Idea for a New Killer
Jack the Ripper
Simply put he is certainly a real Killer from the past which isn't exactly new to be used in this game. Leatherface being the primary example there. However, his background and story being what it is. He would almost certainly fit into the Dead by Daylight realm with ease. He was notorious in his killings, was never caught, and just disappeared in the fog. That being said who is to say his disappearance wasn't due to the entity taking him. Now I wouldn't suggest him without some possible perks or abilities. So here is what was come up with after discussion with some friends.
Killer: Jack the Ripper
Power: Cloaking Fog - The Ripper cloaks himself with the fog he used to hide in whilst slaughtering his victims. The Ripper cloaks himself in a black mist and moves at an increased movement speed. The fog is visible but inaudible. The Ripper can see survivors and their scratch marks and upon leaving the mist receives a short stun, both slowing him down and clouding his vision. The Ripper can also run into his victims while cloaked and cause them to gain the hindered status effect, slowing their movement speed for a short time.
The Ripper's Perks
All seeing: You become obsessed with one survivor. Your knowledge on hunting increases your ability to find other survivors, after hitting your obsession the aura of all other survivors are revealed to you for 5/10/15 seconds. All seeing has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.
Puncture: Your Knowledge on the human body allows you to know the best way to inflict pain and injury on a survivor. After downing a survivor, that survivor will maintain the broken status effect for 60/80/100 seconds.
Dying Will: After the exit gates are powered, if a hooked survivor is unhooked, the unhooker will gain the broken status effect for the remainder of the trial.
