Now before anyone disagrees with me. Hear me out first ok. Now, the reason I think DS should be nerf. Is because, when the killer picks up the survivors with DS. They are stunned for a brief moment. But they can constantly use DS. Sure there is ways around it. But why not use DS only once. I noticed this on the Rift Fragments part of the DBD wiki If a Player didn't finish all Challenges of a Tome and another one is released, the uncompleted Challenges of the old Tome won't award Rift Fragments anymore. I noticed something... At the start of the game(as survivor), you do your thing, maybe cleanse a totem you found, maybe open a chest... but eventually you go to the generators. Since people call the end game perk NOED a crutch for some reason people ignore Blood Warden and how great of a perk it is compared to NOED D:. Now I don't think either are crutches in fact I think the opposite of Blood Warden. NOED is easy to activate and gives you an instant down and a speed boost. Behavior has no idea when to stop with the nerfs, it takes them 1 month for a nerf but 2 years for a buff, And when they buff it's something really small, but when they nerf it's massive, every single time, first it was legion, then it was nurse, and now it's spirit, Collission removal, ok, fine! Hi! Just so we all know for sure we're talking about the same thing, here's what "Tomes" and "Levels" in the Archives are: Tomes have 4 Levels. Tome 1 is the currently available one. Level 1 was the first web you saw when the Archives released, and Level 2 was just released a few days ago. Tome 2 will come out with the next mid-chapter update. Instead of slowing the game down at the beginning how about we slow it towards the end? This scenario would only happen if killer gets X amount hooks before 4th gen is finished. (For now lets say 6 hooks). If there are 4 survivors left by the time 4th gen is done . All remaining gens are blocked and regress until there are 3 survivors left. So they want to nerf spirt ( and they do it as they do it with the nurse) but what about killers that have less than 2 kills overall and /or you don't see them very often. So Spirit recently got hit with a couple of nerfs. And I want to voice my opinion about it. So, first off. Spirit didn't exactly need to be nerfed. While she exceled in 1v1 situations, when it comes to the general flow of the game and in a 1v4, she was balanced. If they're pushing away from the idea of having exclusives in the game, why are a handful of exclusives still not being given out to everyone? There are multiple Twitch streamer cosmetics (shirts, masks, etc) that aren't on the list. And why are the seasonal event cosmetics being given out? Owners of exclusive items that later became easier to get got Artifact versions of the item. For example, if you got a streamer's cosmetic by using a code, it would look exactly like its counterpart in the Charity Case except for its unique purplish rarity that only you can see. These people litterally can scam you if they put a picture of: [Enter Limited Time Cosmetic Name Here] and put Dead by Daylight in the name. I swear i manage to blind the killer and i also got "Killer Blind" notification but the killer won't drop pickup survivor or didn't even stun at all. Since all exclusive skins are being given to everyone I have an idea for legacy since console players never got a chance to get them. I say every 500 hours you have in game you get 1 piece of legacy for a killer/survivor of your choice. You must have them prestige 3 before you can get any legacy on them. I understand WHY they are ditching events but I will really miss them. The Chinese New Year event was enjoyable, last years Halloween event was fantastic and having no Summer event was really disappointing. Future events are going to be more akin to this years Halloween event. Which didn't even feel like event. EDIT: I'm moving the number every day I get to try this experiment. Last edited 15/11/2019 So, I tried this in 52 games against tunnelers and proceeded to write notes: In 26 of them I stood still after being downed and the killer proceeded to slug me in 18/26 cause he thought I had DS. While I can understand the sentiment behind trying to prevent their resale, it bums me out that some cosmetics are being given out freely. I understand and am happy for those players who might not otherwise have had access to the cosmetics, but it has made earning them less special. For me in particular is the Huntress' Hound mask. I'll agree prayer beads is a busted as hell add on but I don't think Spirit needs nerfs beyond that. But the again bhvr loves doing things no one asked for or wanted like those nurse changes again her add on's needed changing but base kit. I'm a survivor and I admit I never seen the killers point of view until the forums told me to really play killer and see. Last Gen done, noed kicks in, noed broken go for the one who's hurt exiting and get them and bam got this gem. Then I look at Xbox message requests and holy crap. It's literally in the name. "EXCLUSIVE". If them devs want to fix the code black market, simple. Make an announcement that all codes are now deactivated. But giving away exclusives that people earned by supporting the devs and the game especially when it was even less polished is insulting. Some of these event cosmetics were a nightmare to earn. There are killer mains who will cause whatever character they choose to be meta to overperform. Changing the character's mechanics doesn't address the issue that many players have invested thousands of hours to become high skilled. They will just move onto the next character after the Spirit gets changed. at red ranks as survivor you can die and still pip, at least black pip most of the time as long as you where not a Dwight in a locker or get moried instantly.
