  • I don't know how many times I have to say this, but just enjoy the grind.

You get around 25 cakes per Prestige, which means that during the event, if every player brings a cake, you'll earn enough Bloodpoints for another Prestige in roughly every four matches. In other words, Behaviour has basically handed out around 350 cakes for free. (15mil bp)

On top of that, you could have already farmed the 5 million Bloodpoints before the event started. That's another 125 Cakes, or roughly 475 cakes if you use auto-spend (and even more if you spend your Bloodpoints manually).

If you also saved up Tome challenges, each completed Tome is worth around 1.5 million Bloodpoints you could have gone into the event with even more. With a bit of planning, someone who's been playing for the past year could easily have started Day 1 with around 600 cakes.

And we're still only 2 days through the event with 18 days left. 😊

  • I know they do Iridescent Shard sales from time to time, and your best bet is usually to wait for the Anniversary event or Halloween. Those are the two occasions where I've personally seen discounts, although I'm not sure if they happen every single year.

They've also already reduced the shard cost of quite a few original killers and survivors over the years, which has made unlocking characters a lot easier than it used to be.

If you're planning to buy killers or survivors with shards, I'd probably wait another week or so just to be sure there isn't a sale around the corner.

If you're talking about cosmetics, though, I've personally never seen a sale where Iridescent Shards were discounted for cosmetic purchases. Most cosmetic discounts tend to affect Auric Cell prices rather than the shard cost.

  • To be fair, I actually see quite a few people using the Vial in my matches. As a killer player myself, I think the biggest issue is that most survivors use it incorrectly.

A lot of survivors wait until the killer is basically right on top of them before using it, and at that point it's pretty much useless. However, if you use it just before someone gets hooked, especially if you know the killer has BBQ, you can prevent your aura from being revealed.

It's also very effective if you spot the killer approaching and use it before they're close enough to see through the cloud. For example, if you're inside a building, you can often slip away unnoticed and reposition safely.

I don't think the item is useless at all. I think a lot of people simply don't know how to get value out of it, to be honest.

  • I know this might sound a bit negative or harsh, but I have quite a few hours in DBD, and I think part of the problem is that people see all the survivors, killers, perks, and content and immediately think, "Wow, that's way too much."

Sometimes it feels like people don't want to spend 30 minutes looking up a beginner guide or checking which builds are commonly used. As a new or relatively new player, the best thing you can do is identify the perks you want, figure out which survivors or killers unlock them, and focus on those first.

You get 250,000 free Bloodpoints every week, which is roughly enough for a free Prestige every month on a character of your choice. On top of that, you earn Bloodpoints just by playing and ranking up. There are frequent events with double Bloodpoints, and Blood Moon even gives up to 5x rewards. Then you have 22 Tomes packed with challenges that reward millions of Bloodpoints in total just for playing the game.

The Anniversary event is also right around the corner, so it's a great time to invest Bloodpoints into your favorite characters when the anniversary starts and stock up on those delicious cakes that give everyone an extra 110% Bloodpoints.

And honestly, what are you going to do when everything is unlocked? The game can get pretty stale once you've obtained everything. Aside from chasing P100, there isn't much left to work toward. And is P100 really worth rushing for?

Just enjoy the grind. Focus on unlocking what you need, and the Bloodpoints will come naturally over time.

I mean you can do 3-5 character of each side to have a decent build, that's true.

Doesn't mean people wouldn't like to have everyone p3 - having everything available is a good thing if you like changing things up.

We can literally prestige Bill, David and have decent build for surviviors - Dead hard, DS, Unbrakeable and Resilience for example.

Same with killers - Clown for pop, Artist for Pain Res and Grim and Sloppy Butcher and that's decent build.

I get that people like to have everything unlocked, and I understand why. People want everything as fast as possible, and then they get bored because there’s nothing left to work toward… and end up complaining about that too.

I’ve been playing DBD since 2019, and back then it was a completely different story. You needed around 16 million BP to get a character to Prestige 3 with all perks, and after prestiging you lost all your add-ons. On top of that, perks weren’t shared between characters, so you had to grind everything again for each one.

If the game was still like that, I would completely understand why people want progression to be faster, because that grind was honestly pretty extreme.

I also think a lot of people don’t realize that the first 22 tomes still have Bloodpoint rewards. Each full tome gives roughly around 2 million BP, which really adds up.

You also get a 250k free gift every week, and if you reach Iridescent rank each month, you can earn around 1–2 million BP, depending on whether you play one side or both.

I've made some calculations, out of curiosity.

I assumed that we have escape cake/survivior pudding and we average 56 000 BP per match with it.
Without lobby bonus, without additional BPS that someone can bring into a match for us.

I also assumed that match on average takes 10 minutes.

If we play 2 hours daily, 7 days/week we need…. 504 days to p3 everyone. Considering insta lobby time.

I hope that gives everyone some perspective.

I don't understand why BP gains are getting worse every year.

We have anniversary, halloween, bloodmoon, winter event

You really don’t need every character at P3. If you actually enjoy the game and take a bit of time to look into which perks you like, you can already build a strong setup pretty quickly. Even P1 on the characters with the perks you want is often more than enough.

With the current Blood Moon event, progression feels really fast. If you play around 2 hours a day as killer, you can get roughly 250k BP per match even without using cakes. That adds up to about 2 million BP per day if you take 15/min a match. Over the course of the event, that’s easily 30 - 40 mil BP.

Considering it takes about 3.6 million BP to reach P3 on a character, you can unlock quite a lot in a relatively short time whether that’s multiple characters at P3 (30perks) or a large pool of perks at P1 (120perks).

People need to enjoy and apreciate the grind more in my opinion. :)

  • I must say though, a Blood Moon map sounds really awesome! I think it’s a cool concept, but I’m not sure if matches really need to last longer (maybe as a separate mode it could work). A lot of players will probably still just rush gens or go for quick kills to get into the next match anyway.

For me personally, one of the things I enjoy is that matches are fairly short usually around 10–15 minutes. As killer, you already start earning BP right away, while survivors still need to escape to get the most out of it.

When it comes to bloodpoints, I actually feel like we’re in a pretty good spot already. Compared to the old days, it’s much easier to farm BP now. With Blood Moon active, you can get to x6, and even higher if more people used cakes (though not everyone seems to realize how helpful those are). I’m getting around 200k–250k BP per match as killer right now.

And on top of that, we also have things like:

    • Anniversary events with cakes
    • 2v8 mode for extra BP
    • Haunted by Daylight
    • Bone Chill
    • Event login rewards

So overall, I feel like BP gain is already quite generous.

  • I don’t want to come off as rude or anything, but I honestly don’t understand why people get offended by pixels moving up and down. If you’re playing killer, just run around, break some leftover pallets or walls, practice your power or tab out and watch a video for a couple of minutes.

Looks like Legion haters got their wish, because there will be no Legion in the next 2V8.

Unbelievable choice. That's me not playing the next 2V8 then.

Maybe a bit of a hot take, but I’ve mained Legion for a long time and honestly enjoy both playing as him and against him. That said, the fact that 99.9% of 2v8 matches are Legion makes it incredibly tedious and boring after a while. They should really leave Legion out of the next 2v8 or rotate killers to keep things fresh. The last 2v8, I stopped playing entirely after getting Legion/Wesker five games in a row.

  • Whenever I try to get hooks in the Void, I usually play Bubba. The moment I see or hear someone heading there, I just follow them in and instantly down them with the chainsaw. But honestly, I only average about one hook per match since nobody goes there anymore once they realize it leads straight to a hook.

That's the exact thing people are not happy with.

Before, you could afford not to do daily challenges every day if you played a bit more when you could to do the other challenges and milestones. Most people who have jobs and other things taking time outside of DBD were satisfied with this (even if it's still inferior to tome challenges overall in my opinion) since even if they could only play a few days a week, playing longer to power through the challenges and maybe advance a few milestones in the process could make up for the lost daily challenges.

Now, the milestones numbers are insane to reach. Every challenges overall give less and/or demands more time except the daily challenges who, if done every single day, can do most of the work as they grant more and can usually be done in 1-2 games.

But that's the problem, someone who doesn't have that kind of time is now forced to make time to at least do dailies, which makes the game feel like a chore more than a game. It frankly demotivates to play further than necessary for the rift.

I’ve only been playing about 30 minutes a day since the last rift released, basically just doing my dailies. Let’s be honest, one killer match and one survivor match is usually enough to finish them. Even with that small amount of time, I still reached level 100 with 21 days left, and I hadn’t even finished all my milestones. It really just comes down to consistency, not grinding nonstop.

What a lot of people seem to forget is that the Rift technically ends at level 70. That’s when you’ve completed it. Everything after that just adds extra rewards for players who rushed through and still have 30–40 days left to play. Levels beyond 70 are meant for people who really focus on the game or just have more time to invest.

I keep seeing people say it’s unfair to those with jobs or families, but I have a family and a kid myself, and I work 12-hour shifts. The difference is just prioritizing this game a little more over others, it’s not that hard, just takes a bit of dedication.

  • Gonna be honest, as someone who’s been doing every Rift since Rift 5, this one is easily the most boring one so far. Out of all killers, it’s again Trickster… and maybe it’s just me, but the skins look rushed and uninspired. If I didn’t get my Auric Cells back, this would honestly be the first Rift I’d ever skip.

  • @MaTtRoSiTy said:

All I can say is I hope to God they don't keep Legion in it… otherwise forget it, I would rather just stick with normal queues.

Yeah true, that’s why I gave up on 2v8 after a few days. Like 8 out of 10 games were just a Legion/Wesker combo

  • For me, 2v8 was fun. I don’t mind queuing up as survivor for a couple matches just to get a killer game. At least your spot is reserved, which was honestly one of the best changes they made. They should really add that queue-time icon into 1v4 too. The only reason I started to dislike 2v8 was because like 8 out of 10 matches ended up being Legion/Wesker combo, and that gets frustratingly boring after a few times. Honestly, they should give people who only pick Wesker or Legion in 2v8 a wait timer so you can’t keep spamming the same killers over and over. xD

personally, I would just like to complete them. I don’t see any reason to put a challenge/quest in a game where 95% of your player base can’t even complete them. I understand why they increased the numbers in comparison to the previous milestones. However they went too high in my opinion. My issue is only with the milestone increase. ✌️

I do get why some people would want to fully complete the rift, and honestly if there were rewards locked behind it, like a banner, charm, or skin. I’d probably be annoyed too since that would feel almost impossible to finish. But right now, it just disappear after 30 days and there’s not even an achievement or scoreboard to show how well you did in past rifts.

At the moment, the milestones mostly feel like filler to keep you engaged. Personally, I think they’re kind of pointless and not really worth the hassle. That said, good luck to everyone grinding them. I hope Behaviour adds some more meaningful rewards in the future so there’s actually something worth playing the milestones for. :)

  • I honestly don’t get why everyone’s so upset about the changes. Sure, the previous rifts went a lot faster, but this one doesn’t really feel bad either. Since the rift released I’ve only been playing around 3 matches a day (so about 30–45 minutes), and I’m already at Rift level 88 with still 30 days left to go.The milestones also dont give anything besides a few bloodpoints. So I’m just wondering, why are people so annoyed by this?

  • It might sound harsh to some people, but honestly, there’s nothing else to this game besides the grind. Once you have all perks at level 3, what are you really going to do then?

Like others have already mentioned, if Behaviour doesn’t make money, they can’t keep the servers alive. A lot of survivors and killers cost just 125 or 250 auric cells, that’s literally €1.25 or €2.50. If that’s too much, then honestly, you probably shouldn’t be playing this game.

And it’s not like there aren’t options, on Steam the DLCs and main game go on sale 4–5 times a year with 50–80% off (except for the newest one, of course).

I’m not trying to offend anyone with this, just sharing my opinion.

It happens every event. It's not me expecting a negative experience. It's simply the reality of the situation. If I know there's a high likelihood of this why would I reward that behavior? Which isn't to say it's a one sided problem. Survivors tend to sweat really hard during events too.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3951990#Comment_3951990

You're right. Lots of survivors turbo sweat during events. Just one more reason not to burn cakes. I'll never understand why someone acknowledging reality means they need to take a break.

Something I’ve been thinking about: if you’re jumping into queue already expecting a bad match, why even play at that point? That honestly sounds like people playing a game they are not enjoying anymore.

Yeah, tunneling is definitely more common lately and it sucks, but at the same time, a lot of survivors are also playing super efficiently. Is that necessarily a bad thing?

It just feels like both sides are under pressure and it creates this constant cycle of stress. But if people are already in a negative mindset before the match even starts, how can anyone really enjoy the game?

  • @thrawn3054 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3951825#Comment_3951825

Because everytime there's an event killers tend to hard tunnel alot. Why would people waste their cakes knowing there's a good chance the match will be terrible?

If your mindset is, “Why should I use cakes if the next match might not go well?” That might be a sign it's time to take a short break from the game. It's totally understandable to feel frustrated, especially with tunneling, but going into an event expecting a negative experience can really take the fun out of it.

From my own experience, I run into hard tunneling maybe once every 15 matches. It also seems like the term “tunneling” is used more broadly these days even in matches where the killer has hooked others in between, or when a survivor on death hook chooses to bodyblock and gets targeted afterward. In those cases, it's not always tunneling.

  • I think the P100 survivors are facing the same issue we had during last year’s Halloween event where instead of getting useful items like toolboxes, medkits, or flashlights, we mostly got a few add-ons for every prestige level.

  • I did some bulk spending on killer and had about 5 million BP left from the old tomes and saved up another 5 million. I went through 9 prestiges: 5 of them 1 prestige at a time, and 4 prestiges in one go using bulk spending (200 levels at once).

    The results: 454 total

    • Lowest: 45 cakes
    • Highest: 56 cakes
    • Average: 51 cakes per prestige when bulk spending

So if anyone's wondering, bulk spending seems pretty solid for event item drops.

The only thing I’m really wondering is… why is literally no one throwing cakes?

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3948472#Comment_3948472

Exactly. I barely used them before, but will now never use them again. I just dont want to burn an Offering, just to be on a different Map and think "Damn, that could have been a Survivor Pudding/Escape Cake instead".

In general, I think that changing Map Offerings in such a way is just the lazy approach. The respective Maps still have their issues and they should have kept Map Offerings at 100%, but start working on said maps. Or if they lower the chances to get a specific Map, they could have just removed the Offerings.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3948480#Comment_3948480

Yes, but for every Stealth Killer who might burn a Midwich Offering there will be a Nurse who does the same. And it sucks. Or a SWF who sends you to Badham.

Not gonna lie, I think only true stealth killers should have the option to force indoor maps, not just anyone running a perk like Insidious. It should be tied to the killer’s design and playstyle.

I’m talking about killers like Ghost Face, The Shape (but only when using Scratched Mirror, which should be easy to detect), The Pig, and Wraith. These killers are built around stealth and actually bring the horror element to life especially on tight, indoor maps.

  • There’s honestly not much true horror left in the game anymore. Stealth killers on indoor maps are one of the few things that still create real tension and genuine scares and that’s exactly what Dead by Daylight should be embracing.

For a game that calls itself the "hall of fame of horror," it feels like it’s becoming everything but horror, especially if stealth killers can’t even use their indoor map offerings to play to their strengths.

  • I genuinely don’t understand why people are so frustrated with the new Rift system or keep bringing up FOMO in Dead by Daylight. I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first 100 levels in 83 days sounds like a grind, but honestly, it goes by ridiculously fast.

Lately, it feels like everything is being labeled as FOMO. And I’m not trying to be harsh. I just don’t get it. Are people really getting upset over missing out on what’s probably their 1000 Feng cosmetic, which they might not even use and will likely return at some point?

Personally, I always liked seeing players with stuff I didn’t have. I’d think, “Wow, that looks awesome, too bad I missed it,” and then just moved on. It made those cosmetics feel special.

Just enjoy the game. If you’re constantly chasing everything, chances are you’ll always end up disappointed both in games and in real life.

  • If this comes off as aggressive, I really don’t mean it that way, just sharing my thoughts.

Lately, it feels like every time something frustrating happens, people immediately say, “I should be able to abandon or quit the game.” While I do agree that if all four survivors are slugged without ever being hooked, there should be an option to leave.

If you're playing killer and feel anxious or annoyed about pushing survivors out because of potential teabagging, just let it go. Use that time to do something productive in-game. Run around the map, break leftover pallets, or practice your power. Just waste their time. Take Deathslinger, for example, walk around and try to shoot at objects just to sharpen your aim.

Honestly, I think a lot of players are just burned out. What they probably need isn’t an abandon button, it’s to take a break from the game for a few days, weeks, or even months. No shame in that.

  • The Blood Eye offering gives a 100% bonus only on Bloodmoon actions. So, if you are playing as a survivor, that means things like filling up a tank or depositing/finishing a Bloodmoon generator. Those actions are doubled and the points are personal.

If you’re looking to really maximize your Bloodpoints, it’s a great idea to throw on a Party Streamer or Cake. That way, all your actions get doubled your party and killer also gets 100% extra.

Also, keep in mind if you're playing as killer you get more points as survivors because if you die as survivor you "losing" allot of survival points in the end.

Depending on the killer you play can also have more or less BP. For me personal Doctor, Legion, Blight, wraith are the best of capping all Bp areas.

As killer atm throwing a screech gobbler i have around 300K/match as survivor throwing a gobbler i have around 150k because i dont escape that much.

I know it's conspiracy territory, but I do think BHVR gives content creators softer queues. They already made it so content creators can't get matched with people with a lot of exploit reports (to prevent them getting matched with hackers that hold them hostage). Back when MMR was tightened up a lot of killer content creators were getting absolutely stomped over and over on stream. Not good for their content or for the game to lose over and over then they lowered the soft cap sometime after. You can revisit these times with the suffering with skill based matchmaking YouTube series

I’ve always thought the same. I’m not the best player out there, but I’ve got enough hours to know the difference between good survivors and bad ones. And honestly, a lot of the matches content creators get just seem way too easy.

Behaviour really raised my suspicions, especially with how they handle MMR. Someone actually figured out a way to check their MMR, but Behaviour got their legal team involved and shut it down. Now nobody can see their MMR anymore. If we could our MMR, the whole debate about easy matches would probably disappear.

I actually played during the weekends when they were testing MMR, and I remember one weekend that was just horrible for newer players. Then one of the other weekends, YouTube videos popped up like that it was everything but fun to sweat 24/7. But to me, it honestly felt like nothing really changed.

But then again, ask yourself this: would people still care about content creators if they kept getting destroyed as survivors or looped into oblivion every match as killer?

  • @UknownShredder said:

You know the problem with MMR is that once you get above a certain level you will ONLY face SWF (which is cheating in its highest form) I understand that people want to have fun with their friends but 4? I played a lot of world of warcraft and its hard to do 3s because people dont have time nevermind 4s but in this game it seems like its very common to get together every night and play 4 on coms.

To balance this out i got a proposal and that is also a 3rd party software that they got in WoW. GladiatorlosSA its called and it calls out everything the other team is doing, Sheep, Frostbolt, silence, kick, blind, Vanish etc.

Perhaps killers should have an addon like that in this game to balance the communication out so when you are leaving shack i hear a female voice (leaving shack, heading towards main, Doing X gen, Healing in basement.

Then you will see how funny and oppressive it is when the killer know whatever you are doing like you know whatever us killers are doing without even have to LOOK SEE or use you Perks, It comes right into your ear from your dear friend.

I don't know if we only play against SWF (thats certainly how it feels) when we go over a certain threshold in the MMR system. The fact that they do everything in their power to keep MMR from going public (even going so far as to involve their legal department when we request our personal MMR info) makes me think something is really wrong on their end.

I am by no means a pro player, but playing killer has become so tedious that it's not fun anymore. Matches are so optimized that survivors can burn through 5 generators (even while I'm using Pain Resonance/Pop), effectively completing 6 to 7 generators in a match in less than ten minutes and escaping.

On the survivor side, it's the complete opposite, getting destroyed with 4 to 5 generators still left because my random teammates don’t even seem to know what a generator is….

  • I love 2v8 for the chaos, but facing a Wesker/Legion combo 75% of the time makes it boring real fast. Even in regular 1v4 matches, Wesker pops up so often that it starts to feel annoying/boring. Honestly, I’d love an option to avoid certain killers, even if it meant slightly longer queue times. Or maybe Behaviour could add some kind of killer repeat prevention like they do with the maps/realms nowadays.

The game is $25 and this skin is $20.

I don't know what they're thinking, $20 is enough to buy 4 licensed characters with perks and powers if the character is a killer.

As long as people buy skins it wil stay this way, i bought skins for a long time to. I stopped paying for skins the moment they told everyone stranger things was leaving and all the skins would be gone forever. My head went full fomo and i bought everything. Only for the skins to come back 2 years later. That moment i realised i never buy skins from any store again. The only thing i do is pay for the rift pass that gives like 15 cosmetic sets/per rift and that 10 bucks refunds everytime you complete the rift. So im playing with those same 10 bucks for 3 years now. :)

  • I can't say this enough just enjoy the game… after P3 on the characters you need the game is basicly over and it goes way to fast already. You dont need to throw the event items you can throw a anniversary cake, party streamer or escape cake to double your BP while enjoying the event. :)

    Maybe next year.

Try to do some tome challenges and keep them untill the anniversary makes it allot easyer :D I started this again with tome 20 and tome 20 lets me save 1 360 000 BP so ill prolly have about 5 mil BP again at the anniversary if you count 4 tomes each year. :)

I just find it funny especially around anniversary when players post screenshots with thousands of cakes

Still have no idea how they do that, to be honest. I played a lot during the fifth anniversary and I only have, like, 20 cakes or something with Freddy.

If you played allot you should have more cakes as the bloodweb gives you like 2 - 3 and sometimes 4 in 1 level on killer. But i also cannot say what playing allot is for certain people depending on work/family etc.. I always take the most optimal path in rifts so i can save my bloodpoints for the anniversary.

I saved up this anniversary about 7mil bp over the year from various tomes and dumped them all on 1 character. if you then save 2 mil when anniversary hits you have like me 9 mil to spend. 9mil is around 7 prestiges and 7 prestiges are like 300 - 350 cakes on surv or about 600 on killer i think.

I dont know how many cakes/streamers you want but i am wondering how long your playing this game because after leveling everything to 3 the grind is basicly over… There is no use in a prestige 100 besides maybe "liking" the character more then others.

I have posted this in another thread so ill do it again here.

I do not want to be annoying about it but how can it go any faster? I just looked up the dates to be shure.

(These events last atleast 7 days)

    For only 2024 :

    16/01/2024 - x2 Bp

    21/02/2024 - x1,5 Bp

    18/03/2024 - x4 - x5 Bp (bloodmoon event)

    14/05/2024 - x3 bp

    03/06/2024 - x2 bp

13/06/2024 - Farming cakes for 3 weeks (100% anniversary cake)

    05/09/2024 - x2 bp

    24/09/2024 - x3 bp

    17/10/2024 - halloween event item +100% bp

    Winter event is coming soon

Every month you can get 2 mil bp if killer and survivor is rank 1

On top of all the codes we get, free gift in store every week and not talking about logging in bonuses with events? How fast you want to get bloodpoints? We have been so spoiled this year with bloodpoints its ridiculous. Enjoy the game and enjoy the grind. Because after you have everything P3 you basicly do not need bloodpoints anymore.

Ow yeah i forgot the 20 tomes you can complete with 4 levels of challenges rewarding you with BP as well. Thats around 2mil BP some more some less per tome depending on the characters you have.

The last 2 or maybe 3 rifts also give about 400k bp just for playing?

Not talking about the little event tomes we get in between all the stuff like 2v8 or lights out…

100% extra for que depending on what the game needs.

Just enjoy the grind and have fun if you want bloodpoints for a p100 let me remind you there is nothin a p100 gets… After P9 you stop getting rewards.

  • i seriously hope this will be fixed in the last week….

  • I dare to say that most of the tunneling that people actually mean is like this:

More then 50% of the time where the killer tunnels in my game is because survivors unhook TO FAST you can hang there for 70seconds per health state yet people wanna unhook in 0,1 second in the killers face for some reason. What do you expect the killer wil do?

Or the unhooked person who is body blocking a hit for someone while on last hook stage that afterwards yelled the killer tunneled?

As a solo survivor i try to play as optimal as it can get but i see so many people just running around without a clue and i am not talking about people with 100h or something but even people with 2k - 3k hours that should atleast know something about the game.

Also some people also confuse tunneling with the fact they died first… but in reality the killer went to 3 other people first.

  • Pink maps are really hard to find and you need to be lucky also. The green maps are a bit more common what i do lately is try and upgrade all my stuff and run out as survivor. For instance when you bring a green map and use the perk exultation (Trevor belmont perk) it upgrades to pink and if you run out you converted a green map into a pink one to use later so that way you can upgrade everything.

Maybe if we are lucky we get a bloodmoon event again in jan/feb thats where i got my event maps from and they spawned so much i have like 400 spare ones.

    Good luck and hapy farming.

I wish they fixed it, I guess they won't fix it during this event so I'm missing out on all them flashlights and medkits with my P100 Nancy..

i know the feeling. Try to open as much mystery gifts as possible so you have a few atleast.

  • Wonder when they actually fix this bloodweb issue? Bugfix patch release still no items in bloodweb…

  • Happens for me to on my p100/lvl 50 bloodweb but platform is PC

My Issue with the event is that I see no purpose of playing it. It makes playing survivor just more troublesome.

    • Killers get Ranged Attack with the Event.
    • The Smoke Bomb isn't even good in the sense of, you cannot see sh*t as a survivor. It's a double edged sword meanwhile killers can double tap you with their Event Power.
    • Joining and Exiting the Void takes ages (I know it's so survivors cannot abuse it)
    • Killers get free pressure since survivors once again have a new objective (yes the void is useless but we all want our BP)
    • No perk limitation = the same 4 anti-gen builds again
    • The amount of information the killer side now gets: You can see when a survivor is in the void ontop of permanent aura reading if the killers stays in it.
    • The Void applies exhaustion (no dead hard, Iron Will, Sprint Burst etc).
    • The new Loops in the void are.. something. It's not worth looping there especially since once you are downed, you are trapped in it. And in most cases it takes too long to leave, so it's a perfect tool to become permenantly slugged in it (Most likely in the end game where you don't have to worry about Gens).
    • Very subjective but I have rarely seen so many killers tunnel this hard in a event. I don't know what it is, but some people just love ruining events for one said. Yes it goes both ways, but this time I feel some killers really want to ruin the experience.

In short, it is a potentially fun event with useless objectives and… weird balancing. I am happy for those who enjoy they time but I dislike the event for said reasons especially with the hard tunneling I am seeing in every match right now.

This sums it up. All my matches we get destroyed at 5 gens and for some reason nobody is working on gens when i play survivor, Everyone goes down in 5 - 10 seconds… im actually wondering if they are bots or something.

i have the same issue too. On my p100 nea every time i open a mystery box it’s always a serum, broken bulb or the offering. I have about 70 of both addons and the offering but only 14-19 of the event items. Tbh the addons and offering shouldn’t be in a mystery box because they already can spawn their own node with it.

On lower prestige characters the items like medkits/toolboxes and flashlight do spawn in the bloodweb not only in mystery boxes but now i know i am not the only one or it is not only on sable.

  • Guess i need to wait a year then :)

  • i think the discount on steam starts with the halloween sales. This years steam halloween sale is from 26/10 till 02/11

As long as you have P1 to P3 on all characters you own, BP isn't all that important.

They should still fix survivor BP gain though, 1250 for an entire gen is pitiful, and getting 300 from greats and only 50 for good skillchecks on gens only hurts new players. Also the "Survival" points being entirely tied to escaping and getting nothing for surviving for 1-5 gens is lame.

i agree they need to overhaul the bp system its way to outdated. Especcialy the survival and altruism side of survivor.

  • I really wonder when these people started playing? I do not want to be annoying about it but how can it go any faster? I just looked up the dates to be shure.
