the problem is the draw-back is long-term so late game it is completely op

yeah that sounds useful for endgame hook

i get to play on average one day a week and im okay with grinding
-
grinding gives you a goal
-
imma ask a question
how many people, who lived in the days when most games you had to grind, complain about grinding
-
but hey who cares what a mid-rank survivor has to say anyways
-
but i'll be honest i haven't played against an oni yet so i cant make a fair opinion
-
and if i remember correctly on pc if u use the keyboard correctly the oni can one-hit someone behind him which shouldn't be a thing, lol. Also, me, my friend, and some other people on this forum agree, oni would be more balanced if a hit while dashing counted as a regular attack and if he wasn't dashing it would be one-hit

Ok rank 20 survivor
Next time you encounter him, use tight corners, windows and generally loops before crying for nerfs
you sound like an entitled killer
-
doesn't legion have the strength of all four teens?
-
hold on on sec
before we say which role has got it the worst
we need a side-by-side comparison of all nerfs and buffs

I haven't played Oni since I'm a console player, and console players don't have access to the ptb, but he doesn't seem that op. I'm mean, it's just Myers with extra steps.
except Myers can't dash all the way around the map before his power runs out

Call me crazy, but I didn’t really mind the old MoM that much. The way I viewed it, you already have to land 20 or so hits to win a match give or take a few, depending on which killer you’re playing. So you have to get a couple more, big whoopty whoop. Most people wasted it anyway, or allowed themselves to be in a bad position they wouldn’t normally find themselves in just to get stacks. Because if they didn’t get it until they were on death hook, it was game over. They would have to spend the rest of the match injured, or permanently reveal their aura. I won a ton of matches because of that aura reveal coming in clutch at the end. Don’t get me wrong, it could be a serious problem with insta heals. But, on its own...meh. I wasn’t too worried about it.
see that's what i thought about it

First of all, MoM in it's vanilla form was disgustingly overpowered. It needed a hard nerf like the one it got. Now the nerf went too far but that's almost only because of how inconsistent protection hits are at registering stacks of MoM.
Killers usually ######### about survivor perks if they are OP if I"m being completely honest. Decisive strike? Was pretty much 100% use rate. Granted a free escape that barely had anything resembling counterplay.
Mettle of Man? Same thing as DS. Gave a free hit for doing nothing but just playing the game and had zero counterplay.
Balanced Landing? The passive on it should never have existed. Exhaustion perks are not meant to help you during exhaustion. It made Haddonfield an even more survivor sided mess of a map than it already is.
if you take off the passive on balenced landing for haddonfield it makes the map completly unfair for new survivors

Meaning rather than hooking Survivors I found, I decide to down one Survivor and move to the next, the goal is down every body, hence the term 'snowballing', you hit one person, down them, move onto anyone in a close proximity and get the most downs you can.
Everyone is a comedian, you know. Snow.
ooohhh

snowballs should be a winter event special item where if you equip it, you get five snowballs to throw in a game that do nothing but are for fun. i'd love to throw a snowball at a killer

now what would be op is fixing a broken pallet
-
oni's first and last perks are really good too
-
AMN may be good but my favorite is breakout holy cow that is useful
-
but i bet you that AMN will get nerfed
-
MoM required them to get hit so i feel you would benefit from it unless they have dead hard and a pre-nerf anti-hemorragic needle
-
but so many killers already think it's not

I read every Lovecraft Mythos stories. My issue with adding any creature is that they aren't killers they are monsters. And many of them are more powerful than DBD's Entity.
Someone mentioned the Creature from the Black Lagoon, andmaybe a Shadow Over Innsmouth type of killer could work.
Maybe Lovecraftian-inspired could be the way. Someone that served the entity in life. Could even be tied to Vigo or another character already in the lore.
Pennywise is too powerful to be caught by the entity, right? I don't know maybe.
But I am glad to see your opinions. I thought Chucky would be silly but you guys shed some light on him. Could work. :)
do we even know how powerful The Entity even is
-
noob killers would automaticlly have an advantage over noob survivors who dont know to look around
-
or think about it this way
-
if undetectable make s detection perks like spine chill and premonition not work then the stealth killers would be over-powered

@TheLegendDyl4n1 said:
its the basis of his power, lets compare him to the first killer, the trapper. The trapper's power is placing down bear traps where a survivor can get caught in, and if thier smart they will disarm them. With legion, his power is going into a frenzy and hitting players, causing them to go into the borrowed time effect, it's annoying to go from healthy to negative 2 health states that require mending and healing to get back up. but you might argue that trapper's traps can put survivors in a difficult position where they have to get out of the trap, run away, and heal. This annoying but that is what he does, he traps survivors to chase one at a time, the legion has a choice when he uses frenzy, he either uses frenzy to injure a survivor and then get out of frenzy to down, or he leaves the survivor he found to injure more which is annoying because it makes games much longer due to survivors having to mend, and then heal. So, basically if they were to change his power to something completely different, and didn't make games so long, it would be less annoying to deal with. you may take it one survivor at a time, but most put everyone into the borrowed time effect, and run sloppy butcher which also makes it longer to heal, so when i see a legion that has good game sense, i let myself die because i would rather go against a trapper that takes good skill to use than legion where his power is so annoying to deal with i'm not scared or stressed in chases, just annoyed. In my personal opinion though their is no coming back with legion, he will remain the most hated and annoying killer, to go against, in the game due to the fact of how he was when he was released.

Well legion is a weird one since you have to treat them like plague since most legions run SB or Thana or both to make healing take ridiculously long which just buys them a lot of time so most survivors just don't heal unless they have good med kits because of this it leads to them being a T3 myers without the vault speed. But you can just not mend in their TR and do gens since the mend timer doesn't go down off of chase anymore. So I can agree that they are annoying to go against but they are still a bad killer. Personally I feel that there are more annoying and worst things to go against like prayer beads and iri hatchets which just makes the game un fun.
great answers both of you

I'm not upset that the devs delayed the event to fix bugs, I'm glad that they don't want to release a broken event.
What I am *mildly* annoyed about is that they waited until last second to delay it. I was excited to play the event and then the evening before they delay it, and now it's been almost a week since it was supposed to start, and we still don't know when it will be out.
I'm not mad with the dev team, just disappointed.
it makes sense to be dissapointed. i think we all are, at least a little bit
-
for us to know what's going on is them being nice companies don't have to say anything at all they have the right to say shutup and play the game. if you dont like it dont play the game
-
if they dont know what the problem is then its probably a small problem that's causing big issues and since it's small it would harder to find within all the code in the game.
if they don't have enough ppl then everybody is busy
-
i understand but devs get enough of this already
-
and somebody please close this thread so we can end the hate
-
thank you for this amazing game
