I totally get the part about the communication on our side but we weren't able to communicate about it sooner because nothing was sure about what we wanted to do. So the community team was on hold until we were sure to have more informations about what we can communicate to the community.

I totally understand the frustration, people were excited to get this event but we can't predict when something like this is going to happen. We do our best everyday, our team is working hard to get the issues fixed as soon as possible. People have to understand that being mean or talking rudely to the Dev teams won't make things go faster or help the situation. I am not here to tell you what to do but I am here to give my perspective/opinion about negative comments and the situation.
I'm repeating myself but we are all humans and we all have emotions, sometimes it can affect people more than you think...
Like I said at the beginning I know this can be frustrating but I really hope people understand that we are not delaying this just for fun and that we are working really hard to fix the issues as soon as possible.
Much love
<3
thank you to the devs for keeping a level head it take a special kind of person to do that
-
and honestly why is any body making such a fuss about it there is literally nothing we can do about it we aren't one of the devs
-
they are justified in delaying the event
-
i fully support the devs

I'm sorry, but having a Halloween event that isn't out in time for Halloween is inexcusable. It really is. Halloween for DBD is like Christmas for most things. It is the biggest event of the year. If your parents told you that Christmas was going to be a week late when you were 9 years old, would you accept that? But some of the presents they bought had problems so they needed to send them back to the shop for repair...
BHVR should never have tied the Halloween event to a new system if they couldn't reliably get it out in time. Quit making excuses for them.
how do you honestly believe that. how are you able to have such a low image and disrespect to a company who would rather have a late event but you still be able to enjoy it than release on time and it be so full of bugs that it crashes the game.
and if my parents told me that christmas was going to be a week late, i wouldn't have cared because i'd know it was still coming.

My favourite map is Gideon, and I enjoy that with both killer and survivor.
Hawkins on the other hand, is utter chaos. It's an authentic map and looks great, but it's ruddy huge.
honestly i kinda enjoy hawkins

Doctor, easily.
His power is to annoy the survivors. That's it. There's no mechanical usefulness to it, and its effects wear off overtime, meaning you constantly have to prolong chases to keep putting people in tiers of madness.
It detects well, but there are other powers that are way more useful or force the survivors in more precarious positions. The Plague forces survivors to be injured the whole match, and has huge snowball potential. Freddy has actual mechanics that can trick survivors.
The Doctor? He can't trick survivors on a good day. Fake pallets are worse than Freddy's as it doesn't force survivors to commit, and you can't strategically place them. The images of the doctor do little, as they just stand there (maybe if they rounded a corner at the survivor it would make them hesitate, but as it stands, its useless) and they only work as a second detection perk.
All in all, Doctor should be way more scary, but his mechanic just does too much that does too little.
i could not have said it better myself

i dont play as the other two
-
ok i like playing as legion i think his feral frenzy allows him to get across he map fast if he needs to, so gen patroling is easier. pair that with discordance and gen rushing is impossible, so i dont see why legion is so hated.
also i play the demogorgon too and his portals allow him too apply incredible map pressure and his shred helps to cut down on pallet looping
-
you can learn so much about the game
-
see this is why i use forums

-
yeah im a demogorgon main
the cooldown is awful
-
true but what if they got rid of that and put this in
-
thank you
-
ok how do you make polls interactable
-
im new to forums
-
how
-
please
-
overall i find him a decent killer
-
i'll say a longer range would be nice but even without it, shred is still incredibly useful in many situations. you can hit people before they can pull down a pallet if timed right, long narrow paths or basically when you get close. what they need to fix is the lunge hit box. when i use him it never hits but other people hit me from five feet away it is really bad
