The disconnects are seriously getting out of hand and just ruins the fun for other people. I play on console, PS4, and it makes me so annoyed when someone DCs for the smallest reasons! Seriously, It was the right thing to do. Many people will disagree with me but this is how I see it: Solo survivors wont get to play with newbies and newbies wont get to be destroyed by veterans. Veterans will have a challenge once again and newbies will be able to properly learn how to play the game. And about those wait times... This players in this game have a serious behavioral problem in over using the quit match option. Sometimes rl happens and you must leave a match to deal with something and sometimes you get angry and decide to quit and I do NOT defend the latter. So the devs new matchmaking system... it's... questionable to say the least. So far with this update I've gotten a Rank 2, Rank 15, and Rank 19 killer, and I'm in green ranks (Rank 10). Why am I getting trappers with one perk, when at Rank 10.10. I like the idea of making this perk not totally useless and in some cases actually hurt the killer. In my experience this sometimes causes negative effects by shuffling around where you normally would find survivors early. How about an added buff to this perk? New DS is now an anti tunnel perk and AMAZING for solo survivors, but Enduring completely eats it. While I agree in most scenarios that perks should counter perks, DS should be a free escape if you are in the 60 sec grace period after being unhooked. I think he should get some QOL changes, like being able to carry 2/3 traps by default. 'Cause you dont have time to waste against competent survs, I just had a game where I literally placed 3 traps and 2 gens were already done ,lmao. Jack the Ripper Simply put he is certainly a real Killer from the past which isn't exactly new to be used in this game. Leatherface being the primary example there. However, his background and story being what it is. He would almost certainly fit into the Dead by Daylight realm with ease.
