He's too add on dependent it's takes so much time to actually hit a survivor you can be right on their back and miss because you're too high. It's frustrating. I wish the developers would stop nerfing perks and killers and add ons. Survivors mains will never be happy or satisfied until all killers are care bears. If they nerf freddy or spirit or Michael im done with this game.
-
Just focus on tracking perks and use the teams altruism against them. Nothing makes gen rushing swf slow down than camping one of their friends. Camping and tunneling is a legitimate strategy. That's why survivors complain about it because it works.

It's the entitled survivor mentality. And survivor mains who sometimes plays killers in brown ranks and think they know the game to pass a unbias judgement and determine what is 'fair'.
They usually argue that the game is designed to have 'fun'. If it's not 'fun', it's the killers being toxic.
I am a survivor 99% and 1%killer. I'm loving all the killer nerfs but it's really sad what they are doing to the killers. Cuz the voice of the majority are the survivors who have a mob mentality. And killers are viewed as the agressors who sends death threats and violate some kind of invisible rule and claim it's actually a EULA violation issue.... In a dead by daylight game.... Where ur suppose to kill ... Even the name
Dead by daylight
Death is not an escape.
It just blows my mind.
Couldn't agree more and om a survivor main former killer main. The nerfing drove me to play survivor more. Though I still play killer from time to time. Freddy and doctor and Michael at least until they nerf them.

Use the right add ons iridescent victor they kick him they become exposed or when victor charges a pounce he doesn't scream.
-
I enjoy playing clown one of my top killers. If the reload was faster it would be great. Another power with him would be awesome too for going against swfs.
-
Werewolf and a vampire
-
People are going to camp and I don't blame them. Chase will be dead. More ambush attacks and stealth and entity displeased and brutal killer. I'll play on my sons profile so I don't lose my rank. But still get my 4ks and 3ks even if the entity is displeased. I'll be 😌 😆 satisfied
-
Going to play survivor now. The game was already difficult with swfs on coms with object of obsession and ridiculous gens speeds even with undying and ruin. Im not skilled with Billy or nurse or huntress so no reason to play killers like ghostface or Michael who will never catch survivors without blood lust.

This isn't my screenshot, but apparently they're testing out the game without Bloodlust enabled on live servers. Beast of Prey has been pretty much deactivated. What are your thoughts on this?
This is terrible for new killers and all killers. The slower killers like hag, clown and Michael will be unusable alot of us will switch to survivor and become reds over the weekend those of us who were purple ranks. If you're not skilled with blight, nurse or spirit with her add ons or Billy you'll never catch survivors, especially if they have sprint burst, lithe or balanced landing. Survivor mains already have it too easy this is the nail in the coffin. 12 as a killer ranked 7 as a survivor. Why? Because it's easy.
-
Get good. Survivor main here and its so easy to escape. Just hard to pip if you're not doing enough hexes and making saves. I play killer and its extremely hard to stop gens and get enough points to pip. So I wanted less stress so I started playing killer.
-
Going to try this build I think I have trail of torment with Michael as per usual the gen rushing is insane at all ranks being able to get successful stalks in without 3 gens going in the first minute in a half is rare. Great ideas and good build!
-
Couldn't agree more. I've become a survivor main over the last few weeks because it was stressful trying to break the red ranks never got past rank 6th and I have cross play on. Its alot easier and relaxing than killer. Plus 3rd person makes it easier to see versus first person.

I am a non creative degenerate so I have no ideas. What about you guys?
Update: I came up with something.
THE HIKER
Elliot Depp was an adventurer. He would sail the biggest seas, explore areas unknown to man. When he finally took the challenge to scale Mount Everest, tragedy struck. A scared villager shot him in the face with a bow, mistaking him for a threat. Elliot survived, however. He Woke up weeks later, his body frozen. He did not know why or how he was alive. He found the villager's home and slaughtered everyone in the village. But then everything started to spin around him. He collapsed onto the ground, which was strangely covered in dead leaves. A warm bonfire burnt behind him. He didn't know where he was. He only knew to kill.
Power: Depp's calling
The Hiker has the ability to climb structures. While hanging from a climbable surface, The Hiker can perform a special attack. The Hiker gains the UNDETECTABLE status effect while climbing. After 30 seconds of hanging (staying still while climbing) The Hiker gains the new CAMOUFLAGED status effect, cloaking him until he moves. While hanging, The Hiker can look around freely.
Special Attack: Strike From Above
While hanging from a climbable surface, The Hiker can fall and slam the ground, putting anyone he lands on into the dying state.
Hop: The Hiker can climb atop some walls and hop onto nearby elevated surfaces. He can also use Strike From Above while perched.
Perks:
COLD BLOODED
Your body is fueled by an unnatural, untiring fury.
Every survivor who escapes you in a chase gives you a token.
Next time you are in a chase with a healthy survivor, you can activate this perk and spend one token. After a brief fatigue period, the survivor suffers from the EXPOSED status effect for 15/20/25 seconds.
"It's not over yet"-Elliot Depp
HEX: UNPHASEABLE
The entity has strengthened you greatly. The following effects persist as long as the related hex totem is standing.
You cannot be Stunned or Blinded by any means while this Hex is active. Struggle timer while carrying a body increased by 25/50/75 percent.
You gain no bloodpoints for destroying pallets, regardless of if this perk is active or not. While Hex: Unphaseable is active, you break pallets 50% slower than normal.
"You fools have only strengthened the beast!"- Text from a Tibetan monk tribe's tome
FLEETING LIFE
One Survivor per trial becomes your obsession.
Over the course of the trial, the obsession will slowly become injured, then injured/broken, then suffer from a movement speed reduction, then finally be put into the dying state. The effects progress to the next stage each time a generator is completed. (With perks like Nemesis and furtive chase, this perk allows you to have multiple obsessions per match)
If the obsession works on at least 0/1/2 generators that get completed later in the match AND heals at least one other survivor, a new survivor becomes the obsession. No Survivor may be afflicted by this perk more than once per trial.
Tell me some improvements I could make!
A giant spider that chases the survivors and can shoot webs out and bite survivors. As his or her attacks

Nowadays those maps are ez-pz at purple, i can't seem to actually get a challenging match. However, if you need help go buy thrilling in the shrine, its really good at tracking and meh at stopping gens because if a gen is close to popping but no one is on it that gives you time to get to the gen and pop it.
I have every perk known to man for gen defense and i use surge, pop , ruin, undying, Thrilling tremors even the pig with the traps, freddy and the doctor and 1 minute into the game three gens have popped maybe I have one or two people hooked and the game is over.

Spirit needs a nerf. Yes, I’ve been around Dead By Daylight for quite a long time so I’m already aware that she already got “nerfed” as in fixing her vaulting animation, no collision hitbox, and prayer beads but... she’s still almost uncounterable if a player has Stridor and at least $15 headphones. It’s literally dumb how Stridor counters Iron will that’s just my opinion. Yes I get it she’s the supposedly “Only viable killer at red ranks” but c’mon. There’s already killers like pyramid head and deathslinger who make the game unfun and I agree now why people in 2020 still want her nerfed.
No She doesn't. I've lost so many games trying to use her. It takes skill to use her and pyramid head and Deathslinget so the few that are good enough to use her. Cheers to them. Theyvr earned it. You have three other teammates and three exits and a ton of second chance perks and keys. Huge maps with spread out gens? Survivors already have so many unfair advantages. You Can talk to other Survivors see the killers auras and share perks with other survivors. You get a speed boost for getting hit and hour before you die on the hook. Now you want to nerf another killer smh

I really legitimately think Doctor teaches fresh killers a lot of bad habits and hinders their growth as a killer because they don't learn the fundamentals that are finding a survivor, knowing how to cut loops properly, but he is a fun character with neat cosmetics.
It's just...once you know where survivors spawn, how to run tiles etc you really don't need the Doctor's power. You can play Nurse or Huntress or even Trapper and get more of a result. You can really tell when a Doctor has molevision because good lord he struggles. He'll use his static shock, assume nobody's in the area when you're right on the edge of his terror radius and never looks around for survivors in the distance. Calm Spirit breaks those Doctors no matter what they run. They don't have the skillset to sniff you out manually.
Probably Doesn't look around because he or she doesn't have time because the gens pop so fast. He has to manage his time efficiently and effectively. Hex undying and ruin will tell him where you're and continue shocking so those with bad eye sight don't lose the game spending 20 minutes trying to find a survivor hiding behind a tree or in a locker or in the tall grass.

Lol I'm a pyramid main and I think the cages are his weakest aspect. This might also be because I get a hit with my power 90% of the time. The only use I see for his torment is to be used as a super fast mori, negate unhooking perks, or put pressure on a group of closely packed gens. With his power, being able to put pressure on basically every loop is much more important to me, and I'm able to predict and hit through walls fairly accurately
They really hurt PH when they took away his ability to see cages smh is he still able to mori people after the third time of being hit with torment? Or did they nerf that too? He has a hard time moving and his attack is like deathslingers basic attack which is useless for the most part. But they insist on making him so weak that no one will use him anymore.smh all because of whiney crybaby survivors mains. I also play survivor and i know how easy it is to get away from any killer. Three doors and a key. Its rare that I don't escape with unbreakable and deliverance and ds and soul guard and borrowed time its hard to not escape unless I spawn by the killer in the beginning. Thats the only time where I might die as a survivor depending on if my teammates are selfish or incompetent

They don't care. They've had 3 months to take on board all the feedback but the only feedback they're taking on board with these changes is the survivor feedback. I know people will defend them and say they aren't bias but in this case it's 100% true, the only thing being addressed with these changes are the complaints survivors have had, case in point everyone here telling them his power simply isn't good enough and that the cooldown was never the issue but these people basically get the finger.
The only reason they left PH as he was is to sell the dlc. Now that a new killer is out they can just nerf PH into the ground and leave him with all the other discarded killers.
People wanted this license for ages in the game and this is how Behaviour Interactive treats the IP. It's disgusting. No wonder nobody takes them seriously.
Wow! Well said couldn't agree more! I hope the developers read this and go about being fair to killer mains.
-
They should stop nerfing and buffing at some point. People should become better. Both sides. The complaints will never cease it is impossible for everyone to be happy about whatever decision is made. Get rid of deadhead and DS and unbreakable and soul guard if you are going to nerf ruin and all the killers perk and killers in general because survivor mains cry. Every killer should be at 4.6 and there powers should remain thr same as they were first created. Survivors perks should remain the same as the beginning of creation and people should just get better at the game.

Pop's duration is being reduced because we found you could spend too much time doing other things and still have it available.
This makes playing killer even harder than it was. When will you nerf some of the survivors perks like unbreakable and decisive strike?

I'm pissed not for the build itself but for the fact that people can't create their own build, I was one of the first using this build in ptb, and now if I'm facing a blight, oni, billy etc. I already know their perks, zero creativity just a copy and paste community

People are saying it's the brain dead killer meta but, ruin only works if the killer is applying pressure. Immediately the opposite of brain dead. Tinkerer I can agree on as it doesn't really require input, but it's not very powerful. As for undying, just do more bones! Save a perk slot and equip detectives hunch, your team will thank you. Plus there is a 50/50 chance that you cleanse undying first.
Please keep this discussion civil, as I don't want to start a flame war.
Because That's all survivors mains do is cry until the game is to a killer is nerfed or a killer is so that its easy for them to walk out three exits... they 16 total perks and 3 other teammates running unbreakable spine chill and Ds and soul guard with healing add-ons or a tool box and detectives hunch with deliverance and borrowed time but they still find a way to cry and ask for it to be easy instead of coming up with strategies and perks to counter it.
