up dying on first hook. Killer was rewarded he got good points unfortunately. Killers like him just show for me that survivors don't need nerfs anymore but killers do and killers are always the most toxic ones.

But back go my original post I also played games where I got 11 hooks but one bleed out on the ground as blendette hid probably in corner of the map and didn't help I regret not using deerstalker in that game. I played very fairly that one as I hooked everyone twice before killing anyone. For me iri gatekeeper is usually easier than iri devout. It's easier to stop gens than get 12 hooks and not do bit of camping. I also use gen slow down build and im pretty good avoiding quick 2 gen pop before first hook.

It's not Self Care it's CoH. It is more likely in my opinion that BHVR reused code from Self Care to make CoH and the data is catching that than high MMR players running Self Care in numbers compatible with DH.

I don't see survivors using coh anymore that much but self-care is pretty common and much better perk to use. Im not sure if coh is as slow but you still have to find totem and bless it which takes so much time it's not worth it. I see teams losing because they use time to bless totem instead doing gens.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

If game balanced around min 75% kill rate, would you play survivor?

Let's say BHVR decided to make killer real power role. Now all killers have min 75% kill rate with less effort or easier than current. Would you still play survivor? And which role you are playing more right now?

I would quit playing solo survivor but would still probably play with friends as sfw would probably still be strong enough to survive sometimes. Killer would become easy mode for me my kill rate already probably is around 70%. I think that would cause me to play less killer as when I dominate couple matches im just done. My last 6 matches I have 5×4K and one 2K.

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

"survivor moris" and that's where you went wrong. You need 9 hooks, 4 kills, and each individual survivor hooked at least once.

By the scoreboard, you got at maximum 8 hooks, as all 4 survivors were morid. This means no iridescent devout.

It literally says so on the emblem.

I know but I think im actually gotten it even with mori:ing everyone in the past. The second game was so unlucky with 11 hooks and if I ever try this challenge again im going to use deerstalker. I think in the past I also got iri devout while one escaped so these games just left me so frustated.

That’s what it takes to guarantee a sacrifice in this survivor sided state of the game. No mercy for those with multiple advantages.

I disagree the game is sided towards the one who wants to win more and you just have to know what to do. I 3-4K most my matches so sounds just skill issue if you need to facecamp at 5 gens to get a kill. Sometimes you lose no matter how well you play but it's not possible to win every game. But even those games I usually find a way to get 2K.

  • @DrDeepwound said:

Its probably a survivor main tbh, they always play killer during bloodhunts and do this

Bait out the dh for distance... good one. Also literally a match I watched earlier was literally won because of CoH lol. 10.6 second heals is still no joke when the boon totem is placed in some obscure spot.

The perk is still incredibly busted but now because people have to spend oh no THREE more seconds self caring its suddenly trash on a role where time is your best friend.

I don't see it used much anymore and in my sfw we never use it either. You have to waste time looking for totem so the faster healing is not worth it better just run self-care or medkit. Baiting works lot of time agains't dh they have to use it perfectly if it does not work. So yeah then could say dh needs skill.

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

Depends. Were they actively carrying someone or just picking them up, because its entirely possible you just mistimed it.

They were actively carrying and like I said I got bp and exhausted from using it but the stun just didn't work so I used it right and didn't miss.

  • @Brimp said:

Should have just outplayed the E key for distance or the CoH in the 2nd floor of a building I guess.

Coh is trash now so it's not reason you lost. Try to bait the dead hard and hit them after they used it. If you play blight it should not be even problem thought.

  • @AGM said:

Not trying to be rude, but this sounds like one of those times where the phrase "Sounds like a skill issue," genuinely applies.

I bring streamers and cakes all the time. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. I don't expect the survivors to grovel at my feet just because I brought a double bp offering. I just go into the match and try to have a nice, fun, fair game. If you can't go into a trial with that mindset, even when you use a double bp offering, maybe you need a break.

This is a game. The point is to have fun. If you're not, then you're either burnt out or this isn't the game for you.

When I bring cake or party streamer I tunnel someone out if need to im not there to play nice but to get good amount bp. Very rarely I get under 50K in those matches. Usually 60-90K debending on if they bring cake as well.

  • Cool and I think pyramid head is there at his own will to punish and he could leave at any time.

This doesn't mean it's necessary. From your comment, it seems you believe that dead hard making the difference between winning and losing games makes it necessary, though all it seems to me is that you're not good enough to loop without it as a crutch. This doesn't mean it's necessary, it means you rely on it too much.

All my teammates had dh but they went lot sooner down than me so I did what I could but that distance was just needed in these mstches and agains't nurse or blight it's only good counter.

  • It is I played games without perks to get achiement and killer got 4K every single game but with dh I would extended most chases and at least survived few of those games.

Oh, base kit unbreakable. Nothing could possibly go wrong with giving survivors one of their strongest perks for free.

If you don't like being bled out, alt tab. I've been going against a spare of bizzare knock out plagues lately. I just go watch a video or something.

I would say there could be unbreakable if there is at least 2 other survivors alive but it would work only after you been on the ground 2 mins so it would prevent bleeding out.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2967467#Comment_2967467

Yeah, of course it would need changes. But I don't think it has to be massive. I mean, you already know the killer is nearby by its terror radius. What would actually need to change would be the gen repair, making it more entertaining. Someone mentioned a button to look back, that can be easily done and implemented... Idk... But it seems survivors don't want the slightest challenge so... yeah...

There is youtube video someone trying the 1st pov and it was not possible to loop. I would quit survivor and just be full killer main if they would change it. I already 3-4K most of my games so I would probably win every match then. So big nerfs would be nerfed for survivors to have any chanse the game is balanced around that survivors has that 3st pov. Not every killer has terror radius always and there is perks which make killers undetectable too.

Just different ideas of what’s fun that’s all.

Also the part about bad comments, doesn’t matter how someone plays there is no reason to be either angry or abusive over a game.

The terms tunnelling and camping are often just excuses for losing and bad sports use these terms to justify being unpleasant and down right toxic gamers.

You see it time and again, post after post, about tunnelling and camping that if you read between the lines are just saying “I lost waaah, here’s my excuse”

These threads are often filled with people replying about how players are scumbags etc. The OP often degenerates into a name calling tantrum a lot of the time.

I’d bet that the only reason they don’t stoop to direct abuse on the forum is that the forum is moderated, in game I’m sure these people are a delight to interact with. These are the people you have to private your account for and turn off direct messaging or sit there with a stream of abuse that can go on for a long time. I don’t think I’ve blocked and banned as many other players on any game before as I have on DBD. It’s a shame.

Well if I get tunneled as survivor I get mad and think most survivors do and some go very far with that anger... so if you don't want that toxicity try to test what happens when you don't tunnel. Some still will be toxic even if you play fairly but I mostly get Gg playing that way even when I kill them all. Occasionally I tunnel some survivors from beginning and I can get salty messages from them but I accept that just then.

  • @Chiky said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2967277#Comment_2967277

It would be more tense. With the survivors being able to see everywhere, it's not tense or scary or anything, as they know the location of the killer all the time

Well killers would dominate and win every game easily so nobody would play survivor and looping is the most fun thing to do as survivor which would not be possible in 1st pov. That would not be dbd anymore and also killers powers would need huge nerfs and they would have to have lot slower movement speed. Maps would probably have to be lot darker and there should be more hiding spot.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Eh. Close enough. Realistically, what makes the game killer sided in practice is that most survivors are throwing for one reason or another. Most are valid, even. Archive challenges, bored of gen rushing, they care more about getting a teammate out than getting themselves out. Add in some salty survivors rage quitting and the game is, as the kids say, ez mode.

That being said, game design wise, you might be on some blighted serum if you think it is literally killer sided.

Not every single survivor is good looper lot of them are just average or bad so any killer can relistically win and consistently get 3-4K. You can say survivors are throwing but that just not the case usually. Nurse and blight can win lot more consistently probably 90% matches if they are good. Other killers can't do that but they can still win most matches. So this makes the game more killer sided and with dirty tactics you can still win good looper squad most of the time if they make one mistake and usually they do. If survivors play perfectly and don't do any mistakes they will obviously win almost any killer but that does not happen often.

  • @pseudechis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2966158#Comment_2966158

Sure I get it. I find a 3v1 game more fun as killer because it’s more manageable and survivors often play less obnoxiously once they are under some real pressure.

This creates the horror movie setting I’m looking for where rather than trying to waste my time in chase, survivors are trying to get away. At 3v1 this game shines when playing killer so getting it to 3v1 asap is often my goal.

Yes one person will be eliminated early and may not find that fun, but I’ve largely stopped caring about that. Not out of maliciousness but rather it’s only a game and I just play it how I want that’s all.

You probably don't get nice comments especially doing that every game but it's fine I find it just boring. I only do it when it's only option or someone manages to make me angry. I like when they take more risk in 4vs1. It's not as easy to manage but lot debends which killer you play. I want to win on merit so that's why tinneling feels cheating. But when I do tunnel it's usually best looper of the team who makes me mad. That ends me losing as others just do gens. You probably play myers? He is pretty weak so tunneling weakest survivor out often is only option to have chance with him thought. I think some killers need buffs so they can be more viable and corrupt invertion should be basekit. But also tunneling needs to be nerfed for survivors it's miserable experience often.

Bravo devs on selecting the twins as the killer for this tome, because it perfectly showcases how little you actually care about the Binding of Kin chapter ever since its release. Playing twins is essentially venturing into the territory of masochism. They're clunky. They're buggy. You get crushed even though you've just regained control of Victor, it's horrendous. And you honestly expect us to play them like this? Shame on you.

That killer was probably the biggest mess you've ever coded for this game and it's quite evident that you'd rather forget they even exist. You know they suck aside from the two twins mains there apparently are, the stats you released a few months showed that quite clearly.

And wanna know what else shows it quite clearly? In every single tome we've had so far, during the time that a specific level was open and had a challenge or two that required you to play as a specific killer, I would see that killer in trials. I have not seen a single twin in the 25 days this rift has been open so far. Not a single one. That should tell you everything.

I hear that twins are next in the pipeline for an update? Congrats on missing the chance to fix them before their own tome. You really don't care about them.

I'm seriously disappointed. If not for Elodie, I'd deeply regret ever buying that chapter back when it released.

I know this isn't very constructive feedback, aside from voicing serious disappointment about a glaring lack of passion when it comes to the twins. But maybe it could provide an incentive: I don't intend to ever touch the twins again as soon as I have done their challenges. But fix the twins and people like myself might start choosing them again, because the idea of controlling two characters is a cool and interesting one, it's just very poorly executed at the moment. I'd love for them to be a killer worth choosing over another, I do wish that chapter success.

Most matches I play agains't twins end up her slugging everyone so yeah I don't think she is that bad to play. Nobody can avoid victor you are quaranteed to hit with him.

Maybe your version of fun is different from their version of fun.

I think I answerd this to someone who was pointing out that is unfun as killer to tunnel someone quickly out and then play 3vs1. I think that is boring too. Most fun are those situations when there is 4 alive and they all together and you can get lot of hits on them and get few slugs. Well slugging everyone can be fun too but I don't usually want to end match too soon so I go for 3 slugs at most and then hook them.

yeah killer can get 24k 10 hooks and 3k and still no pip.

    So easy

Never had that kind of problem did you the end match quickly? I usually try to make match bit longer if possible so I get 30K+ Bp and 3-4K. But what I notice that it is very hard to at least depip. Some matches where I AFK long time or search for glypths I don't lose pips and still get brutal killer...

I've seen that there are lots of killers that the killer mains apparently refuse to play. Here is my Top 5 list of Killers who I haven't seen in a long, LONG time in my matches as a survivor:

    1. Hag
    2. Billy
    3. Demogorgon
    4. Twins
    5. Plague

Haven't seen for a while demogorgon, doctor, spirit and onryo. Recently I have seen more Oni's but I went full 3 months without seeing one before so they are rare too. Trikster, executioner and freddy are kinda rare too.

  • @StarLost said:

Now that I'm sort of addicted to changing my killer after every match, I've realized that some just get...lost in the shuffle. Or ignored for other reasons.

Plague - I have no idea why, because I love playing as her. But I seldom go 'oh, know what I feel like next? Some Plague!'.

Onryo - Now that people know how to handle her, she's become - in my opinion - among the weakest killers in the game. Her big problem is lacking a 'pivot point' - something you can potentially do to snowball. Honestly, I'd prefer to play on Pig.

Oni and Billy - The only two killers left that I'm not at least somewhat confident on. Both put me off for different reasons, but I'll likely never love playing Billy. Oni...I'll start learning soon.

Clown - I don't mind his mechanics, I just loathe his visual and audio design. He's more 'murder hobo' than 'scary clown'.

Bubba - He's...often rather sad to play if you actively avoid camping like I do, and his audio is awful. He sounds more like a pig than Pig.

Onryo: she is just weak so I dropped her pretty quickly I never got to even mori someone with her ability.

Hillbilly: because of no mobility at all.

Spirit: I avoid her sometimes because she only has 110% movement speed so she is kinda weak that way.

Doctor: I forget he exist and he is also boring.

Demogorgon and Hag: I have so many killers so some of them I barely play and kind of forget them.

I don't understand how people get tunneled game after game. I mean on average you should only be getting tunneled once in every four games & that's providing that every killer player you face tunnels someone.

If someone is getting tunneled you should probably be down to at least 3 gens left to do by the time they die or even close to 2 gens left. The game is still very much in a 50/50 win/lose state for both sides.

Survivors fail to realise that if a killer has 4 survivors left by the time 2 gens are left then it's pretty much 99% lose in most cases. You can be down at 2 gens within a few minutes. One of the biggest mistakes that causes you to win or lose a match as a killer is choosing at what point you need to tunnel to win. If you ignore that injured survivor who's on death hook and opt to chase another and suddenly you are on 2 gens then you screwed up & will most likely lose or draw. If you take them out you significantly increased your chance to win the match.

Lot of times I have had games where was 1-2 gens left and still 4 survivors alive but by that time most of them are on dead hook so at that point I usually get 2 kills very fast and then it's 2vs1. Worst case scenario is 3K and other one escaping through exit gates at that point.

  • @Cybil said:

It's worth noting that it's not fun for the killer either. When I'm playing killer and this happens I feel like I'm just wasting my time on an easy win.

Why killer chooses to tunnel then? Maybe he wants just easy win it's harder to win 4vs1 but lot more fun but not everyone want fun game just win and 4K.

So you're saying average survivor is bad? Even good survivors miss their dh occasionally. So you want it to be balanced around those who has played 2000+ hours? Even lot of those survivors are still pretty average or some even bad...

  • @MrMori said:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/87ADYO33H1XK/dbdfov2.png

Dead by Daylight's FOV is measured at 87 degrees, but anyone who's played any FPS games with 90 FOV can tell this measurement is off. This is because it's actually the Horizontal FOV, not the average FOV. This translates to an average of 71 by default. Note the FOV for TF2 here averaging 90.

Playing with Shadowborn is very comfortable, and feels much better. The only thing it changes are "FOV techs" becoming harder to perform as survivor, but I honestly think running into the killers face and hiding beneath their vision when you're playing something like Nemesis trying to hit a tentacle is just weird game design anyway.

There are only two perks related to FOV. Shadowborn and Monitor and Abuse. I have an idea for some changes for them too. Monitor and Abuse could give a small boost of movespeed when not in chase, say 2/3/4%. And Shadowborn could roll with Wraiths perks for finding survivors, and perhaps reveal the aura of survivors within 4/5/6m when NOT in chase as well.

I just want a comfortable FOV without having to run perks. And so do a lot of players. Now's the perfect time. A simple slider between what we have now and true 90 degree FOV would be all it takes.

Those changes would make them too strong perks. You just gotta get used to the normal fov. I only think that instadown killer should have higher fov when they use their power like bubba and oni. But other killers who don't have instadown don't need it.

  • @Xyex said:

I hated this idea immediately on reveal, and the more I've thought about it the more I hate it. Give Killers a Cyprus Mori by default if you want, but DO NOT make it mandatory. Reasons why:

    1. When playing Killer I enjoy, well, playing Killer. This is chasing and downing Survivors, including the last Survivor. The game isn't over until I catch them or they get away. Now when I catch them they just... die. I can't catch them then give them hatch. Which means I can no longer give hatch. I'm not gonna just AFK while they look for hatch, that's boring. There's also been times I was carrying them to the hook and heard hatch on the way and decided on a whim to drop them there instead.

    2. This completely screw over BBQ. Sometimes that last Survivor is the best one on the team, one you haven't gotten to hook yet. So no BBQ stack for them yet. And now, no BBQ stack ever. Because they just die. Which means now I have to choose between my stacks and throwing the entire game to catch the god looper.

    3. This also completely messed with Devout. For the same reasons as BBQ. If you never hook the last guy, because he just dies immediately, now you don't get your points for hooking everyone. And maybe not even your 9 hooks points. Which makes the already stupidly hard Adepts in Iridescent even more of a pain.

    4. It doesn't happen often that Survivors who get caught in the end manage to break free and ultimately escape the match, but it DOES happen. And now it can't. Even with these being optional, let alone the mandatory version. Which is just stupid.

So, yeah, most of the anniversary stream stuff was great. But this? This is garbage. It needs to at least be optional. But preferably, never happen at all.

I agree I think it's just make killer more miserable experience. Carrying the last survivor to hatch showing some kindness just keeps your going I will probably play lot less killer now or just do lot more farming matches. I don't know im just speechless. Even when I bring mori to kill the last survivor offering I let them usually escape anyway so this is just bad change for me.

They will complain about the next exhaustion perk 🙊

Yeah they will complain lot about sprint burst and lithe.

  • Most of the time it can't be used for distance or they fail to do it properly. So most of time baiting it out works unless if it's very good looper.

  • @Patrick1088 said:

First can I say I didn't realize META stood for "Most Effective Tools Available"? Lol if I didn't see than in the stream I wouldn't have known that lol

Im not really hoping for nerfs per se, but I would love some perks to become base kit in some manner (I.e. Corrupt, BT) and then the perks themselves can stack on top of these. Say corrupt base is 60s, but then Corrupt perk adds another 90s. Corrupt by itself is weaker, but the base kit adds another 30s overall. So it takes up a perk slot but adds more overall time. Some killers I only have tier 1 (RNG) but it still works as it'll give me time to set up with Trapper

I would love to see changes to Lightborn. An added exposure aspect for the person attempting to blind will be interesting.

On survivor side, I think they need more shake up. Since I started playing in 2020, killer meta shifts with new combos (Ruin/Undying, Scourge: Pain + DMS,. PGTW + Oppression, Hoarder + Cenobite, etc.). Other than Boons, Boil Over and a few others not much has changed. I've been having fun with stun/blind build (Head On, Flashbang, Parental Guidance, DS), but the meta perks are still strong (DS, UB, DH, BT, IW)

That corrupt would be too short it has to be at least 40s with the perk so then it's 100s. But corrupt should be basekit so gen rushing would not be as easy for survivors.

  • @sizzlingmario4 said:

Well for killer, ideally regression as a whole with some baseline changes so that regression perks don't feel required. NOED also should get reworked.

For survivor, DH and COH, and address camping/tunneling more broadly so that nerfing BT and DS is actually reasonable and not just a horrible idea.

So let's make camping and tunneling even more worth it if ds and bt gets nerf. Hard tunneling now is even solid stragedy usually if it's sfw they come to help and that gives easy win but camping is usually better stragedy if you can pressure others at the same time.

No. Play the game as intended. Don't cheat and make sure you play fair. That is how you show respect to your opponent. This whole hatch debate seems to forget that. To assume you have to go out of your way to "be nice", or the implication that acts such as this is the only way to be nice is wrong. You get the 4k, fair play. You get 0k, fair play. Respect and move on.

Well I want to win so I can't play fair always. I have lost easy 4K:s sometimes because I wanted to hook everyone twice before killing anyone. So sometimes you just have to be evil and cheat.

Because you can be kind and show sportsmanship without giving someonethe hatch. And the problem is that people doing this a) creates expectations and fuels survivor entitlement, and b) is kind of condescending and disrespectful. Actually rather unsportsmanlike.

Well other way is just to farm with them and let them escape then I quess?

I understand some players are complaining that if you’re the last survivor alive and you get downed, you won’t be able to use DS, power struggle and flip flop.

But it’s not like that happens often anyway and you know you’re most likely dead at that point. I don’t see why it’s a problem.

That's not the problem. Problem is that as killer I can't let last survivor escape and carry her to hatch or exit gate. It just make it very hard to show that you let them escape and show some friendliness.

If BT/DS are to get nerfed are you guys gonna find ways to make camping/tunneling punishable or at least make killers discourage themselves from doing it???

Ds needs buff if anything. It's probably best antitunnel perk and still it barely help's. When I tunnel as killer it's small delay and I can get the survivor out in less than 3 min in the game. Without ds I only need 2 mins. You can always wait it out too so the timer should be longer. And it does not even help bad players who need it the most because the difficult skill check. Bt is fine now unless they make it basekit I don't think it need changes. I have idea for new antitunnel perk that you can give one hook state for other survivor so that would mean you get instantly second hook if it's your first hook. Corrupt invertion should be basekit for killers to slow down game.

Like I said in the post. I don't care. I don't care what survivors think of this post. This is meant for killers. Say whatever you want. I've spoken what I wanted to get out. If you agree great, if you don't that's fine.

Lot of survivors play killer too. Or is this post for killer mains who play 80% of the time killer? Im dbd main but I probably play more survivors cause I like to play with friends. But if they ever add 2 killer mode I will become killer main.

  • @ACleverName4Me said:

Camp and tunnel more. Use the most overpowered perks and addons. Face camp every survior who uses dead hard, decisive strike, unbreakable or any perk that annoys you. Run whatever perks you want, use noed, scourge hooks, ruin, undying, currupt, lethal pursuer and whatever perks help whatever killer you use. Use Blight, nurse, spirit, artist, endgame trapper, impossible skill check doctor, legion with 4 slowdowns and long duration frenzy.

Play how YOU want to play, you paid for the game, you are the killer and not the babysitter. You're mission is to give survivors to the entity and forget that stupid fake rulebook survivors try to bash into your head. 12 hooking doesn't belong in this game when survivors want to be split on gens, hide with spine chill and iron will, wear the darkest cosmetics and exploits.

How many bully squads have you faced? They want to see you suffer to laugh and say ez. Bring lightborn against the flashlight squad. 99% everyone's stalk as ghostface and slug near your first hook.

Survivors wanna bring brand new parts, septic agents and sabo boxes? Bring the forbidden addons of your killer. Pinkie finger with extra bottles, bloody coil with iri stone or honing stone, 3 blink nurse, any addon above brown for blight, permanent teir 3 myers.

Survivors if you think about saying how toxic this post is and how I'm horrible for encouraging this behavior. I don't care. This post was meant for killers and if you are a killer who still doesn't agree that you can play however you want in this game I don't consider you a killer, I consider you a brainwashed subject of survivors. Forget survivor fun, focus on your fun. SLUG FOR THE 4K, slug at 5 gens and camp them with insidious behind a corner with nurses calling and sloppy butcher.

You paid for the game right? You own the game because it was a gift? You HAVE OBTAINED A COPY IN SOEM FORM. Play for your fun, punish survivors for thinking they can bully you. Don't wanna go to the map they wanna send you too? Exit during loading screen and find a new lobby. You get called horrible things during endgame? Tell them you don't care about their opinion, you're the killer your job is to kill.

The devs want more killers in the game but why haven't they looked at the most USED AND POWERFUL PERKS that are in the survivor meta? Guess they don't want more killers. This is a game play how you want to but I'm encouraging that you don't follow survivor rulebooks. They don't care about you or your fun so make your own fun.

I play how I want but I don't want to camp or tunnel if I don't need to. If I can win playing for 12 hooks im going to do it. I play for bp so facecamping and slugging won't give me that as much and it's not worth to do especially if I have cake. However if survivor loops me too long or annoys me some other way im going to face camp him. But still most of time im kind of fair killer and it's totally ok way to be if every killer just camp, tunnel and slug it would spread toxicity and survivors experience would be miserable and I think this community is enough toxic already. Im even that fair killer that I let last guy lot of times escape but I quess it's because I play both sides.

    Question is on title.

I'd say more Mid-Chapters to fix game issues.

Hello People of Fog. We wanted improve our base game and that's not so easy. So we decided to do not release any new chapter for 6 months. We will improve game with 6 Health-Chapters (one each month).

2 killer mode vs 8 survivors

The 100% wiggle increase was the only reason why boil over was useful because it would actually affect PC users, the current 80% still has little to no effect on PC players making it useless for all players. You essentially did to boil over what you did to Hoarders, nerf the perk into the void.

I think boil over should be changed to increase wiggling speed by 20% and not cause struggling effects to increase. So then it would work agains't pc players and console players without hurting the other side.

First not good if you’re relying on a single perk that badly to beat killers when others do it plenty of times

Nurse you need to get good distance and be as predictable as the weather at most add-on nerfs

Blight don’t go into open areas stay where it’s cluttered at most add-on changes

Nemesis not really hard just hold w, crouch, and get familiar with tier 1-2 and 3 ranges so you know when to vault

Artist beatable just a chore to do so by the magical W key maybe slight rework

All beatable killers no Dead Hard necessary those who say they’re unbeatable without it rely on Dead Hard too much.

Dead hard is best perk for survivors so ofcourse I rely on it. Nemesis testacle hits just from so far away countering that is very hard if he is any decent so dh is needed. Agains't good nurse and blight dh is only way to survive bit longer and extend the chase. Sb can work sometimes agains't nurse but agains't blight no.

I consider myself to be a baby killer, newbie but can still win some games depending on the circumstances, i watch videos, guides, study the game, perks, and play a bit of survivor as well, but im facing a "problem", im just chilling playing my game, doing my thing, trying to improve, sometimes i find myself on a bad situation of no kills and 3 or 4 gens done, well at that point i know i can't kill everyone, more likely, so i decide to camp the hook or tunnel, again im playing for fun, if i decide i want to take one survivor with me, i will, i read the rules and there is nothing against camping or tunneling, i know some people might find it not a honorable thing to do, well, for me it is, because im a weak killer and its a strategy that sometimes gives me good returns, like people trying to save the others and i end up killing 2 - 3, or even 4.., so stop insulting killers when they do that, i've been getting hundreds of insults after games on the chat, even when i say GG, i dont insult anyone when they loop me forever, or blind me, or drop pallets on me, im having fun, not trying to exchange insults with people every single round i play, i have 75 hours of gameplay, so please be considerate of people playing the game, we are just having FUN, and if you die its not a big deal..

If you tunnel and camp you can't really complain that survivors insult you on chat. Those are dirty stragedies so ofcourse survivors won't be too happy. Ofcourse if the insults go out of the line then you can disable the game chat or just ignore it. It's fine to tunnel and camp but don't expect survivors to say GG to you after the game. When all gens get done killer should camp and tunnel to secure kill or two ofcourse. But tunneling when there is 4 gens left is not very nice. Tunneling when 2 gens left is totally fine. If you want to just chill I recomend playing for hooks. You don't have to hook everyone twice but just avoid tunneling then survivors should not insult you on chat. Survivors drop pallets and blind you to survive so it's different. However if survivors teabag at you and flashlight clicks at you or just troll that is their equal to tunneling and camping so then I recomend just camp and tunnel to make it even.

I’m sorry but none of those killers need a nerf, rework sure, add-on changes also, but not a flat out nerf, all those killers are beatable without DH and DH needs to be nerfed because of how devastating it is to lower tier killers and how it literally is a perk that is the most on demand easy exhaustion perk.

Yes they all need nerfs expect spirit. Artist can make loops useless with her birds so that needs nerf. Nemesis can hit 10 miles away with his testacle that needs nerf. Blight is not counterable at all without dh and same with nurse so those killer should be just deleted if dh gets nerf.

That's why killers have been constantly getting buffed nonstop over the course of 6 years since release. And that's why the average kill rate has gone up to pretty much 3,5-3,7 , basically meaning most games result in 3-4k. Because they don't want to balance the game around killers being a threat.

    ... Right.

Legion was powerful before the buff. I easily got 3-4k every game, unless it was this very anecdotical and rare SWF team in a strong map. You get those 1 out of 10 games, if even. People playing killer just honestly want to watch a cinematic at this point, not play a game.

Killer mains want to dominate and don't want survivors having a chance. But legion buff was needed he was weakest killer on the game. I dominate most of my games as killer and get 3-4K and usually let last guy escape. When I lose it's because I made mistakes. Good sfw are not that common what some say and then it's only real challenge to win and still at least half the time I 4K agains't them. SoloQ is usually automatic win for killer is he is decent.
