I’m done with this community. You don’t deserve interesting content. You’re all annoying and cynical. Literally last time I’ll ever post interesting videos I’ve made.

Most boring community I’ve ever interacted with. Congrats.

The graphics promoting the event took more time than making the event itself.

When you guys said that you wanted to try something different on one of the livestreams this year, I would have never expected just a recolor of the last year's event, truly outstanding move.

Remember to vote Labour of love guys 💀

  • Skull merchant honestly has the best ambience terror radius, and her chase music would've been the best too if they didn't remove the sirens and flatten the sound of the drums 💔

He is weaker than before. His cooldowns are terrible. You can outplay his dash simply jumping into a locker and he cant one shot you back because of the cooldown. His stalking is worse, somehow you can lose stalking meter, impressive. His dash itself is slow and clunky. He is just awfull. I don't like him.

I even tried his addon that revert this rework somewhat, but thats even worse. He only has 40 seconds of Exposed and still has the cooldown and worse stalking. Playing him without brown addon in stalker mode to 4.4m/s is also awfull. They ruined him. I wish he is fully reverted or seriously buffed. Like a LOT.

I never understood the stalk decay mechanic because Ghostface had the same issue until they buffed it so there was no decay..

We should absolutely get rewards for things like hitting p100, I agree. The licenses are the lifeblood of DBD so I'm not really bothered by those. One thing I really despise however is how common Very Rare cosmetics are. Every new set releases as one, even if it's broken. The rarity is so high that you're unlikely to get it without AC and I think that's really crappy to do to the audience.

We still don't have any thing for devotion 😭

I find this to not be true, I am a college student and on the summers I work a 9 to 5, I have consistently been able to use shards for all original chapters since skull merchant. Mind you I do not only play dbd, shard gain is not bad unless you want to purchase a lot of skins with them.

Then that just means all you do in your spare time is game lmao 💀

anti tunnel update shouldnt have gone through, alongside any balance changes done in relation to it.

it was a fundamentally flawed update that immediately gave birth to a slop named Krasue (who wasnt a good killer on ptb either, y'all just glanced over her power level or absurd lack of interactivity because it used to take time to get used to her power and the power dynamic was drastically different thanks to these flawed systems).

I disagree. For the first time in a while playing killer wasn't a chore and I didn't have to run regression perks like scourge hook or pop. I could actually use other perks like oppression or something if I didn't tunnel (which i try not to, unless someone clearly wants my attention). Obviously there were some glaring issues but those could've easily been fixed.

And regardless if the update was released alongside krasue or not, krasue was a decent killer on the ptb. I think everyone prefers a killer that is slightly underpowered than the ghoul x nemesis crap we have rn.

It's up there for sure. They don't seem to be hitting their goals on time, which is understandable, but why double down then? So far none of the proposed changes have gone down as planned and end up getting pulled. It's painful to watch and even worse to play. 😭 In my opinion.

It literally makes no sense to me because why, as a potential stakeholder looming over the game, incentivise a poor product that acts like a cash crop that lasts maybe a week, rather than actually letting ( if given the opportunity, potentially decent) developers actually perfect the product and ensure profit margins over a longer period of time and also bring good reviews to the game😭

Stakeholders have been the worse thing ever for the current gaming era

How many of you have heard of hide and seek variants with myers in custom games?

Even with scratch mirror or infinite exposed with tombstone mori. With and without sandbagging. These are so fun! And the way myers are getting totally changed... We will not be able to do this anymore. Doing it privatly with friends, or with streamers.

I would love if we can still have Myers old style in the custom games. So we can still have fun with our friends!

And also add a setting that a killer can be undetectable the whole match (only in custom game). To spice up these gamestyles players wanna try in custom games.

I will explain some of the hide and seek plays with myers under here:

Hide and seek 1: All survivors are against eachother. They have to use Bond and pebble. And the two others is up to them. Sandbagging etc is allowed.

The killer is a Myers in a infinite tier 3 with tomb stone. Before the match starts all survivors gather to feed the tier 3. Then a countdown start where the killer just wait for the survivors to spread and get ready.

Idk if the killer should have a standard 1 or 2 perk and the rest of their choosing. But these rules is up to the host.

    How the game ends examples:

1: Until 1 survivor is left.

2: When 1 survivor is left, first person to get to the hatch or close it first.

3: Extended of example 2. Could be a try for the exit gates.

    Hide and seek 2:

All survivors gather somewhere for the killer to stalk to tier 3. Then the killer find a wall to look at, and mutes all sounds. For 1 minute survivors go hide. When the times is up, no one can move fron their spot (plp streaming have had specterators to check if plp weren't disobeying this)

When the killer finds a player, there is a mori. And then the killer has to mute all sounds again. For 30 seconds the remaining survivors get to find another spot, or not.

Until the 1 survivor is left. They win.

There could be a alternative. When the 3th is moried. There is a time limit on 3 minutes to find the last survivor.

But do as you wish to do :)

If we won't get Old myers in the custom games for this. This is your chance to try it out before this is gone forever.

I feel like they should bring in a mode like how they dk with 2v8 and lights out but make it a scratch mirror Myers mode.

Not everyone who you disagree with is joking; but if your intention was to minimize and humiliate OP and their suggestion, that's not very appropriate either.

@Topic I would love for this to be a toggle because it's just unnecessary audio clutter after the first 2 or 3 times you hear a voice line. Too bad they probably diverted valuable development resources to get out the Jim badge in record time, so that puts this potential QOL change at Q3 of 2028 at the earliest :) (sarcasm intended if it wasn't obvious).

No you're right I'm sorry guys that was unnecessary of me 😭 a toggle would be nice but I personally love the voice lines, even if they are corny

  • @Dark_Vorahk1 said:

Seriously this is getting old. The random repetitive quips are so frustrating and immersion breaking it kills the excitement of roleplaying as the new characters. It's bad enough characters talk to themselves in the lobby why are we forced into trial interactions.

By all means continue with the voice work for whoever enjoys it, but there is zero reason to continue without a toggle to remove the voice acting. Please consider making voiced characters an opt out feature. I'm sure it's great for someone who just got the game but it's not the game many of us bought years ago and just kills the experience for many players who have been around for years.

Girl it's not April 1st chill with this post 😭

I’m a solo queue survivor and in the vanilla game mode I probably escape between 25-35% of the time depending on the day. I don’t use meta perks (other than maybe Distortion? Not sure it’s meta but I see it whined about a lot). I’m still playing solo and generally not getting very good perks but have found myself escaping 50-60% of trials in Chaos Shuffle?

If anything I've had worse experiences. Killers camp / tunnel x100 and teammates seem to play urban evasion simulator more

  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

I know what you are thinking "another Killer main complaining about Distortion because their Aura Reading is nullified", but honestly, I dont mind it when playing as Killer.

My main issue with Distortion has to do with Survivor gameplay.

Distortion is not necessarily an issue by itself, but it enables a selfish playstyle from the Survivor's end in which they basically throw the entire team under the bus for their own Survivor, I personally see it as being similar to Left Behind and Sole Survivor.

Since the Killer is not seeing the Survivor's Aura from Distortion, they often dont get chased. I find in matches that dont have Distortion, it leads to situations in which Killers are more likely to tunnel since they cannot find other Survivors, sometimes it isnt even intentional tunneling either, it just kind of happens due to awful hook spread caused by the perk.

Often I see Survivors who use Distortion just hiding for most of the game, they never take chase, rarely go for Safe Unhooks, and often never take protection hits or help protect their teammates who are being tunneled.

Overall, I just really hate being forced to deal with it, my SoloQ matches are rough enough, I dont need it being made worse by a single perk.

So yea... is Distortion OP like people say?

No, far from it, it's actively throwing the team under the bus. Id argue it's a bad perk that should be changed to encourage a more active and supportive role on the team like old WGLF.

I literally just got downed constantly by an iri add on blight who's running aura add ons and humped whilst being slugged JUST for running distortion. Maybe instead of nerfing distortion we can ask ourselves WHY distortion is needed in the first place?

  • @the_honey_badger said:

So talking about a killer that's incredibly controversial, I'll be honest and straight up. Yes I play her in a 3 gen defence way, to me there's no other way of playing her effectively. If you're playing a chase playstyle then you're effectively shooting yourself in the foot so to speak.

So I'm unfortunately one of those people who can't help but have somewhat of a competitive mindset. It's not that I don't mind loosing, I'd just much prefer a 3k and move onto next match. That to me is a win condition. Yes I know I could do that with nurse, spirit, other S tiers or even A tier killer's. But at time's when I mess up constantly, I feel like it just gets to me if that makes sense? It messes me up even more and I end up just being pretty unhappy playing the game, especially when people message me saying stuff like "gg ez killer". I don't mind messages but it get old after a while.

So why did i bring this stuff up? Now I love playing her because I find it just incredibly relaxing, now I'm not taking away the fact that it's incredibly boring or unfair to face, that's a whole other issue. But something about just listening to a podcast or some music while chilling and playing dbd feels nice. Yes I know the killer gets alot of backlash due to this playstyle, but I'm not doing it to be malicious or mean, or to even sour someone's mood. I like doing it because it's something I find relaxing to do and not having to stress or worry feels so good.

So if you've read this far, I do apologise for posting quite a lengthy post, I do understand how frustrating it is to see someone enjoy a playstyle that is widely despised, but I do hope by reading this you can see the point of the topic. While I can understand how it is to face something like this, I also hope you can understand the other side of the coin.

Thank you for reading this, I once again apologise for such a length post. <3

Its giving "this is me, if you even care :/"

  • I think there might be a case where survs get a flashlight out of a chest, escape with it or keep it after death via offering, and they appear to have one in the lobby.

I'm not sure tho, I stopped playing the game until the exploit is fixed and xeno gets some adjustments

  • @mca240 said:

My main problem playing Dredge is you teleporting to the locked locker by default. Survivors can basically lock a set of lockers twice. Either they have to lock both locks or Dredge teleports to the unlocked locker. That’s the way it should be.

When putting down a remnant he should not move slower, but at normal speed. Also, the screen shouldn’t go darker.

These are my main suggested buffs for Dredge.

Imo I think the priority system is fine as it is, besides if the survivors lock all lockers in a grouped area, you can just break out of one of them and smack them all away

I agree with the the gloaming movement speed changes and darkness reduction, never understood why that was a thing

  • @Steakdabait said:

Other than the ambient noise when out of nightfall and nightfall itself, he's pretty fine as is

Idk tbh, there's a lot qol buffs he could use. Exiting a locked locker without calender add on is very jarring, especially within nightfall too.

And some maps are hit and miss with its locker counts. Like I don't want the maps to be filled with lockers, but I also don't want to be able to count all the lockers on the map quickly when highlighted from my power, and/or discover dead zones of lockers within a couple gen areas

The tp cooldown outside of nightfall as well is a bit lengthy.

Imo there's a lot of add ons in his kit that could be base kit, but my main gripes are his locked locker exiting, ambient noise, and locker counts and distribution and tp cooldown

  • This isn't about competitive advantage, this is bcs they replaced the va for jonah entirely due to the old one being involved in irl Freddy Krueger-like acts which = Big nono.

I do agree tho some voices do need updating with volume and expressiveness

  • @IHSGames said:

I'venever thought about it till recently when I heard a discussion of Otzdarva talking about how very little info we get in terms of perk effects in DBD, especially opposing sides. It's hard to tell when someone is using a certain perk until its too late. But thats not the point of this matter. This topic made me think "as killer, when do you know when youre giving survivors mangled? Or exposed?" You just have to pray and guess and honestly, I feel like thats unfair, even as a survivor main.

Killers should be able to know when an effect they enduce on a survivor whether Oblivious or any other effect, in order to gain full value from it. If people running Starstruck knew which survivors were exposed, Starstruck would be used alot more. And I know most will say "well if killers did have this info this will force them to target certain players" which...why would they not? Its stupid not to.

Anyways, I think killers should see in the HUD where they see survivor players when a Survivor has Hemorage, Obliviousness, etc, to not just utilize perks better but really, killers should have the right to see info they shouldve be seeing already.

I was thinking this earlier today actually. I was playing dredge with the add-on "worry stone" where you see the aura of a survivor locking a locker for 6 seconds, but I only saw an aura around twice per game, even tho almost everytime I tp'd the locker was locked. It would be nice to see a perk-like effect duration on the add on picture to know aura reading add ons like that would show.

The same could go for exposed, hindered etc. Like how a survivor can see what other survivors of doing with icons next to their portraits, allow killers to see what effects the survivors are under, next to their portraits

  • @LordGlint said:

I think it's funny how they made sure to mention hooking a survivor who is holding a tape destroys the tape and doesn't do anything else. Any tape being held would've been destroyed when said survivor got hit, so how would you ever hook a survivor with a tape to begin with, lol? Are they getting rdy for the Nick Cage perk where you can down yourself? Are they putting this in for the case where someone in deep wounds grabs a tape and fails to mend? #########, lol

Not only this, but if they are holding a tape and are about to get attacked, they could just hop in a locker and get grabbed instead so they don't get condemned progress

  • I think 80 percent of the time I used it, it made me exposed lol. Doesn't matter anyways since this perk is basically the new "dead hard for distance" and you can get to a pallet with the speed boost, so the exposed effect doesn't really matter lol

  • @dbdthegame said:

Sadako is braindead easy to use now. Here's the trend been for every single Sadako I've gone up against so far:

Spam teleport at every TV as soon as the game starts, if a survivor has a tape, smack them for that extra 2 states use Ring Drawing to disincentivize fully healing, continue spamming teleport every time a TV respawns to prevent survivors from doing their tapes/picking up tapes, keep survivors slugged to keep them off gens, use slowdown perks, and slowly build up condemned across the map. Then eventually, you get a free Mori when someone inevitably goes down with a tape and 5 stacks of Condemn.

This rework is atrocious. I would rather go against old slug Condemn Sadako than this.

I've just said this in my post as well - I miss playing old sadako now with reiko watch, it was so much better.

  • @SantaKlawz1 said:

She seems more difficult to face now. Maybe you need to see some videos and change up your gameplay.

The only reason she's more difficult to face now is because Mothers Comb + ring drawing / iri tape. If you just hit and run everyone to let them heal and find ppl with tapes before they get to the nearest TV (you'll know where cuz of the comb add on letting you know where they are) + projection spam, you can easily condemn someone and tunnel them down. I've done it before, I've condemned so many ppl at 4-5 gens and mori-ing them cuz it's that easy and brainless.

Her chase ability also got nerfed cuz the reiko watch add-on fell under the excel spreadsheet hammer of "too much usage = nerf".

The lullaby is still present when demanifested so getting a free first hit is still hard to do, unlike wraith or any other undetectable killer. Hell, even a 16m TR EW2 myers can get a free first hit better than sadako.

She's not healthy for the game rn cuz the devs mangled her focus on condemning, and whilst killing one way of condemn spam (which is good), they reintroduced another way unknowingly.

OH yea inherent bloodlust nerf on her too cuz demanifestation no longer triggers chases

  • I think this happens with every item. Today I've been up against 2 doctors running overwhelming presence and I had a 24 charge sabo toolbox. I only managed to use it once and the 2nd/final usage ended up just running out at the last second, it's really frustrating

I am currently in college with my major being Sustainability and Environmental Studies. Since 1990, our overall warming rate has almost doubled from what it was for the previous years we'd kept track. ( https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/global-temperature/ )

The Billions of hectares (1 hectare = roughly 2.4 acres) of forests that have been cut down in almost ALL countries is astronomical. This just speeds that up even more.

We are destroying our planet. And at this point, we're getting very close to a no-turning-back situation. If we continue the way we are, the estimate is that the earth will be uninhabitable by 2100.

Im currently doing A-Level Geography (pre uni school basically) and im so glad theres others like you out there doing the same. All these people are singling out these things to be so minute but in reality its deadly.

There are tons of things that aren’t necessary, yet we pollute the environment for it.

    Not defending BHVR here, FYI.

thats a whole seperate issue itself. there is so much unnecessary crap intergrated within our lifestyles that kill the environment but its now practically a necessity in order for different economies to move on (i.e. slaughtering animals, transporting the meat, processing it, packaging it etc.) THIS however is literally just pixel and has no usage whatsoever

Franklin's with new toolboxes is kinda useless cause the toolboxes get used so fast.

Plus the fact that bnps are mainly used at the start of the trial and toolboxes get depleted quicker as a result makes it even more useless

  • @Phasmamain said:

I would rather a team full of BNP that gets wasted on one gen over an entire team of purple medkits.

Nah I'd say other way round. There's so many exposed effects from perks, powers and killer add ons which just overshadow healing, so I don't really have an issue with that stuff. But instant gen deletion makes me dc no matter what. Playing on a map like Dead Dawg Saloon where there's like 6 breakable walls in the tavern building + a few from the safe jungle jyms near the tavern building + the shack wall, you have to break in order to traverse properly takes (6x3) 18 seconds of your time (from tavern), 3-4 breakable walls from jungle gyms = 9-12 and the extra 3 seconds from shack wall. That's 33 seconds of time wasted at maximum just so you can actually enable mind gaming on those loops and proper traversal. Then you have to actually GET to the gens, chase them, and down them whilst the other survs are still doing gens. It just flys by and its so demotivating.

Title. I’m going to do a series where how would you change a perk, addons, & killers. So that being said how would you change it to make it balanced for both sides.

Make it a charge based perk. Start the trial with 60 charges, each second consumes a charge. When a charge is consumed, stifle your Grunts of Pain by 100 percent for 1.25 seconds. When charges are below 30, Grunts of pains are stifled by 75% when consumed and lasts for 1.5 seconds.

Honestly, I've been finding solo survivor unenjoyable lately, too. It's even to the point where I'd rather play and completely lose a killer match than play another match as a solo survivor.

While I won't deny that more killers are playing aggressively since the update regarding utilizing camping and tunneling as strategies, most of my lack of enjoyment from playing solo survivors comes from matchmaking. I play at rank 1, and it seems to be a complete draw as to whether I will get decent teammates. I do not expect others to be perfect, and I am not the greatest player myself. However, it is disheartening when I constantly get grouped with players that do not work on any objectives. It pretty much ensures our defeat, and sitting in a queue for so long just to be matched up like that isn't the best feeling.

Yea the matchmaking exacerbates the issue WAY too much, I'd be fine with tunneling and camping here and there but only if my teammates actually bothered to help counteract it I. E. Not farming, bringing BT, bodyblocking at the right moments, not crouching round the map, not unhook bombing to the point where everyone gets slugged and gets hooked, trade hooks so we dont lose manpower immediately.

There's a lot we can do as teammates, people are just dumb and be like "oh better do gens lol" but when it comes to anything else they hiss. It's ironic yknow, back when old ruin happened, the game would be held to ahalt whilst every survivor ran for their lives to find the hex totem and curbstomp it whilst other survs would just power thru the skill checks and hit great skill checks.

you just can't ######### abuse it now by gen tapping and healing mid ######### chase and baiting on totems.

And what's wrong with killers having good aim being successful with their powers?

I'm pretty sure the only reason why mentioned slinger and not huntress is bcs with slinger your ads windup time is next to nothing. Survivors will just have to constantly zigzag/unpredictably move to avoid a potential spear hit and be slowed down in the chase bcs of that OR they could just run in a straight line and get hit by spear and then get hit by basic attack :/

Sure, let's break line of sight in their new reworked Autohaven maps which are literally just empty space.

Thing is I don't really see the problem with trickster throwing knives until you get downed. If it was huntress, she'd just be holding the hatchet until she has a good enough guess on where to throw (bearing in mind her hatchet can injure you in less than 3 seconds if she has good aim) , during that time as trickster ur just filling up the bar with knives until the last hit required.

  • You really trying to tempt me into a dbd all-kill role reversal concept chapter aren't You LMFAO

All in all, claudette is a baddie 👯😍, love the role reversal with this one

Her power can definitely be inconsistent at times, like latency with huntress hatchets, but she is still pretty good. Right now, most survivors just don't know how to play against her that well. She is a strong killer despite that though.

What I do against her is get infected as much as possible and use up all pools so nobody else gets infected and she has corrupt purge for only 45 seconds, at that point if you see her, just book It the other side of the map holding w and it takes a while for her to get you. It's really effective, her power is really underwhelming

I am not sure in which platform you're playing, but if ineffective teammates and camping/tunnelling killers are bringing you this level of distraught, i'd suggest turning crossplay off if you're on PC.

Killers in low/mid ranks don't really grasp the importance of patrolling objectives and it's not their fault, they are learning. Same for low rank survivors which don't know how to counter those tactics. Even in red ranks I've had teammates that spent a noticeable amount of time hiding in lockers and doing anything but objectives.

Since ranks are just a measure of time and not experience/skill I await anxiously for the arrival of MMR.

Does turning off crossplay affect que times a lot? That's the only thing I'm worried about
