I get why everyone is saying karma would be if I got killed. Thing is it does work both ways. He was the one who was trying to throw the game to kill me and in turn would've probably got everyone else killed. In the end though the killer chose to chase him whenever they had the choice of me, who was injured and him, who was full health.
I would've been there to flashlight save him if he didn't try to get me killed. Thing is I actually looted a green flashlight near the exit after the last gen was done so if he was still alive I would've brought him back to it.
Put it this way, if you fall for it then it's your fault for not paying attention.
"I would've given him his item back after the match, when it no longer matters, trust me, I'm the victim here!"

Yes.

Tunneling means focusing someone out of the game. An example would be hooking the same Survivor three times in a row to ensure they're sacrificed, effectively turning the game into a 3v1 and thus an easy win for the Killer.
Camping means staying close to a hooked Survivor, yes. Meaning that a rescue is impossible without sacrificing someone else or taking hits.
NOED stands for No One Escapes Death, it's a Killer perk that activates once all gens are done, allowing the Killer to move faster and down Survivors in a single hit.
SWF stands for Survivors With Friends or Survive with Friends, depending on who you ask, which is sort of self-explanatory.
Face Camping is when the Killer literally stands in front of the hooked Survivor, something you'll mostly see Killers that can down Survivors fast do, such as Bubba, since he can simply ready his chainsaw for any poor soul that might attempt the save.
DH stands for Dead Hard, a perk that allows a wounded Survivor to dash forward.
Slugging is when the Killer refuses to hook Survivors for one reason or another, turning them into slugs. Cute, I know. It can be done for a variety of reasons, from spite to tactical advantage, as having multiple Survivors downed in such a way gives you momentum, it's something you'll see on Nurse/Oni and Myers and the like.
Though the most important lesson is that all of these terms are used very liberally. In other words, for an angry Survivor every single Killer is tunneling, camping and slugging at the same time, even if that makes absolutely no sense at all.

Thank you, DBDude, we've all been waiting patiently for an update from you.

So when the hatchet spins like this and most if not all similar weapons irl spin like this (such as a tomohawk), less risk throwing wrong and seriously miss target, it actually does spin a full 360° while staying perfectly on target?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/WY253IJQX94E/polish-20210809-173122156.jpg
Now, I'd suggest trying some weapon throwing out because not only is it quite fun but you can also see that if you threw a weapon such that it were to spin 360° in the air, it would also never be able to consistently hit a target directly in front of it like the hatchets do.
There is, therefore, absolutely no reason for the hatchet to have a beachball shaped hitbox when a very squashed cylinder works perfectly.
Lmao, Imagine not being able to spin axes 360° degrees in all direction at the same time in real life.
You just have to practise more.

If I remember right, as answered in a similar thread, this has very little to do with Behaviour, as it is a government tax sort of a thing, and those change from time to time, especially with services such as this.

I genuinely wish someone believed in me as hard as FNaF fans do in this chapter, despite of everything.

It can't be broken, if nobody can tell, right? I understand the reasoning behind the hidden ranks, I really do, but given how shady and utterly incompetent Behaviour has been in the past, I find it difficult to trust them. There's nothing easier than hiding ranks, changing few things behind the curtains and calling it a day and I'm concerned that's exactly what will happen, now that we can't hold them responsible.
-
When do you usually play? Nothing has changed for me personally. During the day it's mere seconds for a Survivor queue, as the day progresses things get more equal, until Killer queues are instant.

It's safe against a survivor who knows how to loop vs a 7 feet tall m1 Killer (Tier 1 nemesis)
Correction, it's not safe against a good Nemesis.
For real, that's like the only thing he has going for him besides Zombies giving you info every once in a while.

Okay look at the like to dislike ratio
Why would someone watch a video on a subject they don't care about? If that video ever showed up on my homepage, I'd ignore it completely. No dislike from me, but that wouldn't mean I didn't dislike it.
So basically, there's no way to prove you wrong. Big brain stuff.
As to why people demand it so much? I guess a mix of nostalgia and the fact it was a big sensation for a while, even though I never really cared for it. I mean there's Trickster, something I'll never understand myself, but it's there for people who are into that style, for some reason, and that's cool for them. Might also be due to the fact that people who are into FNaF are passionate, as it's clearly a rather passionate community. People identify and invest themselves into all kinds of things and not all of them are easy to justify, nor need to be for that matter.
-
I'd argue that the main issue is, that the lawsuit has ended far too recently for ol' Jason to be ready and finished to go. I'd give it a year.
Also I am sitting in the first class of the Hellraiser hype train and I cannot be helped.
-
I've played around eight-ish hours in total split rather equally between Killer and Survivor.
Killer has been rather strange, any high tier Killer I've touched made the games downright easy. But whenever I'd decide to mess about with Clown, or any other low-tier Killer, I'd get some incredibly good loopers that wouldn't waste a pallet, usually had at least one friend with them, would efficiently gen tap and all that. Though I'll say that this has made my Trapper games a ton of fun, as I've been consistently winning due to the fact that skilled Survivors tend to get overly cocky and fall for the simplest tricks.
My Survivor games, I can't really say I've enjoyed. While I really focus as a Killer, I generally mess about as a Survivor, meaning I usually get myself to Rank 1 every month and then drop to 4ish or so when I decide it's time to have fun. Which maybe explains why my teammates have been utterly useless, besides few exceptions. Afraid of gens, focusing on all the wrong things, wasting resources, missing skill-checks and all that. On top of that, utter majority of Killers heavily camped, to the point where I had to pull out my dusty decisive strike, which I haven't done in ages.
Naturally, this could all be mere bias, as I've not played enough games to properly test things, but so far I'm not too happy.
-
Also, that reminds me, not sure if this has been mentioned, the Devs have said something about a unique hooking animation/interaction for a Killer in the past, yes?
Hooks play a rather important role in the Hellraiser franchise, often utilized to hold the victim in place, or simply for torture. A bit of a stretch, I know, but it's definitely worth mentioning.

the game is too complicated? i reached rank 1 killer with blight in 150 hours??? are we talking about the same game? The survivor side is exploring the world of generators and sitting on a loading bar and hitting spacebar every now and then. not to mention chases just involve running around the same obstacle over and over till one guy gets caught.
So wait.
Is the game easy or did it take you entire 150 hours to reach Rank 1? I'm confused.

It does, so does BBQ, so do offerings. Which means it's entirely possible to do this challenge in a single trial.

See you next week.

Okay, I've watched game number two, here's some thoughts.
Not only did it take you a very long time to find the first Survivor, due to the fact you've moved rather inefficiently, but when you finally find one, you start chasing them across the entire map, letting them take you straight into your Corrupt Intervention and worse than that, right into the shack. That single play has cost you tremendous amounts of pressure, because I am 90% sure if you even looked towards the two gens on your right as you decided to chase her, you'd see Survivors there and thus could pressure them all at once. You spot her around 2:30 and it takes you an entire minute to down her and the only reason you do actually down her, is because she plays extremely poorly and runs far away from all the pallets.
The entire following chase could've been much shorter if you played with your red stain by moonwalking around that loop, you were brute forcing it until the Survivor, once again, made a mistake and went down because of it. And then, out of all the gens you could've popped, you pop the one that has barely any progress on it. You should've realized that they'd be sitting on gens while you were chasing her, seeing as they let their teammate die, at which point both gens were either going to pop at the same time, or you were going to luck out and pop one of them. In either case, you're getting far more value by not wasting time, and the pop, on a gen that's been barely touched.
The next chase, since you were getting blinded, you should've kicked the pallet during the blind. No harm in that. And I really don't know what was that hesitation at 6:25. You also seem to be too focused on hitting Survivors with the tentacle, take your left clicks, it's okay. Save the tentacle for hits you couldn't get otherwise, like pallets, windows and the like. At 8:30, if you actually watch closely, you can see her pretty easily moving towards the right, yet you still got juked - Even without seeing her, it would've been silly of her to move to the left, as it'd give you a free hit. And if she did go there and you moved right, you'd hear the coughing.
That hit around the table at 10:04 was pretty good, precise range, to the point where even a dead hard gamer wouldn't have guessed it.
I don't think much needs to be said about the basement situation. I would've chased while counting to 12, if she makes it to a loop or a window, drop the chase, if not then drop her and go for the other hook while keeping an eye on that 60 second DS window.
Also, practise looking around when you down someone and you're in the "hit cooldown" window. Could've been very useful when you downed that girl around the gate, just to give yourself an idea of what's going on around you.
After the last unhook, it would've been better to think about the fact, that she will not make it to the gate in 12 seconds, seeing as she's body blocking, all you had to do was count, scare her teammates off and take the DS gamble.
-
Wait, you guys don't run Monstrous Shrine every game?
-
Are people like OP just not used to paying attention to sound? I never play Killer without headphones and rarely do I do so as a Survivor, but seriously. Wraith's chrrlshsrshcshcshrshcshcshs can be heard from a mile away, just be mindful of pallets and you're ok, it really isn't that difficult.
Now, could his addons use some changes, now that he is pretty okay without them? Sure.
-
Flip-Flop, Power Struggle, Tenacity and Unbreakable.
-
Stop feeding the troll, please. Let us have one thread for hilarious tinfoil theories.
On that note, do you guys think that folks at Behaviour read these threads during their lunch breaks to have a laugh? I know I would, because the thought of Springtrap on that one image being just an accidental positioning of crows and rocks is beyond funny, given how much attention it has gotten.
-
Pathetic.
-
There's something so hilarious about supposed adults feeling superior and complaining about "13 year olds" ruining their game.

I really appreciate you initiative, but this game doesn't deserve this kind of our efforts.
Man, three patches to fix a character power? What are they doing honestly? Is there anyone working on this game? I can't believe it.
Well, the good news is, that I've just checked the Bug Reporting section of the forums and this particular bug has already been reported, several times actually.
So hey, there's that.
-
Take the initiative. Be the change you want to see in the world! After lurking the forums for ages, I've made an account just to complain about Clown's bottles being bugged, since nobody else was doing it, and it only took three patches!

- Fixed an issue that caused The Executioner's rear to be too flat

I think the most important thing to note, is that it's easy to perceive anything and everything as toxic, if you're in a bad mood or simply are just expecting poor sportsmanship.
Though I will admit that this game does have a fascinating power to lure in BIG GAMERS that just couldn't cut it in CS:GO/Dota/Siege and thus they've made it their life. Never seen anything like it.

Do I want something better than what we have right now? Yes, definitely. I think anyone can see the very clear flaws.
Do I think an MMR solution is fitting for a casual game that, for some damn reason, tries to be competitive, one that's heavily RNG on top of that? No, definitely not.
