Nerf Whispers

With the new endgame killers can now close the hatch and then use Whispers to head to the nearest door. If Whispers fades out, they know the last survivor is probably heading to the other exit, this basically means the last survivor is screwed. This is broken and needs a nerf.

Comments

  • Just delete the killers at all

  • Survivors could also bring 4 toolboxes, and end the game in under 4 minutes. Do you see killers whine about it? No.

You are not entitled to your free escape.

  • The last survivor was allways screwed if the killer wanted it to. I mean the killer could easily keep the game hostage by slugging survivor 3 until he found number 4 and there was nothing that survivor could actually do against it...

I guess if Whispers would lose the ability to find the last survivor, the perk would become completly useless, since its only useful for finding the first and the last survivor. In the mean time, the perk is alwys lit up and does not give any information (usually).

  • Useless? You mean like Left Behind?

What are you trying to prove? Both sides have numerous perks that are close to being useless. We could even play a game. I name a useless killer perk and you react with a useless survivor perk.

    Let me start with: Unrelenting.

  • @Yamaoka : Streetwise

(i guess if we play this long enough there will be a niche player that states that whatever perk is not completly useless and claims he does use it alot)

    Haha yeah most likely.

Anyways survivors currently have 65 perks as opposed to killers (57 perks) so I guess survivors will win this one but it's interesting to see how many "near useless perks" we currently have so here's the next one:

    Beast of prey

  • Whispers entire purpose is to find a surv at the beginning of the game and at the very end. It's fine as is.

  • Dear lord.png

We are not nerfing killers any more, whispers is meant to be powerful and strong at endgame

  • @Yamaoka I got one

    Monstrous Shrine

  • a whining survivor player.

  • Nerf urban evasion and premonition .

  • Maybe when there is only one survivor left, the Entety sould sacrifice the killer. Would that be good enough?

  • Whispers is fine.

Well, actually they whine about it all the time.

Btw no Nerf for Whispers needed. Why? Because

  • Just remove all the killers or nerf their powers and make Nea the only true killer.

  • With the new endgame killers can now close the hatch and then use Whispers to head to the nearest door.

Can we also remove the killers terror radius when the hatch is closed? It lets the survivor know the killer is nearby and lets them hide, this is unfair and needs nerfs!

  • It is a rare virtue to stay silent when you read smth you don´t like. But with a little practice...

    @Hoodedfengm1n No one left behind

Sort of defeated the point by posting this too ^.^

  • I would never waste a perk slot on whispers lol.

@PunL Slugging the third to find the forth isn't keeping the game hostage. The slugged can and will bleed out eventually and you can get them up or continue to stay in stealth until they bleed out.
