1. Why does the Survivor/Killer needs to reach Prestige 1 to unlock the Auto Buy? 2. For Survivors or Killers who you play a lot and are above Prestige 1 is the Auto Buy dumb because it goes for the cheapest stuff and almost ignores purple and pink items completely. I was a strong survivor main for the longest because I always found playing killer to be mundane and unfulfilling. Playing as the killer isn't necessarily easy, mechanically it's difficult -- you're in FP view and have to traverse around the map playing hide & seek against four other people. Despite the changes, gen slowdown will still be needed and Deadlock is the only option. There isn't a single killer that the perk is bad on. For every crow/group of crows that is scared, gain a stackable 2/2.5/3% haste effect for 8 seconds. Scare another crow/group of crows to reset the time limit and gain another 3% haste. When there is new patch, the game will: Instal the new update Then it will verify the files which takes few minutes Then it AGAIN verify the files which also takes few minutes Why? I played two matches today and both were marked by abhorrent bullying by the survivors, I simply couldn't bother playing any further after this. The matchmaking and map design were so blatantly survivor sided that it took me four gens to secure my first hook. With no other option but to camp I kept hooktrading just to end up with a 1K anyway. I find this to be very strange. By tunneling/camping at 5 gens (and winning), you are artificially pushing your MMR up. And what is the end result? You end up facing more difficult competition ie more coordinated swfs. So sure you will stomp solos and mid level teams for awhile, but to what end? Ok seriously this guy didn't play badly he just had no chance of winning. we destroyed this guy in what felt like under 2 minutes. So me and @imakepeoplehateme had a argument about how pain res works with gens blocked by deadlock. I assumed it worked like jolt did and still damaged the gen. Tested it out today and it turns out that instead of damaging the gen blocked by deadlock it damaged the most progressed gen after that. It kinda blew my mind. Ive noticed a change that im not so sure about so im coming here to ask. In the past when a new outfit has come out you were able to buy it with auric cells or shards. Recently most new outfits are auric cells only and then later you can buy it with shards. Just had my second match in a row where it says the killer ping is in red and I keep rubber banding and teleporting all over. Every time I run I get rubber banded back about 5 meters and when I run into a room I get teleported back outside the room I ran into. Im not really a "person of the meta" as one would say. I typically run unique builds that typically just work because they catch people off guard. But I thought it would be at least nice to do a bit of dabbling in the meta before it gets nerf, and all I can say is "wow... this feels awful to use". I have no idea what BHVR did but something is off. Way off. My matches have been absolutely ridiculous today. I'm currently trying for Artist's adapt. Games mostly go like this: the survivors get lopsided win and killer gets 3-4 hooks TOTAL, or killer gets lopsided win with 3-4K (10-12 hooks total), and there is rarely much of an in-between. Which means the game is still not balanced well, for various reasons (big maps, bad RNG, low mobility killers, trash killer add ons, trash offerings (mist? Really?), gutted perks etc). I had a week break because of how bad solo survivor is, I came back and FIRST GAME i looped cenobite for 2 or 3 minutes while someone was hooked, not only did the 2 survivors not unhook the 4th survivor but they didn't even do a gen and when I eventually was downed they were running around like headless chickens doing absolutely nothing.
