Hey it is you again. How are you doing? Are you still on your high horse with your superior intellect? I've been missing your biased opinions. Like you've been going around forums telling gen speeds are fine and destroying Billy is fine. Do you have anything more you could share with us from your infinite wisdom, oh your holiness?
Stop you're tunnelling him

Rancor Roulette builds can be a blast 😂.
Someone on here mentioned using rancor with furtive chase and nemesis and I thought myc would be nice with it as well, although I imagine about 50 streamers have already thought that one up 😁 like pass the parcel but funner

Can confirm as a newer player, this is how I see it. 👍
I'm just getting sick of this increasing trend that learning each killer should involve the amount of time and effort you might put into a master's degree, while survivor gameplay remains pretty stale and basic (no hate to survivors, I've never seen anyone even ask for all the handholding that gets put in).
-
Spirit is nuts, you can run pretty much anything on her. I go for all-hex or rancor roulette. Monitor can be counterproductive, smaller terror radius means they can tell you're phasing from further away.
-
Like with the nurse the answer seems to be "well if you were already an expert with this killer then you should be fine. Although if you're not and had any interest in learning them, don't"
-
I was one of those who said wait til the PTB and I stand by it. From what I've seen now so far, the nerfs look excessive, the addons seem largely useless and any interesting stealth effects you might be able to use from some of those add-ons will probably be negated by the warcry, which going by recent events (trail of torment) was probably the point.
Waiting to see for yourself doesn't mean just blindly accepting whatever.
-
So what's the point of the new version? I don't play bubba so I'm not sure how it would be beneficial in any way.

The question is if you hear Billy's warcry at the start of sprint if you can't hear the chainsaw. If you hear a warcry and no chainsaw, you know it's something like this. Given BHVR's recent attitude towards 'knowing something is happening' as exhibited in Trail Of Torment, I assume you can.
I'd forgotten about that. It wouldn't surprise me if the warcry is a mapwide noise either.
-
Muffler w/ tinkerer tho
-
Killer is the more fun one for me, even if it's more liable to stress me out. As survivor you're much more dependent on all the other players for it to be a good experience.
-
Sorry for 🥔 quality but my friend's first postgame chat after he switched to pc
But yeah this is definitely good and normal, it's just a multiplayer game bro don't be such a snowflake etc etc
-
Should probably also

It's true that you can still manage to mix and match the cosmetics in such a manner that it looks actually good. But for the most part, her outfits look weird if you mix and match them. Yours looks really good. But many combinations are still horrible. I believe that's why the devs give her so little outfits.
I enjoy the very badly dressed hags too (when I actually see a hag that is) like that lettuce hair on literally anything, it's superb.
-
Look at how nice + synchronised my hag looks tho. All from different outfits.

Strognly agree with you. However, the game before used to be a lot darker, and Claudettes were able to hide ANYWHERE isnanely easily.
Maybe we should let the killers have flashlights too?

Would angel be the killer??
Glory. And she should be correspondingly OP
-
I should've thought of that :/ I just put down skifree yeti
-
Ormond and haddonfield offerings are bad but have you ever had full blendette squad with yamaoka?
-
If someone runs into your face after being unhooked you must hit them immediately instead of waiting out the slightly obvious BT
-
I had someone in my swf group who really liked farming. As in genuinely enjoyed it. She left the group after an argument that came about from us not wanting to farm with her in kyf.
-
Dislike. I would've grabbed at least one Cheryl outfit if I could combine them but I'm just p3ing her instead. No combos, no deal
-
I'll be the token optimist and say 1mil
-
rip. when it's that bad I usually message the killer something nice afterwards.
-
Accidental adept, nice!
@tactic said:
Yeah that’s one fear I have when farming: survivors not realising I’m not trying to kill them.
It’s almost always some David or Bill who goes straight to loops without even looking behind them, or just sprint bursts away
Some won't trust you but if you chase down and drop them until they break out your grasp they usually get it.
-
Afk wraith probably
-
Had an 'interesting' afk wraith experience the other day. Wasn't completely afk, because I found him using spine chill and his snarling and interfered with him for a bit until he uncloaked, took a swing at me, recloaked and flounced off somewhere else, so not completely afk I guess. I did my share of gens, totems, went chest-diving, and was next to an exit gate when the last gen fired so opened it and left.
After that I went to go boil the kettle and came back, hit the spectate button (I was gone about 20 seconds max) and I don't know how my team managed it but noed was up and all three of them were on the ground. I hope there were some lessons learned from that but probably not.

Okay, I don’t see many people talking about this so I’ll add my own opinion. We know there is going to be a universal buff to killers soon, in the form of a slowdown for survivors at the start of a trial to prevent gens getting done quicker at the start, and maps are getting smaller.
Billy is a powerful killer at the moment, he never needed old ruin and can demolish a team within the first minute of a match. If we were to add the start game slowdown to the game, he would be very overpowered along with Spirit and Freddy. Not to mention that maps are getting smaller so all killers can traverse maps quicker now.
If I remember correctly, they didn’t give Freddy his gen teleporting power at the start of the game because they didn’t want it to feel like he spawned next to them and found a survivor right away, yet that’s exactly what a good Hillbilly can do AND at the same time instadown them.
Lets at least wait until the PTB to start deciding on this mechanic though, yeah? I for one think it’s going to be great not having to be stuck around a car loop for 3 minutes while a Billy revs back and forth until I make a mistake.
We don't know the nature of the early game mechanic yet at all, whether it'll be a buff or a slowdown etc. It wouldn't surprise me but it's still just speculation at this point.
Agree with you otherwise
-
You've been told of their counters, you can either start trying them for yourself or just keep stating that they're OP
And contrary to popular belief saying a killer is op, broken and uncounterable on the forums doesn't lead to them getting automatically nerfed. People have called wraith and clown OP on here before, so you're just going to have to learn to deal with them.

*Killer main will agree with you.
If it isn't fun for you adapt.
When I go against a plague or freddy with slowdown addons I ADAPT, I dont complain about it.
I play more survivor and I don't have a problem with him apart from instasaw. I don't think the changes will have that much of an impact either but I'll wait for the ptb
-
The devs really don't care if you camp or tunnel or mori survivors, and an increase in things that already happen plenty is likely to go unnoticed by them or by the survivors.
What killer are you going to use anyway? If you facecamp with bubba they'll probably think you're protesting his changes if anything.
-
They kinda set a trap for you billy mains. After infectious fright got buffed, it became meta on him instantly and enough billies switched their playstyle to trying to get everyone slugged at the start of the match to justify toning down his snowball potential. All part of a larger plan...
(I'm just having a tinfoil hat day don't mind me)
-
I'm gonna call her other iridescent addon rn
Iridescent mp3 player
A mysterious electronic device that couldnt have existed in the Huntress' time. The melodies within open the listener's mind to possibilities
- hatchets can no longer down survivors, will instead apply deep wound
- slightly increases movement speed
- slightly increases charge time
- successful hatchet hits apply the oblivious effect for 30 seconds
- changes the huntress' lullaby to All-Star by Smash Mouth
"I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed" - Unknown, possibly Benedict Baker
-
It'll make me more likely to play both killers. Billy bc I knew they were gonna change him at base so there was no point in bothering to learn him, bubba for obvious reasons.

I don't know why you think this is a good thing. the only thing that will come of it will be instasaw backrev billy. hf with that boosted kid.
There's no way they're not getting rid of instasaw addons too.

What do you make of the billy nerf?
-
How is lightborn a nerf??
Almost impossible to blind is becoming completely impossible to blind with added aura reading
-
They're usually very easy to counter. Even without a wall around, if you suspect or know there's someone with one nearby once you've downed someone, go and stand over them for a second and the most eager ones will try and get into position. If nothing, just change direction, pick them up and hope for the best. If you want to be really sure, leave them slugged and have a quick look around.

It can already happen. A survivor will be medium or slow vaulting a window and I'll swing and miss.
I guess I've been lucky, have had a lot of BS with grabs though.
-
I'll wait and see how it is. But as much as I despise getting dedicated hits as survivor I think if I ever have my weapon go through a survivor and do nothing I'm done.
-
I already use lightborn but if it becomes semi-popular last second switching to torches might become more popular as well.
Which I'd dislike more as a survivor - if for some reason I've queued 15 minutes to get a survivor game at night I don't appreciate it when my teammates all switch to flashlights last second and the match gets mysteriously cancelled...
-
Please tell me how the bubba 'nerf' is a nerf, because I can't see it.
Also demo isn't bad, he's average.

What? Undetectable provides no terror radius, so the lullaby from him is not there anymore or?
His lullaby and huntress' one aren't classed as terror radii so they can't be affected or removed. If they're awake they won't hear you coming though.

Tinkerer on Freddy with Ruin + Surveillance and he has undetectable noice.
I already use it on Freddy, the undetectable doesn't do anything if they're asleep though. But even with current tinkerer you can usually get over to the gen and put a stop to them finishing it in time
-
@xenotimebong said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/168240/so-new-tinkerer
I agree, it’s much stronger and it will be interesting to try it out. I like Tinkerer as it is now in concept, but unfortunately unless you’re playing a mobile killer you just can’t get to the gen in time more often than not. Making it so that you’re notified at 75% rather than 85% will make it more usable for actually getting to gens that aren’t right next to you. It could be fun paired with Ruin.
Even better, it's 70%
