I said it was more of a question (read the title) but thank you for answering but yeah i knew it showed bubbles all match when every gen pops too but they are very accurate which makes it almost impossible to counter. it’s exactly what I thought it was, a counter free location perk when every gen pops and a free kill at the end that you don’t have to activate, it even shows the location to go and can be multi use too. Thank you 🙏😎👍
why are you posting this in bug reporting if its a question? This was a weird post to make

Might wanna check your internet mate, I haven't been validated through a pallet in a few days actually.
its the first thing I check, it's happening in games where I have like 30 ping, so i Just assume the killer is laggy and they get validated tbh
-
???? lag doesn't only affect killers. I've been getting bad frame drops on both sides.
-
I have a feeling this might be with the stranger things license leaving. Nancy also got a higher pitched voice and all their perks have been re named.

Lisa Garlands realization and transformation in Silent Hill 1... Cybils fate in the Silent Hill movie is also really sad.

Off the Record wants to know your location.
If that response wasn't clear... there already exists a perk that is essentially the Stealth version of Decisive Strike. Forcing Lucky Break into that niche makes no sense since it is already full. Off the Record might need a buff or two... but I don't think your suggestion is a good one.
true but Off the Record is like an anti tunnel version of Iron Will + Distortion, while Lucky Break is more of a anti tunnel version of Lightweight. Plus scratchmarks are a way bigger deal then sound when returning to hook.
I do agree though, maybe anti tunnel isn't the best course of action for Lucky Break, but since this perk is gonna give free escapes, its gotta be balanced accordingly, much like what happened to DS when it went anti tunnel with its changes.

Hmm, ok...
So now Sole Survivor makes OoO weaker as tokens are gained. Whereas before it made OoO stronger.
ehhh kinda 50/50. Object is really nice in a chase cause now that it doesnt have the terror radius restrictions, you both get wall hacks every 30 seconds. Sole survivor kinda cucks that but being able to stealth near the killer is nice. That effect gets stronger as more people die, to a point where the killer and you will only see each other on opposite ends of the map. But with the new lucky break and iron will, I think sole survivor + object will have some very interesting "bait the killer to an area then leave" potential.
-
This is common with all killers who can shorten a chase with their power/ or uses their power instead of m1s. Adept Plague is hard cause you dont gain chaser for infected survivors for example.
-
Your aura wont be shown to the killer, but you also cannot see the killer.
I was playing adept Laurie on PTB and someone died. I was sneaking past the killer and object activated, and because I was in the 24 metre range for 1 token Sole Survivor, the auras were not shown.

Instead we get crashes galore and hitches x5000, at least, I'm experiencing that, don't know about the others
im getting nooooooooooone of that lmfao Im sorry your dbd is blowing up

probably lol, but if you're being sacrificed, just wait the extra 5 seconds.

The first screenshot, it is going stretching through Cybil's head.
The second screenshot, it is stretching from Krampus's head.

3.5k hours on dead by daylight, primarily on survivor. I can't hit the overcharge skillcheck for the life of me. I always let someone else try to hit it or I go find another gen to m1 afk for 80 secs on if the killer is near the overcharged gen.
-
Thanks for reading lol
-
Quirks about this iteration of Decisive.
- Timer is infinite unless deactivated by the conditions above. Grabs are included to stop locker cheesing, and DS can fairly be deactivated if someone else gets hooked while you are off the hook. Healing is a potential deactivation condition but im a lil 50/50 on it if the previously hooked survivor heals up and then the killer finds them again without catching anyone else. Also @perks like Second Wind and We'll make it. I personally think it's fair to have Decisive deactivate on being healed to full health.
- While a killer can just continue to slug the Decisive user, with perks like Unbreakable and Soul Guard in the game, it shouldn't be as bad. If you reaaaally want to avoid this slugging situation, build your build around it.
- While potentially really strong in the end game, I still think it is fair to the survivor who gets off the hook to have a fighting chance. That survivor must also stay injured to keep Decisive, or if someone else gets hooked they lose it, so no crazy end game saves with the safety of DS
Thoughts? I wanna hear them all!

I have a PS4 Pro + 4k Sony TV. Actions are stuttery. This doesnt happen on my PC (Steam).
I think console players (im often included in this...bring on cross progression) need to come to terms with the fact that we are cash cows and nothing more to bhvr. PC issues are fixed instantly, console, they dont care, as long as the store is available for the $$$ then console can wait.
I'd love to see the store become inaccessible, you can bet that would be hot fixed the same day
Patches also take longer to get certified on console because of Sony/Microsoft. Not excusing the terrible frames but it is harder for console :/
-
bump^ same thing happened to me!
-
this is a really dumb post lol. The game has bad spaghetti base code so every bug fix or update will bring new bugs. Considering one of the anniversary quotes was that if Plague vomited on a school sign and it crashed the game, we are in a decent spot right now (minus the getting stuck at the hill bug)
Coding is hard, I have a lot of respect for dbd's developers. It's real hard.

I still don’t like the thought of it being forced onto us as a set. And I’m the type of person who barely switches the pieces around.
yeah, legendary skins aside, Im not crazy for locked sets either. IMO i'd prefer it if locked sets were only for legendary skins.

don't worry guys, next Legendary girl skin, theyll get one of the office girls to do the voice, cant cost but a few extra hours on the check and a release form, maybe a independent contractor bonus.
They will learn from this, they made tons of money and will adapt.
I hope!! tbh idk if I'll buy another legendary skin, it really depends on the character and if it changes voice/ gives them a different identity.
I have super high hopes though, and I really like the concept of legendary skins since our cast of characters can really grow :)

You can opt out of crossplay if you so choose. There'll be an option in the settings to turn it off.
Oh I have friends on PS4, I will definitely keep it on. My quote kinda sounds bad but imo the only group that might struggle with crossplay is console killers just cause of controller sensitivity/ FPS. But as a solo PC survivor, I will die for any console survivor I encounter.
-
ok but as if PC killers are gonna struggle against a console survivor in a chase. Console killer? well...
-
This was a concept for DS when it was getting reworked the first time. A lot of backlash though because DS will just become a free escape when games reach endgame.
Honestly imo current DS is ok. Free escapes will never be balanced but DS is in a waaaaay better spot then it used to be.
-
Devs confirmed it's not happening for every outfit, it happens for some more elaborate concepts where they can execute it without worrying about clipping with other pieces (Nea's new graffiti outfit having a hood for example). So these locked sets allow cosmetics to come out faster.
They will still release 3 piece separate outfits.
-
the general consensus is to avoid multiplayer games if you're trying to unwind, go play single player games if your health is really that poor. Trust me lmfao
-
Im now running we'll make it and Botany LMFAO thank you everyone for helping me understand this. My mind is blown.

WGLF says that David cherishes and protects the few friends he has left. I imagine he had a rough start when he first arrived but now he is probably one of the most loyal and protective.

I want at the very least a James Sunderland legendary skin for whoever. SH2 literally has no connection with Cheryl, PH is the manifestation of James.
PH's prestige 3 head description talks about how this version of pyramid head is an manifestation of Cheryl's guilt (most likely about the cult killing her dad to get to her) but i do agree with you. James would be an amazing legendary skin to have, and is probably imo one of the most iconic protagonists.

I've went through lots of blood webs and I haven't seen one of the anniversary items in there. Do they not come in the blood web? I have bought at least 25 of the ghastly gateau for one character alone. But haven't seen an item show up. Just wondering if this is normal or is something messing up on me?
They are just super rare. I got 1 medkit and flashlight through the bloodweb and that's it.

Anyone have a clue on this? Read lots of post and is still very unclear. Thanks!
They do not, the max healing speed bonus is 100. We'll make it will cap the healing speed. Running both just means when we'll make it is not active, botany will give you an extra 33%, but once we'll make it activates, it goes to 100 and caps. Hope this helps.
-
Doesn't soul guard only give endurance when you are picked up from the dying state? It wont be usable in the tank build or the support healer build.
-
It really shouldn't stay as merciless requirement. It should be changed to just 4k.

The Devs said they would like for there to be a completely different voice actress for the Lisa skin. It seems to me like they want the legendary skin to have a whole different persona, as if they were a new character so the chances are they will be changing the lobby name and character portrait in the future.
Bear in mind that this is their first legendary skin so they aren’t going to get everything right first try, it’s possible no one on the dev team thought of this idea and are taking notes of suggestions like this.
This sort of update probably won’t come for a while though, the devs are likely focusing their time on the anniversary event bugs and fixing issues with totem spots, gen locations and collision issues (there seems to be a lot of them in this chapter, even on older maps.)
very understandable, I've seen online of them talking about better features for future legendary skins. Hopefully Lisa gets included in the treatment
:( Im still gonna play as Lisa for every round with not tomorrow playing in the background!!

Oh yeah it’s a reported bug (the slowdown shouldn’t be there)
I’m more surprised the bug made it to live in the first place though
i mean bugs always reach live from ptb. If it isn't a gamebreaking bug, its getting in.
Also whoever was playing Clown on ptb instead of Pyramid head, respect.
-
ok so my two cents is I like DS the way it is, but it is always going to be strong, no matter what form it is. It's a free escape, lol how do you balance that?
but getting hit by ds wouldnt be an issue if getting hit by ds didnt cost you the game (at high ranks at least) look at the bigger picture yall.

The same "iF suRvivOrS canT loOp thEy cRy" mantra. If there is nothing a survivor can do in a chase what is the actual point of the game, which is focused around chases. Oni was broken on the PTB, because in a chase there at times was literally NOTHING a survivor could do. New Oni is still powerful and fun, but actually is fair for both sides.
Oni def feels a wee bit weaker then ptb but still very, very strong. I have been dominated by red rank killers easily with oni, and also had a super free escape because the killer doesnt know how to use him. He has a learning curve but imo he will be top 5 killers in the game.

No. There is 0 reason for Killers to stagger on a drop other than Survivors wanting yet more easy ways to win chases.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/849797#Comment_849797
Killers have never been nerfed as badly as Survivors?
Legion being made unplayable. Nurse being crippled. Spirit losing half, if not more, of her mindgame ability. Legion seeing more nerfs coming up.
But sure buddy; Killers have never been nerfed as badly as Survivors. /s
Spirit did not lose more then half of her mind game lmfao. she lost free hits with phasing due to collision and some reappearance speed on purples (along with prayer beads but those were lowkey broken). She is easily still one of the strongest killers in the game, the devs are getting a lil bit better at balancing.
also vault mindgame is gone but lol
-
DS is really good but its issue is also with bad teammates. If they made DS a true anti tunnel and it turns off when someone else is caught, what happens if Im unhooked late cause my team is inefficient? Why am i being punished for not being saved and someone else not being able to last long in a chase? DS 100% can be abused but it's one of the few saving graces us solo survivors need. Note: i dont use DS anymore mainly cause i stopped caring on how my games go, but DS really helped me stay in dbd when my teammates and occasionally the killer tried me.
-
Kate for being a free spirit and beautiful in general. Laurie for her personal strength and for surviving the night that changed her life, and fulfilling her duty as the babysitter.
-
Whispers entire purpose is to find a surv at the beginning of the game and at the very end. It's fine as is.
-
Michael is really fun, as he fits his character really well. Huntress and Billy are also really fun to face at high levels, leads to interesting games. Clown, wraith, Trapper, all the m1 killers are fun too.
I dislike spirit and Nurse. Spirit is doable but Nurse is usually unfun. Legion is changed so Ill have to fight them later when I can get on PTB.
-
I think MoM is fine, survivors only have perks to change up their playstyle, and the past couple of chapters have made fun meme builds, but nothing crazy viable. MoM is good. It also has requirements to meet, and a pretty nasty after effect once you eat the free hit and heal up.
Lets change up the meta. A perk that helps in a ton of scenarios and isnt limited by exhaustion? thank you BHVR!

Truly, the longer i play this game and test out all perks, the more i can see the intricacies of this game, and the more i come to realise the devs actually are incredibly good at keeping this game balanced. There are a TON of not so obvious uses/strategies with almost ALL perks.
I just feel that less and less of this community want to be adaptable as either survivor or killer.
^^
I have been having an insane amount of fun with Head On. With Quick and Quiet, I have an aggressive hiding option. Makes me also look at some maps in a new light
-
New DS isn't too popular to begin with. Lets see how it goes on live for a while before we make conclusions.
-
Jenn taught me how to loop and how to use my camera better at a loop. I tend to watch people based on their skill at the game, and Jenn can really hold her own in a chase.
-
Identity V (Mobile DBD) has kindred built in as a core mechanic, but survivors also have a -50% repair speed for the first 3 mins of the match ( survivors in that game have individual stats, so it off sets that..)
DBD could use some QOL changes, kindred built in would be nice.

All you guys are thinking is to punish the tunneling killers, but yesterday I got hit with two DS in the same scenario:
Surv 1 is hooked, surv 2 saves her,
I chase and 2-hit surv 2,
surv 2 is hooked, surv 3 saves him,
I chase and hit surv 3, BUT mid-chase I run into Surv 1, who hasn't healed or hid, or ran away. Obviously I down her, and eat DS immediately after. All this happened in less than 60 seconds obviously.
No enduring equipped, surv 1 gets away, surv 3 gets away too. Punished for no reason, or at most, punished for capitalizing on the other players' mistakes. Really made me think about equipping enduring on all my killers now.
If you all are going to ask for enduring not to work on the stun timer, then make new DS not proc if someone else has been hooked during those 60 seconds.
Very good point, but DS can be abused by SWF or hook diving. Enduring should affect the DS stun but the current under a sec stun is tbh not fair.
*I know its not good counterplay but DS does have a timer, slugging people in that scenario could have been wise if there is an obs in the game. These are all my 2 cents, Im happy though that I have been getting a lot of feedback from both sides!
-
My last note for now, DS has requirements to meet (being hooked) and a limited time window its active for. DS has a lot of counterplay to it now. But all that counterplay goes out the window if Enduring just deletes DS. If Enduring lessened the stun to maybe a sec or 1.5 sec, I would be fine with it. But it's literally under a sec right now and the killer can turn around and hit the survivor before the survivor can even move/ get out of M1 distance of the killer. I don't want Enduring nerfed but Enduring should have a "healthier" (thats a debatable word im using lol) interaction with DS or no interaction. A 3 sec stun is still not a lot for the survivor to work with but thats fine imo.
