I mean..not only does Unkown have to hit you twice to lose a health sate, but he has to do quickly before survivors get rid of the weakened state, and even if you do get the hit, you have to then do it again quickly or risk having to do it twice again for the down. If he was a 110 killer, he'd be incredibly fustrating to play. His ranged attack is good but its ALOT easier to dodge than Slinger or Huntress who's shots and damage are instant so it makes sense why they are 110 but unkown isnt.
-
Completely agree! After building up to a 30 minute penalty because of rubberbanding matches, I've stopped playing entirely until this crap is fixed
-
Yes! I thought it was my internet at first but realised it happened everytime a match took a really long time to load. Servers seem to be very glitchy right now
-
Its definitely a nightmare to get it, especially when you get petty survivors who dc when they know you can get them. The achievement is very outdated, like myers himself. I only got it by sheer luck
-
Whatever they're currently doing clearly isn't enough. We all know its a constant war between cheaters and developers, but from the sound of some of the interviews with hackers by Choy, they're still rampant.
-
nurse hate is like a fly in a room, you know its there somewhere and you'll hear it when its buzzing. But yeah i agree with most people here, F nurse. Hardly met any nurse players who don't play like their life depends on them getting a 4k
-
I think I've only had one game on garden were survivors lost and that was a slugging twins.
The tiles at the back connect to eachother very well, from shack to the strong loop by the car. The pallets infornt of the house cannot be mind gamed at all with the house itself having strong windows that can connect to more pallets.
It has 2 dead zones at most but any survivor who has even the slightest bit of common sense would not run to them if they are being chased. And ontop of all that, the bushes and objects have ridiculous hit boxes that screw over alot of killer powers.
It looks great, most of the maps do. The art and design team are really good with the aesthetic of how moas should look. But the balance of it is just abysmal
-
I remember the time when I would see nurse maybe once a month. Now it's at least once every 3-5 games
-
I would say it's slightly worse than before but mainly because alot more survivors seem to dc or just give up now if they go down in chase to quick
-
His true potential that Almo mentioned long ago was finally discovered, we were not ready to comprehend such power
-
Ontop of what people have already answered, there seems to be a massive increase of nurses in games now. Before I hardly would ever see a nurse, now I'd say I see her once every 3-5 games. And 90% of the time they run the strongest builds possible with her range addons and play as if there's a gun pointed to their head that will shoot if they don't 4k
-
I think simply being able to kill down survivors too would definitely fix the problem. Just grab them, drop them then kill.
To be honest though, myers desperately needs an update, so I wouldn't argue of they just got rid of the achievement entirely, even though I was able to get it not too long ago
-
@NITRAS42 said:
Dumb question, but can you get this by doing a red mori?
Unfortunately no, it has to be with the tombstone addons
-
They're a good idea but the execution of them has been pretty bad. Making shortcuts with them is fine but putting then in situations where the killer HAS to break them isn't
-
K but why leave because of what people say on the forums? You just trying to prove something?
-
I would say it depends on what these new game play changes are that they said are coming. Otherwise I agree, the core game play needs addressing as well as the meta perks
-

Haddonfield is literally fine, if anything i win on it more as killer then surv
I've only lost twice as survivor on it due to rage quitters but other wise we just loop the killer in the buildings and there doesn't seem to be much that they can do about it unless they're playing a specific killer
-
He's still good, but compared to his old self he's definitely a mere shadow of how he used to be
-
What makes this worse is that map is a remade one. The old version had the same problem and they just decided to make it 10 times worse 😐
-
Before cosmetics came into the game I used to do it, afterwards there's pretty much no point. I think one of the devs did confirm it does increase the chance of getting better items and addons buts it's so miniscule its not worth it
-
I'd would say clown. Trapper is weak but can get a good set up that can lead to a snowball effect. Legion i feel like has some sort of pressure by forcing survivors to mend and injuring quickly. Clown.....really doesn't have anything going for him, just a moderate anti loop with a slight speed increase
-
They're the kind of people who only enjoy something if they're ruining it for someone else and know that they can't be stopped. They're simply #########
-
I don't think he needs anything extra to his power except maybe have more zombies( if the games engine can handle it) wouldn't say no to him having an add-on pass though

Honestly, Survivors are not posting in such a frequency as Killers. Mainly because this Forum is full of Killer players.

Using DH over a Trap is BS, I agree on that one.
But removing the Distance without giving anything to DH would just make the Perk useless, since the i-Frames alone dont really help at all. They would just be a little bit annoying for Nurse, but thats about it.
Personally, I dont mind if they nerf it or not. I am not using DH, so for me, it would just be a win, since it is a Perk I play against when playing Killer, but which will not affect me when I play Survivor. But it would be a shame if another good Perk is kicked out of the Meta. Especially because Killers are complaining that all Survivors run the same Perks, yet they are asking for even less variety on a constant basis (at some point, only Sprint Burst will be a really good Exhaustion-Perk) and also complain immediatly when a Perk is released on the PTB which might be good (which is rare enough).
I honestly don't know where you're coming from by saying the forums are full of killer players. For every complaint about dead hard and boons there's another for blight, nurse, camping and tunneling. Plus even if they do get complained about alot, it doesn't invalidate the problems that people have with them if they have a good argument to back it up.
You seem to frequently put all killer main players into this one big category of people who just complain and can't be bothered to get better as if they're not just as many survivor mains who do this. Obviously they're are plenty of killers who do this but its not exclusive to them like you make it out to be alot of the time.
Most on here I would say play both sides with a vocal minority who main one. And both of those side have their whingers. Saying its only killers or survivors just emphasizes the toxic them vs us mentality in this community
-
Very very rarely do I see NOED anymore. You can kind of tell when a killer is going to have it when they tend to make alot of bad plays and mistakes, so i go for totems if I think they could have it.
I've maybe seen it twice in the past month
-
Taken a fair few over the years but most of them were short like only a couple weeks. The most recent one was my longest break by far and it was about 4 months. A part of me wishes I stayed away....
-
Sadly video evidence is needed to get hackers banned. The fact they shot down the idea of a theatre mode in the game when that would massively help with catching hackers is mind boggling
-
If she can't take BM after doing it to someone else then that's on her 😂 Don't feel bad at all about it buddy
-
When doctot first came out, they said he was going to break the game with how strong he was going to be. Its just hype talk
-
Im sorry to hear this happened to you mate.
Sadly there are a number of people in this community who simply get enjoyment out of making others miserable. I actually took a long break from the game bacuse of people like this. It's the best thing to really do for your own sanity
-
Not really much different from before then. I would see Nurse maybe once a day and Blight about dozen times in a row. Now its spirit and blight instead
-
Alot of the time it's because the chain hunt has activated and they stop you from solving that causes it to get spammed. It's very annoying
If a survivor tries to do it for a distraction, I'm just like "oh sweet a free chain hunt". Survivors like this tend to mess up alot with the box and end up getting downed with it
-
When survivors use it right COH is a massive pain to deal with, especially on indoor maps.
An organised SWF with it is just infuriating. The fact you have to waste time finding and snuffing multiple totems for them to only relight it about a minute later makes you feel powerless. It completely undoes alot of pressure you try to as killer if the totem is hidden well enough.
With that said I don't want boons to be rendered useless as they are quite a good idea. I think at the very least there should be a cooldown of some sort after your totem has been snuffed out to help stop it becoming over bearing to the killer
-
If its a blight, they will almost always be very sweaty. Using 4 gen regression perks and alchemists ring
Survivors that switch characters right before the game starts end up being overly cocky but also end up not being very good
If the killer catches you after all the gens are done and they haven't had a single down, they'll hit you on the hook shaking or nodding their head
When a survivor escapes a killer who tried to slug for the 4k, they'll most likely be very salty, call you bad and loads of other names
A survivor who tbags but then goes down in 5 seconds instantly dcs then waits until the end of the match to tell you how bad you are
-
If the ban is recent, yes. Otherwise I mainly dodge if I recognise the person I'm with and know they're toxic and horrible. if its a SWF and a killer I'm not very good with then i may also dodge if I'm just not in the mood
-
Have now come across the same cheater about 4 times. Don't know if its coincidence or if he generally is stalking me. He said that he's played DBD from the beginning and finds it boring so he uses hacks because, and these are his words " they have so many features" -_-
People like this are honestly the worst. They ruin everyone else's fun for the sake of their own
-
Normally I don't agree with someone saying for a perk to be removed. But in this case for dead hard, I would be more than happy if they got rid of this horrible thing. It's feels more broken than old DS with hit validation adding to its frustration
-
As much as I hate dcing, i wouldn't be completely opposed to getting rid of the penalty until they at least got the hacker situation under control a bit more
-
I've now not played in over a month now which is the longest I've gone off the game since playing in 2016, and I don't see myself coming back for now.
It was after I had another match with a hacker, he held the game hostage for about 10 minutes then when he finally left, he was joking about how easy it was to get away with it. Tried to report him with screen shots and videos I took of him but BHVRs page for reporting (which took a very long time for me to find) kept crashing whenever I tried to upload anything.
I just sat there looking at this thinking how BHVR dont handle hackers but people modding cosmetics, they immediately ban and stop them. How the mmr system now makes every match very competitive and has made the que times for me insanely long. How in the past year or so BHVR as a company(or the management there at least) seem to care less and less for Dbd and more trying to make a quick buck and pushing out chapters that clearly aren't ready.
I don't want to spend my free time on a game that takes a huge chunk of time to find a match, only for that match to most likely have a hacker that you know won't face any consequences for doing what they are doing. And if its not a hacker, it'll be some other game breaking bug that's been introduced with the last update/chapter. And if its not that, its going against very sweaty competitive people who sling insults at you regardless of the outcome of the match.
That was the moment I said to myself "you know what? I'm done with this"
-
Was one of the main reasons I've stopped playing for over a month now. This combined with a large increase in hackers and games with nothing but meta builds have just killed of any desire I had to play
-
Its because of cheaters/hackers that made me drop the game for now.
Had one last night who held the game hostage for a while which gave me enough time to record what he was doing. Reported him then went to try and submit the video I took.
Couldn't find for ages where you had to do it and when I finally did find it, the page kept crashing or just wouldn't let me upload the video. This combined with how many well known hackers still run rampant in the game and even stream it with almost no consequence made me feel angrier than anything else BHVR have done in the past 5 years of playing
This has made me uninstall the game for the time being until they actually start taking hackers more seriously. Right now they don't seem to really care unless it's to do with cosmetics. It's no wonder people resort to coming on the forums to call hackers out

He is not weak at all, it's just you getting used to the power, and that is not 5 games and you have him mastered but up to 30 of you actually trying your best to be rookie at it. He is very hard to use
I don't think in general he's weak, his chain hunt is very good at putting pressure on survivors and his addons can make his chains do some good. Its just a lot of the time it feels like there isn't much point in using his chains, not saying they're are unusable, I just think the reward for using them should be a bit higher considering they are quite tricky to use while clowns bottles give much more value with a lot less skill
-
@MadLordJack said:
I presume you don't think Clown's power is useful, either?
Clown you don't have to stand still every time you use his bottles
-
Sadly yes. Its a shame because he's actually a strong killer and fun to go against. I think loads get put off by how weak his early game is but even then he's still very viable at high ranks
-
The main problem I have with it is not really the sweat squads or sweaty killers I'll end up going against (although I'm not exactly thrilled to have that every single game) it's more the lack of information the devs have given about what actually is a win by the MMR systems standards.
If I loop the killer all game and die but did no gens is that a win? If I only did gens and escaped but didn't do anything else is that a win? If I didn't catch anyone all game but got a 4k right at the last minute because of blood warden or NOED is that still a win? If the survivors escape with a key even though I was stomping them is that still a win? And there's the fact that for killer loads are divided on wether 12 hooks or 4 kills is a win. No one seems to really know or agree what is an actual win in Dbd, including the devs themselves.
Another small thing is that they won't show you what your MMR score actual is either. Its gonna be hard to know what to expect when you can't see your own score or even guess what it is when we don't know what it's win conditions are
-
Well it is being added permanently now instead of just being tested for a few days. I guess everyone whose had a bad experience with it are just dreading the thought of this happening all the time now
-
Well to be honest it's never going to be completely balanced. While I don't agree with ALOT of the balancing decisions they've made in the past, its no easy task to do.
Something that doesn't help is that there still isn't a set win condition, so what do you balance around? The 2 kills 2 escapes method is just really flawed with how RNG based the game is.
-
Definitely killers. Survivor bugs get fixed quicker since they're easier to fix while killers can have bugs that only effect them and their powers individually which is harder to pin point the cause
-
If by gen rush you mean ignoring heals, hooked survivors and totems for gen progression then no. Making the game fly really fast makes the game feel pretty stale and anti climatic.
Though if the killer really is doing that bad at stopping gens then I don't really know what else they want survivors to do. I'm not just gonna not do gens when that it's the main objective and the only thing to do if the killer is far away chasing someone.
-
As much as I don't like this tedious blight build, they absolutely do NOT need nerfs at all. No idea where you got "he has no cooldown" from unless your talking about alchemists ring which I will admit could do with maybe getting looked at and even then it's only good if the blight can actually get the hit which against good survivors ain't easy.
This build can one hundred percent be stopped and escaped from with gen efficiency and splitting up. Blight can't be everywhere at once even with his speed.
I'm also sick of seeing this all the time when playing survivor and I don't think 4 slowdowns on blight is necessary for the most part, but that's doesn't mean it's OP or unstoppable and certainly doesn't need nerfing. It would be better if the devs just gave more killer perks that are actually more useful rather than gimmicks or have half a dozen conditions to actually activate, though for some reason you seem to think every killer perk is OP and needs nerfing to oblivion 🤷♂️
