I switched from playing on PC to PS4 and have noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of times someone will half-struggle. On PC, it meant the killer is not far enough away to safely unhook them. On PS4, people will do it right after the killer someone downs someone on the other side of the map. How many times do you have to down a survivor for them to actually die when you slug them? Anybody know? I've Google it and can't find an answer. I personally think the third time you put someone into the dying state they should just die. Gens pop way too fast for you to down a survivor five times and they still escape. I made the switch to pc gaming after playing on Xbox for years. But now that crossplay is a thing it feels like everyone is just blocked off from everyone else. Only noticed since crossplay: why does PC allow such hateful, profane, discriminatory profile names?Never before cross play on PS4 had I seen so many profile names ranging from inappropriate to downright appalling and hateful. I’m just guessing it’s PC via logical deduction because PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have pretty thorough profanity filters, and a user has to get very creative and abstract in order to bypass those respective profanity filter. Summary Add proximity voice chat. Restrict 3rd party communication apps. Allow longer range communication in game through items and perks. Why? Immersion - stick close enough to communicate a plan or you are on your own for a bit. I just want to know what you think about it. for those of you who don´t know it, noeb , or noone escapes bed(time) is a parent-perk that lets the parent see the aura of tired children. In addition to that, it completley counters Playtime!. But it has no counterplay itself, it is not a hexperk, and you cannot prevent it from activating eventually. If Distortion simply prevented all Killer Aura reading on the Survivor using it, would that even be overpowered? Honestly, I feel like it'd still be pretty niche. The most commonly run Aura perk is BBQ and having your Aura hidden every time it activates doesn't seem to me like it would compete with most of the meta perks for a slot. I just had a lobby with a 2man SWF who brought a map(hatch addons)+skeleton key. I didn’t really feel like going against that so I threw an ebony on and mori’d the two gamers who brought the items. Every update brings new, or old, bugs to the game. We have 20+ survivors and killers, and counting. Bloodpoint grind. Imbalance on both sides. No new game modes. No new items (if we get firecrackers unlocked, that’s really not new). Same ol’ same ol’. Pop Goes to Weasel is a tool to trade in chase pressure for gen pressure (more about this below), so unless the killer has a tool to catch up and get hits swiftly or unless the killer has enough pressure to not even let a single survivor work on a generator, using Pop may lose you more generator progress than it gives. The game was labeled as a Chinese DBD rip off upon release and the reason for it was that it was a 4v1 asymmetrical horror game. That's it. I haven't had any time to do the archives this month, and I'm only on page 4/9. since it's the last day of the event, I decided to put 400 auric cells so I can at least be on tier 9 of the rewards page. at least, that's what I expected to happen. for some reason, 400 auric cells will only give you 4 rewards, not 4 entire tiers. Generators provide energy. I understand that 5 powered generators can provide the energy needed to open the gate, but I don't understand how such a form of energy can just fix 2 broken generators. You can see in the game that the generators need to be repaired by hand.
