DbD has the most wild downloading out of any Steam game

When there is new patch, the game will:

  • Instal the new update
  • Then it will verify the files which takes few minutes
  • Then it AGAIN verify the files which also takes few minutes

Why? I have very fast internet and downloading one patch can take up to 30 min. There is 3-step downloading process, I don't think I saw that with any other game ever.
