This game has been in need of some more robust volume controls for a while for sure. I'd also like to see a slider for in-game chase music.
As far as I remember, this question was mentioned a long time ago on one of the streams with the developers. The answer was that it was intended so that the killer would not hear the sounds of the survivor's footsteps perfectly during the chase, so this is unlikely to happen.

If the killer wants a 4K (or needs one like for the Adept) then what else would you have them do? You say you don't have a solution, but neither do they. Nobody does, as they DID have a solution that they tried on the test servers and it was almost universally hated by both killers and survivors. I think it was the only time in Dead by Daylight history that Killer and Survivor mains were united in their hatred of a change.
It means to do something else, even in favor of the killer, if these achievements are so important. It's their job to come up with something else. But don't just leave it as it is. I expressed my opinion, at the moment this is the most negative part of the game.

The game was based on lack of information. Because SWFs used external means to comunicate doesn't make the game Early Access due to the intended gameplay.
Officially, it is. This is primarily about my subjective impressions, it seems now I feel like I'm playing a finished product, and not early access.
-
I know, but I have to admit that compared to other projects, it was sooooo slow. And this is not about some trifles, but about the necessary things for the game, which it needed all these years.
-
I support. It's hard for me to play with TAA turned on in all games, it feels like all objects in the field of view merge into something big, and are not separate, because of this, my eyes are very strained. Bring back the ability to turn off.
-
PUBG (the game has the same engine as DBD) also had such a problem and it was solved somewhere in one and a half to two months after the release of the game. Here it took almost six years. And you are so happy about it. How cute (no).

We don't know if they fixed stretched res because of him or not.
They haven't been able to do this since the release of the game, and all of a sudden it's happening right now. Leads to thoughts.
-
Same problem, I often play leatherface and this happens once in about one game out of five.
-
My query is the sixth most popular. And where is the answer to it? They just dodged an uncomfortable question for them. An elephant in a room that you can simply ignore for a year in a row, yes, even if dishonest players continue to enjoy an unfair advantage.
-
UPD.
This only happens if you are wearing a torso that "lifts" your charms higher, closer to your belt.
-
Let me remind you that the game is sold all over the world. But not the whole world lives according to the laws of the Western community. In many countries, the appearance of a character with a non-traditional sexual orientation can be regarded as propaganda, which can lead to scandals and a ban on the game. And this will already lead to an outflow of money from developers and to the frustration of players from those countries where it will be banned.
It would be better for you to imagine that this or that character belongs to the LGBT community and just enjoy the game.

LMAO
Wait, you seem to be one of those taking advantage of this and try to defend it. You know, if I understood right away, I would not even begin to answer, to people like you, I have a negative attitude. And I hope the developers will do something in the near future.

Are u that NEGATIVELY impacted by the 4:3 res that you want it removed?
And are not looking for things to just complain about?
You can find the answers to these questions above, I see no reason to repeat myself.

I mean, can u say that both
- Killer / Survivors players
- Competitive players?
This isn't about hurting one side more or less.
It's about removing it entirely which can make a lot of players & competitive players annoyed.
Not mentioning those that play on lower res for better FPS.
------
Pfff, while we're at it let's remove the ability to increase saturation & brightness. I'm sure content creators will love it. Since this can be seen as an advantage as well.... /s
What? Do you understand what you wrote before the resolution opinion and what message you wanted to convey? I, for example, no.
To obtain FPS, you can reduce the scaling of the resolution in the game menu and even lower than that available through the text file of settings, without setting 4: 3 and thereby not gaining an advantage. So this excuse is highly questionable.
With an increase in brightness, you will not be able to do anything in any game, but some things can and should be fixed.

Meh if people are that sad that they want to go this much out of their way and kill their visual quality to get an advantage in a stupid party game like DbD I couldn't really care less. It's dumb and essentially cheating but it's whatever to me at this point, it's not something that's ever gonna get fixed because honestly how would you even fix it without a lot of work. Same with Blight's flick exploit.
Yes, each player has his own attitude towards this game, but it is still PVP and there is no place for cheating.

@AhoyWolf said:
What about reworking it? So it would do at least something without add-ons.
I saw a similar proposal a long time ago, when the forum was only in steam and several times here. Nothing changed. They might want to at least remove this item from the chest.
-
@Mr_K said:
Don't believe it does. Maybe the mid chapter if you complain hard enough.
This will be the only complaint from me, I wrote everything I wanted.

@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
Playing at 4:3 resolution sounds like its own punishment, honestly.
Unfortunately, some individuals are willing to tolerate distorted image proportions for the sake of an advantage in the game.

Detective Tapp meets about once every 50 games, Adam is a little more often and Jake is also a rather rare character. Introduce another similar character so that no one plays for him?
But of course I could be wrong, I am only describing the situation on the European server.
-
I am sure it will be so. We'll get something like this. I'm looking forward to!
-
@Mastermind said:
Noone uses it because the effect isn't instant so only really usable on longer stretches of unobstructed ground, it can benefit the survivors and if you use it for map transit while you try to listen in for survivors, you're deafened by the extremely loud WOOOSH sound every few seconds.
I also thought about this until I started playing and in practice it is ineffective and inconvenient.
-
I have long wanted this for better ping and not to hear the whining in the post-game chat from such dumb European xenophobes as "valvarez4", for whom the Russians are to blame for anything in the world, including the fact that he is a noob in the DBD. But apparently it will not be soon or not at all.

If I am killer I DC while loading if Haddonfield/Ormond offering
If survivor I DC while loading if mori
If the devs don't want to balance offerings this is our only way of dealing with them. Nobody has to waste time playing out an unfun match and the offerings get burnt anyways. It's a win-win and better for the game's health.
Specifically, I have no complaints about the players. Developers must either rebalance these items, hide them, or remove them altogether. But now they are not doing anything in this direction, I want to use all the in-game items that are in the game and I do not want to waste my time in vain, that's all.
-
As it turns out, for many, this does not seem obvious.

Trapper plays for the 3- or 4- gen mid and late game, the first two or three generators are usually going to be easier for the survivors to complete in general. It's a mistake to assume that just because the first few generators are completed quickly the last couple will go just as fast, especially with a late game killer like Trapper or Hag.
This too may or may not be, depending on the survivors to a greater extent, I think. This is not an answer to my question anyway and a little help in the form of one extra trap is needed for this killer and will not upset the balance.

Idk, still remember when the game deleted my add ons for one game and i 4ked with basekit trapper
And I remember a recent game without add-ons for additional traps, where I tried to set a couple of traps and while I was doing this, 3 generators became complete.

I mean an actual DBD 2, like the non-beta version we currently have :) Death garden was fun for maybe one game, but it was tough to play repeatedly (boring).
Just letting go of all the character licenses they got? And a lot of work on the game itself. All this must be redone all over again, most likely this company cannot afford this. If there is a second part of the game, it will only be when the graphics of the first part are completely outdated and online will decrease significantly.
I am sure that the second part of the game will be released at least in 7-8 years, that is, on the next generation of consoles.
-
Her face is not scary, like Quentin's, but creepy, like she hasn't slept for 3 days and is going to kill someone.
-
That is why playing yesterday for the killer for several hours there were no games where the generators were ready in 5 minutes. I didn't understand what happened to the survivors.
-
Faced the same problem on pc, I confirm that it exists.
-
I don't know where your information comes from, but nothing has been officially decided yet.

Now I understand .. Apparently I did not pay attention to this before. Thanks to all.

Thanks, but I have level 1-63 rewards open. But 64-70 is not, although I have completed all the challenges on 4 levels of the current tome.

If you rev your chainsaw for too long Bubba goes on a tantrum. This addon makes it do you can rev for longer.
In practice it's not very useful, since it's very unlikely you'll rev for so long in a normal match.
Thanks, I thought it had something to do with active driving with a chainsaw. Got it.

There is already enough racial diversity in this game, more than enough I would say.
This game needs more GAY characters. Then everyone will be happy and contented.

Why were you looking? 🤔
Because I turn the camera around when I fix the generator and it catches your eye by itself.😐️

Just decided to try again. Two failed matches in a row with Mori = lost time, this is not what I want to get from the game. I think the best idea proposed is to make all the offerings of the killer hidden. Whether to nerf it or not, let the developers decide, I just want to get my kill animation.
-
The face of the character in the game (in the game process) looks something like this. Agree, "SH3" coped with this better. And here excuses about incorrect lighting and incorrectly located shadows are clearly not accepted. For some reason, the 2003 game did not require all this, and Heather's face always looked much better.

I think the political issues will be the biggest impediment. Russia's government is very censor-happy and BHVR is supportive of things they don't like. I doubt you'd be able to get a server there without them demanding that the game be censored.
I don’t think so. All that is prohibited by the local government in games is the mission "no Russian," cut out from a copy of the game. And the Manhunt game after one incident.
In the past few years, the government has been trying to push through all sorts of laws relating to the Internet ("make it independent"). Most likely the developer does not want to mess with this, you never know what problems will be in the future.
-
The character model looks great. Besides the face ... I think that any fan of the SH3 will be slightly disappointed. It really looks like Quentin's sister. It is not necessary to repeat the original face exactly, but it could be nicer to be honest. There are obvious problems with face models of survivors in this game, and this is not the first time I have been convinced of this.
-
Let's hope. At the moment, the faces of most survivors look like scary poorly made inanimate androids, I would like them to look like people.
-
They will not do any of this.
1. No penalties for the SWF. The opinion of the developers that you can not punish players for the fact that they just want to play with friends.
2. Developers from a country with a capitalist ideology with a market economy. Doing a SWF only for two and taking away the opportunity to play four is simply not profitable for cash income. Think for yourself why, there’s nothing complicated. Now, in this world, everything is done for the sake of money in the first place.
3. They want to make solos closer to SWF in terms of information; in fact, this is completely difficult to achieve. They will not enter voice communications, do not want to make kindered or bond by default, as this will further strengthen the SWF and so on.
4. If you find it difficult to play solo for the survivors - gather friends or look for them on the Internet. Not an option? Do not hope to win a solo, enjoy the other inside the game. Is it hard to play for the killer against the SWF? You will not get a buff, since the solos will be completely destroyed, now this is the weakest side in the game.
5. This issue has no solution. If there was, then it would have been decided for a long time. Just adapt, unfortunately, or leave.
-
I fully support. I recently created a similar discussion.

Now there are far fewer tunnel killers, thanks to this perk. Isn't that what the community wanted all the time with the release of the game? + This is at least some kind of protection from people who take you off the hook in the face of a killer without borrowed time in a public game.
Are you sure you need to redo this perk?
Or do you just want to make your game easier?
-
Since the decisive strike remade, tunnel killers has become much less, I have clearly noticed this. And this is one of the problems that most of the community complained about very often. Really worth touching this perk?
-
+
Interesting perk. But 45 seconds is really a lot. If at least 30 seconds, then I would include it in the build, but for now I’d better take the decisive strike and so on.
