I thought this was fixed, but just had it happen to me in a public match (I am playing on PC via Steam)…
-
I had this as well, on PC via Steam against a Ghosftace.
-
I feel like there are too many variants for what differences there are. Also, I think there should be a hook downstairs in main if basement doesn't spawn there; I've had survivors make Springwood offerings and offerings to spawn hatch in shack, then get downed in basement where they couldn't be hooked.
-
What map was this on?
-
Same issue here as well, with Flashlights being disabled I'm kind of stuck.
-
Same for me, on Windows 11 Steam.
-
I think a better idea would be to shuffle the location of scourge hooks every time they're used. This prevents getting outrageous value from hook trading without completely killing the perk.

Same thing as survivor. Never even saw the map. All I can say is that now I am sitting on 5min DC penalty even if I didn't see the map 3x in a row.
Same, and in addition I've lost 3x addons and offerings...
-
I am having a similar issue, I get as far as the loading screen, the progress bar fills all the way, then I get "disconnected from host" and sent to the end game screen where it shows me as the one DCing. This happened to me 3 times in a row just now as Trapper. I am also playing on Steam via PC.
-
I noticed this as well. I don't remember seeing any patch notes about wiggle changes so I hope this is just a bug, it's terrible.
@Tatertotters said:
This was also happening to me whenever I played survivor, though sometimes I'd get the wiggle bar permanently stuck on my screen when hooked/unhooked... only seemed to go away when I was downed again.
Oh yeah, I've had that happen as well. Managed to grab a pic.
-
Happened to me as well. Also, I sacrificed 3 and got credit for 4 one time. Easy come easy go I guess.
-
and fix the "bug" on Surveillance that turns gens with 0 progress red while they're at it :P
-
It shouldn't do that. Have you tried posting in Optimization?
-
My therapist: Trapper snake isn't real and can't hurt you
-
Yeah, I tend to play pretty altruistic. Just had a match where the gates were open and a Mikaela was hooked across the map. I figured "eh, why not, it sucks dying on first hook" and went and got her. Ghostface downed me on death hook but she got out so I call that a win.
There was also a Jonah who just hung around the open gate and left right before I went down. Thanks, Jonah.

Question for you killers. I know most don’t like tunnelling as a killer.
But my question with the state of the game do you feel kinda forced to tunnel with health kits and circle of healing in almost ever game?
I personally hate tunnelling but it seems like some games your forced to tunnel just to stay ahead of gens and healing even though killers are at a high of being strong.
nah, if they're fully healed in 10 seconds i just go for one of the other survivors who is also at full health.
-
Yes, new chapters are probably where they get most of their profit.
-
There should be an event cosmetic checklist pinned here, if you own the characters you can check that.
-
Running Better Together (Situational Awareness) and Prove Thyself can help. I still haven't gotten that one either, it's kind of hit or miss.
-
I feel the same way about the AoT cosmetics, but they're in the game and they're not going away lol
-
This is one of the tricks I learned when I was going for her adept. it's a neat feature that you can counter if you're aware of it (at least on PC) and it makes Hag more interesting to play as.
-
It shows up if it's yellow or red, but not if it's green. Not sure why.
-
Just be happy wraith starts the match cloaked now 😂
-
It's usually recommended that you use the report feature in-game so they can look back at the match for reference.

No one's going to answer because advocating for DCs gets you banned on here
True, true....Is there a killer your wifi just happens to turn off when you face them?
-
I consider 3k + hatch to be a win as killer. As survivor, a win is either an escape or a match where I feel I played well and/or got my tome challenge done.
-
Kindred
I personally would love Kindred to be basekit but the issue is that, well, what are they going to do to Kindred to make it better. But not having it basekit is also an issue since it is healthy for the game.
Ive seen people state that the killer's aura being show by Kindred should increase survivor repair speeds, and that does seem like a good idea, but I feel like it would also just punish people going to kick gens or snuff boons near a hooked survivor, so Idk how to feel about it really.
I would say make survivor auras basekit and change the perk so it only shows killer aura. That way it would still be useful but not essential for solo survivors.
-
Depends on what you consider a win or a loss. If I'm playing killer and I 3k + hatch I usually get one or two ggs, and if I 2k I will often get more. As survivor if I die early I usually won't stick around unless it looks like an interesting match, so I usually don't say gg in that case and don't expect others to.
-
I mostly play killer, but I've been playing a lot of survivor lately! Gotta get those rift tokens.
-
That looks like a fun build actually! Not sure what the survivors are on about.

Ooo, wait, show me which laurie you'd want
Halloween Ends Laurie!
-
I would love a new Laurie skin, but I think if we were getting anything they would've announced it by now. 😔
-
Way back in the days when hatch spawned based on gens done, I had a match where it was down to me and another survivor, and when I got hooked, he found hatch and camped it until I died. Now this wouldn't be so bad, except it was my first hook and he was healthy. We had a very interesting endgame chat...

Its annoying but i feel like Badham is more of a problem.
We just need fewer Badhams imo. Not really sure why we have 5.
-
I'm also getting the Archive Error that returns you to the main lobby, kind of annoying.

50 thousand bloodpoints for each log in day and a 400 thousand bloodpoints code. Double bloodpoints gets way more in a day and it benefits everyone. It also increases the playbase and brings more people back if they quit for a while. It also benefits ALL players so I think it would make the Halloween of 2022 cool and memorable when we look back on it.
Well, sure, that's all true, but if we're going by that logic I'd rather have double shards. There are already going to be event offerings for BP.
-
We just had a community choice event where they gave out BP and shards so I don't really think it's necessary.

Really? I had him when i got the game.
I think it depends on platform, on Steam you get David, Nea, and Bill iirc
-
Unfortunately, if killer is balanced for SWF then solo queue survivors get disintegrated. There are strategies you can employ to help, but nothing works every time. However, Lightborn/STBFL/Surge/NWO are pretty reliable for pressure and will help with hook bombing.

Ace, ada, and sheva have built in iron will, adam has blend outfits, several characters have quieter than average footsteps, seems weird to me that you don't understand a mechanical advantage locked behind a premium currency is the definition of pay to win
Ace and Adam can both be purchased with iridescent shards, earned from playing the game. it may take longer than paying real currency, but you can definitely still get these characters without spending money.
-
Distortion is useful as an information perk, to figure out what the killer is running. If they have Lethal Pursuer, I'd like to know right away so I can move away from my crouch spamming teammate.
-
Different people have different skillsets. Some are better at looping certain killers than others. It's not usually as much of a problem in SWF because you can communicate your strengths and weaknesses, but in solo queue sometimes you get a poor team composition.

I honestly wish you could "equipt" chase music. That way you can chose.
It would be nice if you could choose to hear default killer music, like a toggle in options.
Personally i'm loving the new hag music, it really hits that swampy vibe.
-
I figure there's no point changing perks if they're going to go ahead with a huge change like the finishing mori, since that's going to mess with the current meta pretty severely if it goes live in the near future.

My main issue with this PTB is the 6.3.0 midchapter itself has 0 changes. No killer buffs or nerfs, no perk changes, nothing. It feels like they are too foucsed on base game changes that they forgot about everything else
I think the issue is there aren't enough developers to tackle both the finishing mori system and work on other things. Plus if they decide to go through with it, that will affect killer balance to the point where any buffs/nerfs they made right now might need to be reverted by the time it goes live.

Overhaul is quite a strong word here, since they only removed moris from mori related Perks and self-recovery from self-recovery related Perks, they didn't even make the bad Perks better, they have just been adjusted for the mori changes.
I disagree, but that's why they need testing and player feedback, right? To figure out how to balance everything.
-
If you can slug everyone within 45 seconds of the first down, yes.

I mean, this PTB is literally just to test the new mori changes, which are pretty simple, and after one playthrough you can just go back to the live servers.
Literally the most thrilling part of this PTB for me is that Wesker will no longer get yeeted to the side when a Survivor is dropping a pallet.
They had to overhaul a lot of perks for these changes, it seems like it'll take more than one match on each side to try it all out.
-
Nothing to test? Isn't the finishing mori thing going up today?
