I took a break from survivor to nuke on Ghostface, and was averaging 4k for about 7 games in a row. Decided to hop back on since the update, and EVERY round has consisted of Face-camping to the point it is obscene. Players were running BUBBAH and I gotta admit, unless you're running bully squad, survivor is just exhausting. Artist? Maps right now are really weird. They don't do much except Show you gen auras in a reach where you can already see them. They are useful to find totems and the hatch but this item could be so much more. So why don't change it to work like a real map. Not just the occasional bad team, im playing with survivors who cant even hit skill checks on a consistant bases something i havent had to experience in 3 years. We got a lot of really nice skins this mid-chapter update, and I like how Tomes are now being themed around stuff (and cosmetic releases as well), it provides a nice sense of order with the Rifts (and also helps give each Rift it's own unique identity). Just played on red forest and wanted to see how many cross map saw charges I could do. Honestly not bad at all. Probably can be even more with the common to increase chainsaw overheat limit by 20%. He feels very solid and I have no real complaints for him besides some of his addons ofc which I hope will be changed around in the future. I came back playing dbd and I just realized, after the medkit nerfs, that most of its addons are now useless. I mean some of them have been for a while now (surgical suture im looking at u). But now every single “extra charge” addon is basically useless without the iridescent Gel Dressings, as any combination without it doesn’t add up for another full heal. Killer main here came back a few weeks ago. Been away from the game for a few years thought I would give it another shot. Been having a blast learning new killers and perks averaging 1 or 2 sacrifices a game. How common is this in the DBD community? had a game as killer the four survivors did not attempt to get one gen instead they ran around me using flashlights, even when I knocked one down I had hardly no chance of getting one to a hook and if I did manage it they were very quick to get them down. Getting slugged isn't fun it's more just extremely annoying not even picked up just slugged and waiting to bleed out seriously if nothing is happening for the entire match like the killer isn't picking up or simply doing something to progress the match further survivors should have a give up button or be able to return to the lobby. Okay I could be running the killer around for let's say two gens that's my record of gen running I end up on hook and so on I get rescued and healed and start having to run the killer again now here's the kicker a teammate could see I'm injured and just turns a blind eye completely healthy but they still turn a blind eye. There are 4 medkits that do the same thing. The only decent addons are as follow: syringe, styptic everything else is eh Gel dressing is useless on its own and its waaaaay worse than syringe how are they still same rarity. Why are no medkits or addons for that matter affecting healing of other survivors in meaningful way? One of the killer perks I've been running more recently is Save The Best For Last (STBFL) and I'm liking it. It's easier to chase and can catch up faster and at 8 stacks you feel unstoppable. It's also a good counter for people trying to body block a hook your trying to put a survivor on and most of the time I get a lot of value from it. All of the matches I’ve had since the update yesterday have been killers tunneling the first person off hook and out of the game at 4-5 gens, running sloppy and thana and camping the hooks. Had two trappers back to back today (different killers) using their traps to guard hook and then standing there next to hook and camping it to prevent any attempt at rescue. This Update 3 Gen Regression perks got nerfed because they where basically in every Match. I understand that some perks when they are too strong have to get nerfed but... Does BHVR not see the real problem or do they just ignore it? As someone who was 50/50 surv/killer, I personally preferred the old meta. I understand that matches could go on for a while with gen regression, but anything is better than sloppy every match with medkits that don't even manage two full heals and sprint burst with gen rush builds. Why do survivors bounce up and down like they've desperate for the toilet and run around the killer like they're being chased by angry bees when the killer is clearly not playing especially when exit gates are open? I swear, every game after the patch, killer games contain at least 1 or 2 BNP, there are no more effective perks to regress generators so they are going much faster than before, especially now that so many are using the green box with BNP . After hooking a survivor, I leave the hook (so someone comes to rescue) and patrol the nearby area until the survivor is unhooked then I immediately return back to hook to tunnel. I'm finding it's the best strategy since when I tunnel, the unhooker often follows the hooked survvior around to protect them, so I am occupying the time of 2 survivors. With BHVR giving the rift for free with Prime Gaming, it means having an extra 1000 auric cells. 1 licensed character is 500 auric cells. Survivor dont use deadhead like before. The match was really long, as I was using hit and run and slug playstyle. Still, was facing swf tho, their coordinated healing still good tho.
