Well hex perks are usually strong with the tradeoff that they're cleansable so most killers are afraid that survivors are going to get OP perks that they have to search for and break on top of pressuring gens and kicking breakable walls.
If blessing totems is a big time investment then it could be fair.

Nah, at the very highest level it's just spirit/nurses with anti-gen builds against efficient swf teams spamming gens.

They should redesign it as a Trickster based map.

It can feel unfair to go down because of it but I don't think it's a big deal considering it's on a low tier killer.

All are fine except RPD. In the other indoor maps, if I see a hooked/downed survivor and I run in their direction, I will reach them. With RPD, I don't know where to go.

Deadhard and sprintburst were made to counter dead zones either early in the game due to bad rng or late in the game when you've broken enough pallets. Personally, I don't think survivor should have zero options and get hit twice in a row simply because they are in a bad area of the map.
You also have bloodlust and killers powers which can either circumvent DH by downing you in one hit (Bubba, Myers, GF sometimes) or powers where the added distance literally means nothing (Nurse, Spirit, Blight)

Not really tbh, I can't imagine Isaac in his suit running from a single necromorph and not dismembering it with a plasma cutter. His futuristic armor wouldn't fit well with the maps either.

I'm fairly sure gen rushing occurs when survivors are split off and independently doing gens not when they are bunched up together.

Shack isn't that bad imo, you're probably not going to get a hit against good loopers but you can easily remove the pallet from the equation.

Huntress, baiting hatchets at loops is pretty fun, can be sometimes annoying to get hit because of the broken hitbox tho.

We had it without the infection boost during early testing. It was really unfun to play against, so it had to change. Having played both versions, honestly the live version is far better.
I totally sympathize with feelings that it makes the tentacle less useful than it could be. But having seen what it's like in the more powerful state, we know it was too much.
Is the speed boost from the infection the same as losing a health state? If so couldn't you reduce it slightly instead of removing it?

I click to get teammates to heal me in solos or follow me etc. Don't really do it at the killer tbh. Sometimes people do it as a desperate attempt at taking aggro from a killer chasing a survivor on death hook.

Deadhard is unironically fine, it prevents killers getting two hits in a row due to deadzones and long stretches with no loops. (During the early game where those deadzones haven't been earned by the killer)

You shouldn't be "pushing them off" gens, you should be downing them and hooking them, making the rest of their team get off gens to help unhook.

Poor mobility, his power at max strength is a weaker version of what huntress or pyramid head can do at loops

You should be able to position yourself at a strong loop against most killers before they get to you. I could see it being annoying against good spirits, that's pretty much it.

I think DH is fine, it counters killers getting free hits due to deadzones and long stretches with no pallets/loops.

I don't think they were abusing game mechanics but yeah the toxicity in this game can be pretty bad sometimes. If I were you, I would take a break from the game and whenever you decide to come back try to avoid reading post-game chat.

New DS only inactivates if you do gen or other actions, so if you just got unhooked you should be fine.

Not only is his power weak in terms of getting downs, but it also has no depth or skill curve to it. It's just spamming knives till you're lucky enough to injure or down someone.

Sometimes, you'll get downed once in solo queue and they just leave you until you're on death hook and unhook you in front of killer with no bt. For those games, you aren't really learning anything

He's a killer who has no mobility like nurse, billy, blight. No anti-loop like clown, PH, doctor and you can effectively take away his power for a good amount of time just by looking at him or getting hit once.
His stealth is also countered by spine chill and open areas in maps.
Basically, he's weak leave him alone.

This is true but those two killers are the only ones that can keep up with survivors in tournament scenarios. Sure, those games aren't representative of 99% of the survivors you come across but the main point is that killers like huntress played at max sweatiness still can't compete with playing survivor at max sweatiness. I think it's not bad that killers have at least one viable option (nurse) against those types of survivor groups.

If she could make a sound every 5 seconds when using her power or something like that and the spirit would know when they're making a sound then I think she would be more fun to go against.

They're probably just trying to get a reaction from you. I don't think they actually believe they won either.

BBQ actually provides a good incentive for killers not to tunnel. The reason why some killers will go back to a hook is that they simply can't find any other survivors to chase. BBQ gives killers a reason to go to the other side of the map because they know a survivor is there.
Also, the survivors seen by the aura are usually fully healed and have enough time to position themselves in a good loop.
BBQ is a very healthy perk for the state of the game.

I won the game as Nurse cause I slugged, I had all 4 survivors insulting me and telling me I should "Kill myself".
So I can't play fair cause I lose to gens, If I play unfair, people tell me I should "Kill myself".
Just play exclusively against console survivors for a while 👌
