Same Problems as Always, will have the same problems after the perk changes
The problem still comes down to a fundamentally flawed, basic system. Gens are boring for survivors but are too quick for killers. If you don't have map presence as a killer your going to be left behind. SWF's will always have a higher chance then solos, no matter what buffs are given to solos; because instant, verbal communication is stronger then anything the devs could give solos outside of eternal wall hacks for killer movement and generator placement. We need a DBD 2; one that actually fixes core problems for killers and survivors. Built in voice communication for survivors. Then you can balance killers around that. Make maps smaller overall, but large enough not to feel boxy. Give a safe loop on a map, and a juke house, but make them reasonable and not able to connect to each other. Retweak the procedural generation. Add more objectives. Change how hexes work. Make both sides have more interactivity and activities to do. I feel its the only way to actually make this game balanced is a new framework, informed by the successes and failures of the previous.

I would say it depends on what these new game play changes are that they said are coming. Otherwise I agree, the core game play needs addressing as well as the meta perks
