wesker on RPD
loop him for 2 minutes not a single gen done
that's it i'm done, if i play 10 games in a night i can count on 1 hand how many good games i have.... i'd say 80% of them have been decided before the game even starts. Doesn't matter if the killer is average they are going to win when you're matched with absolute potatos
-
2 games tonight
first game pyramid head, face camped his first hook, we afk'd gens until the survivor died on hook AMAZING GAMEPLAY SO WELL PLAYED BY THE KILLER
second game dredge, didnt go more than 5 metres from the first hook, afk on gens AMAZING GAMEPLAY WELL PLAYED KILLER.
people B*tch and moan about toxic SWF but it's because 9 out of 10 games they're matched against solo survivors and they've got a massive advantage from the second the game starts so as soon as they come up against a good team and they can't just auto pilot a win they cry that the game isn't balanced for them and SWF needs to be nerfed....
think i'm just going to give up and uninstall now.
If your game design REWARDS people for face camping, doing nothing and just hook trading if anyone comes to save then that is bad game design. there is a REASON you can't fix the matchmaking because there isn't enough people playing to have the matchmaking look for closer MMR ratings.... there is a REASON people get frustrated and DC/Kill themselves on first hook and 9 times out of 10 its not because the killer outplayed them it's because they're frustrated about boring games where they've been face camped/afk'd gens OR another argument all together the awful matchmaking in which makes most solo survivor games unwinnable
-
1 game tonight vs a doctor on "the game" and not one of my team mates were doing gens as i looped for around 2 minutes, not a single gen worked on...
1 game vs a skull merchant in which someone went down IN THE FIRST MINUTE vs a M1 killer then just killed themselves on hook
I give up, the game is balanced around entitled killers that 9 times out of 10 play random groups that are immediately handicapped by 1 or 2 bad players so they get used to winning and as soon as they come up against a good SWF team the game is imbalanced so perks etc need to change to help them.

Agree with you.I don't understand BHVR not working and showing MMR.
i'm sick and tired of wasting my time with it i'm close to just uninstalling.
I'm either matched vs a super try hard with blight or nurse etc in which case even if i was a SWF the chances are i'm not escaping.
Or i'm matched against average try hard killers that are being made to look amazing because two of my team mates are hiding in lockers and the third one hasn't touched a generator the entire game.

Instead of greeding pallets and doing high-risk/high-reward strats with DH, my recent games have been the following gameplay pattern:
-Go to safe tile
-Loop twice
-Pre drop
OR
-Get pushed off gen in a deadzone
-Drop unsafe pallet
-Get bloodlusted around said pallet until guaranteed down
Repeat over and over. Totally more enjoyable and def more skillful.
"If DH was so inconsistent why did everyone use it?" DH was vastly used because its one of the only perks in the game with agency which made it fun. It had no pre-reqs aside from getting hit and was a button you press when you predicted a down.
That doesn't mean it wasn't inconsistent, considering how bad ping affects everything. Lunges were the only time it was basically a guaranteed perk. Also, most people didn't know how to DH properly under a pallet, so pretending like it was 100% success is a lie.
But its okay, lets keep nerfing aggressive perks until all we have left are boring non-interactive perks like gen-rushing and pre-running. Then people will act like its a mystery that the game feels so stale.
The only survivor meta that hasn't gotten nerfed at all is gen-rushing, which is arguably more unhealthy than the self-heal and DH metas.
EXACTLY this, but don't try to talk sense. Most of these killers don't want to have to think about what they are doing, they just want to M1 and guarantee a hit.

If a survivor successfully uses dead hard, and just straight holds w in in a straight line, and doesn't use pallets or windows, they gain 14.4 meters of distance during the killer hit cooldown. The lunge distance on a killer is 6 meters, this means they need to close a gap of 8.4 meters. The killer moves at 4.6 (average) survivor moves at 4.0. This means that the killer gains 0.6 meters per second when chasing. This means to close the gap of 8.4 meters, it will take the killer 14 seconds. So, ok, i was off by one second. But nobody swings at max 6 meters anyway because of reaction time.
So even in the absolute perfectly timed scenario, it adds a minimum of 14 seconds.
What was your point again?
so if i manage to time a 0.5 second ability perfectly ontop of server lag you're saying I get REWARDED ?
imagine that....
gunslinger times his shot right and he gets REWARDED with a hit
billy curves a corner correctly and times it and he is REWARDED... i could keep going

Some people still use Dead Hard so that part's blatently untrue. Also Sprint Burst does require at least some amount of skill if the survivor wants to use it reliably and not just running away from a gen. If the survivor is using SB with no brain then they're walking everywhere which slows the game down and they're unable to 99 it which is where it gets much of it's strength from.
it's not exactly big brain thinking 99% SB then running everywhere is it? again that is nothing compared to having to time dead hard right.

99%? Absolutely not. Maybe 70-80% on average if you put a lot of time into learning him
just look at some of the streamers that play him none stop .... they only lose games when they mess around and don't use perks and that's IF the survivors get lucky.
it's not all skill, again once he hits his skill ceiling its an awful game for survivors.

I keep seeing certain people saying how unreliable and easy-to-counter DH was and... like... if that was the case then it wouldn't have been run by so many people. If you were in a dead-zone then yes it did require actual skill to get it to save you but if you were at a pallet it was almost guarenteed to save you.
so a bit like some of the killer abilities that you couldn't avoid (vs a good killer) unless you were near a pallet loop or window? sound's EXACTLY the same ?
it was ran (as i said in the original post) because it was fun to run, you had to THINK about when you were going to use it. Now nobody is using it at all and its lythe or sprint burst which are 0 brainer abilities. Killers are only happy because they don't have to think about anything now they just m1 and expect the survivor to go down.
-
as soon as you put enough time into blight you will win 99% of your games.
his skill ceiling is way above what a survivor can do so it's just one of those situations of "do i want to dedicate my time to becoming good with blight when the games matchmaking system is awful"
most of the time I play solo survivor and i'm matched with potato's vs try hard tournament blights and it's just a waste of time.
Even vs good SWF teams there are streamers that stay AFK until there is 1 gen left and still get a 4k ..... he's awful to play against
-

Wait 0.5s to bait it out?? Nah fam haha there were plenty of instances where it would be 5+ seconds, only to have them press E at the right moment anyway. And then the amount of collective time wasted baiting out a perk they ended up not even having. Glad to see SB back tbh.
DH was an issue, it finally got fixed.
If you're baiting out a dead hard for "5 seconds" then you are playing against it wrong LOL
it's a bit like having to bait out a killers ability ?
Silent billy downing you in 1 hit, can't counter it at all if you don't know where the killer is and you're on a gen you're going down
Blight with ring addon, soon as a blight killer has put enough hours into him you are going down and losing... not much you can do
skull collector 3 genning.... pretty tedious and you can't do anything about it unless you're a very good SWF team...
-
@NotAnotherDoctor said:
I think it comes down to how abusive dead hard was.
So say you're against a good team, this is how games would go:
The first teammate would take chase and then dead hard would come out, then there teammates would protect them and someone else would come and take chase and this would happen over and over while the gens were getting done and everyone was healing.
Sprint Burst is a fine perk, it gets people to safe spots but it isn't abusable and this is the difference, I feel
i think people need to look up the word "abusive" and what it actually means
there is nothing abusive about a 0.5 second ability that has to be timed correctly to work and most of the time doesn't work anyway because of the server latency...
It's almost like killers just want an easy game where they don't have to think about any of the perks survivors have LOL.
If you want the game to be so boring to the point where "if I press M1 next to the survivor i want to GUARANTEE they will get hit" with absolutely no counter play then fair enough.
-
I'm so sick and tired of the matchmaking system
People moan and complain about people disconnecting but 9 times out of 10 it's because they're sick of wasting their times in games that are over before they even started....
i've just come back after a week of not playing because i'm sick of it and first game back i'm against a wesker that downs 2 survivors in the first minute because they played like they've just installed the game for the first time, what is the point in this ? the game was over at matchmaking and there was literally nothing I could do.
I'm close to just uninstalling now because the game just isn't fun
I'm either matched with horrible players that run around like headless chickens not doing gens or i'm matched with try hard toxic killers that use nurse blight etc which are already too good.

Baiting it out was not the issue. The issue was it became so common that every killer felt it required to just stay on survivors' butts for a few seconds. That means killers were actively being discouraged from attacking survivors, and that's a foundational critical problem.
that's not a critical problem that is a layer in the game... if it was a 2 or 3 second ability you'd have an argument but complaining about a 0.5 ability is just stupid. it had to be thought about, now there's nothing to think about because most survivors are just going to sprint away or balanced landing etc... that's not engaging for either player
It's really just killer privilege, you don't want to have to think about anything and just be able to down a survivor as soon as you're close to them.

Dh can't always be baited out there are many 50/50 situations and around pallet's it can be uncounterable in some specific situations. I don't think dh is death even now you still can use it 2 times instead max 3 usually before.
and sprint burst is 100% going to work no matter where you are.... I honestly can't understand this argument at all.

Out of all survivor games I played last night, we had one killer dc.
When I play killer, it’s upwards of every other game somebody DC’s.
because you play blight nearly every single night ... you're a try hard blight coming up against casual solo survivors who don't put 100's of hours into the game like you and Blights skill ceiling is a joke compared to even good survivors.... You're 1 player playing against what could be 4 random people that are constantly getting cheesy camping killers, horrible team mates that make the game impossible. So as soon as they come up against a try hard blight that's took the time to get to a point of showing how broken he is (like people have done with nurse) they just can't be bothered and want to move onto the next game.

Wow very successful, now they still have dead hard and a pallet between us
yeah, there is ALWAYS a pallet within 0.5 seconds away from you, it's almost like you could keep yourself within sprint burst distance of that pallet and just run back to it without the killer being able to do anything about it ....
-
don't make the game so frustrating for solo survivors and you'l fix the disconnecting ...
I'm sick and tired of wasting my time joining games to find out i've got useless team mates that don't do gens and hide in a corner....
i'm sick and tired of coming up against sweaty try hard blights etc when i'm matched with awful team mates meaning the game is over before it even started so why would I want to waste my time?
If I've ever felt like DC it's either because of bad team mates or over tuned killers like blight making the game pointless.
What makes it worse is the fact that Most killer players don't realise that unless they're with a very good SWF team they're already at a massive advantage before the game even starts.

I too enjoy slot machines.
Honestly, about everyone saying what you're saying are people who abused the perk and wished it never was nerfed. But it feels more convenient to dress up some fantastic tale about killers liking to go against really obnoxious situations which exceed all of their control, right?
I have never met a killer main who enjoyed going against Dead Hard and I have high trouble believing such people exist. Or maybe we'll hear tales from a killer main from 2016 who enjoyed having all their hooks permanently broken and thought this added spice to the gameplay.
are you for real? "abuse" a 0.5 second ability that you just have to bait out? I'm honestly baffled at how some killers can't grasp how to bait a 0.5 ability but a 100% guaranteed sprint burst right as you swing for them and miss is ok ? LOL

Too busy listening to beginner killers that can't bait a 0.5 second ability out.

Blights ring is not even his strongest addon, and for it to do anything you need to get hit by a rush.I'm not saying its not strong, but C33 takes priority in getting nerfed, its way more opressive. On top of that adrenaline vile kinda gives you a better ring.
Myres perma tier 3 is weak.He gets no pressure, and before he gets tier 3 atleast 3 gens should have popped if not more.At that point insta downing does nothing.Once again there is a stronger addon to complain about, tombstone piece which deserves more attention.
Huntress only has one hatched, you dodge it and she is a 110 no power killer. She also has to reload A LOT which slows her down massively. Its downsides make it a very fair addon. She also can camp about the same with or without it if the player is good.
Regarding wraith... really? You can see the guy running across the map,you can hear his breathing,he makes a sound when he uncloackes so he should never get a grab, and after he gets his little jumpscare he becomes a regular killer with no power.
Your post screams lack of experience.
about wraith ...
you can't see him if you're behind a wall, you can't hear anything if he's using the addon and you're on a gen ..... did you even read the post ?

“This comment proves you aren’t bothered by actual facts”……
As I talk about the actual facts from BHVR….. what?
Why do you keep bringing up nurse? We aren’t talking about nurse. Blight does not compare to nurse. Blight does not teleport through walls, pallets, windows, etc.
I’ll ask again for a 3rd time since you keep dodging the question. If you want to balance around the top of the MMR, where survivors hard dominate, what nerfs does that mean for them? Don’t talk about blight, nurse, or killers.
you're being selectively naive with their stats... if you honestly don't think that the majority of nurse and blight beginners are the only reason their win rates are brought down then you're either deluded or blinded by the hours that you've put into him.
when he has an ability to reset his charge on a hit.... that is stupid when he can COMFORTABLY 4k even good teams without any perks .... that is stupid
when you cant outplay a blight because his mobility (once learned) means he can hug tech corners and loops that is stupid
I compare him because as soon as the player has spent enough time learning his mechanics it is exactly the same as nurse, it comes down to pot luck on the killers decision of which way he will go, there's hardly any level of skill a survivor can bring to it you are going down if you don't GUESS which way he's going. Thats not a good game mechanic, that's just good for ego killers such as yourself that spend thousands of hours on the #2 killer and claim you're only winning because you're better than all the survivors and not because he's over tweaked especially in solo survivor games.
-
@HugTechLover said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3397314#Comment_3397314
According to the last published stats from BHVR, that simply is not true. On the top MMR AND the average MMR.
so that comment there just proves that you're not bothered about actual facts and it's "i've spent thousands of hours getting sweaty with blight, so he is fine"
everyone and their dog knows that Nurse is broken ..... her mechanic cancels out anything a survivor can do as soon as the killer has put enough time in to learn her mechanics ...
but her kill ratio isn't 100% why ? because she takes time to learn. not HARD to learn all you have to do is spend time learning her and then she is broken, but the fact is that MOST nurses only play a few games and get destroyed by good survivor teams then just swap to another killer out of frustration when they can't be bothered to learn the mechanics. This keeps the figures more level because if we just took the win ratio from the top 5% of nurse killers the figures would be absolutely stupid and atleast 85% win rate.... EXACTLY the same as blight
When a Nurse killer hits the top they are literally ignoring game mechanics and there is no level of skill that a survivor can bring to escape, it is pure mind games and if the killer messes up. Blight isn't far behind this especially with his addons but you're just ignoring that because you've put thousands of hours into being sweaty with him.

go look through blight forums. The large majority on here enjoys facing blight, and would agree he is fine at his basekit. Why do you keep bringing up tournaments? You don’t balance around your top players… where are you stats about pick rates? Lemme guess, some 3rd party site?
Tell you what, drop your tag, let’s 1v1 and I’ll point out exactly why you think blight is op. You just don’t know the counterplay.
"you don't balance a game around tournaments" the most successful games of all time have been balanced around tournaments because the top players are the ones that point out broken mechanics, things that need to be buffed etc... rather than listening to people who just assume everything is fine because they've dedicated time to it and like flexing in the majority of one sided games on the ladder vs alot of the time beginners. (you)
they chose blight because he's easier to get a 4k with than all other killers other than nurse, if you really don't understand that then you're just blinded by how much time you've spent beating on solo survivors, only having a hard time in the 1 of 10 games you come up against a SWF.
there's no such thing as a 1v1 in DBD because the entire game is MADE for killer advantage .... (your ego again)

The "10 minute cutscene" matchmaking is really frustrating when it happens. Like OP said, you can tell within a minute when one or two survivors are super out of place in that match.
I started tracking my games on nightlight.gg. my escape rate is about 85% over the 13 solo queue games I've tracked so far (kill rate is 87% over 17 killer games before someone accuses me of being a survivor main). I can't really complain about the win rate obviously. But the reasons behind the losses usually amount to someone being hopelessly lost. And the wins are usually 3 or 4 outs where the killer is hopelessly lost and barely gets to 5 hooks. It all feels really contrived.
exactly this, either survivor sided or killer sided the games rarely have a middle ground. Yet we have people complaining that the game is imbalanced either way etc etc. If the matchmaking actually matched you with people your own skill level then we could actually find out if the game is balanced but most people just complain straight away even though they're not getting the practice vs their level.

Survivors messing up DH does not change the fact it's a 3rd health state perk. Stop downing playing a perk because you are bad with it.
survivors MESSING UP DH ? you seriously don't use it .... 0.5 of a second is extremely easy to bait out and if you're getting hit by dead hards then you're either a new killer or you just refuse to admit that the survivor outplayed you therefor its imbalanced, there is nothing else to to it. you're acting as if it is a GUARANTEED health state, it is only a guaranteed health state as i mentioned if you're a new killer and you don't know how to wait an extra 0.5 seconds to bait it out...

Dead Hard will drop usage for a few weeks then people will start bringing it again, because it's still a perk that provides on demand access to a 3rd health state. People are really fooling themselves if they believe this is a heavy nerf to the perk.
tell me you dont use DH without saying you dont use DH ..... it gives you a third health state IF the killer is bad and does not bait a 0.5 ability out, it only also works half the time because of the server latency.

Yea, the issue is me playing the killer I enjoy. Not the survivors who throw in the towel as soon as they face a killer who isn’t just an m1 killer.
No, I never played nurse. Don’t enjoy her.
Literally 95% of the people on these forums will agree that blight is fine, outside of 2-3 addons.
Yea…. People that put the time and effort into learning his mechanics and skill are going to know that blight is fine… kinda uh… how that works. And the people who don’t think he’s fine are the people who have no clue about blight, how he works, or his counterplay. Perfect example being YOU.
9 out of 10 would agree blight is fine ? LOL talk about deluded! where are these stats ? AGAIN there is a reason he is picked in tournament games and it's not because he's "fun" to play, if you can comfortably get a 4k against good teams without even using perks then you have something wrong with the killer.
they will never balance the game because killers won't react to the good teams because they hardly play against them so they just claim that it's survivor favoured. you keep claiming you put thousands of hours in so you deserve to win most of your games but even if i put double the time in if i get an awful team i've 100% lost against you as soon as the game starts THAT IS NOT FUN OR BALANCED. Even if its a team of 4 its a up hill battle against actual good killers and not killers that stomp ladder matches 99% of the time and then whine and complain when they get beat by the 1% that are actually really good and get lucky to escape.
theres alot you can take from tournament matches but again you seem to be just ignoring the fact that blight has the highest pick rate other than nurse. funny that isnt it ?

Idk, I’ve had SWF‘s insta give up when they see I’m a blight. They all run in and point at hooks, wanting to go next. It’s so annoying. I just want a normal game! Lol
Then don't play an over tuned killer that any player who dedicates the time to can easily 4k without using perks.... it's not a coincidence.... I'm guessing you used to play nurse and just thought people dc because you were too good ?
It's ironic that the people who think blight are fine are the ones that spend the time playing him ... funny that isn't it ?
Literally the only reason him and nurse don't get fixed is because the new players that play them keep the win ratio down and they're worried about SWF groups becoming too powerful (even though at top level blight still 4ks swf example tournaments)
Playing solo vs blight 99% of the time is a waste of time unless they're beginner blights, that's not good mechanics, that's just broken.

And being able reset a chase regardless of the environment only be being injured is an OBJECTIVELY unbalanced game design.
You just used a lot of words to say "Just wait it out", an argument that's been destroyed a hundred times over again.
"just wait it out"
it's a 0.5 second ability... if you're complaining about a 0.5 secondability that can only be used when you're injured and must be timed perfectly then that's more on your skill as a killer not that its imbalanced.

In what world am I not going to win at a much higher rate with 1600 hours in a certain character with a high skill ceiling, Vs somebody that has 20 hours? Name a game that’s doesn’t implement this.
You clearly just don’t know how to play against blight. I’ve met survivors that do, and they put up a really good chase.
It's like playing counter strike at high level , one guy has a awm sniper and the other guy has an ak47 ... at long range 99% of the time the guy with the sniper is going to win regardless of how much extra time he has put into the game because he has the better tools for the situation IE blight charge with silly auto refresh add ons and blinking with nurse .... the ak player is fighting an up hill battle because he hasn't got the same tools. Yes there needs to be variety but you're just lucky there's not many people that can be bothered/want to waste their time mastering blight because they'd soon nerf him if the over all win ratio went up to what the players who play him alot have .... you're lucky there's lots of beginners losing with him to keep the ratio down.

Results were identical with other killers.
"So blight needs to be nerfed because I put 1600 hours into him to be good? GTFO.
“this killer requires me to actively think and use smart decisions to counter so I want him nerfed.”
Get over yourself."
In another post you literally said that because you've put thousands of hours into him you don't think he needs to be changed... just because in hour head it's complete skill you've got a way above average win ratio doesn't mean that its actually true. The only reason that they don't nrf nurse and blight more is because a good portion of the players playing them are newer so end up losing and keep the overall win ratios down

they do when its blight or nurse.... again look at the streamers on 100+ game winning streaks, they wouldn't get that with other killers regardless of how good they are.... that is not BALANCE.

Like it or not, some of that is down to your killer of choice. Nurse and Blight are disproportionately strong killers. If the killer player really knows how to use them (which would be indicated by a lightning quick first down), you have a good idea of how the match is going to go.
Now I am a fervent opponent of DCing for any reason (other than a glitch or hacker), but for many players, they just decide to opt out of what they see as a near guaranteed loss.
I never DC, but if there is a super quick down at the beginning of a match and the killer is a Nurse or Blight, most of the time I pretty much tune out.
I think any variance you're seeing now is probably just down to sample size and fluctuation. I don't think people are DCing or suiciding on hook any more now than any other time I can remember.
exactly this, but this guy isn't getting the point... it's pretty much "i've spent thousands of hours playing Blight so regardless if his tool box is too strong I should still win most of my games"

I can say with certainty people who play Nurse and Blight aren't winning 99% of the games. Also if a killer's ability outweighs what survivors can do then you should be expected to have a harder time and shock/horror even lose. It works the same way when a group of survivors collective ability outweighs what killers can do. No matter what side you're on you bring the skills and tools at your disposal and whoever uses their stuff the best or just happens to get alittle luckier on the day wins.
The amount of good Blights and Nurses is really quite small compared to the number of people who actually play them. Most people play them a few times and drop them so often you're encountering the same few handfuls of players who've put the time in and would probably do about the same with other decent killers. Survivors have a lot of tools and are getting more as time goes on even if your gameplay isn't gaining more complexity. You'll be fine.
look at the "streamers" that are on 100 game winning streaks with him with 1 perk ..... or waiting until the survivors are down to 1 gen .... you can't do that with any other killers other than blight or nurse so what does that say about them ?

So blight needs to be nerfed because I put 1600 hours into him to be good? GTFO.
“this killer requires me to actively think and use smart decisions to counter so I want him nerfed.”
Get over yourself.
massive difference between "smart decisions" and "oh this guy has dedicated to the point where i can't avoid his flick" your argument is basically "i've put more time into it so I should automatically win if i've put more into it" in Formula 1 who normally wins the championship ? the guy with the best car regardless of how good he is as a driver .... it's not a coincidence ??
AGAIN . there is a reason he is a go to killer against top tournament players and it's not because he's a challenge to win with ... (once you've put the time in to learn the mechanics)
if you put as much time into wesker or nemesis etc for example you'd win more games than you'd lose but you wouldn't be anywhere near the win ratio as you are with blight .... what does that say ? you can be protective over it all you want because of the amount of time you've put in to try to show off, but facts are facts the killer is hard to lose with once you learn the mechanics and that is not BALANCE it's called having a higher skill ceiling than your opponent. You could come against a survivor that's put just as much time into the game as you have, be the same skill level but because you have more tools than other killers you WILL take them down a lot quicker than you would with any other killer (other than nurse) and again that isn't all SKILL. there is a massive difference between SKILL and "i've put thousands more hours in than the other players" but you just don't seem to be grasping that.
I'm sure top counter strike players use the excuse of "he's played a few more hours than me, that's why he's won"
-
completely missing my point ...
you should be rewarded for learning a killer but it shouldn't mean you're going to win 99% of your games automatically because your ability far outweighs what survivors can do ....

Because you lose Off the Record on a Conspicious Action. Dead Hard never times out or shuts itself off for non-use.
I'd still rather have off the record because in that time frame it's guaranteed to work .....
They've said they changed it to help tunnelling so that means the killer is going straight back for the survivor off hook so I say again. Why would I go for the perk that has a very good chance of not working/get baited out by a half decent killer.
If they want to make it this situational then they should change the timing back to the old deadhard with the movement

”it’s not 100% skill”
Please hop on blight and pull off an afk to 4k match using only the… “extra vision perk”
Considering you don’t know the name of that perk, lets me know you have low hours in the game. Which lets me know you probably have zero idea to blight’s counterplay.
Instead of making this post about blight being a waste of time to play against, how about actually LEARNING to counter him? 🤦🏻♂️
Just because I couldn't remember the name of the perk at the time doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about 😂
Learning to play against blight isn't really the full answer when you have 3 team mates the majority of time that are average or below meaning you're already at a handicap before the game even starts... you can learn the loops all you want but as soon as the blight hits that skill ceiling he's already higher than most of the best survivors 🤷♂️ there's only nurse that can play that well without perks and we all know how broken she has been so what does that say about blight ? Why do you think he's a go to killer along with nurse in tournament matches ?.
I'm sorry if I've hurt your ego but if you've put 100's of hours into blight to show how good you are in a game where 9 times out of 10 you're matched against 4 random people that have half your play time and require to work extremely well together to escape from you(which is hardly ever going to happen) because their skill ceiling is lower than yours then more fool you 🤷♂️
Again there's a reason certain streamers go afk until there is 1 gen left so they can have people swoon over them when they 4k some casuals that have played half the time or got atleast 3 kills against good survivors .

It's supposed to be situational. The problem with old Dead Hard was it worked all the time. It needed a situational modified the way Lithe, Balanced Landing, etc do.
Lithe and balanced landing need a window or a drop which is very easy to setup 99% of the time and you know for a fact its going to work for you.
Dead hard you have to time PERFECTLY and even then sometimes it's not going to work, why would you even attempt it when you can just use off the record which will GUARANTEE a free hit.

I agree. I did a blight win streak where I played fair. I made it to 150ish before I ran into a team that actually pushed my sh*t in.
The issue is not that blight is easy to play, it's the fact that the skill ceiling is alot higher than survivors so once you've put the hours into him you're going to win most of your matches even without add ons.... that's not balance and it makes it boring to play against unless you're a hardcore swf team. If you watch tournament matches there's a reason they choose nurse and blight and its not because they prefer them .....

Assume you get unhooked, healed, do Gen and can save it for later chase.
OTR you get unhooked, healed, and if you do Gen it get disable.
That's just way too situational, they've not nerfed it they've just made it obsolete 😂

Lately survivors have been just giving up at a much higher rate lately. Anybody else experiencing this?
I’d say 65ish percent of the time, the first person I hook just drops themselves, causing a domino effect of quitters.
I even changed killers from blight to see if that was the issue; and nope, survivors still giving up and quitting. I’ve started slugging anybody who tries to give up early on as a way to discourage it. Why even Que up if you’re just going to quit on your team?
Props to the survivors that put up a fight regardless of the situation.
You've been unlucky from other killers but with blight yes, have to admit he's one of the killers I hate playing against because as soon as the killer hits a certain skill level with him there's almost nothing you can do unless you're a good SWF team so 9 times out 10 yes I prefer to just move onto the next game in the back of my mind.
He's almost as bad as nurse to play against .... it's not that he's easy to play it's once you've put the time into him you have to really try hard not to get a 4k.... there's a reason certain streamers afk until there's 1 gen with blight .... and it's not because they're gods gift to blight its because they're the only ones that put that much time into him to learn all the bumps.
If you slug them they'll just be tabbed out waiting for the next game 🤷♂️ if you want a good game don't play sweaty blight

It was funny? I probably missed the time when he was. Now everyone is camping bubba.
not everyone but i've had 3 different players tonight, one of them i was hooked first so was just afk, and the other two i was on gens afk

While I might agree on facecamping Bubba being boring to face, I refuse to believe you have 10+ minute queues
i've just waited 6 minutes right now so that's not far off? and i'm matched with people that play as if they're brand new so it's a waste of time anyway (but that's another discussion)
-
90% of the games are him with scourge hook pain and eruption.... and when he's got that kill ratio and i'm matched with bad players that can't loop him then most of the time it's a pointless match.
