This was a reminder of the rules; bumping of posts is not allowed. No wit here, trust me.
So cheating is not against the rules? Maybe you guys need to deal with that first or else you won't have players.

What stops killers from abusing this new mechanic? What if they let the bar fill on purpose so they can tunnel someone out faster than normally? Blight and nurse can down and rehook someone faster than the time it takes to progress a hookstage
Shhh don't tell them what the Bubba's are going to do now.
I'm going to have a blast the first couple days

Ironically speaking, bubba will still be the best face camper, since he can eat through basekit bt and again with one chainsaw, guaranteeing the down
Funny how the survivors don't understand he will let ya off the hook and chain saw them down right away.

Creates an easier tunnel. Forces players to stay on their gens, which makes a less interactive game for everyone.
First down gets taken out of the game in four minutes with maybe 7k bp at best.
Other players spend the first four minutes mashing gens or maybe try to take agro from a killer that uses their natural speed increase and blood lust to ignore them to the tunneled survivor.
Killer gets "gen rushed" because of the tunnel taking too long or maybe they end up playing a competitive game after that. Probably depends on if they're up against SWF.
That's my take. More interaction is better for the game as a whole. Killers need to adapt or die so to speak.
How is tunneling bad? I eliminate one of the 4 survivors making it easier for me as a killer.

If the survivor is in that zone, the killer is allowed in that zone. The meter fills up significantly slower if there are any survivors in the zone.
The issue is that it still goes up not down
-
16 meters is fine that's the very edge of usual proxy camping I just hope that zone does not get bigger. Issue I see is survivors s running through that zone to escape you.

Not really. Camping also includes proxy camping.
How is proxy camping a bad thing?

Whiny survivors make killers using expoits and tunnel/camp? It something similar like your girlfriend says "I cheated on you because you didn't give me enough attention, so it's your fault!"
Mediocre trolling attempt, try better.
I fully agree on the face camp changes. I proxy camp that's part of the game. I don't try to tunnel but it's not my fault I run right into the survivor trying to do the same gen they got hooked nere or try to heal right nere that hook. Sounds like a skill issue.

6. It will be a great start. Maybe needed tuning later, but devs focusing on a huge mechanic problem, although all bad killer players will be whining for days, but F them, frankly. Good players won't notice, game could be more enjoyable and healthy. Next stop: tunneling.
Is it not whiny bad survivor players that are getting this put in the game in the the first place?

The argument is always “if survivors didn’t have/do X, killers wouldn’t camp or tunnel.” And every time BHVR gives in eliminating X, killers still, somehow, miraculously, camp and tunnel. 🤷♀️
You can reverse that and it be correct too
-
I just want to say one thing the devs are doing good I'm having fun yes I get games that are frustrating but guess what? Every multiplayer game feels like that.
You know why tunneling and camping feel worse mind you they have always been a game strategy. It's because your Crutch DH hot nerfed so now survivors have to learn to play better just like all the killer nerfs made as change out builds and play styles.
It's 4 v 1 it should not be even.
They only suggestion I have is maybe a bonus BP to all survivors if atleast one survives?

Whether camping and tunneling are legitimate strategies is irrelevant. It doesn’t change the fact that those strategies are incredibly unfun to play against.
And so is survivors whining that we should spread out hooks out and let them do gens.
If your being tunneled why not learn to waste the killers time?

It wasn't much of a suggestion but an observation
I don't want it to go too far
But... Killers that are Tunneling should be blind and lose Bloodlust (Just a thought)
And... Killers that are Camping should lose the hook meter/ the hook timers should be longer
After that see what happens
So survivors on gens after a bit auto fail or get fatigued. gotta love one sided suggestions.

Survivors: camping and tunneling are a problem.
Killers: gen speeds are too fast
Devs: adds base time to all gens
Killers: DS is unfair
Devs: nerf DS into obscurity
Killers: dead hard is op
Devs: nerf dead hard
Killers: dead hard is still op
Devs: nerf dead hard again
Killers: healing is too powerful
Devs: obliterate circle of healing and global self healing nerf
Survivors: so, uh, can we do something about the camping and tunneling thing?
Devs: here's a HUD so you can see your teammates opening chests.
Killers: since this works so well, gen speeds are a problem again.
This is the definition of moving the goal post.
Seems you are missing a huge chunk when all those killer perks got nerfed into the ground and no circle is not useless in a group it's even more powerful then before.
-
Because I got a daily telling me to heal 4 Heath states.
-
Can people just give it a break no wonder why no one wants to play killer ya use a perks it's called op and people learn to play vs camping.
-
Wait a minute killers are allowed to win?
We'll that's news to me. As a killer main no matter what I do right to win I get called everything under the sun.
But if the survivors win I get tea bagged flashlight spammed and called trash and told to uninstall.
-
A cool idea for the dredge would be he can teleport to opened chests too.

It's been mostly positive on my end.
Gonna be very interesting to see if the devs are gonna change or revert anything in the 2 upcoming hotfix patches given how a good number of people don't like the changes.
I'd rather see buffs to lower tier killers and maybe some perks that not very used by survivors.

From the UK here, so my experience is based on that server (unless I'm thrown on the German server, as a fellow player said it could be).
This weekend has been the best weekend I've experienced since I can remember. This isn't just my games as both killer and survivor, but also the post-game chats. I'm on Xbox and everyone I've integrated with has been really positive and friendly, whether they won or lost. I've had some tough matches against brilliant opponents, and have experienced little in the way of tunnelling, camping or bming from survivors. Even teabags during game felt more like tactics to chase, which I did because that's what makes this game fun.
Basically, what I've noticed as killer is just to chase. Even when gens are donw and I hook a survivor there's no interest for me to camp - I just go hunting! This has actually been advantageous in some games and of course, a couple of losses, but the game doesn't feel like a loss now to me.
As survivor, it's tougher and requires more patience and coordination. As soloq it's tougher, but my fellow survivors have been working well as a team through a vast majority. I've even had a streak of 9 escapes in a row (which was ended by Nemesis, of all things!), of which 2 were hatches and one was pure luck with the gates versus a Bubba.
Overall, I am loving this patch! My last 5 killer matches were 4k,0k,4k,3k,3k, and last 5 survivor has been 3 escapes (1 by hatch), followed by 2 deaths - I had it coming, but it's still been fun!
Fellow Xbox player here and have alot of positive people after games
-
Bonus is all the Billy and Trapper players lately.
-
Loving Stakeout.

I've been using jolt it's hit and miss but I'm happy with the patch. Took me a few days to figure out how to run the doc and neme.
