Hello, thought about this before, but with the server downtime today and news of Deathgarden's demise, it's got me wondering. If the worst SHOULD happen to DBD and there was a decision made to pull the plug on dedicated servers, would it be as simple to switch back to the old manner of playing with killer hosting, or would the game end? The Killer might need to be less appealing to choose than the Survivor to some degree . Because of the 4-1 lobbies. Of course there's people who play both roles, and of course there's people who don't mind switching sides in a time where a side is lacking players. Only a few hours left before the Shrine resets and we haven't gotten any confirmation if this perk is getting changes or not from the PTB. I hate spending points on Killers I'll never play and use the Shrine every week and don't want to find out on release this perk is still giving you Undetectable, it'll piss me off it doesn't change and I'll have to play Huntress to unlock it. I was a killer main, but have been shifting to survivor because there's less stress and earning the same BPs isn't that hard. Well, one incentive to playing killer is that it's easier to get stacks for BBQ than it is WGLF, but that will change with 3.4.0. I started playing Huntress this week, now I can finally say I play all Killers, she is super fun and rewarding when you get hatchet hits off, I get a lot more people DC'ing when I play her normally than most other Killers, my question is as I'm leveling her, any good builds for her? Lately due to nurse nerf and stuff taking place I decided I'd try the survivor side more as I simply wasn't in the mood to get tbagged, flashlighted, etc. By survivors the whole time. I've come to understand though that solo survivors have it way harder than killers but not for the reasons you might think. Let's be real, leveling up on the rift is super difficult because it takes so much time. Despite of what they say, I don't believe they REALLY put much thought or research into defining how much xp you'd need in order to level up.. At less for someone with a life (aka school/work). I consider myself a decent survivor and can loop OK I guess. So I tried to play the ptb the past few days and I have really big problems with the Oni. I just can't dogde his attacks and once he is in demon mode he often snowballs heavily and slugs 2,3 survs. While the others try to save or pick them up the Oni reloads his power and all starts again. I am just curious why it is okay to have a killer in the gray ranks (noted to be full of new players) with full maxed out perks from at least three different killers that each need to be level 35 to give out the perk as a teachable. Just got into a match against a Huntress and after half a dozen bullshit hatchet hits I just gave up on hook. The Killer started farming with the other two Survivors (someone else also suicided because of bullshit hitboxes) and I literally watched her hit a Survivor THROUGH a gen. While a killer meets the requirements for Proximity to the Hook (where there aren’t any survivors within 16m of the hook), all survivors should receive a 100% increase in repair, healing, and mending. So in Peanit's most recent post with the new stats there was a graph with nurse's performance on pc showing she didn't drop that much when it comes to killrate. Why can't they show us the console stats for nurse? Are they too low and if so how did the nerf affect them? As someone who didn't have an opportunity to earn these cosmetics back in the day I'd love to see them make a return in the form of an advanced prestige system. It wouldn't be hard to implement and it would ensure that any owners of the skins still had to go through the same trial that is the old bloodwebs. As for now grabs are pretty much broken on the dedicated servers. If the leaks are right, in the third level of tome 1, there will be a challenge requiring 6 grabs. Stop chasing survivors for more than 30 seconds, don’t chase a survivor you just hit if someone else was on the gen, drop chase if you catch someone on a gen, perks are in the game to boost you where you fail so if gen rush is a problem for you then you should try ruin or PGTW or even both. Two words. TUNNEL VISION. Now I don't mean "tunneling" in the standard DBD terminology. Tunneling is when you go after a survivor that was just rescue from a hook.
