I played a match there like an hour ago, against a trapper, it didn't end well of course. Such a beautiful map... everyone's favorite lol

Lmao were you in a team involving a Leon, an Adam, and a Claudette that ended in a 4K? 😂

  • Bubba is annoying to play as and against.

  • All of them were good imo. I just wished we could’ve gotten more maps for all of the chapters. We could’ve gotten a Dyer’s Island Map for the Blight and Felix, a map of the catacombs/France for Élodie and the Twins, and a neon light themed All-Kill map. Missed opportunities if they don’t at least try to make these three chapters get maps at some point.

I don't know honestly... They purposely made Laurie and Quentin that way so they didn't have to pay for the likenesses of those 2 actors. I really doubt they're just going to randomly decide to pay extra money to change their faces. The last time they renewed the licenses it was to make cosmetics for Myers and Laurie so hopefully we get some more.

That’s true. However, the guy that played Quentin even said he wished that his character would look a little more like him awhile back.

Although they are gonna be extremely difficult to get into the game

Some of these definitely could be, but who knows? We didn’t expect the Silent Hill Chapter and we got it. I may be too optimistic, but if we are getting Bill in Tome 7 and if we got Silent Hill, I think there’s a possibility for stuff like a Hellraiser Chapter, Sidney Prescott from Scream, and Nancy Thompson from Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • @PBlackII said:

Got bored, so I came up with up with some Hellraiser stuff and perks for shiggles.

    Hellraiser

    Pinhead
    Ability:
Hook Throw: Pinhead within range of a hook can throw it in a line from the hook towards a survivor. There must be no obstacles that interfere with the path. A successful hook will drag a survivor towards the hook prompting three difficult skill checks. If the survivor passes the skill checks then they break free but suffer injury or dying state depending on their status, otherwise they are dragged to the hook. (The hook will go towards a point along the center of the Pinhead's vision, charging the ability will increase the distance away from Pinhead; so for example, tapping would be 5 metres, but fully charging would be 20 metres.) The ability would have a 10 second cooldown.

    Perks:
From Hell: After 5/4/3 generators have been completed, the killer can spawn a hook onto the map.

Ultimate Pleasure: Survivors who see the auras of their fellow survivors are more deeply linked. Survivors within 12/24/36 meters of each other will suffer with their fellow survivors. A survivor will suffer injury if they witness another survivor being injured.

Hex: Your Desire: A Hex rooting its power on hope. While this Hex is active, survivors will perceive the Red Stain and the Terror Radius as though the killer were right behind them. The totem activates after 5/4/3 generators are completed.

    Kirsty Cotton
    Perks:
Rescue: Gain 3/5/7% movement speed when within 12/24/36 metres of a hooked survivor.Or Alternately: Gain 150% movement speed for 3 seconds when within 28 metres of a hooked survivor if not exhausted. Cooldown will be 60/50/40. Also get an unhook speed boost 5/10/15%.

Intuition: A supernatural bond links you to the killer. If another survivor is within the Terror Radius and you are outside of the Terror Radius, then the killer's aura is revealed to you. As the Killer's Obsession, this effect applies to a maximum range of 56/64/72 metres. Otherwise, it applies to a maximum range of 44/56/64 metres. Suffer exposed status for 90/75/60 seconds.

Savior: Saving a hooked survivor will grant one token. Each token will give the survivor a 1/2/3% movement speed boost with a maximum of 3 tokens. Tokens are lost upon being hit by the killer.

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I love this idea! Every perk seems to be great, a bit of a concern with Ultimate Pleasure, but these are all great ideas! 😊👍🏼

Why am I not surprised Sydney Prescot would be in this one

I love Sidney Prescott and while I’d love to see her in the game a lot, some people get very over the top on it. She still will be one of the most prominent Finan Girls I’d want to have in the game regardless though.

They should/could add a huge treehouse on the tree in the middle allowing for some interesting Balanced Landing plays. Also... It would make the map look more... Interesting.

I would love a map with a treehouse like that. It's a beautiful idea! They had something like that in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and I'd love for them to try to see if they can make it work in Dead by Daylight. Great Idea. :)

Honestly, Poppression is a better combo. Add Surveillance to Pop+Oppression and you get some of the best tracking, pressure, and regression all in one. I think Oppression could give a lot of value with impossible skill check Doc but Overcharge will only add to the gen you kick so the people working on gens get an Overcharge type skill check with oppression but a gen not being worked on will just regress and not have the skill check added to it.

What about Pop, Oppression, Overcharge, and Unnerving Presence all with Doctor? 😈

There is a theory that the black vale made some of the killers kill people for example:

Huntress: sending an elk to attack anna's mother

Spirit: Or make rin's father lose his job so the entity corrupts his mind so he can murder his daughter and wife

Doctor: Making herman carter enter the CIA program so he can experiment on specimens unsupervised

Plague: Sending infected rats into the city of babylon

Well this is just a theory i hope this won't become canon if it does.....i'll call my lawyer to sue BHVR

That’s an interesting theory. It’s a bit complex, but it’s very interesting.

  • @Bardon said:

As a new killer, I definitely get the feeling that there is a focus on making killers harder to play. The Billy nerf, ignoring long-running killer bugs like all the places where Nurse can't blink for some reason, Haddonfield... it certainly makes it feel like the object is to make things more difficult for killers. If they go through with the "No more Bloodlust" patch they tested it'll make things really difficult for a beginner killer - I get looped to the point where I have to break off as gens start falling all the time and saying "Get Gud" doesn't help when there's no opportunity to learn when you're massively outclassed both in skill and perk/addons from the survivors.

I fully acknowledge that it takes time to develop skills (and no, you can't just watch a Youtube video and do well against skilled survivors) and I can definitely say that the Matchmaking needs to be fixed as so many times I've faced a team of 3 red-ranks and one brown when I'm level 16-17. It's truly disheartening.

    YES! PREACH 🙌🏼

  • @ItzZane_ said:

I hope they give us other survivors i hate the idea of entity's cult

I can’t imagine this will be the only thing they’ll do. At most they’d have another 2-3 chapters of this and then they’d be done with it. Who knows, maybe they’ll do a chapter with two survivors again and they’d finish the Pariah’s Story that way.

  • @Pipefish said:

This goes at least back to the Billy rework in my opinion. They made Billy a higher skill ceiling with his overheat mechanic and add on changes. Next they plan to give Freddy more of a skill ceiling. Not to mention the mori nerf that gave bad killers a chance to at least do decent. Its getting harder and harder now for new killers to play and excel.

I ain't referring to veteran killers by the way. You all got ruin undying which is overpowered if you know how to play the game. However if you are a new killer I feel this game is becoming more and more unwelcoming. Or maybe its just me, what you all think?

I feel. I started playing last March (2020) and I struggle a lot with playing killers such as Hillbilly, Nurse, Huntress, Deathslinger, Blight, and others to a point where I just think that I’m just bad as killer. I’m okay as other killers but not good with certain ones. I wish they’d do something where it would help people like me be able to practice these “higher skill” killers so I don’t look like an ass trying to saw through a tree when I aim for a survivor.

  • @Jay_Whyask said:

I agree, I feel like distortion should operate similarly to stake out, gaining tokens when inside the killer's terror radius.

That’s interesting. I was thinking of having them just increase the tokens to 5 or 7 but honestly I feel like this is a cool concept too. 😃👍🏼

Is it just me that hates the multiverse thing? I liked when we though all characters were from the same universe with Bill being an exception.

The last Survivor introduced connected to Felix and Elodie disappears WITH the Dyer Island.

Intriguing. Anyone want to speculate who the other 3 would be? Lol

  • @turtlesforlife said:

I would be okay with that but I want at least 2 licensed chapters before going back to the pariahs, entity cult, etc because it's kinda better from a business standpoint also I hope that not all og chapters next year are focused on the pariahs

I’d be okay if they did a licensed chapter and then another Pariah story (w/a map this time ofc) and then rotated it like that until they finished the Pariahs’ storyline. We’d def need Dyer’s Island as the next map though with at least 2-3 other variations of it. I’d love an island map in the game. 😊👍🏼

I.e. the perks effect should additionally extend to the survivor that has that perk equipped.

Babysitter: A Survivor that has this equipped should also be granted 8 seconds of no scratch marks or blood trails when unhooked.

Breakdown: When a Survivor that has this equipped does a rescue, this should also break that hook.

Buckle Up: When a Survivor with this perk is in the dying state it should also show their own recovery state by the intensity of the aura up to a distance of 48m. If revived from the dying state both you and your rescuer(s) should also see the killers aura for 6 seconds.

Camaraderie: Should also work when within 16m of a hooked teammate in the struggle phase. Additionally, there needs to be one of those blue icons like Kindred that other survivors see on their HUD when you are hooked and in the struggle phase to let teammates know you have Camaraderie, and can coordinate activating the extra time.

Off The Record: should allow a survivor to grant another survivor they have rescued off the hook 80 seconds of 100% reduction of grunts of pain and aura blocking.

I can agree with Babysitter and Buckle-Up. But the rest seems a bit one-sided tbh. But I do agree that these perks should have benefits like these.

I just have to focus my attention on other things right now and get myself ready to fight. I’ll remain optimistic and hopefully I’ll be back here again in the not so distant future.

I mean, Everyone has SOME sort of reason with getting involved with Sidney. Maybe Jed could be a 2nd cousin to Stu or maybe an uncle that changed his name. He would have a right to be really upset since his favorite boy got "prime timed" as Freddy would say. They should really capitalize on Stu more and its sad that they just dropped the character and scrapped the ideas of him being in Scream 3. Just feels like Jed could tie back in to Sidney because of Stu.

I never heard about Stu and Scream 3. Do elaborate.

  • @eff said:

Considering that Jed Olsen isn't from the original scream universe and never met Sidney, it's kinda difficult. But I think that it's more than possible to expand the lore and make Jed (Danny) a fan of the Stab movies, making him another one of Sidney's stalkers and allowing to add her as a survivor 🤔🤔🤔 Idk, maybe many dbd fans are iffy about it, but I love Scream franchise and Sidney too much.

I love Scream. The only reason DBD fans are iffy of it right now is because of the Twitter Trolls who keep pushing everyone’s buttons about it. There are still many fans who’d love to have her in that also don’t push everyone’s button on Twitter 😂. But that lore could be interesting. Only problem with that idea was that Scream 1 takes place in 1996, and Stab movies in the Scream universe didn’t start until 1997 (seen in Scream 2). Jed Olson (DBD’s current Ghostface) was taken in 1993. I would love it if they were able to connect some lore with them though, it could relate to her mom as Sidney’s troubles pretty much started because of her mom lol.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

It's most likely something they're focusing on at the moment with expanding the lore in general.

Seeing the whole ''Entity Cult'' thing expanding with the latest backstory of Élodie, i can imagine that it's something we'll see more of if they do decide to bring in the rest of the remaining members of the group.

I’d love it if they did. The story sounds interesting. 😊👍🏼

  • My first time I played Freddy Krueger all 4 Survivors DC’d. Even today it’s my fav DBD story to tell.

Because they don't want to end up unintentionally married to the Huntress.

    I love this ngl 😂😂

  • Not bad. It forces the killer to play anti-campy and it incentivizes that they don’t tunnel the survivor either.

  • I agree. I don’t know why they haven’t expanded on this via. cosmetics, legendary skins, or even map variations. Stranger Things was one of their most popular DLC’s to date. It’s a mistake for them to not attempt to get more from it.

  • I’m surprised they haven’t done this yet. This is a high priority for them considering how groundbreaking the Alien Franchise is.

    Survivor:

Confidence: Some call it arrogance, you call it confidence.

When repairing a generator alone for at least 30 seconds, Confidence activates. When active, you see the auras of all survivors for 5/6/7 seconds and you see the aura of the killer for 8/9/10 seconds. Confidence is only active until the survivor stops repairing the generator.

Sorority Sisters: You need your allies around you a lot more than you’ll ever admit.                              When unhooking another survivor, Sorority Sisters activates and the hook or cage timer is paused at wherever it is at. When active, if an unhooked survivor is put into the dying state and is put into a hook or cage again within 50/60/70 seconds, the timer will resume where it was at before the survivor was unhooked or uncaged before. Sorority Sisters can only be used once on one survivor per trial.

Secrets: You’re able to keep very quiet in desperate times.

When within 20/25/30 meters of the killer, all of your actions will become 50% quieter for 30 seconds. Secrets has a cooldown of 30 seconds once used.

In Charge: Your years of experience have led you to be able to make great progress within a team despite the odds you encounter.                     When within 10 meters of at least 1 other survivor and in the killer’s terror radius, In Charge activates. When active, gain a 5/10/15% speed boost to any altruism actions when within within the killer’s terror radius.

Not in my Movie: You aren’t afraid to face a killer in an attempt to thwart them.            After repairing a generator while injured for at least 50 seconds, Not in my Movie activates. The next time you are chased by the killer for 30/25/20 seconds, Title will instantly heal you if you are not put into the dying state within the chase with a killer. If the killer ends the chase by leaving you or by putting you into the dying state before you can be healed, Not in my Movie deactivates until you repair another generator for at least 50 seconds. Title deactivates completely once all generators are repaired.

    One Last Scare:

You always expect that one last scare to happen shortly before the end of it all.

After unhooking another Survivor after the start of the endgame collapse, One Last Scare activates for 4/5/6 seconds. During this time, if a hit from the killer would put you into the dying state, it will be ignored and you will be put into the deep wound state. You must mend before entering the exit gates or you will enter into the dying state and the killer will be notified of your location. One Last Scare will only activate if you are in the injured state before the hooked survivor is unhooked.

Not Today: You don’t take crap from those who attempt to hurt you.

Once per trial, when the killer attempts to pick you up from the dying state, press the active ability button and the killer will be kicked and will experience the stun affect for 5 seconds. Once used, Not Today deactivates for the rest of the trial.

Weird Vibes: Your environment can help you when you know something is wrong.                           When in the killer’s terror radius, Weird Vibes activates. For 12/14/16 seconds, if a survivor hides in a locker within the killer’s terror radius they will see the auras of all survivors and the killer within the trial.                           Weird Vibes has a cooldown of 50/45/40 seconds before it can be activated again. Weird Vibesincreases your odds of being the obsession.

Plugged Up: You anticipate the worst when you see the killer, but you still do the best you can with what you got.                          When unhooking a survivor in the killer’s terror radius; the closest 4 vault locations,                           including breakable pallets and breakable walls, will be inaccesible to the killer for 10/15/20 seconds.

    Killer:

Reminiscent: You remember a person, especially when they have wronged you.                                  If a survivor stuns you, Reminiscent activates. When the survivor is hooked and escapes the hook by any means, Reminiscent reveals the survivors aura for 6/7/8 seconds.

Hex: Vengeance: Your hatred for the survivors never ceases.

When at least two generators have been repaired, Hex: Vengeance activates. As long as the corresponding hex totem is still standing, all survivors are hindered with the exposed effect for 5 seconds after the generator has been fully repaired. All survivors will also experience a 30/40/50% generator repair penalty for 20 seconds if another survivor is put into the dying state due to of Hex: Vengeance.

Prayer Closet: External forces are pleased with how you will do anything to please the ones that help you.

When a survivor is on the ground in the dying state for 20/15/10 seconds, press the activate ability button and the entity will block all sides the survivor’s path to all players in the trial for 30 seconds.

Prayer Closet can only be used on the most recent survivor put into the dying state.

Prayer Closet will deactivate for the affected survivor if they are able to pick themselves up from the dying state.

Prayer Closet has a 30 second cool down once used.

I’ve done these before when making concept ideas for Licensed Chapters I’d love to see (such as Carrie, Scream Paragraph of Sidney Prescott and Randy Meek, I Know What You Did Last Summer, etc.). If y’all want to see more don’t be afraid to HMU! 😎👍🏼

I always use the perk just to try getting some extra points and it's really hard to actually build up 4 stacks every single game since your ally can be hooked on the other side of the map, thus making it difficult for people who use the perk. I don't know what will be the other ways to stack it but just changing it adds a lot of value to the perk and I love it, so thanks to BHVR team :)

When did they say they’re changing it?

  • What changes did they make? I haven’t been on much in awhile.

  • How do we contact the DEVS about this?

  • What if they just had the Mori’s be like a token system, but every token is dependent on totems remaining in the trial? (Ex. 2 Totems Left=2 Abilities to Mori).

Continuing with the idea for Glenvale cosmetics: Mostly Kate, Claudette, Jane, Meg, Jeff, Jake and Dwight here on the survivor side.

Maybe stuff like Snake Oil salesman for the Doctor or Clown, or a 'proper' Trapper outfit for Trapper. Caleb could lend Anna one of his dusters with a coyote mask.

I'd honestly by this if it was a full set of cosmetics (like the suitcases back when)

I wish they made suitcases like those still. Those were awesome. 😊👍🏼

  • Rip. I’ve played Xbox. Only got screwed once as Wraith in Haddonfield (then again it IS a Wraith in Haddonfield 😂) and as Claudette against a tunneling Pyramid-Head on the Thompson House. Idk if I was just really hyped to show off my skills to other platforms but I almost always got the most points out of the people I was up with (least Survivor wise). There was this Pig Player who let me boop the snoot and they were fun and good to go up against. Legit most killers beforehand on Xbox got super tryhard since the anniversary began but this honestly made it more fun! 😊👍🏼

The Wild West Outfits for Glenvale are the first thing to come to mind. Vintagte hospital outfits for Lery's and Crotus (was that the name?), traditional russian outfits for the red forest etc.

I would love to see some for Crotus Prenn, but only concern is that they sometimes want to have cosmetics based off of maps that are getting some hype. Like reworked maps for instance. It could happen though since graphical updates are coming through. Any specific characters you would want to get these cosmetics?

  • Honestly I’ve been thinking of a fan made concept idea for Hellraiser in DBD. I think Ghostyboi on Youtube is also doing something like this in the near future if he hasn’t done it already.

  • Any feedback on what you think it is would be great. I’d love to hear what y’all think it could be. 😊👍🏼

  • I lost a Ghastly Gateau on Pyramid Head because of 111 not even letting my game load in. I want compensation.

  • One perk I’d love to see get revamped would have to be Bloodpact. I hate that if you’re the obsession it just cancels a perk. I would love it if instead of the perk being cancelled if you’re the obsession, if you’re put into the injured state then you can see everyone else’s auras within a certain range or vice versa.

  • Love this! 😊👍🏼

  • That could be interesting. What ideas do you have right now regarding this idea?

  • In all honesty I hate the fatigue where she groans and puts her head down. One of the top 3 reasons I hate playing Nurse it’s just so annoying to a point where I’d rather not have fatigue but I don’t have any other ideas to balance it out right now. Her speed has always been an issue and while I can understand the argument with how she can teleport it still doesn’t really matter if almost no one on console plays her that often as they would as other killers.

Reading the actual post, the first issue is her power only working with destroyed objects. With Oni, he can be drastically weakened based on how long you can go without giving him the first hit. If you get a map like Lerys, with a lot of vaults and fewer pallets, you can take out her power for most of the game, especially when you look at Plugged Up and the ability to make killers not be able to vault loops. A killer's power should be either something entirely in their hands, or something VERY strong when it is not, such as Oni and Trapper having potential instant downs, but needing the survivors to make the mistake first.

    Demon Perks:

I like Anger. Anger is a good perk idea.

I am worried Prayer Closet might be a bit campy and unfun for survivors. The killer stays around you for 10 seconds, then makes it so you cannot be saved for an extra 30, if I am reading it right?

Numbers on Bloody Revenge are WAY too big, and the hexes are supposed to be an optional, questionable decision. A fully stacked Dying Light takes minutes to get, and only decreases speed by 33%. A better way to put it would be something like "After a survivor is hooked, Hex: Bloody Revenge converts a dull totem into a hex totem, or repairs a broken totem into a dull totem if there are no dull totems left. When there are no survivors dying or hooked, slow repair and healing speed by 3/4/5% per active Hex totem."

    For the Survivor

Prom Date: Generator speed boosts are supposed to be HUGELY rare, and 20% is way too large of a boost, especially for not having a duration listed. This is a 35 second gen for an unhook. 1 person gets chased, 3 survivors work on gens, you got 3 gens done in 80 seconds. Now you have one person chased, one person saves, those two go do a gen, and you have the entire game won in ~2.5 minutes at that speed.

Weird Vibes: Clarification: If YOU are in the terror radius, and you manage to hide, you get to see their auras, or if someone ELSE hides while you are being chased by the killer, THEY can see everyone's auras?

Plugged up sounds good, but it will just end up being a slightly stronger version of Cruel Limits.

Should’ve worded it to say that the intentions with Prom Date would only be for that first generator the two survivors worked on lol. And my intentions with Hex: Bloody Revenge would have it be similar to Hex: Devour Hope where when the Survivors see its’ active they would hopefully be able to find it but its’ extreme power is something that worries me a bit with it. I was running low on ideas for this idea ngl. 😂 Good feedback though, great ideas. 😎👍🏼

I've always wanted this one lol, I really love Carrie and her PIII cosmetic could go crazy

Glad you like it. 😊👍🏼 Only thing I’d worry about would be Hex: Bloody Revenge being seen as OP but it is just a Hex Perk that anyone can disarm lol.

Absolutely not. No more school maps. Gotta do a hard pass on them. 😤 Pick a new map, and we will see.

Lol the map wouldn’t only be the school lol. There’d only be a small section of the school (primarily being the gym that would be burnt beyond most recognition alongside a couple random hallways). Most of the map would be outside though and the school would kinda be like how the Crotus Prenn Asylum looks (in terms with the roof) if that makes sense lol I should’ve clarified that better. 😂

  • I heard the main issue relies on Craven’s death. Since he died in 2015 the rights for NOES in the US went to his family. New Line only has the rights to NOES outside of the US. Pauli’s Esther made a video on YouTube recently where he discussed how if they’re making new changes to the Springwood maps then they may be possibly discussing cosmetics as well (because both would have to be discussed with the license holders). If you want I can put a link for it here for y’all.
