I would say i play about 40% killer (depends on whos online and the daytime). Since they raised the pip treshold i am stuck in the purple ranks.
I guess i could enter the red ranks, but i would have to adjust my playstyle to much. In the purple ranks i can play whatever killer i like, even the concidered weak killers (Trapper, Wraith, Legion, Plague)and still have a solid game.
I hate camping, tunneling and stuff like that and I see it often with red rank killers, but in my humble opinion you do not deserve the rank if you have to stick to it.
It is not fun for the survivor who get picked out of the game early and it i guess it cant be fun for the killer either.

People who think that Legion is destroyed also state that Nurse is balanced...

I think it should help you open the exit gates.
I mean it would still be a complete niche perk, that only applies in a minority of your games and therefore it should be a "substantial" boost to your gate opening speed.

Game crashes can have multiple reasons and many are nothing you can blame on BHVR. Surely its frustrating, but this can happen in every other game there is.
New content is important to keep the game alive, there are not just us "veterans" with 1000+ hours, there are mostly casuals out there and the need new content in order to come back regularly (i can link you a cool explanation from the devs of Path of Exile if you want).
Sure DBD has some flaws, but overall the state of the game has improved massivly over the past 2 years that i play it.

I am a man of optimisn, but once you´re the last survivor and the ECG has started, you can only pray to whatever entity you believe in.
They failed to rework Left Behind to fit the exact situation is was designed for.

Actually if 4 people repairing the same gen they are 40% less effective compared to everyone repairing a generator alone.
Also not every 4 SWF group is the same. And a casual group of friends playing together should not be punished for doing so.
Sadly i have no better answer to this matter and i agree with you that there are SWF groups that smash even a very good killer.
I personally would buff solo survivor to a status where they have the same information basis that a SWF has, but at the extend of giving killers other bonuses (and i am deliberatly vague here).

Yeah i agree, the addons for the Wraith feel absolutly unique and allow for many different playstyles.
Would be cool if this could be somehow adapted for other killers and their addons.

(actually it was my third game, the first was mediocre, the second only had 1 red and 3 green ranking survivor and this one i saw fit. But the heading was catchy^^)

Depends how much time i have and how many of my friends are online. But i guess its about 60% Survivor, 40% Killer.

As @Nutty_Professor stated (btw do the same in a 3v1) it is your choice to slow things down a bit. It is not your fault that someone DCed after beeing downed, but it is your fault if you abuse this advantage.
If you do abuse it by playing "scummy", i can understand that survivors get upset (though i do not supprot flaming).
I mean a 3v1 can still be an amazing game. As killer you can try things that you usually do not do, commit into chases you usually wouldn´t etc.

Thats a typical thing asked in surveys, I believe it has smth to do with social competence. But better ask someone who has more to offer than superficial-knowledge^^

I am no fan of a downvote buttom either.
Its one thing to vote smth up without giving an explanation, but to vote down is smth completly different. Especially in a communtity where there are tensions between the sides.

The amount of people thinking Nurse and Billy are balanced is too damn high...
I mean think of the meaning of the word balanced...
Smth is balanced if there is smth left and right of it. You can´t balance a stick on one of its ends...
I agree with Huntress, Myers and Hag to be balanced (without the addons stated by @anarchy753 ).

@NoShinyPony i would disagree on the ruin part. This perk is just to easily removed from the game. It usually last less than a mintue.
And yeah, Dark Devotion is a quite useless perk, maybe some day it will be changed. The Devs changed alot of former useless perks to somewhat ok-ish state some time ago (i am speaking of the changes to Calm Spirit, Bitter Murmur, etc.).
@Delfador I guess its quite hard to predict what people can do with certain perks. You can see it in many games where the players find ways and synergies not predicted by game developers.

Plague is super, i mean which other killer counters Iron Will, Adrenalin and Self Care? I found that alot of people just can´t play her.
People don´t heal? Then have you ever tried to play Thanatophobia? Also her power can be used as a weaker version of Surveilance (that also applies to your totems). And it does not stop here. Have you ever searched hours for an infected survivor on the ground because you didn´t run deerstalker? Probably not, because infected survivor emmit bright green particles all the time.
I really love the Plague!

Today i made this thread just for fun and because i was bored. I followed the answers with intrest but so far noone has ever played with or against me it seems.
Then just a minute ago i play against a Leatherface with the name "Bubba the Security Guard" and was like
"hey i know this name!" and yeah, now i played against someone from the game :D

I agree that alot of killer mains should try playing killers too. I got some freinds that play survivor only and state that killers are actually overpowered.
Playing both sides helps to rise awareness and it helps getting better at the opposite role.

I played against panda I guess two times now, both during his stream (but without intending it). The first game he actually payed me some respect for good hinding, the second one he was a huntress and I just catched every axe he threw^^

The last survivor was allways screwed if the killer wanted it to. I mean the killer could easily keep the game hostage by slugging survivor 3 until he found number 4 and there was nothing that survivor could actually do against it...
I guess if Whispers would lose the ability to find the last survivor, the perk would become completly useless, since its only useful for finding the first and the last survivor. In the mean time, the perk is alwys lit up and does not give any information (usually).

@Aven_Fallen is that still a thing? If so, then it needs to be fixed ASAP, cause thats like keeping the game hostage by the killer, cause if a survivor does gens, he gives away his position.

Spirit is indeed stronger than the Plague, but nothing tops puking at survivors!
I guess i am one of the few that actually likes the Plague, she is so much fun for me, maybe she isnt on red ranks, but due to my playstyle and lack of skill im only purple^^

Still you should not only rely on her hiding ability alone, so often i just spotted a Claudette that thought she is invisible.
(but at the other hand i can´t say how much invisible Claudettes i just passed by... for obvious reasons^^)

@Peanits mentioned that althought you are a bit slower, Feral Frenzy has a much longer duration so that it will be easier to travel long distances in this mode.

If the killers hit your face you make an incredible backflip throwing you back a meter or two. But thats nothing new and there are still hatch standoffs.

@MystiKasT I don´t want to be rude, but have ever conidered that it could be your playstyle?
I try to play in a way that everyone enjoys playing with me and I barely have salty survivor. More likely I have really well mannered and humorous persons having a short chat with me at the end of the game.
And playing as survivor I can relate. You don´t get salty for that long, healty game where the killer played fair and you just didn´t make it. You get salty when you get found and tunneled / camped to death.
I don´t know your playstyle, but maybe try to change it a bit and see if the problem stays. As I said, I have a lot of really positive experiences with this community! :)

I am playing without SC for ages, i think it just takes to much time to heal and i rather play stealthy then ballsy. Therefor I go with Iron Will.

There are occasions where staying in the game is a tactical decision. And sometimes you have a different experience then the surviver. You are thinking the last one is holding the game hostage, while he is super immersed and super scared (happened to me several times).
Apart from that there truely are survivors who just want that extra like 300 BP for getting in a chase and escaping. Yeah I suffered from this thing too, it´s annoying but I guess it´s also hard to adress.
