So, let me get this straight:
tunneling, camping and slugging are perfectly legit and fair tactics, but saboing the hook, body blocking, flashlight and pallet saves, ds, power struggle, flip flop etc are not?
Ah, yes. The endless flip flop threads we get daily are truly tiresome.
Remember to stretch before reaching.

Personally, I don't even injure Survivors anymore, that way I get to counter Iron Will, Dead Hard, Borrowed Time and even Resilience.

Leaving when the gates are open.

When you're opening the basement chest and the Spirit decides to rap battle you.

Mmmm, I don't think its as bad as you make it out though. I mean the only thing for progress is leveling characters. I can get a P3 killer in roughly 4 days if I just grind for it.
For reference, I only really cared about Killers when I use to play and I had roughly 4000 hours and had nearly every Killer P3. Of that time, most of it was me just learning the game really and playing really inefficient for my first 1000 hours and it was my first account.
In theory assuming you were using BP perks I would think it would only take 2000 - 3000 hours for all killers. So roughly 4000 hours to 6000 hours if you knew what you were doing when you started the game. I suppose this sounds like alot, but I don't think so in general. Although maybe for DBD that is alot for the same gamemode.
So it's not as bad as it seems/sounds, but it'll take up to 6 000 hours? Come on, dude.
-
That sounds way too practical so I doubt it's ever happening.
-
The main issue is that you're trying to P3+50 all characters, obviously. While there's ways to make that process faster, you're still looking at THOUSANDS of hours. Yes, thousands.
As to how to speed up the grind? I imagine your mains are P3+50, meaning they're likely to have most, if not all of the perks. In which case the answer is Killers with BBQ and Survivors with Kindred/WGLF/Borrowed Time, that's it. That's all.
-
They can't keep getting away with this!

You know what must be done.
-
- Spirit's bugged and nerfed.
- Accessibility - A 115% Killer with a power that merely adds to the fact, unlike Nurse/Spirit and so on.
- He's fun.
- He's pretty strong with a very comfortable learning curve, that also feels satisfying.
- The growing popularity of streamers such as LilithOmen.
- The impending doom of SBMM.
- He is no longer a midget in first person.

bust out 6 gens
Wut?
Sometimes seven.
-
Ace players are the most chaotic beings in existence.
They'll either bust out 6 gens, rescue 5 Survivors, open three exit gates, while looping you into retirement, or die instantly at the start of the game.
-
An important thing to remember, is that the sole existence of Dead Hard dictates how chases go, especially when it comes to higher level play and faking/greeding pallet drops, which speaks volumes about just how strong the perk is.
I'm willing to agree that most players don't get the most out of it, but that doesn't mean that the perk isn't powerful.
-
It'll take 0,1 seconds before people start blocking good players to make their games easier.
-
Yeah. People are focusing too much on the negatives here, understandably so in a way, while forgetting that this takes tools away from Killers that decide to take it easier due to a DC or suicides. It's one of those issues this game will always suffer, Killers viewing everyone as a tryhard SWF and Survivors never even considering the option that the Killer is just messing about.
Not once did the current system prevent me from tunneling someone annoying out, but there's been countless times I've accidentally Killed someone, when I could've gone for someone else to make the game a bit more fun for everyone.

Killers that have time to kick gens are Killers that don't normally need to kick gens.
That's... painfully correct.

And how exactly do you detect "stretched res" Monitors come in all sorts of resolutions. People like their monitors in certain resolutions.
Can you definitively say "oh yea. They stretched their res, and it was for DBB !" No you cant. It could be that they just like a certain resolution on their monitor
Yeah, bro. You've no idea how much I love 1080x1080. It just looks better! Screw them pixels I say, we gotta save some for future generations.
For real though, there's resolutions that are somewhat acceptable and then there's resolutions that are absolute bs. Behaviour needs to deal with this one way or another, because it's straight up cheating.

Let us know how things go. I always wondered what happens in cases such as this one.

Take my reddit gold, too.

These two released mere minutes ago and they're positioned right next to one another.
I mean. Damn.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but fire up is 20% at max stacks. Picking animation is 3 seconds by default, thus going down to 2.4 seconds at max stacks. Flashbang detonation is 2 seconds, meaning that even with best possible timing, you're still 0,4 seconds at best too early. Plus, better than using a Zombie would be to let mending time run to 0, easier to time that way.

What is a stealth outfit? I played the game only with nvidia freestyle. I can see clear as day with my settings. I once played it without and could see like nothing, much difference and i hated it.
Weak.

I usually enter matches with absolutely zero expectations and at least one fun perk, lately I've been addicted to flashbangs. So I just try to make the most of it, do something cheeky etc. It really helps. Though If I see that everyone's trying their best I'm happy to match that, but the lower my expectations are, the more fun SoloQ is.

That's interesting. I don't really watch their dev livestreams, or anything. Is that where they showed some plans for the next 2 years?
If I remember correctly, back in 2018 they have stated that they'd like to support the game for at least five more years. If they've said anything else on the matter since then, I've no idea.
-
We know for certain that there's, at the very least, two more years of full Dev support, if I remember right. So four years at worst? Then again, TF2 has been abandoned for a while and the community is still there, so it really is anyone's guess.
-
That's a pretty solid build, honestly. I prefer Bond over Kindred, since it informs you about the closest gen you can coop on, who's bringing the Killer towards you and just where the hell did that one Claudette go.
If Sprint Burst is something you're used to that's great, for me it's Lithe these days, something I can pull out mid chase to give myself some space. Quite a few Killers will straight up give up on you when you Lithe away through a good window, plus it also allows you to make some decent plays when you're trapped in 50/50 pallet situations. And it's also not Dead Hard, so you get to feel better about yourself for using something else.
I rarely get that much of a use out of BT, since Killers either respect the timing or face camp in which case you might as well gen rush, so were I to really aim for pips I'd probably add Detective's Hunch in there instead, because there's always that one Ruin that spawns in the strangest of places, plus totems do count towards pips. Alternatively you can always go for the ol' reliable Iron Will, or even Windows of Opportunity.
Throw in a medkit and you're good to go, honestly. I remember that the first time I got to Rank 1 as a Survivor, I actually did it with really fat medkits and Botany Knowledge.
Obviously, these are just ideas from my personal experience, we all know that you can always just slap on DH/DS/Iron Will/Unbreakable or Spine Chill or BT and be a real meta gamer. But that's kind of boring.

To put my opinion into perspective one of my favorite maps is the suburb Halloween map. I love the multiple buildings and floors, it makes for interesting chases that don't just feel like your running forever, or have nowhere to go.
Hope you're ready.

Damn, I guess I've missed the last Blight meeting where we collectively decided, that's right every single one of us, that we'll play like this.

An m1 killer with the ability to have no TR whenever she wants, addons that make her crouch speed fast enough to gen grab survivors. Addons that make her dash fast enough to reach the opposite side of a T&L before a survivor can even vault a window. Let alone that she can use her power to fully ignore loops on quite a lot of maps. Bouncing off a pallet? Bouncing over a wall? Dashing through a window? All possible with Pig.
Even ignoring all that, Pig is an m1 killer with a long dash. Myers is just an m1 killer, no dash.
I mean yeah, but Myers has the ability to straight up delete someone and I feel like that in itself is strong enough to place him just a tiny bit above Pig.
-
The other day I watched Otz who was trying to make a point with NOED. The plan was to face camp a Survivor and then collect free kills with NOED in order to showcase just how poorly Killer can play and still succeed. After four games of Survivors literally suiciding to a face camping Trapper, Wraith etc. to rescue one person, he sort of gave up and changed things up.
I used to feel obligated to save the hooked person, but if the Killer is genuinely just camping them, my desire to deny kills by rushing gens is simply greater than the need to go for a save these days. At least most of the time.
-
Pig.
Myers can be made consistently viable with addons, while Pig with addons is still just an M1 Killer with heavy RNG.
-
Would love it. Especially since it'd likely give them some time to work on bugs.
-
It wouldn't work for several reasons, the first few that come to mind are:
- SWF would benefit from this greatly, as they could just sit on gens while someone's hooked without feeling any pressure.
- SoloQ would feel even worse to play, as you'd be harmed even harder by bad teammates.
- You would need to change several perks and deal with baby suicides on first hook.
-
Oh, I've a few ideas.
As for Amanda:
Hire me anytime Behaviour.
-
Just for you, I screenshotted a bunch of threads that are right beneath yours as of right now, just as they are so you don't accuse me of cherry picking. Out of the ten threads that managed to fit into a single screenshot, six of them are dedicated to complaining about the game, I even went as far as to mark them for you, since you somehow struggle on your own.

Raises the question of why bother having it if they're not going to make it worth aiming for.
Eh. I'm happy it's there for the completionists and for those who prefer the blood stained skins. It doesn't take away from the game and it also gives some players out there motivation to play and that's great. I know I'm never doing it though, the grind is, or rather was, unbearable as is for me.
-
Depends on a lot of factors. Generally speaking, I'll only do so if I know I can either get a pallet out of it within a very short period of time or a hit due to them greeding the pallet. Obviously, gen positions, health states, the Killer I am playing and so on play a lot into it.
-
I believe there's a small increase in rarity, but it has been made incredibly tiny on purpose, as to not make players feel that P3 is something they ought to aim for.
-
I don't think the ease of implementation would be the main issue. Rather, it would make balancing, which barely exists as is, even more of a nightmare.
-
Oni is a Gopnik?!
-
A Survivor cannot adopt Victor, since his birth certificate has been lost to the ages.
For real though, the gate will simply become blocked and you'll be stuck until you get him off.
-
How were they modding? What were the signs? What made you think that?

Pretty sure this has been banned by the Geneva Conventions.
