What time is it usually released UK Time?

It's currently 8:10am MST, so in about 50 mins.

  • I did 80% of my Killer Adepts at red ranks before MMR, so I know the struggle. Besides knowing the bare minimum you need for emblems (EX: Getting 8-9 hooks a game for Iri. Devotion) you need to farm those last two Survivors. This will make the game last longer and give you more Gatekeeper points while giving you plenty of time to win chases for Chaser (also helps with Malicious, but COH can really hurt you here so snuff it every chance you get). It should be even easier with the hatch changes since they can't plunder a key and cuck you. Finally, use any tactics you can that won't hurt you- slugging for the 4k, tunneling weak members ASAP, do all you can to win bc the Survivors will too.

Its easy. My very first time playing her. Did it on my first ever match as pinhead too. Its the survivor ones I struggle with, and thats why ill never hit 100%

It helps to learn the killer though when you go for adept

WHAT IS THAT SKIN ITS DOPE AF

Also for the OP I'd recommend waiting for rank reset. As a new Killer her MMR ranking should be lower than your usual Killers + the grading system will have the pips (therefore Merciless Killer) easier to earn.

  • Considering it could have been much much worse, I won't complain.

I'd hoped they would compensate for this by increasing Repel times (which I guess this does indirectly) but this is nice.

I'm sorry that you're disatisfied with decisions that you do not agree with. However, just to reassure you on one point - our calendar is planned months in advance, as was the Bloodhunt.

Yes, because Bloodhunts are such a regular occurrence and its normal for them to be scheduled for minor holidays like Black Friday. Classic BHVR planning.

First 2 matches I naturally roll RCPD.

I dont even know how that's possible, I usually always have to bring badges because it's hard to roll this map when Badham has 5 FRICKIN variants.

Seriously, who likes preschools that much? It's a little concerning.

Now that I've basically mastered the layout completely, this map gives me Spine Chills when I spawn because I know I'm in for an intense match.

I love how much of a breath of fresh air this map is.

We got hatch on the 2nd floor and a unique gameplay loop that separates it from all the other maps.

I think why this map is so great is because it's so different from DBD. Might explain why I love facing Nurse as well.

I'll admit though, this map somehow sandbags both survivor and killer. Oh look, this Mokaela has a Boon in the library and shes trying to loop the top of the library....how cheeky. I still love it anyway. Best "party game " level that's always good for a laugh.

Never really played RE, but this map makes me want to jump into the series so bad.

Sorry for the tangent, I'm just really excited after my good luck. I'm just sad that people still trash this map so hard and say only RE fans like thos map and any DBD fan should automatically despise it because it's not Coldwind 2.0 or Ormond 2.0

Lucky, I'm trying to get the gen achievement for RCPD. Out of +300 games and +135 Bloodwebs I haven't gotten one RCPD offering and have been sent there twice by random chance, both times getting tunneled out immediately.

  • Just to clarify, VHS tweeted that yesterday, so their Beta started at 10am PST today. That's ~90mins before DBD's Tweet about the Bloodhunt.

  • They launched it because they're scared of the VHS beta and how for once they might have competition. That's why it was announced out of the blue only 90 minutes before the Beta launched.

Nah that's 15 hrs ago. Which would be yesterday in PST, so yeah i think it's live right now.

They started the Beta 1.5hrs ago. DBD tweeted the Bloodhunt 3hrs ago, 1.5hrs before VHS.

  • It's a useless feature. I was hoping it'd be something akin to Endorsement Levels in OW where good gameplay and positive sportsmanship cause people to level you up, thus earning you more ingame rewards but let's be honest that's expecting way too much of BHVR.

About 1.5hrs ago- 1.5hrs after the DBD tweet. Almost like they knew...

  • Wow, a Bloodhunt after all this time? That's so kind and nice of the devs, they must really be sad about all the issues that people have been telling them about for a while. It's a great change of-

    Minimum one Generator.

You're lucky, I did this when it first came out where you also had to do at least 1 safe unhook per game. If the Killer is AFK the Gen is easy, but it wouldn't count cause he didnt hook anyone :')

  • I've got nothing against russians, and I'm sorry you have to go through that.

  • In my experience it has always been a map where anything can happen- I did Grandmaster Adept Nurse and Blight on it, I looped Killers for 10s or 10mins on it, even got insanely hard achievements like Left Behind, Evil Incarnate and several others on it. Always my favorite map for stealth builds and gameplay, while others hated it I loved it as much as I love Demo. It's a terrible day for rain, now that its gone.

  • How did you get it, just wondering?

Jane's lore has always had her being a Latinx woman (typecast as the "sassy Mexican" in acting roles), and even before her, Ace is listed as an Argentinian of Italian descent.

And before this, the Trickster was called "the first killer to speak" when Plague has been speaking the whole time.

This is demise of the faithful erasure lmao

Journalists said the same thing about Elsa being the first Disney princess who didn't need a man to save her.

As if magic ice powers are somehow better than defending China (Mulan) or fighting for freedom (Merida/Brave). Take their opinions with a grain of salt and assume it's blatantly false.

I always see the same killers each game, Huntress (85% of the time), wraith, trapper, hillbilly ect....I never see any of the "fun" killers i would say (45-50% hit or miss) like Trickster, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Blight, Twins, Spirit, Oni, Demo, Nurse, Pin Head (hes okay but not that interesting) It just seems like i see more of the free killers then anything else. I know more new killers are playing the game lately but its so boring going against the same killers everytime.

Low rank players are usually new and don't have lots of DLC, ergo they play the free Killers. High rank players usually play the meta so they play the same 3-5 meta Killers. Variety happens in the middle, and even then its usually a mix of the first two groups.

  • I've never met a Demogorgon I didn't like- most are funny and 'play nice', even the sweaty ones are fun to go against.

I've shared this (Probably OP AF) concept before, but:

    Hex: Death Spiral-

A Hex rooting its power on the fear of failure.

For each unique Survivor that is hooked, this Hex gains a token.

When the Exit Gates are opened, Hex: Death Spiral activates.

Upon activation, Hex: Death Spiral blocke the Exit Gates for 30 seconds per token. If this Hex is cleansed, the effect immediately ends.

I just saw this, my perk Set For Disaster is similar. Yours is probably more counterable but mine lasts for less time. When did you come up with it?

    @GoodBoyKaru said:

    Hex: Curses of the damned

A hex rooting it's power on your own damned soul. As your rage grows, so does your Curse, hindering all of their activities.

Each time you are stunned or blinded, gain a token, up to a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens. For each token, gain the following effects:

1 token- Whenever a survivor misses a skill check, the generator is revealed in yellow until that survivor stops repairing.

2 tokens- Whenever a survivor is injured, the Broken status effect is applied until they are hooked.

3 tokens- Whenever a survivor is hooked, the generator with the most amount of progress is blocked by The Entity for 20 seconds.

4 tokens- Whenever a hex perk would be destroyed except for Hex: Curses of the Damned, if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the map, that Totem becomes a Hex Totem with the previous Hex applied.

5 tokens- All effects of this perk are now permanent.

The effect persists until the related Totem is destroyed.

    ------

I like making Hex perks, because I can just go nuts on the effects. I think I followed your rules by making a hex perk that's either nutty or useless on everyone, depending on when it is cleansed.

This seems like a very powerful tradeoff considering you can 'farm' blinds and stuns. I like the idea though.

  • I roughly a dozen different chapter concepts for fun, here are some of my favorite Killer perks I made.

    Set For Disaster

Doomsday approaches, bringing with it the end of all things.

“When the Snake swallows the Sun, then shall the people of Egypt cry out in their unholy deaths.” -Book of Sethumshut, 3.6

    • Each time you hook a Survivor, gain a Token.
    • When Survivors open an Exit Gate, the Exits are blocked for 4/5/6s for each Token on Set For Disaster. Once completed, the perk deactivates for the rest of the Trial.

Scourge Hook: I Am Become Death

With access to the most lethal material on the planet, no one shall survive.

“It was a mistake to return. Now suffer the consequences.” -The Ghost

    • At the start of the Trial, four Hooks are selected to be Scourge Hooks. You see the Auras of Scourge Hooks in white.
    • After hooking a Survivor on a Scourge Hook, all Survivors that are outside of a 24/20/16m range become Exposed for 30s and reveal their locations to the Killer.

    Be My Victim

The one you seek will join you in your myth of immortal death and slaughter.

“We shall die together in front of their very eyes and give them something to be haunted by. Come with me and be immortal.” -Candyman

    • You become Obsessed with one Survivor.
    • Everytime you hit your Obsession or hit a non-Obsession twice, Be My Victim gains a token.
    • A token is consumed when the Obsession performs one of the following actions:
      • When the Obsession hits a Skillcheck while repairing a Generator, the Generator explodes and loses an additional 10/12/14% progress. If they hit a Great Skillcheck, then the Generator explodes and loses an additional 2.5/3/3.5%.
      • When the Obsession hits a Skillcheck while healing a Survivor, the Survivor cries out and loses all healing progress. If they hit a Great Skillcheck, they do not lose progression.

    Judged

You seek revenge against one in particular and will go through anyone to get to them.

"And I will get him back even as he gloats, In the meantime I'll practice on less honourable throats." -Sweeney Todd

    • Any Survivor that takes a Protection Hit for the Obsession is put into the Dying State.
    • Any Survivor that heals the Obsession becomes Oblivious for 40/50/60s. (Has a 60s. cooldown)

     Hex: Survive The Night

"You won't die, but you'll wish you could." -Scrap Baby

A Hex that grows in power as the night comes to an end. Time to get serious.

    • Every time a Generator is completed, gain a Token, up to a max of 5 Tokens.
    • Every time a Generator is completed, the following effects are activated:
      • Gain a 1/2/3% Haste Status Effect for 15s. for each Token on this Hex
      • 3+ Tokens: Gain the Undetectable Status Effect for 2/3/4s. for each Token on this Hex
      • 5 Tokens: Survivors suffer from the Oblivious and Exhausted Status Effects.
  • She's not scary in a slasher or jumpscare horror sense like Freddy or Myers, nor scary in a thrilling or suspense sense like Spirit or Blight. She's scary as in creepy and unnerving, like Clown or Doctor.

  • I thought this was an insult of some kind :p

In that case its easy, Blendettes are rats.

  • TOTH+Plaything+Pentimento+4th Perk (I'd use Thana for extra cleansing time). I'm hopping on the PTB today to try this after work.

  • Not a friendship but something funny, Oni and Artist absolutely despise each other. He's super violent, she doesn't care for it. He rips out tongues, she got her tongue cut out. Just hilarious IMO.

  • The main building isn't bad, but the outside is disgustingly bad for him. You have to rely on putting it in an out of sight area and hope they aren't paying attention.

  • @GannTM said:

Wait you don’t like Pinhead’s mori?

It's not bad, but he just stands there while the chains and pillar do everything for him. I know that's his whole theme but it doesn't make it more entertaining.

  • @C3Tooth said:

Stab from behind is really bad for me (Freedy and Spirit). Along with mori that survivors standing up.

Struggle, fight back is the best (Pig and Legion).

I suggest them to change Spirit Mori that just slash them right on the floor instead of standing up.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/8VJFCF0708AN/image-1.png

Trapper and Wraith are nothing but spanking.

    Cute art!!!

My first requirement is violence- the more sadistic the better. There's some exceptions but the top 5 are the most grisly and evil Moris ingame, that's why I love them so much.

Eh...I keep seeing this said, but she really isn't. She can be lethal on some maps, but good teams will play around her and the new CoH meta really hurts her.

I'd say the only true 'S' tier anymore is Blight.

Look up Michi, you'll see what I mean. Even against SWFs she's near unstoppable played right.

  • @StarLost said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/293818/can-s-tier-killer-survive-ptb

    I wouldn't bet on it.

The only 'S' tier killer that isn't pretty OG is Blight, and he comes with a bonkers skill-floor and serious jankiness. And I'm sure his nerfs are coming.

She seems a little strong at present, and her crows probably need to be a little easier to dodge.

That said, she'll probably be Pinhead 2.0. Mediocre on release, good addons - which will then be nerfed into obscurity within a few months.

Hag is arguably S Tier, her skill ceiling is much higher than people giver her credit for. She's slept on bc she's so different from the rest of the cast (even Twins and Trapper, the Killers that resemble her most, are more focused on the chase), but an insane Hag can destroy the best teams arguably as fast as pre-nerf Spirit or Blight.

  • my-image (2).png

Still early to say with the Artist, but I love playing strategic Killers. Hag and Twins are the two I play the most, Nemesis being a close third because I LOVE RE (otherwise probably B Tier).

A Tier is all Killer I think are fun or viable, even if I'm not super good with them I still enjoy myself.

B Tier goes either way, honestly depends on my mood and rank at the time.

C is boring IMO simply because most of them are boring to play as or against OR they're easily bullied OR both.

D is for two reasons: Pinhead was B Tier but dropped to D cause I hate global warming; Myers was always the most boring Killer for me because his power is so dull and uninteractive. You just stare at Survivor and get your power, at least GF has to stealth as well. Not even his fun addons are enough to get me to play him.

  • I still hate them for it and hope they change, but the game is still fun for me. Not to mention I've done what I can against the issue (refunding Hellraiser, review bombing, raising awareness, etc). As a community effort I think the Hellraiser sales have tanked and the reviews are horrible. Will the NFTs go away? Maybe not, but they wont make the same mistake twice.

  • @JacksonWise said:

Seems to me like this combo would put survivors in a lose-lose situation. Either do Bones and deal with the effects of Pentimento or don't do bones and get punished with NOED.

Just curious if there is something I haven't thought. Also, not saying any lose-lose combo is automatically OP or unwinnable since others already exist like running BBQ and Iron Maiden.

Cleanse 1 Totem twice and Boon the rest. Great balancing Devs.

In her actions, behavioirs and appearance, I wonder if this is an extension from the Clowns elephant amd Legion's bunny costumes to integrate furries and the like into this game.

  • Untitled Image

    My reaction seeing this post.

If you recognize her, you know this is even funnier than it seems lol

  • Nurse: Sent to the brink of insanity, mercy killed her patients and a couple coworkers.

Hag: Tortured and eaten alive, forced to use black magic to get revenge and kill her captors.

Huntress: Mentally stunted, forced to live on her own as a hunter to survive. Killed people for the same reason she killed animals, went insane after trying and failing to raise little girls.

Pig: Drug addict reformed by serial killer, became even more sadistic and murderous than her mentor.

Spirit: Watched her mother's corpse get turned to sashimi, then was assaulted and sliced by her dad. Became homicidal in her final moments.

    Susie and Julie: Peer pressure.

Plague: Basically religious devotion and ignorance of how disease works.

Twins (Charlotte): Forced to live on her own hunting for scraps to survive, only killed when needed and eventually tricked via the Entity reanimating Victor.

Artist: Blamed for the deaths of her mother and baby brother, saved by the Entity and became revolutionary artist before tortured by the Black Vale and killing them + her friends.

    Nea: Is the Entity.

    Yun-Jin: Is a Karen.

Jokes aside, I think your explanation doesn't cover at least a third of the female Killers. Pig can't be helped cause license, but Susie and Julie acted almost of their own voliton, Plague's is a more dramatic version of Wraith's and Huntress doesn't know any better.

  • I know for a fact imma keep messing up and call it Hex: Pimento several times. Especially with a Latin Killer XD

Why would I take ToTH? Theoretically with Retribution you could get a maximum value of 135 seconds of aura reading, in 15 second chunks

TOTH makes cleansing and blessing up to 50% longer. Protect it and they'll spend so much time cleansing (+6s per Totem, theoretical +54s) or cleansing (+12s per Totem, theoretical +108s). Retribution is REALLY good as well.

  • @BenihimeWrath said:

Imagine the game delay with Hex: Plaything and Pentimento.

Toss in TOTH just to add insult to injury. NGL, these three and NOED are the build I'm probably running first game on the PTB.

  • Do you think if I post those pictures I'll get banned/bonked? Or can we only post pics of the Killer and Survivor in the PTB?

  • Someone put the info for the Killer and Survivor up stat: also NEW MAP POG!!!!!!!!

  • 2 reasons: Plague arguably gets Corrupt Purge faster than Oni gets Blood Fury (starts with 1 Corrupted Fountain by default, can start with up to 3 w/addons, infection is passive, if Survivors dont cleanse they're perma-injured and she can chain/extend Corrupt easily). Plague is also a ranged attacker with Corrupt.
