Stop whining killers!
Whines about freddy
How about we teach survivors that if they die but all 3 of the other survivors escape then they haven't lost.

Top skilled killers? Which ones? The ones on reddit with 100 hours on DBD complaining about the devs hating them?
Not really hard to understand my comment above but the gist of it was:
Good/skilled players used old ruin as well.
-
Just move on to the next game.

Ruin change had little change to skilled killers.
Stopped using it pre-change, won and lost then and I still win and lose now.
This simply isn't true. A lot of the top tier killers have been vocal about the ruin changes. It also depends on the killer and build you play with.
I personally have barely used old ruin but I can still recognize its importance to others especially people who play some of the weaker killers.
You can't call people who used old ruin unskilled based on your own anecdotal experiences.
-
I feel like they are way too quick as a killer. I can find a survivor instantly and down him in no time and still lose two gens by the time they're hooked.
On the other hand m1ing gens is already boring as survivor.
Perhaps a system where the longer you interact with the killer the quicker your personal gen speed is? Whereas people who don't interact and don't win chases against killers have longer gen speeds. if you're hooked it resets.
So people who don't interact do gens at 90% speed and people who do get a gen speed buff 110%?
I haven't thought about this very hard and how tunnelling etc would work with this ^
-
Have all totems lit up. People do totems and killer can pressure gens more while they're busy doing totems. If they still don't cleanse then they deserve it.
-
Nurse is actually quite rewarding if you're decent with her. There are other killers who will always be painful to play regardless of skill like clown.
-
doggedly protecting 3 gens is boring for both sides.
-
A sweaty SWF will trump any killer usually unless they throw because of super altruism.
Majority of SWFs are potatoes but at its highest level a similarly skilled killer will usually lose imo atleast.
-
I find I get revealed to easily when I play ghost face imo. Literally losing my power and having to wait 30 seconds of cooldown without addons for a cheese reveal
-
Nurses are definitely the most rare killer I go up against currently
when you try her for the first time you will get clowned and she's still very strong but the nerf made the learning curve worse.
Still there are other killers who need buffs way more than her.
-
I would say most good survivors run DS, you're playing this game to win not to be nice. It still is frustrating to go against. Yesterday I downed a survivor before he got to gate using nurse and I already knew I lost because DS timer would be enough for him to crawl away. He was literally last survivor left as well.
If they tweaked DS to not work in certain situations, I would be fine with it.
-
I don't think this fixes gen rushing completely. If you look at Otz's video, he would've still been genrushed using this idea. This would certainly help bring up low mobility/set up killesr but I'm fairly sure ppl would still be complaining about genrush after this.
-
Okay who's next after freddy since it seems first place is unanimously him
-
Don't listen to survivors, they don't know how the game went from your point of view. If they start whining just drop down a gg and move on.
Not leaving a hook when the entire team is there isn't camping.
-
kinda situational tho

Maybe unpopular opinion but I think designating a 5th perk slot solely for hex items might be a good idea. This would help with the perk disparity(the killers 4 to the survivors 16) and makes it less of a cost if you wanna bring a second totem protection perk or even multiple mains so it is not as much of a cost to lose 1 totem.
4 perks and a hex perk seems OP and would be hard to balance imo

No at the start of the game I’ve been hooked, unhooked right away, thrown back on the hook and then entity arms come out, I hit A repeatedly to struggle and it auto kills me. I’m telling you it’s a glitch or something. The game screws me over hard... it’s not fun having little to no chance sometimes. Killers can be a little too efficient and I’ve played enough games to know what balance is and killers don’t really need to make a big deal if they can’t slay every single survivor all the time. I have no problem with a lot of the killers. Speed, excessive amounts of traps (trapper), doctors range, and the combination of being invisible while having zero heartbeat indicator (Wraith) is not really fun. There’s not even a delay between uncloaking and hitting because I’m pretty sure there’s a perk for that.
Okay this is a troll for sure
-
Even ignoring balance. Playing as some killers simply isn't fun.
I wouldn't mind survivors getting buffed in exchange for longer games. The most exciting part of this game for me are the chases not doggedly micromanaging gens. I'd like to commit to some chases without half the game being finished already.

Hmm another echo chamber...
You're pretty set in your opinion, so I'll refrain from arguing on behalf of sensible and unbiased people.
You literally could've added something to the discussion but instead just wrote that 0_0.

It’s just not fun man, it’s so depleting going in and killers are just being too efficient. Can’t even play as a lone survivor because the other 3 randoms just get wrecked a lot of the time. You should never get caught unless it’s really your fault as a survivor. Traps are invisible, Doctor has insane range. Killers are too fast and I stand by that until I see some change. They don’t need to slay everyone on the map or leave us laying on the ground to
bleed out because they have their points and we risk not getting any if we back out or sit here and waste time watching ourselves bleed out. It’s just excessive on so many levels. People that play killer should just be fortunate to have 1 kill maybe 2. They don’t need to slay whole lobbies with ease like I’m watching happen. Regardless of what rank you think I am, I really do think they can be a bit much
how often do you play killer?
-
I agree that facecamping and tunnelling is bad but survivors throw out those words way too easily. Not all cases of the killer being somewhat near a hook is facecamping and usually the killer isn't making a concious descision to tunnel anyone most of the time.
-
@BulletsNonstop said:
I stand by the fact that mostly, KILLERS NEED TO BE NERFED. It’s excessive some of the things they can do and have done to survivors. the map isn’t really always entirely in survivors favor. Trapper needs a nerf👈 His traps don’t need to be ALL over the map. Doctors ability doesn’t need to reveal EVERYONES freaking position at the push of a button AND screw with your skill checks AND force you to stop and get yourself out of it - when I was nowhere even near him (I didn’t even hear a heartbeat - the range oh my)
Trapper is one of the weakest killers. He's an m1 killer and you just have certain loops denied. Dead hard and a whole load of perks counter him. Who do you consider to be a balanced killer exactly?
-
The reason T-baggers are annoying is a lot of them t-bag after playing mediocre or doing the most basic stuff like bringing a pallet down. The annoying part for me is how someone can be that cocky after doing so little.
If Its a really good survivor its still not good but atleast its somewhat earned.

red ranks killers still win. Theres always an excuse but it's never the case.
Is this also from devs or your opinion?

Killers kill more than survivors escape.
That's not conclusive. Rank 20 survivors who are trying to learn the game for the first time could account for a huge portion of that number. Red rank/purple data is whats important.
(Rank 20 survivor vs rank 20 killer) killer usually wins imo but red ranks is a completely different story.
-
I think you're complaining because you're definition of doctor being is OP is probably that you can't completely lose him in a chase and he manages to down you. If you can waste his time (which you can) then he's not OP even if he does down you.
I don't know how your games went obviously but a lot of survivors call killers that down them OP eve nafter breaking several pallets and wasting time so much time for them
-
Can't really have chill game as killer especially against red ranks. Today I had a game, where I found a survivor and downed them in pretty much no time and stilll lost two gens. Time spent looking for a hiding survivor, or checking the wrong gen costs you heavily.
-
Doctor is fine, he just forces you to play differently. I've never played doctor, only gone against doctors and he's definitely not OP.
-

Wraith, m1 killer with shiny bingbong
I haven't played wraith much but he has good mobility (therefore pressure gens), he can also body block pallets and with the right add-ons he's a decent stealth killer.
-
I do decently well with ghostface but it's annoying when people take you out of stealth early and you're just an m1 killer or you're sneaking up to a gen but someone has spinechill and they run,
wasting stalks and having low mobility is also annoying
-
NOED was made to curb survivors who mindlessly genrush and then even after genrush don't play smart at all during endgame. (usually just running around gates)
Survivors have many crutch perks aswell that are way more common and way less hated.
-
What killer do you play as usually?
-
@OMagic_ManO said:
What do you want me to do? Let the Survivor get to the gate and t-bag me after nicely letting them leave? God forbid I do something a Survivor doesn't like.
Only making this post because I've seen many survivors complain about it both as killer and me being a survivor on the same team as them. Just wanted to see if it is actually considered toxic/nooby by the game's community.
-
The funny thing is that survivor is going to act like he won just for escaping.
-
Good ideas
-
I'm fairly sure even devs admit toolboxes need changes
-
@Mikeasaurus said:
Wouldn't really call it an 'escape' personally. It's a consolation prize at most, that they didn't die.
Even though its not a win, it definitely feels like a win to survivors. I'm sure you've been T-bagged at hatch before or been told EZ by a hatch escapee.
-
@Heartbound said:
Back before the hatch was added survivors could hide forever and hold the game hostage. Then after that you had the hatch standoff.
You think you want that but you don't.
This isn't an answer, the devs could potentially design a completely different end game that asn't like it was before. All I'm really arguing for is that survivors should earn hatch in someway.
-
Don't forget a huge built-in survivor crutch. Oh no I did nothing the entire game and now my team mates are dead. Oh look a hatch!
-
When I play as survivor generally the only times NOED is annoying is when killer camps with it but even then it's usually a 3 escape 1 dead scenario (Which I would consider a win even if i'm the dead guy) unless the team are braindead and just continually rush hooked survivors until they're all slugged.
-
With NOED you're playing the majority of the game one perk down with an added risk of the totem being cleansed and you get the boost when the survivors are literally a hair away from winning.
Still not good enough for survivors.
