Time for DBD 2?

Every update brings new, or old, bugs to the game. We have 20+ survivors and killers, and counting. Bloodpoint grind. Imbalance on both sides. No new game modes. No new items (if we get firecrackers unlocked, that’s really not new). Same ol’ same ol’.


Wouldn’t a new game allow for writing better code to start with, allow for unrestricted fresh and creative ideas, etc. It just feels we’re beating a horse to death (as opposed to a dead one).

    Don't think they ever could do a Dbd 2. I'd personally rather they just fix the code of the current game.

    I mean an actual DBD 2, like the non-beta version we currently have :) Death garden was fun for maybe one game, but it was tough to play repeatedly (boring).

    Just letting go of all the character licenses they got? And a lot of work on the game itself. All this must be redone all over again, most likely this company cannot afford this. If there is a second part of the game, it will only be when the graphics of the first part are completely outdated and online will decrease significantly.

    I am sure that the second part of the game will be released at least in 7-8 years, that is, on the next generation of consoles.

    Even if it comes, it won't be anytime soon.

    They wanna bring DbD1 to next-gen first.

    Sequels are just cash grabs anways. No real core gameplay improvements, just ######### they could have added onto the base game.

    Besides, it would split the playerbase. That's bad.

    Or they pull-up a Sakurai with Smash Bros Ultimate, keep all licensed characters already in the game but rework the game to make it enjoyable for once

    Dbd 2 would be a copy of 1 better they balance it properly.
