Your capability to say meaningful arguments is less than zero
I'm not here to argue. If you get facecamped, you deserve it for being bad. Whole point is to not get sacrificed. Be mad at yourself. :)

No one is crying girlina.
It's just a fact. IF your only way of winning is making sure other people can't play, you're giving yourself a handicap.
It's not open to opinion and it's not subjective.
We have 3 hook states for a reason and a person losing 1 chase doesn't make them a bad player at all.
There are many factors at play. A pallet missing, lag, sandbagging or body-blocking or surprise survivor in their way?
Or thinking they can take a hit and it being a part of their play but you having some form of one-shot perk of choice.
You're not good if you face camp, it's a F A C T. PROXY camping if you saw someone or see trackmarks? Mkay, that's fine.
Taking someone on their first down at 5 gens and standing too close for anyone to get them? You're OBVIOUSLY bad at chase and don't feel confident you can down someone before 5 gens and exit gates get powered. You - don't - deserve - the - win. You're forcing one, because you're bad and you can play HOW you want but you're STILL bad.
You didn't beat anyone, you took away their ability to play the game because you couldn't win. :P
A win is a win whether it's deserved or not. If every survivor DCs, it's a win. If everyone dies on 3rd hook, it's a win. If everyone dies on 1st hook, it's a win. Hell, some killers are happy with ONE sacrifice. Who made you the referee? You don't get to decide what a win condition is. Keep telling yourself whatever you need to. If a facecamping killer isn't good and you die to them, what does that make you?

Alright lemme try to not go down against killers then even though alot of the killers are designed to down you
######### mb shouldn’t have gone down won’t do it again
I'm not ashamed to say I've been outlooped, outplayed, and outsmarted by a slippery eel of a survivor. Some people are just good. Others get facecamped.

You say that as if going down as a survivor isn't inevitable.
Good survivors never get hooked. Great survivors never go down. Exceptional survivors never get hit. Where do you fall?

Imagine defending face camping
Imagine crying about getting face camped. it's simple: If you don't get hooked, you don't get face camped. Argue with BHVR.

Hey guys in my opinion the end game timer for the kill is rubbish as it goes way too long and the survivors mostly escape at the end.
Here are my ideas.
The time will shorten by 1 min.
The timer already starts with the last generator when it comes on. That would be even better.
The overtime is only activated on hooking and not on knockdown by the survivor. But since the time should only be reduced by 30% during.
Instead of giving players less EGC time, here's a run down of a Freddy build that will make it so survivors can't get out in record time:
No Way Out: Blocks both exit gates for 1 minute when touched. (Trickster Perk)
Remember Me: Increases opening time of exit gates by 16 seconds, so 36 seconds total on top of waiting for No Way Out to finish.
Blood Warden: If you hook somebody while exit gate is open, the exits will be blocked for an additional minute.
Black Box Add-On: This pairs with Blood Warden, it blocks the exit for 15 seconds. This should give you enough time to down a survivor and hook them so Blood Warden can actually activate.
Fourth perk can be whatever you want.

Good for you, some of us like to play with our food.

That's 1 up for the killers. A billion more and we'll be even.

I don't have a video but from personal experience fast vaults and unhooks for some reason start the grab animation but never go through.

You read that from the wiki. However, in-game it does not remove the heart beat inside the terror radius. It completely removes the terror radius. And since the heart beat is linked to the terror radius, it also removes that as well.
Freddy's power says nothing about removing the terror radius, but it does mention Oblivious. Even in-game it says it isn't removed, it says survivors are not considered as being in the radius. It's in a superpositon of existing and non existing. So again I ask, why? Why are survivors protected from TR perks if the radius is still there? Either unlink heartbeat from TR or remove the TR requirement from Starstruck.
PS Did not know about Deafness, so thanks for that!

I regurgitated it to you because you already answered your own question but you've made it clear now that you don't understand what's going on.
There is no "silent terror radius". Your terror radius literally decreased to 0 when Oblivious is applied or when you are considered "Undetectable". So Tinkerer for example puts you in the undetectable state in which your terror radius literally drops to 0. Let's move on to a perk like Plaything. To survivors who are not affected, you do have a terror radius. To the survivors who ARE affected, you literally don't have a terror radius to that specific survivor. It's not there but on silent mode. It simply ceases to exist for that survivor as long as they are under the Oblivious effect.
I thought my position was pretty clear that what you're complaining about doesn't need a solution because it already works as intended
Again, the Oblivious effect is:
Survivors do not hear a heartbeat inside the Terror Radius.
They are INSIDE the terror radius. Where does it say reduced? Are you reading a different definition? Is there a different definition?
-
@RakimSockem said:
So it seems that you understand the issue of what you're trying to do so just.... don't do it. Terror radius perks are based off where a survivor can hear you from. Removing your terror radius means you no longer have a radius for your perk to take effect in. It's simply not a perk you should use on a Freddy
Thank you for regurgitating what I said without providing a "for" or "against" on the topic. As has been established by both you and I, I won't use Starstruck on Freddy. That doesn't change the fact that the terror radius isn't removed. It's there, just in silent mode. So if it is still there, perks should still work. I see no reason why it couldn't or shouldn't be that way and you didn't provide one either.

Oh so just because a Trapper is D tier it automaticaly means it is virtually impossible to get 4k,
no way in life and death will he ever be able to get 4k,
4k with trapper is so hard you are lucky to get one....
Yeah right.
I proved that Trapper is a weak killer. You refuse to akncowledge that evidence, so you're just trolling. Btfo and gtfo.

Mad Grit and Starstruck are your best friends.

Had one last week, Meg with wallhax. Ran away miles before I got to her gen even without being in line of sight. No, she did not bring spine chill. I was on Meatplant with permanent EW Tier 1 Myers and I would constantly scan for her because I knew something was fishy. I knew when I was downstairs and she walked directly above me and started T bagging and pointing. She still got wrecked tho :D

As far as I know, everyone is at least a little bit noob when they start playing any game,
but if you have 500 hours you should be at least slightly improving if you actually are trying to improve,
I could expect some of these people that whine about having to camp could have over 1000 hours in the game,
what do you say than? That you need like 2000 hours to be good?
Or that some people just need more time? Nah they are bad, end of story, they try the easier option which is to complain to make the game easier for them...
You have to be trolling. Let me put it this way: If Otz went up against people at his level, do you really think he would 4k with Trapper? There are bad killers. There's no way around it. There are multiple tier lists saying Trapper is a bad killer. Don't believe me? Here's your boy literally D-listing Trapper. End of story.

Oh no, don't bring this reasoning in,
because this means what you are saying is:
"I'm bad therefore the killers should have instadown basekit and pop goes the weasle that kicks all generators everytime you break a pallet"
You used the pinnacle of the DBD player base as an example. You're expecting a noob to play like that? Get real. By that logic, Wraith should have never been nerfed for stomping noobs. Maybe those survivors should've just been good to begin with. What do you say to all the people crying about Nurse? Do you post a YT link of a Nurse losing with 0 sacrifices just to say "See, she's not OP." Literally ROFL.
-
Just play with your sweaty friends and stop crying. Alternatively, BHVR can add voice chat for survivors to help a bit.

Hahahahha, that is just excuses bad killers use to justify camping
Is this your "weak M1 killer" you were talking about?:
You're using a guy who's job it is to play and be good at DBD as your reference? Dude has over 8k hours, safe to say he has a good understanding of survivor mechanics and play styles. Of course he's going to do well, even with a bad killer. What a bad attempt of a "well explain THIS".
-
All hexes need a buff.
-
No. They don't have enough longevity. Personally I feel like Killers should have a dedicated hex slot. That way killers don't feel like they wasted a perk and survivors can't complain about full perk builds.
-
get good
-
Don't play fair. Camp/Tunnel, become basement bubba. Remember, SWFs don't play fair, why should you?

I'm just gonna say I play mostly pinhead, a glorified M1 killer with weak antiloop and I don't feel like all killers need basekit buffs, maybe low tier killers like trapper but not every killer, especially with longer repair times
Imo it's already easier to play killer than solo Q, it's less frustrating overall, you get a lot more blood points even in bad games, camping/tunneling/slugging is obnoxious, NOED every game... multiple nurse/blight/huntress games in a row, like seriously it's already BAD
maybe focusing on fun factor is better than focusing on "higher kill rates"
Don't blame BHVR, that's the environment survivors created.

@HexPleaseLetMeSpeak said:
If ruin is just going to be the measly 100% regression than it shouldn't be a hex NOR should it be removed once you kill someone. There is literally ZERO reason to use ruin even in it's current hex 200% state. You lose it within a minute of the game because once people realize you have it, they just scour for it. And that's the perk... that's it.
It's only semi useful with undying and even then that extends it's lifespan from one minute to a solid minute and a half.
Make it just Ruin and not Hex: Ruin. And remove the idea that killers should be punished with the removal of a perk because they are doing their job and playing well. That is ridiculous.
100% regression is base regression speed, which is genuinely nothing. You need to let the gen regress 40 seconds just to get 10 seconds of progress off of it. It's useless.
This can be said about a lot of hexes. I stopped running them a long time ago because they lack longevity. I think they should get rid of hexes in general and turn them into regular perks. BHVR could increase their requirements for them to not be "broken" OR they could make it work like a secondary ability. Running 4 perks plus a hex might be gamebreaking but in their current state they are relatively useless and quickly destroyed.

My first game during the event I played as Plague. Got met with pure meta builds with New Parts and God tier flashlights (still got a 3K however but it was full of tea bagging and angry messages). So I decided to stop playing nice and brought out my Pyramid Head. I specifically have him made up to be harsh. Every meta is on my list.
They brought New Parts? Well I closed half the map for two minutes thanks too Corrupt Intervention.
They bringing flash bombs and lights? Tier three Lightborn Will sort them out.
They trying to dead hard? Hello Path if Judgement.
Decisive strike have you scared? Send them to the Cage of Atonement for fun.
Someone body blocking? Strike them down with Starstruck.
And as a final thing. Did one of them really not put on a cake so they can choose a map they have memorized? Go get some BBQ and Chili.
Am I being a sweaty try hard? Yes, but no one can say that they don’t sweat sometimes too out of spite.
Make them cry and get off the game for a good bit :)

Maybe they'll make it work like DS where you have to be hooked for it to activate.

Nah I only had like 30 percent on a gen. And he moried a feng on the other side of a wall from the gen I was working on. Once he finished the mori he went for me and I jumped into a locker. He hooked me and then he facecamped for some reason.
Baiting the others to build up EW? Idk, killers are weird.
-
I rubberband sometimes. I play on PS4 Pro with gig speed internet on a wired connection. It's not every game, maybe like 1/10 and it always happens at the most inconvenient times. Also, when a survivor gets unhooked, it causes my game to freeze for at least 3 seconds, I have no idea why but the survivors seem unaffected. That's been happening since 2020 for me.
-
Poor survivor.
-
BHVR doesn't like to talk about MMR because it is an imperfect system. It is based on sacrifices for killers and escapes for survivors. They turned off rank display because as you said, people were complaining about unfair matchmaking. I have heard about MMR lowering if you haven't played in a while but I guess that isn't true in your case. Now you know as much as we do.
-
When you chase the whole game but get no hits or hooks

You got flashbang and blast mine on. Maybe you blinded myers and pissed him off.

@Crowman said:
You have blood favor to block pallets. But we aren't going to see any mechanic to remove undropped pallets because they are resources to be used against the killer.
Blood Favor is a good perk, but it's also a hex, which can be deleted.
@RisingTron said:
Killer runs around the map breaking pallets, survivors get like 3 gens done cuz the killer isn't applying pressure to anyone and is just breaking pallets. "Wah, you filthy gen rushers."
Overcome, Lucky Break, Iron WIll, and Adrenaline become the meta. Survivors get hit once then hold W across the map since there's no point in trying to loop since there's no pallets. By then the last gens are done, the survivors pop Adrenaline, the game is over. Noed becomes even more meta than it already is because the actual game would be nonexistent & the killer will be desperate to secure kills. Noed gets cleansed, killer gets maybe 1k. Everyone has a boring time.
That wouldn't be every game. Some people like to experiment with different builds instead of running the same old meta. Survivors gen rush no matter what happens anyway so what's the difference?
Thanks for the replies everyone. The reason I got this idea is because I had a super sweaty/altruistic team that would go around preemptively sabotaging hooks. So it got me thinking, if they can sabo hooks to save a friend, shouldn't I be able to bust a pallet to save time? Food for thought.

There is always iri stone trapper. He basically negates pallets that have not been thrown yet.

It would be broken, killer movespeeds would universally need to be slowed down to compensate for this and would exacerbate the hold 'w' problem even more as every killer would do exactly what you described and pre-break the strongest pallets as they traversed the map.
Too many second chance perks at survivor's disposal for it to be broken
-
It's almost rank reset time, a lot of players on both sides like to mess around. Isn't it also a free play weekend?
-
Maybe if Wraith wasn't so vanilla it wouldn't be a problem. Most killers have both an M1 and an M2. Wraith does not. Don't blame the players for trying to make a worthless killer worthwhile.
-
Survivors better enjoy DH while it lasts. Once that rework hits, it's open season on them. Time to take off the training wheels and quit babying the bad survivors who can't loop.
-
This is premium gameplay right here. You were unlucky enough to get caught. Loop better I guess.
-
Why is complaining about facecamping still a thing? The year is 2022, we are approaching the 6th anniversary of this game. The only counter to a facecamping killer is gen rushing and getting out of there. Yes, it may suck. Yes, it may seem unfair if you are the one being facecamped. The best thing to do is to deny the killer a 4k by getting out of there asap. The killer will use your altruism against you. Don't play into it.
-
@TAG said:
They're already planning to make moris base kit in the nearish future.
Can't wait to see it!
-
At one point, survivors have to learn to play the game. Looping is a viable strategy. Juking is viable strategy. Do whatever it takes to not get caught. If you do get caught, well.. That hook has your name on it. If a killer can't get kills except by tunneling/camping, the response is always "get good". Well survivors, if you always end up on hook, get good.
